Picked up this battery on sale and they had it available and I didn’t have to order it. Drove out from Beaumont to Oceanside . The guy I believe he said his name was Jorge, anyways nice guy. Very friendly and helpful. I was in and out and he even let me use the restroom. I saw a unique bike I’ve been kind of thinking of getting to take my mom (75yr old) on rides to make her feel like a kid again. Definitely would come here again.

I had a great experience purchasing a cruiser bike at Mostly E-Bikes in Oceanside. The owner, George, explained all of my options and was very patient in fitting my new bike to my needs. I have a spinal injury and he helped me set up the bike for maximum comfort. The prices are reasonable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Mostly E-Bikes if you want to purchase or rent any type of bike!

This place is awesome and the new place my sled will be maintained & repaired when needed. While they aren’t authorized Intense dealer approved they were able to get the part needed and bike repaired in days at an affordable price. As an e-bike newbie it’s tough to understand all the terminology and variables involved. George was patient and very articulate explaining the differences between the bikes, motors, classes, etc. He listened carefully to what I want to use the bike for and his recommendation was based on my budget. He didn’t try to push anything beyond what I was looking for. If you want a great bike from a local shop get in there!

So I’m on a 2 month rv trip around the western U.S. and have two bikes from this shop. One of my batteries failed and these shop was awesome. Helped me figure out a plan, gave me bike shop recommendations in Colorado, etc. then when I had to accept my battery was out of warranty and I had to buy a new one, well this shop had the best price in all of the U.S. so I got my replacement battery from here too. And they mailed it out and I got it in a small town in Iowa right on time.In these times when most companies don’t care for customers at all, this shop puts customers at the top of their priorities.

I picked up a hard to find part set that was backordered elsewhere. They had a great price & also referred me to their service department when I had a few questions about some other parts that might work well with it. This place is great! My mom was looking to fix my jetson but found this place. We bought a trek dual sport 2+ and it was a deal for 500$ off. Then it was very easy to buy it just had to wait like 30 minutes. Then since it was Easier for me and my dad to go pick it up they made it super easy to get to us. Great store once again definitely recommend.

MOSTLY E-BIKES is AMAZING! We lost our eBike chargers during our move. I found Mostly E-Bikes in a Goggle search. I was pretty sure I ordered the correct charger but not a 100%. In the comment box I gave the bike info and asked if I had indeed ordered the correct charger. I received an email within hours on a Sunday evening that I had. Early Monday morning I received another email that my chargers had been shipped.

My husband and I purchased an Electra townie today from George and I am so in love with it! Ive wanted a townie for years and mostly e-bikes is the only one in the area that has them!George is super knowledgeable and answered any and all questions we had. He showed us how to work everything really simply, gave us maintenance tips, installed some add ons like lights, a front pouch and even gifted us an emergency air kit for the tire. He was so patient with us! Excellent customer service and I got the exact bike that I wanted for a great price!We visited a few other shops in Oceanside & Carlsbad and mostly E-bikes in my opinion is the best one. They have high quality bikes at really fair prices and they are friendly, knowledgeable and most of all patient and kind and will actually help you.These are people that truly love to ride and want to see more people getting out there cycling because they know how much fun & how therapeutic it can be.Thanks so much George!!!!

Great customer service, super price on a new Trek Powerfly FS 4, shipped to Washington state with no problems. Twenty minutes to fully assemble and get to riding. Not sure why Trek makes bikes that come with NO kickstand, but I doubt thats a Mostly E-bikes issue. Ill be looking for a similar bike for my wife at Mostly E-bikes.

The young men in the bike shop were very nice and helpful. They let us take the bikes out for a test ride which was nice for me. The bikes are pricey but worth it. They are not cheaply made and they check them from head to toe before leaving the shop. I am sending my whole family there.

Chance opportunity to find this shop today and to meet up with George. Super guy who listened with interest to my bike stories. When it came right down to talking about a bike for me he gave me at least 3 good options. I’ll be heading back to the shop this week and again in a few months on my next trip to Oceanside. There is a bike option for everyone and a great repair set up too.

George and staff are amazing! Mostly E-Bikes sits on the Coastal Rail Trail right across from The Cup on Wisconsin with an ocean view! I had not gone in to buy a bike, but walked out with a screaming deal on my dream bike - Tern Vektron S10 1st gen. No hyperbole, when I arrived home I squealed :-) Woke up a couple of times during the night to hug it. George and Stephen were genuinely happy for me! Real bike enthusiasts. Go meet these guys and test ride some bikes on the Rail Trail (great for testing with kids) or Regional Bikeway on Pacific Street. Then get yourself a drink at The Cup. Then buy a bike! (or lock, or helmet, get all your other bikes serviced - I just keep going back).

Mostly E-Bikes had the only remaining Surly model on the planet in the size and gray color I wanted. Staff member George answered numerous pre-purchase emails and based on his helpful replies and on the online reviews of the store I bought the bike. The price was reasonable and the shipping charge was very reasonable considering the east coast destination of the delivery. There was an initial issue with tire sizes but that issue resolved itself, Im happy with the bike and have enjoyed the heck out of riding it. My experience with Mostly E-Bikes was one hundred percent 5-Star positive. Thank you.

I bought my ebike from these guys and just love it. We went back and got my husband his too. Then we returned again to pick up a bike rack. The sales and service are outstanding. I highly recommend them if you are even a tiny bit interested in ebikes. They let us try several different models to be sure we got the right one for each of us. I dont usually go out of my way to do reviews but Ive been so impressed with George and Peter from Mostly E-bikes that I felt compelled. This shop opened in our neighborhood a while ago and weve been in and out at various times for bike accesories and/or service for our traditional bikes. Not long ago we made a big decision and sold one of our vehicles with the intention of getting an electric bike to replace it with. Due to Covid, weve lost one income and no longer need to have 2 cars sitting in the driveway, falling apart from lack of usage. One of us works at home now and the other works at walking distance so this was the perfect opportunity to downsize. We needed something that would be big enough to haul our 2 kids (6 and 9) back and forth to school and the occasional grocery store run when the car was unavailable. George understood our needs and was able to help us navigate through the different bikes and their features. Like a lot of people we dont have a lot of money and it was a little scary selling a car and dropping $5k on a bike. It has turned out to be one of the best decisions we ever made. We settled on a Tern GSD S00 with a few upgrades that we needed and could not be happier with it. On nice days, the boys love rides to school and back. The saddlebags are super roomy for hauling all types of gear. Even with the bags fully loaded, an adult driver, and 2 kids on the back, theres still plenty of juice to get up and down hills and around town. Definitely recommend this store to anyone in a similar situation or who just wants to learn more about bikes or e-bikes. Both guys are very knowledgable, and patient with all of our questions.

George really knows bikes and is great to work with - a great bike buying experience!George is the owner of Mostly Ebikes and he used to work for some of the big ebike companies. He really knows what hes talking about. Hes also super friendly and welcoming to customers - not what you always encounter at many other bike shops. His shop has a nice boutique feeling to it and he spends a generous amount of time with customers to make sure that they choose the right bike and are set up properly. The prices here are also very reasonable for high quality ebikes. Highly recommended!

We had an excellent experience at Mostly E-Bikes! They have the website updated with all the in store inventory so we could call in advance to tell the team what we were looking for. When we got there they had everything put on the bike so it was ready for us to test drive! This is our first e-bike & our attendant, George, took the time to show us all the cool features & capabilites of the bike and made sure we knew all the functions before leaving the store. While I was on the test drive a piece of metal punctured the rear tire. A gem of a bike shop. My partner and I bought our TownieGo e-bikes there four years ago when it was a small shop down the street from its present location. Great service! The mechanics promptly & generously swapped out pedals on my bike so my daughter could ride it. Friends rented All City bikes for a ride along the coast. Mechanics took time to find the right bike for their needs, carefully fit the bikes, and sent them out with tools for adjustments and repairs if needed. The shop is stocked with a variety of high quality bikes and bike accessories.

Staff is very supportive, thoughtful, and responsive. I was looking for a touring bike and called to see if the one that showed up on the website was still available. It was no longer available new but they offered to sell me a bike of the same model that had been used for rentals, at a comfortably discounted price. They put on a new chain at no additional cost and shipped it to me in a box. When I opened the box, it was packed with such care that it felt like I was opening a brand new bike...everything padded and protected. Well done Mostly E-Bikes team!

Renting E-Bikes from George was the best decision we made during our honeymoon! At first, we were hesitant to splurge & rent these bikes, but it literally was the highlight of our trip. (I think the dog liked it too) Our senor pupper has recently been diagnosed with kidney disease. This is something my wife has wanted to do with her little Liberti forever & I didnt known how much time I had to make that happen. I recently bought two Rad Mini e-bikes to celebrate the retirements of my wife and I. I asked the crew at Rad Bikes in Seattle, from whom I ordered the bikes, for a recommendation for a bike shop close to me. They recommended Mostly E-Bikes in Oceanside. On both occasions when I had each bike assembled at Mostly E-Bikes, I was incredibly impressed with the quality of the customer service I received. George is a great guy with a calm and friendly presence who had a genuine interest in my satisfaction of the services I received from his company. His communication was consistently prompt and informative. He had each bike ready within the time frame he indicated. He also helped me get a replacement rotor for my front brake. His staff is also great and has extensive experience! On the two occasions I was at his shop, George provided great service and was impressively friendly and personable. My husband and I stopped in to learn more about electric bikes and check out a few brands. George had a great selection of both bikes we had heard about and some we had not. After test riding 5 different electric bikes, turned out I liked a totally different brand than what I thought I would. George even found me an option for my dream bike that was more in my price range, which was a great deal! He spent a lot of time educating me on my new bike and how to care for it. We went to Mostly E-bikes to look for ones to purchase. George, the owner, was more than accommodating. He let my husband and I test several models, taking them out on the road as long as we needed. He suggested routes to take to really get a feel for each bike we tried. George is very informative about the different models of electric bikes he sells. He gave us the pros and cons of each one we took out for a ride. Once we decided on the Electra Vale Go for each of us, he assisted us in choosing accessories we wanted. When our bikes came in, George made sure that everything on the bike was adjusted to our liking and answered any and all questions we had. Since making our purchase, we have dropped in to see George a couple times. I arrived to Mostly E-Bikes about a quarter before they closed, needing a tube/tire on my semi-new Trek road bike.George dropped what he was doing and immediately gave me and the bike his full attention. However, he didn’t just patch it up and hand it back - he inquired about my uses for it, and thereafter informed me about its potential and its performance. The bike had the original super thin racing/road tires. If I was gonna move around on it, this wasn’t going to be practical, let alone comfortable. He then made some suggestions on how to make some basic changes and keep them inexpensive. The bike was patched. I rode it around for a few days, experimenting, and after a few visits to George’s shop and gaining inspiration by his own bikes, I decided to convert this Trek road bike into a commuter! He gave me many options and suggestions, educating me on tire types, their sizes, rims, calibration, break pads, drive-train, gears, seating, and pedal strokes, etc. I gotta say, although he kept me within my budget, there’s no price on the attention and pride he has put into this bike. His service was superior, professional, and suggestions totally accurate! To this day, whenever I have questions, he responds timely even through email! This bike shop is the real deal and have recommended him to friends and family

So we dropped of our bike here 4x in 3 years for standard turn-ups, been loyal customers and it’s really close to our house so it’s really need it convenient, but today I arrived @ 9:45am they the staff wouldn’t let me drop off 2 bikes for the tires to be replaced,So I came back a 2nd time 2hr later only to find out they won’t touch a bike that got a throttle, yet all they sell is electric bikes. I went to Mostly E-bikes because my father in law purchased bikes for both himself and my mother in law at Georges shop and had a great experience. My father in law is a meticulous researcher so I knew anywhere he went would probably be good. Ive been riding for a while (both mountain and road) but my wife and I spend more time on our old, clunky, heavy beach cruisers now. After borrowing my in-laws bikes for a couple weeks we fell in love with e-bikes. I went to Georges shop looking for a nice bike at a good price and luckily he had some awesome rentals (you can purchase his rental bikes at a discount and they are METICULOUSLY maintained). I picked up an awesome, low mileage Gazelle Medeo for my wife for her birthday and she loved it so much I went in and picked up a Gazelle Cityzen T9 for myself a month later. THe bikes are incredible, and because they were rentals we got a great deal. Weve had a couple minor adjustment tweaks and George and his staff have reacted quickly to make sure everything was resolved. He and his staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and approachable. I think my favorite thing about George and his shop is that there is NO pressure. No upselling. This is truly a neighborhood bike shop run by a guy whos passionate about his craft and seems to care about his customers comfort most of all. I went back to the store to get the rims replaced as I had not properly maintained them from the ocean salt. It was clear that I didnt properly maintain them, but George was so accommodating that he replaced them free of charge even when they werent warranted. Even for a small store I was impressed with his selection of e-bikes. He had a variety of brands to tailor every need. I havent rode a bike in a long time. I came into a Kalkhoff ebike but the dead batteries was giving me issues. Its very hard to get parts and service for these bikes since theyre from the EU. I didnt want to pour too much money into it. I found Mostly E-bikes online to see if they had the part I needed expecting a quote and sale. I have been a Mostly e-Bikes customer for three-years and during which time my family and friends have purchased eight e-bikes from the shop.It wasn’t until recently did I have the need to access the service department. It was reassuring to know that the mechanics are highly knowledgeable and are Bosch and Shimano trained and certified.It was a real pleasure working with the shop’s service manager, Peter, and his staff of friendly mechanics. Peter was tasked with replacing my ‘cable shifting’ with a Shimano Di2 ‘electronic shifting’ system. The work preformed required removing and replacing the Bosch e-motor, Additional work included removing the shifting cables and key components, installing new derailleurs and shift levers, routing electronic wires inside the frame, along with connecting the wires to multiple junction boxes plus installing a wireless transmitter along with fitting a battery into the seat post.The job was performed without a hitch. The workmanship far exceeded my expectation. Riding my e-bike has never been better or more enjoyable! I can recommend the Mostly e-Bike service department without any reservation. If you need a minor or major service or repair, Mostly e-Bikes has experienced technicians, tools and knowledge to get the job done right.

My first ebike was from an online seller and was okay. I called to find out about having a rear flat tire repaired on my electric scooter/bicycle. Guy on phone said bring it in and the cost would be $15. I told him I was going to fill it with air and see how long it would hold and then ride it in. When I got there around 3:30 pm on Sat. 2 guys were working in the store and no customers anywhere. My tubeless tire went flat 20 miles from home. Julian kindly installed a tube in about 10 minutes. VIP service!
