Highly recommend Dr Wardas services as an oral surgeon. I have been working with him for years, and each of his procedures healed quickly with his innovative techniques. In fact, I dont even use pain killer after the procedure. He has removed excessive bone growth in my mouth several times. His wife who also has a co-practice in the same office helped to set my bite so it was more even to minimize future bone growth. So far so good. I feel Dr. Warda is one of the finest periodontists on the West Coast.

I visited the Monterey Periodontics Center for the first time very distressed about my condition. I walked in flustered and nervous and I was kindly greeted by the receptionist who let me know my appointment was scheduled not then, but five hours later in the day! Not only was she and her co-worker understanding and friendly, they actually found a slot for me right there due to an earlier cancelation. What luck!All the staff smiled and eased my heightened anxiety.Upon meeting Dr. Warda for the first time, again I was treated kindly and professionally and the exam went smoothly. The assistant working with Dr. Warda was equally professional and calming, though I was quite frightened waiting to hear the final diagnosis.Dr. Warda explained his findings to me clearly and presented a treatment plan in the various stages, as well as recommending blood tests that would confirm or rule out an underlying cause for my gum woes. I felt he was truly seeking a cause not just treating symptoms. That made a deep impression.I hope all goes well for me and I feel confident that I am in good hands. I highly recommend this office for anyone with periodontal concerns.

A very professional, caring, and attentive practice. I had a dental emergency and was in a lot of pain. I was in town on business. Even though I am not a regular patient Dr. Goldman opened an immediate slot for me and identified the root of the pain, addressed my needs and managed my discomfort. Best dentists I’ve ever been to. Dr Warda was the first dentist who really showed me how to brush my teeth correctly and Dr Goldman did an amazing repair on my broken crown. They are very talented and educated dentists. I think it’s quite rare to find such high level of skill and dedication. My father was a dentist and I am a physician if that help give my opinion some credibility.

I feel like I’m in such good hands with this practice! I recently had very involved gum surgery that included the discovery of a bad infection under one of my older implants. Dr. Warda was terrific throughout. I had my second follow up appointment today and we are both very pleased with the results. He took photos during the surgery and at the follow ups, and they were fascinating to see. I loved his detailed explanations of the work he had done as we looked at the photographs together.

He and his staff, Karen, Laura, Sandra (to name a few) were also very sweet, kind, very professional, courteous and very efficient. While his office is quite busy, they don’t seem to overbook which means you get seen at the time of your appointment which is great since our time is just as important. My husband is also seeing him for an implant! They have state of the art equipment and up-to-date technology. Their office is clean and very comfortable. One day, I left my toothbrush at home so I could brush at the office and they were quick to give me a replacement so I can brush there. (This is just a sample of their many attributes). I absolutely love this office! You will not receive better care anywhere on the peninsula! I used to get my teeth cleaned at my normal dentist but I was never really happy with the cleaning. I have been seeing Debbie for several years now. She is both gentle and thorough. I never feel rushed and she is very knowledgeable about oral care and hygiene. I used to dread getting my teeth cleaned but not anymore! I also had an oral surgery here a couple years ago. Dr. Nattkemper did that surgery. He was very competent and very kind and professional. The office staff are warm and friendly. In my opinion, there is no better place to go when you need a periodontist or a simple cleaning.

Ive been seeing Dr. Goldman at Monterey Perio Center for some TMJ issues Im having. She is fantastic! From my first appointment, there was noticeable improvement in my pain. After the second appointment, my pain is mostly gone and were now working toward making sure it doesnt come back. Dr. Warda and his team are so very professional, very kind, explained observations and procedures thoroughly to a novice like me. They do excellent work. I have suffered from a constantly infected tooth. I was terrified to get it pulled and tried everything to hold onto it. When I met with Dr. Warda, he walked me through the process of getting an implant. I feel comfortable and that he has my best interest in mind. The day the tooth was removed, I immediately felt relief because it was constantly bothering me. The removal was so easy and smooth. Dr. Wards is a pro! Since then, we’ve taken gradual steps to prepare for the implant. He’s always working carefully with my schedule, my insurance, and with my dentist. I’m pleased to be referred to him. I arrived to Dr. Warda on referral by another dentist with a triad of issues requiring special knowledge. After an unhurried introduction, the specificity of the questions Dr. Warda had proved he had done a comprehensive review of the materials provided by the referring dentist and of my history of the issues. He listened to my answers and asked follow-up questions.He did the exam with this context in mind and explained any word I did not understand.He agreed with the referring dentist about the extent and implications of the problems and explained what we could do to address the problems in the best order for the best results. He didnt overpromise or claim it would be easy. He emphasized that a good outcome would require my compliance and patience.He asked his RDA to stay for the explanation of the medications and at-home instructions and encouraged me to call if I became confused once I had begun the at-home procedures. I have found Dr. Warda and his hygienist to be very competent and meticulous. My biggest complaint is how much they charge for everything. I have had two other Periodontists in the past, and Dr. Warda’s charges for teeth cleaning and exams are at least 20% higher. I go in four times a year, which comes to $1000 a year. (I don’t have insurance because it doesn’t cover most periodontal work.)If Dr. Warda comes in during my cleaning, I get an additional charge for an exam. This has not been my experience with the other two Periodontists I went to.

I have been in the care of Drs. Nettkamper and Warda for several years now.My periodontal health has improved enormously, and their star hygienist, Debbie Fosdyke, sees to it that it is maintained with most professional, thorough cleanings. The business staff is great, too!I had wasted a lot of money before getting the deep treatment needed and that lacked under regular dental care, just aggravating my gum problems, because the real problem was not addressed as it should have been.Updating this review today, I would like to add that the office is sparkling clean and scrupulously adhering to all Corona Virus precautions.The entire group, Dr. Warda and his team, is cheerful, courteous, efficient and most professional while maintaining a warm atmosphere of genuinely caring for their patients.They also maintain a wonderful rapport with your regular dentist, sharing findings and treatment reports.I highly recommend that you take your periodontal health care to where it will be maintained at the highest levels.Barbara Darrah

I had my three month cleaning today and was very impressed by the advance in the improvements made in the equipment used in the process. The normal scrapping on each tooth was replaced by a procedure that thoroughly cleans around each tooth and gum. I went to Dr. Sherif Warda for the first time this week to get a periodontal checkup as I was referred to him by another dentist due to his expertise in this field. After going over a proposed plan to get a periodontal deep cleaning, I felt very lucky to have been referred to a dentist that seems very knowledgeable and made me feel very comfortable.His front office staff were also very helpful and were able to get me in the next day to take care of the first half of the deep cleaning I required.Kelly (the hygienist) performed the deep cleaning and she was both very attentive to my needs as well as making it a pain-free visit.I would highly recommend Dr. Sherif Warda as well as his staff if youre looking for an dental office that will make you feel comfortable and take care of your dental needs.

Its only natural to hate dental work so you may procrastinate out of fear of whos doing construction in there as well as the pain factor..GO SEE Dr Warda, he and his entire staff are the very best. There is no pain during procedures you may even nap a bit...its like you take a pill check your face in at the desk and they get it all done while your gone. My silly fear was not being in charge of myself while on the medication for relaxation, I found that was not an issue at all, I felt comfortable the entire time.

Periodontal maintenance is not totally fun, but its a very calm office and Im sure theyve saved some of my teeth. You step in and they go to town and educate you as to how to improve your home care of your teeth, based on the issues that they discover. It is all science and I have a lot of trust in all of them, there. Obviously, Dr. Nattkemper is a neat guy, but I mainly deal with the maintenance crew, and office. As I do grow old, Im sure hell lay his hands on me, but I do trust him.

Cant say enough good things about Dr. Nattkemper as a dentist. He makes difficult procedures nearly painless. But my experience with his practice was definitely not good.Specifics: I agreed to a procedure based on a cost estimate provided by his office. The procedure went fine. The estimate was wildly incorrect: the final fee was about double the estimate.This is not a professional estimate. It was, at charitable best, a wild guess. If a contractor did this it would be called bait and switch.I understand how dealing with insurance companies is difficult for everyone. But there was a one month interval between the time Dr. Nattkemper provided my estimate, and the date of my procedure. This was more than enough time for Dr. Nattkempers staff to contact the insurance company and verify what they would and would not pay for. Dr. Nattkempers staff did not bother to do this.Very unprofessional, and not what I would expect from an otherwise capable dentist.Robin White.
