The entire team is awesome, they are professionals with a modernized and caring approach. Everyone is prompt, courteous and friendly. Kids are always noticed happy and smiling before than ever. If you miss or change an appointment it would be your loss to get back quickly, we have always found alternative appointments at their Monterey location as well and weve been there a couple times due to a scheduling conflict with kids school and availability. Overall very very pleased and highly recommend this practice for what they provide.

I needed to get braces for the second time for not wearing my retainers. I went around asking for a quote on them. And everywhere I went was expensive for my budget, intill I came across MBO Orthodontics they were able to get me a good price for my braces that was within my budget. Iam very happy with them every time I go in for an appointment their staff is very friendly. They are always asking to see how iam doing with my braces and if I have any concerns they always answer any question I have.

What a great office! From the moment we walked in (today was our first experience) till the moment we left, each and every staff member was phenomenal. Very organized with their intake process and patient flow. The Dentist was kind and informative of our sons care plan. The atmosphere was super cheerful and each patient looked happy to walk in. We are super happy to we chose MBO. Highly recommend!

My 2 kids started at the salinas location,2 yrs before their treatment ended we moved out of state for 6months, we returned to California and doctor Christwell took the back, now both my kids are done with treatment, I love their smile everyday. Their office is very beautiful, inviting, and clean and my son loves the fun SF Giants theme color they have going on. We have had very pleasant appointments and I can assure you will too!Dr. Criswell takes passion in what he does and he creates beautiful smiles, he makes sure to motivate my teen son to be a part of his treatment so that is goes smooth. My son has never felt so calm at a dental office and his treatment has always been explained well. One fun thing we saw at my sons recent appointment was special announcement and clapping to a patient that was walking out as he had completed their treatment and getting his braces off that was pretty fun to witness and I can’t wait for my son to experience that! Up to date I’ve had nothing but an amazing experience with Monterey Bay Orthodontics. At first, I was hesitant to start my ortho journey but the staff at the Salinas Monterey Bay Orthodontics made everything for me so much easier. Appointments have been super easy to make and every staff member gets to know you. I would highly recommend this place for anyone interested into getting ortho treatment. I’ve had braces for around 1 month and a half and I love the results that I’m seeing. Am nothing but excited for the final day.

Beautiful and clean kid environment. Our first encounter and meeting of the staff and doctor /dentist was amazing! They made myself and my boys feel comfortable and confident in the treatment plan. I’ve waited a very long time to fix my smile and finally begun the process. So far the staff and Orthodontist, at MBO, have been amazing. I have felt comfortable from the start, and they are very gentle. I recommend them to anyone who has been waiting for the right time to fix their smile, there’s no better time than now. If financially you feel limited, MBO works with you and allows payment plans. I’ve been going to the office in Salinas, but I imagine they are just as professional and have great customer skills in all their other offices. I give them a 10/10.

Every place for braces seem about the same price wise for braces, so I am happy with Monterey Bay orthodontist. The office is pretty. Ive forgotten appointments and they have been easy to reschedule. They are easy to work with and have always been helpful. They do an occasional movie day where your free to go to the movies for free with them. They offer 5% off if your able to pay in cash and i think its 3%if your able to pay with card in full which can be helpful. Overall happy with the experience. I have 2 kids that I have taken to them.

I’ve had braces twice so I can make a pretty fair review. Their services are okay, they have qualified orthodontist, a clean work space and parking is alright. Plus the dental assistants are hillariously entertaining. However, braces are expensive! It doesn’t matter where you go, you will find yourself paying a lot of money therefore I feel like it’s important to choose people you want to work with and choose a place you like. I find myself feeling a bit annoyed with a couple of things here. Firstly, to me communication is important. I contacted someone with a question and haven’t heard back yet, it’s been four days. Because of that I called to ask my question and the receptionist had an annoyed and passive aggressive tone. As a customer I’m going to have concerns sometimes and I need my questions welcomed, to have my concerns answered because I pay a lot of money. Annoyed sounds tend to make people feel like they’re bothering. I felt like I was bothering her. She did give me an answer but she also brought my mood down because that isn’t a proper way of working towards a solution.Additionally, their equipment can be painful the first time you go. That’s not a new thing, at my old place I also found braces pains. However their equipment hurts more on the first visit. Lastly, their rubber band selection isn’t the greatest. The colors are just unflattering. If you’re big on expressing yourself thru your smile you might not like that either.

Dr Criswell is a genius. He has an intuitive sense of the jaw anatomy and has been an amazing orthodontist. It’s always a pleasure to come to the appointments as he has a ready smile and always has an answer to my questions. So besides being pleasant to work with, he knows his craft. I was originally receiving ortho care at a different office, after being there for 2 years I realized they did not know what they were doing which ruined my smile. When I went to Dr. Criswell he agreed to take over the care, but we had to restart with everything and I’m glad he did. I’m super happy with the outcome!
