Modernizing Medicine CEO and co-founder Daniel Cane said, Its becoming increasingly important to run medical practices as business. Subsequently, dermatologists, gastroenterologists, ophthalmologists, orthopedic surgeons and others require technology that understands their unique needs and helps them increase practice efficiency and improve patient outcomes. Cane also places emphasis on structured data that can be used to improve patient outcomes and surrounding himself with talented teammates. The number one reason people hear about us is word of mouth from other doctors,” continues Cane. “There is no question that EMA saves me time,” shared Daniel T. Stein, MD, of Coastline Orthopedic Associates, located in Fountain Valley, Calif. “I can see twenty new patients and be done one hour to an hour and a half earlier than in the past. If I consider my time saved, that equals to saving over $125,000 per year.”

The EMR for dermatology has a lot of good features like patient and biopsy site photos, not too difficult the learn so Im giving 3 star instead of 2 starThe drawbacks are:The company charges extra fees for Path reports to be directly entered into the systemPharmacy refill request and pharmacy interaction are not user friendlyThere is no place for referral or primary care doctors (there is supposed to be a database, but you cannot type in a doctors name)Labs cannot be entered directly from Quest, have to be scanning and manually attached by handMy main problem is with customer support:customer support is limited, calling random people on the phone who just want to hang up we will get back to you but they never docustomer support someone is working on thatcustomer support we will send you a link to help solve that and the link is their general help websiteit can take weeks and DOZENS of phone calls/emails before solutions can be found. My customer support rating is a ONE star
