Great place for American food. I loved the chicken and biscuits. The combination was perfect. I had gone on a Wednesday afternoon, but they did not have spaghetti and giant meatball prepared for that day, so I was not able to get what I wanted. The burgers were good but nothing too exceptional. I was most bothered by how dirty the tables were. There was a lot of nasty built up in between the cracks, but it’s not too noticeable unless you start digging, and it’s pretty standard for a casual American food restaurant. The milkshake was delicious! It was very creamy and not too sweet — just the way I like my milkshakes. There was also a wide selection of beers. I had a positive experience overall. I will come back for the milkshake & chicken and biscuits! Maybe I’ll get lucky and catch some spaghetti too.

Cons: limited coffee options, no pastry/croissant/small bite on the menu. Pancakes were not soft at all. Portion size was normal, not huge!Chicken Benedicts was anything but Benedicts: just regular fried eggs.Country potatoes were just dark fried potatoes, no country spice and veggies. Hard and small muffins.Pros: good service, eggs tasted good, spacious yet cozy atmosphere, easy parking. Outdoor seating.

Coming here at off-hours (dinner) was actually a pretty good choice. Good service plus there is absolutely no wait. The Tatertot-cho appetizer was tasty, the burgers - All American and fried chicken sammo were average. They tend to get heavy handed on the cheese sauce, seasoning on the fries and salad dressing, if you are watching your waistlines, ask those to be on the side.

We live 8 minutes from Campbell so we go very often, we like to have lunch and stay for the afternoon and work online. This summer we went many times and discovered Mos: the service is very attentive and friendly, specially Melvin, my hubby forgot his credit card after we pay, so he look for us on the street until he find us and return the card. The menu has many options: On our first visit I ordered the asian chicken salad with grilled chicken breast and noodles topped with peanuts. and my husband the american classic hamburger. Second visit I ordered The frenchy: Caramelized onions, arugula and creamy brie cheese, served on a brioche bun slathered with mayo / dijonaise spread. Oh la la =)The third times the charm: the big surprise was the hangover hamburger: topped with cheddar cheese, bacon, canadian bacon or chorizo, mayo and an egg. Served with a side of hash browns. Soooo yummy.The terrace is a favorite place for young and noisy people, many with dogs, but this is part of the charm of the place. I highly recommend Mos for a fun experience with good food.Very important: Bottomless Mimosas $15 😁Update : Today we went for lunch 🥗 I choose the Cobb Like No Other Salad 🥗 and my hubby the Hangover Hamburger 🍔 Excellent both 👍

My family came here for Labor Day breakfast. I got the Fig, Prosciutto & Avocado Toast and it was absolutely delicious. Decadent & Sweet! At the end of our meal, our server Karely gave us an Apricot French Toast on the house! Thank you so much Karely ❤️

It was a very nice and quaint experience. It was not busy at all when we went. The service was very nice. The food was great, the burger and boneless wings were really amazing. The Benedict was good, a salty, they give two pieces of ham which may be why but overall everything was great!

The host did not seem to like his job very much and gave off a vibe that we were bothering him even though only 2 other tables were occupied. A warmer host would have made a world of difference. The place looks great and food was pretty good. Good luck.

Went here for breakfast. Excellent selection. The Huevos Rancheros is a must try. Their country potatoes are seasoned so well. The patio seating has a wonderful atmosphere. The service is pretty great as well. Need to come back again for the burgers!

Experience - We made a reservation same week for a Saturday at 12:30pm Brunch for a party of 9. Four of us arrived early but we were told by a man we could not be seated without the rest of the party and would lose our reservation if the whole party was not ready to be seated ten minutes after the reservation. The rest of party was absolutely not going to there for longer than that. Went back to ask to just go ahead and add us to the list which the girl at the front said she really wanted to seat us and she was going to see what she wanted to do. This girl talked to the same man I had talked to and they agreed to seat us but our two hour clock would start ticking. We said that is perfectly fine. Super appreciative they sat us when they shouldn’t my have! After being seated service was initially slow because this place is PACKED for brunch on Saturdays. I observed several large parties amongst their many normal sized tables. Mo’s offered bottomless mimosas for $17. Everyone at the table ordered one. Drinks took a while to make it to the table because the restaurant had ran out of glasses and had to collect unused cups and sanitize them for new use. One guy in my group ended up with a 12oz mason jar. Hilarious.Food - so so. I’m vegan and the menu was not very vegan friendly so I ended up ordered the prosciutto + fig avocado toast with NO prosciutto and NO Parmesan. I ended up with some pretty boring overpriced toast quite frankly. The bread they use isn’t special. I also ordered Mo’s country style potatoes which were super seasoned! These had a nice texture. Crispy and soft. Should have ordered five sides of country potatoes. You can never go wrong with fried or roasted salty potatoes. (Please, consult with your doctor before mass consuming Salty oily potatoes. Known to cause health risks in many.)

Solid breakfast spot in Campbell. They have mostly American and Tex mex breakfast.We usually order some kind of egg Benedict, huevos rancheros or breakfast tacos. I also really enjoyed their avocado toast.If you come on Sundays they have a farmers market which you can walk around after and get some groceries.

Wouldn’t recommend! We were really exited to go to this place until we ended up with bacon in my boyfriend’s sriracha cheese melt when we clearly asked the server multiple times to replace the patty with beyond burger and add no meat. We were cut off with our bottomless mimosa service right after we complained regarding the same to the supervisor! Do not spoil your weekend at this place as the food was not an out of the box experience too! The potato fries were stale and the hash brown was floating in the oil! The server had no recommendations and on the whole, a complete waste of time and money!

Nice service, a little slow, but my bacon was way over cooked, eggs were over cooked, and my toast was burnt. The amount of people that were lined up to eat, I dont think they dont need to care about the quality of the food. There are better places to go for breakfest.

The food they serve looks fantastic. I ordered the Red white and blue burger and the Nutella French toast.Id give the French toast 3.5 stars..little bit too much Nutella for my liking but overall it was still good. The hamburger looked great however the Patty we ordered was supposed to be medium there wasnt any red at all. The burger looked to be smashed down on the grill to cook it faster,this to me is a major No-No and also tasted of Greece from the grill.

Really like this place friendly service and a nice chill atmosphere. I got the roadhouse bbq burger with a salad 🥗. It was very good a cooked perfectly. This place is a more expensive so keep that in mind if you plan on visiting. I do recommend if youre in this area!

The French toast bacon dish (first item on their menu) is a must try, the presentation is memorable, and the taste is satisfying. Tbh their French toast makes french toast at other breakfast restaurants seem disappointing in comparison.Other menu items have not been as tasty.

Near empty mid-afternoon Sunday. 1 or 2 tables occupied. Plenty of staff. I stood at the door/kiosk waiting to be seated. I wasnt even acknowledged. The waitress directly to my left was visiting with patrons. After 5 minutes I finally went to the kitchen counter and asked if I should seat myself. I would have left but I was waiting for a friend. I had to request menus, water, beverages, to order, and the check. It was 20+ minutes before we received our beverages. Our server tried to leave w/out taking our order, but I stopped him. I wanted to leave but my friend was too embarrassed to do so (whatever). The only saving grace was the delicious burger. Seriously some of the worst service I have never received. The place was damn near empty and the staff just stood around talking and joking with each other. NEVER again!

Came here on a Friday for brunch. Place is nicely decorated. Wasnt too crowded. I ordered the Rancho Benedict, (egg, bacon, onion ring, and goat cheese). It normally comes with bbq sauce but I left that off. The Benedict was good, I liked the interesting comination of flavors, but the potatoes were a bit bland. The wife got the motatta but was not happy with it.The portions here are pretty large, so you get good value for your money.

This place has really good chicken sandwiches. The service is a little weird at lunch where you just walk in and sit down. Dont wait for someone to come seat you. The fries are pretty good and they have a few TVs so you can watch the game while you eat.

One of the most creative breakfast places in the South Bay. Be warned that their breakfasts have ~gazillion calories so you can skip lunch on the day you go to Mos. French toast with apricots and cream cheese is my favorite. Kids love bacon Dipper pancakes.

Delicious breakfast served in ABUNDANCE!! The food was really good and plentiful. Prices are a little up there but the quality and service warrants it. I got the breakfast sammo with ham and the hubby got pancetta hash with two eggs sunnyside up. Both great and I only was able to eat half the sammo. The service was excellent too. Next time Im in San Jose Ill be back to try the burgers!

I came to Mos today with a friend of mine for a business meeting. Thankfully in fact because I was told by the staff when trying to get a table that in order to eat here at during this pandemic, we must either live together or work together, amongst a few other necessary essentials,(not have a cold or cough, signs of flu, ect...)After getting through the interview, the experience was above par. The food was relatively cheap and definently scrumptious. The service was awesome and the overall atmosphere was relaxing. The bathroom wasnt all that clean however, but since it was at least open to the public and customers I cant complain too much. I will be coming back again.

Decent place for brunch. Was busy on a Saturday morning with a 35-40 minute wait. You just give them your cell phone number and theyll call when your table is ready so you can walk around town to the little shops which is nice. Diverse menu selections, was hard to decide. The bloody Mary was decent and nicely dressed. Got the Roadhouse Benedict. English muffins topped with spinach, onion rings, poached eggs, bacon, goat cheese, and hollandaise sauce and homemade Chipotle BBQ sauce. Country potatoes on the side. Delicious food!!

Wow! What a great place!Came here last night for brinner and was not disappointed. I got the apricot stuffed French toast and my husband got the heuvos rancheros. We couldn’t decide what we liked more.Anytime bottomless mimosas for $14! And a ton of options on the menu - you’re sure to find something you like - the one downside is their veggie burger is mushroom not an actual veggie burger patty :(Definitely recommend!!

I came in here w/ the wife and kiddo one evening and we had a great time. I got a tasty burger that came with some great tots. I love tots! The burger was like a combo grilled cheese/burger/patty melt thing that was supposed to have some sriracha in it. It was great, though I didnt experience much sriracha. My wife got the benedict w/ sausage gravy, and she didnt have rave reviews on it, she said it was OK. I tried the gravy and thought it was good, but shes the benedict expert, not me. I like burgers. My daughter got their short stack of pancakes and she ate all of them, which is basically a 5 star rating for her.The drink menu was wide ranging and had quite a few good options on it.

At least the coffee was good! I had the Motatta, which was dry & bland (might blame the turkey sausage there) but it was topped with arugula so that the overall flavor was just bitter greens. My dining partner had the Semi-Old Fashioned Benedict, and said the eggs were poached perfectly, the Hollandaise was decent, but the biscuit was decidedly dense and non-flaky. Country potatoes were a bit on the salty side. Service was surprisingly sparse (there were only 3 customers in the place on a weekday morning) - food was served quickly but we were never offered a refill on the coffee, they just took the order, dumped the food, and then came back with the check a while later.

Walked in with a party of five at 1PM and got seated by a host that seemed to not want to be there. Place was pretty empty. Sat for ten minutes unacknowledged by anyone watching staff stand behind the bar ignoring customers talking with each other. Flagged down a server who spoke so quickly it was hard to understand them. I waited a year to finally try the food. I went with family. Very unsatisfactory. The food is greasy, salty but not enjoyable especially the shrimp and wings and heavy made my tummy hurt. I tried to order a basic American breakfast but wanted eggs with cooled medium with a creamy yolk but they couldn’t get it right. Maybe i was the wrong audience.

We had a terrible experience here today. We had a reservation for brunch after my daughter’s kindergarten graduation to celebrate. Another table was sat outside (which was a walk in) the same time as we were (with a reservation) and immediately had a server visit their table and soon after received water and then their drink order was delivered. After 20 plus minutes, the server returned to the other table and took their food order. We had never had anyone come to our table even to greet us or say they would be over soon. I asked the server if she was our server and she said yes, but she couldn’t help us because she had another table to attend to inside. I told her we were seated at the same time as the other table she had been helping and that we would have to leave for work if we couldn’t be helped soon and she said, “that’s too bad, I have another table inside,” and walked away. We left immediately and had ice cream for lunch at Campbell Creamery. This spoiled a special day for our family, was shockingly bad service (I used to be a server myself), and we will never be back.

The service was excellent in spite of it being a very busy time on a Saturday, and the food was fine if not a bit bland, but the vibe was just somehow off... like without being told to leave, we got the feeling it was time to leave before we were finished eating. The Sriracha cheese melt is absolutely delicious! Its not too spicy either. This is going to be my new go to Mos meal. The service was also amazing! We sat outside with our dog and the server brought him some water. She was so thoughtful and helpful. Amazing dining experience!

The food is quite good. Their burgers are tasty and not overcooked like many other places, and other items are also good. They have interesting (ie out of the norm) combinations. Their breakfast/brunch selection is creative and tasting good. Their staff is also very courteous and friendly. I had a couple of bad experience in the past with some managers being rude compared to the wait staff, but lately it has changed for the better. Service is still hit or miss, you could be waiting 20 min before anyone acknowledges you, or you could get fast and attentive service

Slow service, rude staff.They seat people quickly but then we waited over half an hour with no service. No water, no silverware. My wife asked one of the 3 hostesses who were standing there if anyone could take our drink order after 15 minutes. They said someone would be right with us, but still sat there watching them seat more and more people without anyone getting service. We only saw one waiter helping people that had already been there, so my wife eventually asked him if he could take our order, but he said he wasnt our waiter. Now its been 30 minutes so, we asked a busser if he could get someone. They came and took everyone elses orders around us that had been waiting a long time also, but were seated after we were. We left without eating, and they immediately sat someone in our spot. Told the manager our experience, and she shrugged and said, um sorry.

I met my sister on a Tuesday morning at about 9:30 AM. We were greeted quickly, and sat outside, they had the heaters going on the patio. After we were seated, the drinks came fairly quickly but after that EVERYTHING was painfully slow. They never checked if we wanted more coffee or mimosas (we had to flag them down). If it wasnt for the food being good I would have left one star due to the service. We sat close to the front door, we could see everything inside (only one other patron inside for a good hour) they were not busy at all. Took awhile to get the check and even longer for them to collect. Once he/she did that, we watched them run our card then promptly take everything somewhere else. We had to ask for our cards to be returned. My cheddar bacon tater-tot waffle (that was definitely 5 stars)

Service was poor, the food is bland and took too long to come out with not many guests. In addition, the manager/owner lacks people skills/customer service. My girlfriend wanted to ensure we received our mimosas and the waiter insulted her, insinuating that the bill was too expensive. It was not, we treat ourselves nice often and the manager/owner floated in the back without ever speaking to us. The manager instead gave the waiter directions, which didn’t make it any better. Overall, we will not be back.

Solidly meh experience. I ordered the chicken n waffles and my wife ordered the Cobb salad. A) the Cobb salad doesnt come with bacon, which I can pass if its like a unique interpretation B) but no, it really just looked like a larger side salad and was 100% not worth $17 C) the waffles were *okay* but really were kind of dense and not particularly crispy at all D) the fried chicken was dry *and* the batter was terribly dredged such that it really wasnt sticking at all E) bizarrely the chicken still seemed under fried since it didnt have the right golden color F) the maple syrup was weirdly not sweet, with me dousing the entire thing with all they provided and still feeling like I needed more

I made reservations on OpenTable for 7:45 pm for Sunday (Morhers Day). I received a call from someone named Marcos representing himself as the manager letting me know that we would only have 15 minutes to dine. I began to try asking why do they accept reservations at a time that makes no sense. He rudely kept cutting me off and kept doing so. I didn’t get a response or a chance to talk. The discussion escalated, was completely confrontational and verbally violent. I asked multiple times for the contact info for his manager or owner which he constantly refused. When I began to respond to his refusal and treatment of me once again I was cutoff.I tried calling back 3 times with no answer. I called back a fourth time and he immediately began antoginizing me, once again yelling and indicating I would no longer be serviced.I was quite upset and told him I could not get to Mo’s today ( I was in dialysis) but I would come tomorrow (Saturday) to confront him and demand the contact for his manager or owner. He said I could come and that he had dealt 1,000 times with irate customers. He terminated the call.Approximately 30 minutes later a woman representing herself as HR for Mo’s called me to let me know her employee called indicating I threatened him and she would report me to the Campbell police. I indicated I never threatened him, he was verbally violent with me and she had not inquired from me what had happened. The hamburgers were very good. One of the best in town. They give a good portion of beef and the meat was tender and melted in my mouth. The fries were somewhat of a letdown. Too many manager replacements, and customers go ignored from cold food to empty glasses. Visited for dinner on a Thursday. I was craving American. This did not fit the bill. The menu is somewhat limited and over-worked. I just wanted a burger and a shake. Every item on the menu felt like it had everything on it. I ordered the nearest thing to a cheeseburger and my the wife ordered the hotdog, which was every bit as crazy as their burger selection.The burger and hotdog were both extremely messy to eat. They were large enough to render them mechanically difficult to eat. We also both had meat juice run down our arms when we managed to take a bite. The juice from the burger poured into an honest-to-goodness pool on my plate and the buns put up a great fight but eventually lost out to the excessive moisture in both cases and in spite of a great deal of plate mopping with paper napkins. I had to remove my sweater to preserve my sleeves and the wife did not make it through the meal without getting food on her scarf.I will give it this: the flavours were quite good.The chocolate milkshake was made using a syrup and came out very thin. The flavour was good, but it didnt take much like chocolate. It mainly just tasted really creamy.The restaurant was clearly understaffed. There was only one waitress for most of the meal, later joined by a second waiter, who seemed to have been called in from home to help. The kitchen was open to see from the dining area and there only appeared to be two people back there. The waitstaff were VERY nice and pleasant and performed admirably under the stress, but could not keep up and were piling dirtied dishes on the next table over instead of taking them back to the kitchen while leaving vacated tables un-bussed.The restrooms were not clean - again, likely due to understaffing. They had two unisex restrooms and I visited both while we were there. Both were stocked, but the toilets had soiled seats and bowls and one of the sinks also had suspect material splattered in it. Liquid on the floor near one of the toilets. Im never a fan of that and I always wonder.

Been going here for 4 years. So awesome when I found it. I feel recently 2016dec-current has taken a big fall in quality. Service and quality of food overall. Examples from a fried egg over cooked/ scambled eggs dry to the burgers over cooked and dry. Staff is very young and seem to be forgetful. Still love this place and hope it gets better before new pruneyard restaurants arrive.

Came in because Opa was too busy. Dinner time and they had none if the Supper dishes available.Bacon burger pretty yummy and bun was good but crunchy fried had funky after taste and the Latin music in kitchen was louder than the music in dining room. Disappointed the the chicken fried steak or meatloaf were not options at dinner so I guess we didnt recover. Got taco salad and no avocado.Just waaa really.

Very cute, small and romantic spot. Its kind of half inside and half outside, with some of the roof made of intertwining tree branches and leaves/greenery, giving it a patio-like feel. Candlelight and soft music add the finishing touches.

Took my family to have a nice dinner. After ordering our food, there where two girls that had too much to drink, after knocking over a glass, one girl decided to take a picture of the other which she was flashing the camera inside the restaurant while my 12 year old son was in her view and my 9 year old as well. No one in the restaurant said a word. So I cancelled my order and walked out. Sad to say the workers didnt say anything and I thought Campbell was a family oriented place. Guess now, not a family restaurant.

Bottomless Mimosas?! Chicken waffles?! Ok- so we actually wandered in here before viewing the menu as desperate parents trying to find safe haven from kid induced storm attending Campbells Oktoberfest. However, stars for great service limited to 4 bc I have high expectations on food. We ended up here bc for some reason we thought it was good idea to take the kids to check out Oktoberfest after a busy day at the pumpkin patch (wishful thinking!?). When our toddler made it loud and clear he was done with humanity we ducked into Mos to assess the damage and determine next steps. The host and staff were so nice and understanding in spite of our high-strung state we decided to stay and take our chances. So glad we stayed. Their all-day breakfast options, bottomless mimosas, crayons, kids menu and beer list saved us from disaster. Thanks Mos staff and we will definitely come back!

Food was excellent, poor waitress, she was the only waitress there tonight and she was on top of her game. Very nice, apologetic for the wait. It takes a lot of not so good for me to give a 3-star rating. I hadnt been to Mos in awhile and wont be going back.I visited for brunch and was on the early side so the restaurant was not busy. Sadly, the food was subpar and the staff gave me the impression that they didnt care if I was there or not.

In A Nutshell:-Mos is a nice place to grab breakfast/brunch, especially after you checkout the Campbell Farmers Market.-They serve up some of the classics like their All-American Breakfast along w/ some unique breakfast plates such as their Nutella French Toast.-This place is packed on the weekends, so your strategy should be to put your name on the waiting list, then go shop at the Campbell Farmers Market until your table is ready.Overall, Mos is definitely above average when it comes to enjoying one of Americas favorite foodie past times - breakfast/brunch.

Ok, retracting from an old comment from about a year and a half ago. FIRST, the more recent staff has been amazing! Warmer, more inviting and definitely genuine.Secondly, I tried the same meal twice before posting my opinion. The result was mindblowing. Roadhouse Benedict takes the cake!!!And lastly, for being an establishment in Downtown Campbell the price to portion ratio allows one to leave more room for a bigger tip, and believe me the staff deserves it!

Just been there: I had to cut away burnt meat from my burger’s chorizo. Fries (which were supposed to be hash browns according to the menu) were a bit burnt as well and left fish smell on my hands. A beer bottle magically became a beer can. We asked just for basic stuff to attendants (cutlery, ketchup) but we basically had to serve ourselves.

We love the Mo’s down in Almaden and assumed the Campbell location would have the same level of quality. Unfortunately, not. The restaurant is looking tired (ripped fabric on the booths) and their “A” team was not working on this late Friday afternoon. My grilled portabella was rubbery and my husband’s tomato soup was much too salty, while his simple grilled cheese was underwhelming. The only redemption was the JCB bubbly and Seismic Liquification Kolsch. Sorry, Mo’s. 😔

Dont think they care for black people. I witnessed Asian and White people getting double the portion of chicken. In my experience they tend to give White and Asian whole breast and a black man tenders for same meal. Very sad and doubt I ll ever return.
