We were dying of heat when Shawn came the same day as our call for help. The fees to fix it were less than $500.00. He’s been gone 20 minutes & the temp is already 78 degrees! Conclusion: Not cooling at all to nice & cold; one day service; $99.00 diagnosis fee waived since we authorized same day service; and a tech who dearly loved his job!! THAT’s WHAT WE GOT TODAY.Thanks Shawn!!👍

I was very impressed with the professionalism of Moore. They were very efficient and polite on the phone. When the technician, GIOVANNI GONZALEZ, came out he was very knowledgeable and friendly. Our experience with Moore Mechanical began with an in-home evaluation with Jesse. He explained everything necessary to make an informed decision about a complete HVAC replacement. We decided on a Carrier Infinity system and were about to be blown away!Danny and his installation team brought our new system a short time later. They spent an entire day removing the old system and installing the new one. It required some custom sheet metal work that was done flawlessly. What a great bunch of guys, we really appreciated them! After that long hot day the system was fired up for testing. The team meticulously performed their required tests and everything worked great. We were so excited!Well, the following morning we had an issue. It was chilly and we tried to warm up the house. The system struggled to fire up. Here is where the amazing customer service team kicked in. The ladies on the front lines at Moore Mechanical answered the phone and assured us it would be taken care of immediately. That afternoon Danny showed up and quickly fixed the issue, which was a tiny flexible tube that had accumulated some condensation in it from being brand new, preventing the gas safety shutoff from allowing the system to fire up. He showed me and explained what happened. The system has ran flawlessly since!We really loved our experience with Moore Mechanical, and we love our Carrier Infinity system. We made a key investment for our future and couldnt be happier. Its efficient and quiet, and the filtration is amazing. There is barely any dust in our house anymore, amazing! The thermostat even lets us know when its time to change the filter!Thank you Moore Mechanical, we appreciate each and every one of you that helped make our experience the best!!

I had a new heat pump/AC system (with a new furnace) put in by Moore Mechanical last summer and the installation and the service since then has been great. The company has been very responsive with any questions or concerns I have had. I got several estimates before I selected Moore Mechanical and I’m very glad I went with them. I just had routine maintenance completed, and the technician (Ron) was very helpful and knowledgeable, as well as friendly, and on time! He also had good suggestions for preventing issues in the future and helped me find the right accessories. The technician who came out shortly after installation to address an issue with the cooling was also very friendly and helpful, and gave good information about the system overall. I appreciate the responsiveness and how quickly I have been able to schedule appointments when needed (which is not often at all!).

Ron was thorough, professional and very knowledgeable. I think that the failure of my 2-year old AC may be covered by warranty, but I paid for the work ($1400+). Not happy about that, but Ron was great. Hopefully the warranty is honored.

When I called Moore Mechanical to make an appointment for an issue with the AC, I had a pleasant customer service experience. Luckily, my appointment was on the same day, and the technician Ulises came out to my tri-level condo where the system is located on the roof. Ulises inspected the system throughly both inside and outside. He explained the diagnosis in a professional and knowledgeable manner. He fixed the issue right away. I highly recommend this company because of the excellent customer service at the call center, reasonable price, and most of all, the professional and knowledgeable technician. Thank you, Ulises!

A difficult Ulises as the replacement relay was different from the one he was replacing. He had a lot of difficulty getting the condenser unit and the compressor unit to link up but after several hours of trouble shooting he was able to get the air conditioning to work. Frustrating but he stuck to it and, in spite of the extra time it took the bill was the same as the estimate... Well done Ulises...

The crew finished installation of our furnace and air conditioning system nicely. The lead technician, Jacob, did communicate to me in the whole installation. However, the technician installed the compressor outdoor didnt clean up well and left some hardware on my lawn. They werent not very good at cleaning up after their work - I found screws and duct-tape left in my gargage and driveway. Thats why they only got 3 stars.

Though this service had been paid for in advance, I asked him about how to save a little money on a couple of ad-ons I’d like. He was very responsive and gave me an idea of how to cut down on costs. We were happy with the service from Moore Mechanical. Our heater stopped making heat during the night, and we woke up on a Tuesday morning to a freezing cold house. Moore sent their technician Richard to diagnose the problem the same afternoon. The fix required a part to be shipped from out of town. It arrived Thursday morning, and Moore had it installed by Thursday afternoon. That seemed like a quick turnaround to me. Richard was on time, efficient, pleasant, and professional.

I used Moore Mechanical for the first time to do an inspection of my Mitsubishi mini-split heat pump with 2 indoor units & water heater. The entire team and process was very professional, friendly and helpful. Making an appointment was easy,. Phone response was quick & questions answered clearly. The tech Joseph was thorough and knew exactly what needed to be done. He was careful not to damage anything or leave any a mess. He explained what he was doing & did not try to sell me anything.Update 3/7/24:They came out to do for a semi-annual check-up & Richard did a very thorough cleaning & inspection. Just a quick headsup that I did not go with Moore Mechanical for my project.Nevertheless, the proposal phase is also very important so this review is just a recap of my experience working with Kevin from Moore Mechanical, which long story short was a rewarding experience.A brief recap:My 25 year old ducted 10 SEER AC/furnace unit although still working seemed to use more and more power to cool and heat the home, so I wanted to look into installing a new HVAC unit.I contacted several companies to understand more about the systems and quotes they offered and 2 such companies were from the Diamond certified list, Moore mechanical being one of them.Kevin Bradley showed up with a friendly smile and great attitude. He was very thorough in examining my existing system outdoors and indoors in my attic as well. His proposal was similarly very thorough, but to me the price (parts plus labor) was a bit high for me for a system efficiency that I wanted. My point of comparison was another company that said they could install a similar system for significantly cheaper.I understand that oftentimes there is a price you pay for a quality install like the one from Moore Mechanical but as much as my heart wanted it my pocket and wallet liked the more friendly option especially since it used identical equipment.That said Kevin was very understanding of my budget plight. He promptly answered all my questions and addressed my concerns the best that he could.All in all, I was lucky to have met him and learned a lot from talking with him.I would definitely recommend Kevin to anyone interested in getting a new hvac system from Moore Mechanical.

I recently purchased a Honeywell Home WiFi programmable thermostat for my conventional home heating system. The re-wiring from my battery operated thermostat seemed simple enough but I could not get the WiFi in my home to be recognized by the new thermostat. Recognizing these limits within my own knowledge base, I called Moore Mechanical. They efficiently replied to me and sent out technician David Betancourt. Davids youthful appearance had no relationship to his expertise and conscientious assessment of my issues. David was thoughtful, efficient and thorough in reviewing all our wring issues and finding the incompatible circuitry within our homes furnace that was preventing the establishment of a WiFi connection to the new thermostat. I have used this company to install a new air conditioner for upstairs 3 years ago and now I’m replacing the downstairs’ air conditioner. Kevin noticed my water heater was 16 years old. I understand that HVAC companies are in high demand especially during the summer season and labor costs reflect that but beware.I had Moore Mechanical come out to diagnose a faulty TXV, cost for the service visit was $125. When I scheduled the repair, I was told that the repair would take between 3 and 4 hours of labor to complete. The initial estimate for the repair included replacing the part (which was covered under warranty!), pumping down the system, replacing the part and recharging the system with the recovered refrigerant. The estimate also included the installation of a new drier filter, torch materials, etc.Technician showed up at the scheduled time, he pumped down and evacuated the refrigerant. He then went to the attic to replace the TXV, which took no longer than 20 minutes. The TXV is threaded in, so no soldering required. The tech who diagnosed the issue, should have noticed the TXV can be replaced rather quickly. He then vacuumed the system and released the charge. He completed the entire job in under 2 hours, which is great, but I should not have been charged for 3-4 hours of work. I also asked the tech about the drier filter that was on the estimate, he replied that it does not have to be replaced. Why was I charged for the filter and the labor? The tech basically said, if I want the new filter, he needs to start the work all over. Well, it was part of the estimate, and he should have replaced it right away before recharging the system and me asking about it. No soldering labor was performed, and no soldering material was used for the entire job. He reduced the final invoice because he was able to use the recovered R-410. The final charge for the job was $2,000, no materials used and considering the part was under warranty, this is outrageous for a 2-hour job.I tried to contact their billing department several times to have them explain and itemize the invoice, but (shockingly) every time I called, I am told they are not available, and they would return my call. Still waiting for that. Also, the final invoice lists 2 technicians, but there was only one on site.I am very unhappy about their nontransparency in their estimate and invoice, everything seems to be baked into one job to replace a part, no matter how long it takes. Well, this time it was $1,000 an hour labor. 35 years in the business or not, think again hiring this company.Update: After 10 days still no follow up.

I called this morning and was given an afternoon appointment (Saturday) to repair an AC unit and I was told on no less than 6 times (either by phone or by chat) someone will be contacting me. Purchased this home with an A/C unit that had sunk below grade and was tilted to one side. They sent a mechanic for running diagnostic on my tankless water heater. When he came in, the first thing he mentioned was that he cant do much about the existing heater, still opened 4 screws to open the front panel, and had the same comment after. After that, he started selling me for installing a new water heater and still charged me 125 for the diagnostic fee. After discovering that the gas valve he just installed didn’t solve our heating issue, Ulises did a good job of determining and communicating what was the real problem. He apologized for the misdiagnosis made by a co-worker, let us know that we wouldn’t have to pay for the valve and said that he would have to return with the correct part. I called Saturday morning and a member arrived within two hours to help us decide what we needed. There was no pressure to purchase more than we needed. We purchased a new heater, coil, and air conditioning unit on Saturday, called to schedule installation on Monday, and the work was completed in one day the following Wednesday. My first experience with this company in 2017 was great, and at the time I would have recommended them to anybody. They came out again this year, however, and things didn’t go as well. I had purchased their service agreement, where they come out twice a year to service the AC and furnace unit. It was working flawlessly, and when the tech came out for the annual service he found a capacitor on the blower motor that was outside of specs. I recognize capacitors can degrade over time, so I had him replace it. I was happy with the cost of the service agreement and the cost of the repair. The prices were competitive.The technician completed the work, but about three hours after he left the blower motor stopped working. Keep in mind it worked flawlessly before he changed the capacitor. That was on a Friday, so on Monday I called them back and the same tech responded that same day. He acknowledged the motor was working slower than normal and he had to reset it (whatever that means), but on the invoice he indicated there was no problem found and the company charged a $69 trip fee.In my book, that should have been warranty work with no extra charge. I don’t shop around for the cheapest rate, but I want honest work for a fair price. It’s unbelievable they would charge a trip fee to fix something that was likely caused by their technician. I paid the fee, but for $69 they just lost a customer.

I really wanted to write a 5 star review, but this isnt that review. Suffice to say there was plenty of reason to see why some have truly great experiences with Moore. A lot of ours fell into that. That said, communication - particularly once the main install part of our work was done - was beyond abysmal. I was left with a impression of people that have great smiles and do great work, but are not dependable. If it isnt the big commitment, it would seem to be noise and fall off the radar.Super nutshell version: Great people, probably all well intended, but communication before the install was OK, and communication post install - including for commitments made but not yet completed - is essentially non-existent. The install portion of our overall work was rock solid subject to one significant communication issue. If you asked us on the last installation day our rating, it would have been 5 stars. It dropped to three based on what didnt happen from then on (non-install work is part of the equation, promises to follow up and then is most of the rest).Synopsis version:The Pros:The people are all great. Extremely friendly - literally every one of them.The installation work was tidy, done on time, and they cleaned up afterward.The Cons:The Consult we received seemed good at the time, but was functionally never finished. It was supposed to provide a list of specific recommendations and a quote to address them and was due to be received in 2-3 days. Were approaching 2 months and, with multiple follow ups on our part, dont have it and do not expect to ever receive it.We had an expected issue with line of sight to one of the ductless heads for the new heat pump. No knock at face value, but the issue was substantially worse than expected, and the communication around that was essentially non-existent. Instead of You have to hold the remote up high, it became You have to hold it up high while on the top of a ladder. We had a solution planned that solved both cases, so this didnt have to be a big deal. Unfortunately, there was no indication that it had went from Important to do to System is functionally unusable until you do it without so much as a word spoken about it. Its solved, but it was one of several communication misses. I discovered it when I went to turn on the unit in there and had to go fish a tall step ladder out to do it.We followed up on both of the above cons about two weeks post install. I received a response that varied between what amounts to Your fault not ours (my words, not theirs, but thats what it amounted to) and Ill have to look into that since we dont do that kind of work anymore (the kind of work they were late estimating for us). We provided requested feedback a few weeks after that and got an email from Steve Moore the next morning saying he thought there was still room for communication. OK, I responded indicating that I wasnt sure whether there was anything to discuss if they didnt do the work anymore and the other issue we had already resolved, but that open to that if he thought it would be a productive use of both our time, and provided two time windows I could be available. No reply. I followed up again a week later to see if he was still interested in that chat - again, no reply. I guess he wasnt... ;)The Neutral:The jury is still out on the design. The most core item being addressed seems to be doing great. The question mark is elsewhere and is based on things Ive learned since the install. I dont pretend to be an expert and knowing for sure will take both more information and some time, so dont treat that one as good or bad - just unknown)

I recently had Moore Mechanical replace my two gas furnaces. Vince Meyer was very helpful in helping me correctly size and choose the appropriate systems. He was responsive to my nearly endless questions. They also help me select whole house air purifiers and installed them simultaneously. The crew that installed the systems worked very hard under less than ideal circumstances. It rained constantly and the crawl space was a muddy mess. They were neat and clean and left my house in great condition. I enjoyed having them in my house ( how often does that happen?) Finally, they were very competitive on price. I highly recommend them.

These guys are awesome. They put in our new furnace back in 2011. They came out today just for maintenance and an air purifier upgrade.The pricing is fair and Jesse was honest, upfront, polite and got along quite well with my husky.If you want quality work, call them.Just as an aside, the city permit inspector whom signed off on the new furnace asked who did the work. He said and I quote “Moore is definitely one of the best outfits. They do good work.”Call them, you will not be disappointed, misled or overpriced. They offer good service for a fair price.

AC unit stopped working so I called Moore Mechanical to determine what was wrong. Jesse their technician very quickly identified the problem and advised me of the problem and the cost to make the repairs. He had all the parts and got right on it. A few minutes later we were up and running. He continued to check the unit and recommended one more change which he told me up front the cost and added another part. The technician was clearly knowledgeable. He was thorough and when he found the issue, he did an excellent job of explaining why it was the issue and showed confirmation the component was bad. He repaired it right away, which means he was stocked.It took over 2 weeks before they were able to come out because they are so busy but Im very happy with the end result.

Overall they provided a very good product and service at a fair price. I was pleasantly surprised when they contacted me to say I had a free inspection due to my recently installed split system, something I was not aware of but was apparently included with the purchase of the original install. I agreed and a date was set. I was told the technician would arrive between 8 and 12 that morning, and I would receive a notice when the technician was on the way. I waited all morning, no notice, and no technician. Finally he arrived mid afternoon, I did not receive a text nor a phone call alerting me that he was on the way. He did his job and left. He seemed thorough and professional. Before he left I asked if he needed me to sign anything. He said No. So, I signed nothing in regard to his visit.I did not score 5 stars for the following reason; At the end of the day I checked my email account and found an email posted that afternoon from Moore Mechanical saying the technician was on his way. Unlike some people who have their noses stuck in a device all day 24/7, I do not. I have better things to do other than constantly monitor my computer for emails. I check emails first thing in the morning, and again after dinner. I go about my day doing more productive things. In this case I was expecting a telephone call alerting me the technician was on his way, not an email notice. So, in that regard there was a breakdown in communication as to when the technician was going to show up.Last; Moore Mechanical sent me an invoice by email as a result of this inspection visit. It showed a $179.00 service was performed for free. Okay! At least I received in writing that I owed nothing for this inspection. The invoice included more than one page of legalese describing contractors licensing laws, and language stating that I understand these laws and inspected the technicians work at the conclusion of his visit. The form said I agree the technician did all service and repairs in a correct and professional manner. I then see what appears to be my signature at the bottom of these documents, dated the same day as the inspection.For the record I did not sign that form. It appears to be an electronic signature transposed from some other document I may have previously signed years ago back when I first purchased the install. I dont necessarily disagree with anything stated in the recent invoice documents, but I did not sign anything for the technician, nor on line, as part of this free service offered by Moore Mechanical.Im not saying that I dont appreciate the free follow up inspection to their equipment and work... I Do! What Im saying is that is not my signature on their invoice. I did not watch the technician every minute as he went about doing his task. He spent about a half hour, inside and out, doing whatever he was doing. For all I know he could have been eating his lunch. I had faith he was doing what he was supposed to do, but did not watch him do it.I will definitely use, and recommend Moore Mechanical in the future. I feel they are a good company, and did a good install of a good product for me. I do suggest to them they use a different notification system to alert customers the technician is on the way, and to acquire a real customer signature at the time of service when documents need to be signed.

Moore mechanical tech said the circuit panel is fried, need to replace. The quote was over $1k to fix. Called a different HVAC company for a second opinion, they charged me $145 and said someone else had turned the internal switch to the heater in the off position, which is why it would not turn on.Moore mechanical is a Scam!!!

I own the house where this company has installed the heater. I called upon then to fix a furnace issue. they diagnosed it as a flow pressure switch and charged me $125 for diagnosis fee plus part and labor to actually fix the problem. The same problem is happening again within 60 days and when I called them to come and look at it, they claim that since its outside of their 30 day period, they will charge me $125 again to diagnose. I think its a very unfair policy and I am not happy with their approach. As a customer I rely on them to get help especially for the things they fixed which is not working again. I request company management to think from a customer point of view too.

I reached out to three HVAC companies before Moore. Two of them refused to even attempt to replace my heat pump on top of a Condo building because it was hard to get to. The other one gave exorbitant pricing. Vince came out and knew exactly what needed to be done and gave a reasonable quote that he walked me through. Heat pump replacements are expensive but it was still almost half the price of the installation from the other company.

They know their stuff very, very well. Kevin Bradley and team did an amazing job installing whole house humidifier at our place. Kevin did a thorough walk through, suggested us the right humidifier, the team installed it very, very professionally. They made sure everything worked perfectly with our two Nest thermostats, thoroughly tested the entire system. They even stopped by later to do adjustments and fine tuning. Last but not the least, they charge a very very fair price for the kind of quality work they do. We shopped around and interviewed a few HVAC companies before hiring them; no one even came close in terms of the knowledge and professionalism.
