Today I had my quarterly visit with Dr. Pitta for my bad knees. He is an amazing Dr. as he listens and explains everything clearly - the good but also will be upfront about possible things that could happen after knee surgery. I appreciate him for his direct, but sensitive manner. He is calm, knowledgeable and also very empathetic. I trust him to handle my knee surgery completely.

Dr Farac was very patient and listened carefully to the issues with my knee. He reviewed the X-rays and was concise in diagnoses. Fortunately I would not need surgery. He administered a cortisone shot and provided care instructions. Overall I was very impressed with him as well as the joint and spine clinic and their staff

Matthew Higgins Is hands-down, the best physical therapist I’ve ever had . I have a long history of back and neck surgeries. I’ve been doing physical therapy for over 20 years and the results were never satisfying for me. And now, I’ve never Felt so good, because my spine health has improve in a very noticeable way thanks to Matthew. He has been my physical therapist at Monterey Spine And Joint Center for about a year. He helped me before and through my pregnancy And now in my postpartum. Other than being a good physical therapist, he’s a very good person that you can approach and talk easily about all your Health issues or concerns, and he’ll find the best therapy that suits you and I can promise you you are going to get better.I have no doubt that every person that does physical therapy with him it’s in good hands

Today, my phone call was taken by the most amazing person. Kassie went above and beyond, and then some. I have never dealt with such an outstanding employee at any other doctors office. More like most of the establishments Ive ever been to. Thank you Kassie for doing what you did to help me today. Im not exactly sure what her specific position is, but she needs a promotion. Thank you again Kassie!!!

I was very happy with my experience at MS&J. Dr. Meckel took his time, answering all my questions and concerns. He put me at ease and I feel comfortable going forward with surgery. His medical assistants were friendly and attentive. I later called the surgery scheduler to ask a question and she got back to me quickly.

Every staff is always cordial and professional. Dr. Pitta is the absolute best in his field expertise. My hip replacement was flawless and smooth with no complications. Ive personally recommended him to a number of my age peers (Im 75). Best group in the business!

Having a needle injection for my hip was a scary moment. Dr. Gularte was gentle and I felt so much better! I’ve seen him twice and so appreciate the instant pain relief. He’s always smiling and has a terrific “bedside” manner. Highly recommend him.

I called to reschedule my appointment. I was unable to reach anyone. After several tries I left a message and was never contacted. I finally had to drive to the facility to reschedule. I was then told that the reason was because they had transitioned to a new system. I asked why I hadnt been notified and was told that there were too many people that would need to be notified. What!!!??? In this day and age where you provide them with your phone, text numbers and email addresses, they cant notify you!!!??? I was pissed!Several days later I went online to check for documents and records only to find out that I couldnt get into the patient portal. I called and finally was able to speak with someone and was told that that part of their system had also been changed. I asked if my information was transferred over and she told me no that it couldnt be done. I asked what the new system was and how to access it and she said that she didnt know and transfered me to a voicemail of someone she said could help me. I have yet to hear back from that person or anyone else. Monterey Spine and Joint should be ashamed of their lack of planning and implementation of new systems and of staff training to address these issues. GET IT FIXED!!!

I just had my 1 year post op hip surgery appointment. So, I guess I am ‘done’.I want to thank everyone at MSJ for excellent care.Every thing is so organized. Everyone is kind and helpful. I would have to say that they made having hip replacement surgery about as ‘pleasant’ 😏🫤 as it can it.
