I love everything about modern aesthetics! Dr. Anwar and staff are wonderful! the office is beautiful! Dr. Anwar professionalism and knowledge puts you at ease. I’ve had two set of sculpture with PRP injections, Botox, and the new Tixel (TMA). I live in Monterey county but will travel to Roseville for all my future treatments (trust me, i have been to a lot of doctors and injectors in Monterey county and Dr Anwar is worth traveling to see) i can’t wait for my next treatment!

I think Dr. Anwar is the best injector in the area. I only trust MDs because its your face, you know? They have good specials and you can pay ahead and save some money, the prices are still the best in the area last time l checked. When l went this week, l did have to wait for nearly an hour past my appointment time, and he seemed like he was in a hurry. Maybe overbooked for that day. The only negative l have to say, is they strongly suggest paying in cash, (cc service charge) and when l paid for 100 units last time (900$), she didnt have it on my account that l still had a 50 unit credit. She knew l wasnt making it up, but it was still awkward. Thats pretty sloppy accounting, so get receipts or evidence if you pay ahead.

Very disappointed! I dont usually leave bad reviews, but this time I had to. I went in for a TIXEL treatment around the eyes as a model. When I got in, the lady that applied the numbing cream told me that the treatment normally costs $800, but because I came in as a model, there is a $150 fee. This wasnt mentioned in any of their appointment confirmation messages or anywhere else. Anyway, I chose to do it and pay the $150. The gall that did my TIXEL treatment was in training and Dr. wasnt in the room when she performed it. After I got home, I was able to see that my under eye area was barely touched by the device, and that only one very small area under my eye lashes was treated. So I messaged the office asking Drs opinion, if this is how the treatment was supposed to be performed. Again, this treatment was supposed to be for the whole periorbital area (upper eye lid and under eye area). They responded by saying that they look forward to seeing me for a second treatment when they have the machine, and that would cost $499. I never got a clear answer from the Dr. about how my treatment was performed. They thanked me for my feedback and that was it.I am definitely not going back due to their lack of professionalism and communication.

Worst experience. Charged my mother and I over 4k without evening showing anything on paper first. The worst part is the filler did nothingExtremely disappointed after spending over 4000 and no results. I HAVE A HUGE BRUISE UNDER MY EYE AND ITS BEEN OVER 2 MONTHS.Shame on you!! I was skeptical to get my lips done in fear that they would look unnatural. However, Dr. Anwar gave me the perfect natural lips. Dr. Anwar and staff provided me the exact experience I’d hoped for. With just one visit he was able to create more the facial balance I wanted and reduce signs of aging. He honestly and thoroughly analyzed my skin and made recommendations to meet my goals. They offer a variety of packages which are highly competitive in pricing. I’ve been receiving injections for 15 years and been to several top facilities. Having some to little luck, I have been wanting to find a home for all my skin needs. Dr Anwar exceeded my expectations!I was somewhat apprehensive about lifting my jowls with a thread lift but he put me at ease and did an excellent job!I’m not a fan of too much filler and the threading was able to do just that! There was no bruising and no pain! Dr Anwar is gentle, always explains what he is doing and has a good bedside mannerI am very pleased with the results and highly recommend Dr Anwar for all facial needs!

Dr. Anwar is the only Doctor I trust for lip filler (or any filler). I’m left with very natural results and no bruising! His prices are definitely the best around, one of the very few who hasn’t upped their prices. His his office is very elegant and classy and the staff is great. I’ve gone to Dr. Anwar about twice now and he is absolutely the best. I’ve done my lip fillers twice with him and my smile lines and have received excellent results each time. My first time going to Modern Aesthetics was a little nerve wrecking but Dr.Anwar is so kind, polite and very informative regarding the services and educates you on what’s going to happen and thoroughly explains after care instructions and what the process will be like so there is no surprises ! His staff is very nice and has excellent customer service as well and it’s always been a pleasant experience coming here. I’ve been going to Dr. Anwar for the past year, and can honestly say the experience I feel at this office is by far the best every time I go. Everyone is amazing, compassionate, caring, and very knowledgeable.I currently am getting the PRP eye injections to help with my eyes, and every time I get the injections I feel like “liquid gold” has been injected around my eyes. This process takes a series of injections, and not one and done, but can say over time, with a total of 5 series that I got each after every month, I have noticed my eye area become firmer, less dark, fine lines diminish, and younger!If your considering any dermatology treatment, I would recommend this office. You would leave feeling the best with the well rounded care that is provided here at the office.

His consultative skills are superb - he’ll talk to you and assess your preferences and goals and treat accordingly and more importantly transparently.There’s no hard sell here or anyone who will try to make you self conscious to push you into more services. The entire staff is wonderful and supportive. My face looks really well balanced, wrinkles gone, and my massater Botox is holding off my headaches and slimmed my face out nicely.I’ve also gotten laser hair removal here and the tech is a sweetheart and knows how to work with brown skin tones. I went to this office for counseling and told the doctor that I also need Botox. During the conversation doctor filled the syringe and did Botox for me before we talk about how much untis I need and the price. I just asked him how much units do I need and he answered 28 units. I walked out and the I paid 40% more than I expected. I even told them to ask the doctor. Doctor confirmed he did 46 units. It was unexpected as a first time and still I see the wrinkles on my forehead.

I came for a consult for under eye filler. It was for only the outer orbital rim area. The rest of the filler went to my lips since they don’t do half syringes. When I got home I realized that the area I wanted filled was the same. I called and I went back the next day for a follow up. Dr. Anwar told me he couldn’t do it because it’s not an area that can be filled and he couldn’t take my money. I was very confused because I don’t know if he even realized I was there the day before for the same thing! I feel mislead. I don’t understand why I was taken as a client the day before for this specific area. I had a very specific concern that apparently now after paying for filler, it can’t be filled. I basically spent $600 for lips and filler somewhere in my cheek when I didn’t even go for lips or cheeks in the first place. I feel cheated. I did call and voice my concerns and was told I would be contact by the end of the day. They never called. I completely understand If I wasn’t a good candidate for it but I don’t understand why the day before I was lead to believe it could be done. I never would have spent $600 if he said what he said during the follow up, after he had already taken me as a client. The picture was taken the day after the procedure right before the follow up.

I have had work done before, but I will be returning to modern aesthetics. Dr. Anwar is amazing at his job! I got filler in my smile lines, and lip filler. I walked out there looking 10 years younger. I feel great! And he won’t give you more than you need, he won’t try to over sell you. He takes his time, listens and gives you what you’re looking for. Really disappointed with my experience. Dr. Anwar told me I would need a certain amount of Botox but walked out having to pay about 40% more than what the doctor told me I needed. I know things can change during the process but he didn’t say anything to me during the process. I reached out for an explanation but got no response. Not a place I will return to for services and wouldn’t recommend to a friend.

Wow!!! I am amazed by the results of my hydrafacial with Rachael. Stress has really aged my skin lately, but after my hydrafacial I am feeling SO MUCH BETTER! Not only did it deep exfoliate and remove the dead skin, but the boosters I got added so much extra hydration, my skin has STAYED plump and juicy for much longer than I was expecting. I went to Dr. Anwar yesterday for Botox and was very very happy! I’ve always had wrinkles on my forehead (I’m 43) and have had Botox for them many times. None of the med spas, plastic surgeons or dermatologists that I’ve been to have noticed or told me that the skin on my forehead was too thin! Dr. Anwar noticed it right away!! He told me, due to my thin skin I have more lines and rippling! So now he has me on a path of skin care to build up my skin and possibly do laser if the skin care doesn’t give me the results I want/need. I’ve been to med spas and wasn’t happy because they have a sort of “herding cattle” type operation. I feel like their business module is quantity not quality at the med spas! I loved the time Dr. Anwar took with me (and my friend, we went together). He explained things very well and was very driven to get our face to look our best over time, not just inject everywhere and send us on our way! He has my business from here on out!! Also his pricing is great!! I pay the same amount at a med spa to see a nurse and never have a doctor consult me on my face overall!! I’d rather pay my money to see an actual doctor!! I went in originally for a PRP as an under eye filler but after being assessed by Dr. Anwar, he suggested filler(s) for structural reasons. I felt incredibly comfortable with not only Dr. Anwar but also his beautiful wife that assisted me with checking in and filling out my forms. I am so glad I visited Dr. Anwar for my first filler experience. I wanted 1cc of lip fillers, and he truly listened to me when I asked for natural. I am beyond thrilled with my result, I absolutely love my lips and I smile at my reflection now! He made me feel safe and comfortable right away. Whatever happened to respect and politeness?I had a consult for laser hair removal. I had already informed them that I had hyperpigmentation from a previous attempt at another place. The doctor kept asking for the name of the place that had caused the pigmentation/scarring. I recently went to my 4th laser appointment in their new facilities! Not only is the facility clean and follows covid guidelines, but it is also very cute and decorative. I was running a little late due to the weather and they were still able to help me. They remained communicative throughout the process because I was running late. Dr. Anwar is amazing! I have been his patient for many years and drive quite a distance to see him. I have very thin, sun-damaged skin that makes me a difficult patient to work with. I’m also very picky. Some treatments just don’t work on me because my skin is too thin (ie fillers). Dr. Anwar is always honest with me about what he thinks will work versus what won’t. He is always looking for something new to try. The PDO threads have been miraculous! Very dramatic results, and my skin is actually building collagen again and getting thicker. The fine lines are so much better. Botox also works well for me, and Dr Anwar always does beautiful work there too. Looking younger, but also very natural is my goal, and Dr Anwar excels at this. I was going to wait until after my follow up appointment to review, because I plan on getting more juvederm at that time. But I was so impressed, that I decided to review now, I got 1 syringe of juvederm in my lips about a week, ago. Ive had fillers several times, done by other doctors. Dr. Anwar used a different technique than the doctors Ive been to in the past, and I must say, Dr. Anwars technique is far superior. I had absolutely no bruising. Not a mark. Ive literally walked away from previous injections looking like I got kicked in the face and this time was nothing like that. In addition to a complete lack of bruising, I had hardly any swelling. The little bit of swelling I did experience subsided within 24 hours. Now, at about a week post-injection, I have a subtle plump to my lips, Dr. Anwar actually managed to even out some natural asymmetry I had. Something that I really liked about him was the fact that he didnt at all product push. He wasnt all about getting more money out of me. I say that because I went in there saying I might want to get 2 syringes in my lips. He injected one and then respectfully declined the second one, explaining that doing 2 in one visit could potentially cause lumpiness in my case. Ive struggled with lumps in the past, so I really wanted to avoid this happening again! He said hed like for me to come back in 2 weeks for a follow up and we could add more at that time, with better results. So, I really appreciate that he gave his honest opinion of what would be the best course of action, rather than just jumping at the opportunity to use more product, potentially trading better results for more money in a single appointment. I really feel like there arent a lot of doctors out there these days like that. I fully trust Dr. Anwar now, Im glad I found him, & Ill definitely be seeing him again next week!

My mother has been to Dr. Anwar twice. The first time she visited him back in November 2020, she got Botox on her forehead...but he made it where one eyebrow was much higher than the other. The second time she went a few days ago, the first thing he asked her was about her budget. Not understanding why he doesnt just tell her how much a unit costs, my mom said $300... he immediately took off his gloves and in an angry tone he told her to leave and come back when she has money. He then sat with his legs crossed telling her how he went to medical school and worked hard to be where he is today. My mom wouldve had no issue paying more if he was upfront with her on how much he charges per unit. He was rude and unprofessional for no reason. During my visit at no point did I feel pressured to do more than what was needed. I have been going to Dr. Anwar for the last 2 years. I have gone to other medical spas for botox and filler but have realized that I get the best results when I am treated by him. He is obviously passionate about what he does for his clients. He has an extreme amount of knowledge on facial muscles and anatomy. Every time I come in he is up to date on the latest esthetic treatments. He is conscious of comfort and pain during treatment. I was very anxious about the discomfort of receiving filler but his technique gave me minimal discomfort. For my experience, he is one of the top providers for botox and filler. Also I appreciate that he is conservative on the amount of products he uses. I didnt feel like he intentionally tried to put a lot of product in my face rather he used what he felt was necessary for the results I wanted. Importantly he listens and does his best to make my vision a reality. I have referred close family and friend to him. They all have been very pleased and will sometimes drive all the way from the Bay Area to be treated by him. The last time I was treated by Dr. Anwar he injected filler under my eyes. It did not hurt at all, no swelling and 2 months later I still see a dramatic difference. He also has a wealth of knowledge on hormone therapy.

If there was any way I could give this place and the doctor (who never failed to remind me that hes a physician over and over) a 0, I definitely would. This place is claustrophobic firstly, so if youre looking for something spacious and breathable, this isnt it. My friend had booked me a Hydra-facial before my wedding and I was not able to do as much research about it as I wish I wouldve been able to. He was extremely condescending when asking about if I even knew what I was getting. When asking about my skincare routine, I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable about it. I contemplated several times on whether or not, I should just get up and leave. Also, when asking questions or getting clarity, he asked do I have any more questions that I already know the answer to? This was my first time seeing the doctor. He was professional, personable and extremely knowledgeable.I went for under eye filler. He asked what my expectations were and what I was looking for in regard to results. The fat pocket under my eye was slipping as a result of my age. He explained his process as well as a more invasive process including surgery that he could refer out.I asked some follow up questions. He was extremely honest on forthcoming as the what I expect my results to be. He told me that for my particular situation, I would be looking at anywhere from a 30-50% improvement with fillers.He even went as far as suggesting that I research the surgery and possibly sit on it before deciding if I wanted to move forward with the fillers. That was huge for me, he is not in it for the money. He could of told me what I wanted to hear, charged me and sent me on my way.Instead he was patient, I was not rushed and did not make me feel like I had to decide on the fillers. That speaks volumes about a person and their character. He could of told me I needed 19 products, 3 syringes and I would have believed him. We all get caught up wanting magic and he was very straight with the facts and results.He also went on to tell me that there are so many other contributing factors that contribute to the aging process. Sleep, hydration, stress. He was interested in educating me, not just fixing the problem I presented.I decided to move forward with the fillers. He totally undersold the positive impact. I had it done this morning and I keep going my the mirror and I no longer can see that line under my eyes. I am so very pleased with the results.There is a entire wall of products in his office. He never even mentioned purchasing anything or what he suggested for maintence. I know you all know what I’m talking about. Erika was amazing. I had tons of clogged pores, she clean them out by doing a hydro facial. The receptionist was great too fitting me in last minute. I’ll be visiting the girls at modern labs again the next time I’m visiting.
