Huge shoutout to Michael, our property manager for almost a year, for helping with our lease! He’s always been so communicative, kind, and quick to address any maintenance problems we had. Move in and move out process was also easy thanks to him. Looking forward to coming back to the area for potentially a vacation rental in the future!

We stayed at the Daffodil House in Pacific Grove 19th to the 23d May. Michelle was great at arranging the rental and keeping us informed. I didn’t need to do any chasing. This is the second property that the company manages that we have stayed in. They are very clean and well appointed. Would highly recommend.

We had the best experience in our VRBO! It was so beautiful we never wanted to leave, and the host made it and easy and seamless experience. We stayed here with my parents for my moms 70th birthday. The house was tucked away in a neighborhood but perfect proximity to downtown, beach access, and still quiet and a perfect getaway. Waking up to the view every morning was unreal. 10/10 Would recommend!

Stayed at a property in Carmel managed by Monterey Bay Property Management. My experience with the property manager, Kyle was so-so. I reached out prior to our stay via email and phone and asked for an urgent response. After figuring out the answer to my question on my own, I emailed again (prior to hearing back) that I had figured it out. I received couple days later and Kyle was unaware as to my second communication so it just seemed a bit disorganized. No biggie.Upon check out, as a courtesy, I emailed Kyle that we had left the property around 9:00 AM so their cleaners could get in the property (in the check out notes they state that they appreciate any help as they often have same day reservations). No response, no thank you message for being proactive. The only message Ive received since is an email soliciting a review... so here it is.With all that said, the property was excellent and we had a great stay.

Monterey Bay Properties is the best! When my mother retired to a retirement home, we needed to rent her house. They have been timely, professional, responsive, and extremely easy to work with. They vet all applicants which is completely reassuring and we have not had any issues. I would not work with anyone else. I highly recommend working with them either on the landlord side or the renter’s side.

Excellent property management company that looks after the welfare of both the landlord and the tenant. They have a very good screening process that selects the best property to rent and the best potential renters. They took their time to find good renter for my property. I didnt mind the delay as they found a renter who has been paying on time every month. This is critical for someone like me who lives out of state and cannot personally screen renters and collect on a monthly basis.

I very recently moved to the Monterey Bay area and, due to some issues, had to deal with 4 different property managers within a 2 week time period.Of those the only one who went about their jobs professionally was Kiersten Burritt at Monterey Bay Property Manager, she is absolutely first rate-she even went out of her way to resolve a couple of issues for which she had no responsibility and continued her first rate professionalism even though my eventual rental was through a different company.Im a tough (but fair) grader (20 years working in Silicon Valley in management roles does that for you) and Kiersten exceeds 5 stars in the way she handles her business. How about 7.5 stars?

They coordinated all of the necessary repairs and improvements; all carried out in a very swift manner. We are VERY satisfied with the information and service received by Michael at Monterey Bay Property Management. We recently stayed at Capurro Ranch at Moss Landing, and a few questions arose as we arrived at the property. Michael was very easy to reach, and immediately came up with an easy resolution when the door keypad was not working properly. The stay was very comfortable and we did not need to contact Michael again until an event out of their control happened, and we were evacuated by the local sheriff. We were able to get in touch with Michael at 6:30 a.m., and he was in constant communication with us, offering alternatives for our group in case we were not able to return to the area. Very impressive! We were able to return to the home in the evening after participating in all of the local plans that we had already made in advance of the evacuation. Other than the unplanned pack up and leave, then return later in the day...the vacation was a gem! We plan to come back every year to celebrate birthdays again.

We used Monterey Bay Property Management for two rentals on our recent trip to the area. Both Kyle and Debra manage amazing properties that we found to be exactly as advertised, if not even better. The booking process was seamless, and all information was delivered to me for check-in at the appropriate hour. Supplies expected were all provided (linens, dishes ...) and the quality of everything was excellent. Top notch communication and above and beyond service. Kyle was clear and upfront about possible restrictions when booking a future stay in the midst of the pandemic. He provided timely updates and reminders as we got closer to traveling. Requests for support during our stay received immediate responses and supportive offerings. Upon departing my 6 year old daughter noticed that her beloved stuffy was missing. We were already at the airport and had returned the rental car. I reached out to management staff and they were amazing! Within 1.5 hours they checked the place, found the stuffy, and delivered it into my daughters arms at the airport. We were thrilled! Then I stumbled across Cloudy Bay Cottage on the Monterey Rentals website. What a gem! Kyle made the process so easy. He was friendly and responsive and made it so easy to book the property. The check-in/check-out instructions were clear and they have help on standby if you need anything during your stay. The property was well stocked and the pictures were an accurate reflection of the property we rented. We had a fantastic time and would absolutely rent from Monterey Rentals again. Oak knoll Cottage is a beautiful modern yet cozy vacation home. From the beautiful kitchen to the master suite it was very comfortable . If you walk to the top of the backyard you can see the ocean. I had hoped-for a cleaner area for our dog to play but it served its purpose as the top area has been left in its natural state. We loved the squirrels running around the trees teasing our dog and even the possums were a site to see.. At night you can hear the gentle hooting of an owl outside the master suite and during the day many beautiful birds come to the front feeders. I recommend. Monterey rentals for all your abnb needs. Everyone is friendly and accommodating.

We stayed for a week at a property managed by the Monterey Bay Property Management in Pacific Grove. The place was immaculate when we arrived, and while I seldom have a cause to contact owners or managers, this time there were a few glitches that popped up and Kyle immediately arranged to get them fixed as quickly as possible. As well, we used the 24 hr phone line to call for help with turning a pilot light back on, and again, the help was immediate and friendly. If I had one quibble, it would be that owners often have a folder with personal info on how the appliances work, their favorite places to eat or walk etc.; while there were brochures in our rental, I did miss that folder!

People lie to you and waste your time and give you the run around! If you talk to one person at this location make sure you record the conversation because that whole team will all stick up for eachother and give u the run around! If you don’t have over a 700 credit score also don’t apply they don’t want to talk to you or deal with you! If people all had over 700 credit scores they would not be paying your ridiculous over rent prices and just buy a house! Don’t you think ? Either way save your time rent else where!

We were very pleased with our Pacific Grove rental experience. Kyle Burritt provided clear instructions before our arrival and again a few hours before ‘check in’ so that the information was readily available when needed i.e., no fumbling at the door looking through a month of emails or texts for the entry code. The unit was just as described and much to our liking. We had no issues and no reason to contact Kyle – and yet he checked in, via text, to be sure we had no questions or concerns. It was a smooth reservation and stay. I will certainly look to rent from Monterey Bay Property Management in the future when we visit the area again.

Ive primarily mediocre to poor experiences with property management companies and rental home owners over the past several years, and Monterey Bay was a breath of fresh air.Our houses point person, Michelle, sent very helpful information leading to up our stay, providing full details on check in, check out, maintenance, policies, etc. Most importantly, we had excellent service during our stay when we ran into a few minor issues (carbon monoxide detector beeping, water main leaking, and getting locked out of the house). Their 24/7 maintenance is the real deal, with Shane answering the phone every time I called (no back-and-forth voicemails) and resolving the issue within 15-20 minutes.Dont hesitate if youre considering one of their properties! They are the real deal.

They had the pick up and drop off of the keys simple and no contact. And during our stay, we had 2 issues and they responded very quickly and resolved it the same day. We rented Oak Knoll Cottage for the month of August 2022. Problems the 1st day with window that wouldn’t stay up/secure and blinds not locking on raising. Our property mgr came right over & sent over a maintenance man. He was unable to fix either (window is unsecure) & told mgr that window manufacturer and blind manufacturer would have to repair/replace. That was over 20 days ago with no action. Then our Mgr called up for military reserve duty. We called “24 hr maintenance line” 3 times in the past 3 days over two new issues. Man answering listens but does nothing. Right now Aug 23 we have NO hot water from the tankless water heater. We’ve called 2 times today asking for a plumber/repairman. Supposedly we will get a plumber late today to “look at it.”We cannot recommend this rental management agency.

Loved our 6 month rental from Monterey Bay Vacation rentals!!! My husband and I stayed in a beautiful cottage in Carmel by the sea for 6 months in 2016. While I was living in Canada, Kyle Burritt of Monterey Vacation Rentals went out of his way to find the perfect rental for our 6 month work contract. The rental was as expected from the website pictures and description. If there were any issues or problems, which were minimal, Kyle assisted us immediately. Kyle Burritt at Monterey Bay Property Management was very helpful in finding the right home for our group to rent. The home was very clean, well maintained and extremely comfortable - not to mention beautiful and well located for our event. The customer service during the reservation process was timely and efficient. My one small issue was with the actual property manager not calling me back. Turns out the garbage cans were almost completely full and/or inaccessible. Being a very large group, we had lots of recycling, which we had to leave in bags next to the garbage area. We were charged extra for the disposal of these bags. I twice called the property manager later to explain and never received a call back. That being said, I would highly recommend Monterey Bay Property Management! Its not often now a days that you get such personal service when looking for a rental home.

We stayed at Bayview Cottage and Kyle was our agent. The house was perfect for our family and dog. You have a nice view of the bay, walking distance to Cannery Row, and a short drive to everything else. My wife is a travel nurse and her contract was cancelled unexpectedly. Kyle went above and beyond to make sure everything worked out for us! Would definitely recommend for other healthcare travelers coming to th area.

Stayed at The Gratitude Inn in Monterey and had two issues (code didnt work at check-in and the iron & ironing board were missing). Response from the 24-hour Maintenance Man was instantaneous! Jan and her team are excellent. Shortly after signing our contract with them, we ran into trouble with the planning department of the city of Pacific Grove. Spanning the better part of a year, Jan personally stood up for us on multiple occasions in the planning department meetings and finally in a meeting of the City Council, and, as the direct result of her organization and diligence, was successful in convincing them not to force us to tear out what was more than $75k worth of renovations to our home.
