I am beyond grateful for Elbert and his team at Gelatotech! They are truly lifesavers! I have an iPhone 12 Max Pro that had growing cracks on the back, especially near the camera. I thought I had to live with it because I didnt have reasonable options (I used tape!). Elbert was quick to pick it up (same day), replaced it perfectly (with a spare back that I had), and returned it quickly! The whole process was effortless, affordable, and professional! Im so thankful they provide this valuable service! I cannot recommend them enough!!

I just got my phone screen replaced in literally less than 20 min. I called around 2:30pm and he was at my door by 4pm.Dropped my phone on Christmas Eve but have been hella lazy about getting it fixed and today was finally the day. I accidentally left my water bottle open inside my backpack while traveling, and it damaged my MacBook inside. Fortunately, I discovered Gelatotech and contacted them to repair my computer. Elbert promptly responded and arranged a convenient pickup and drop-off appointment. The repair process was smooth and hassle-free. To my surprise, Elbert and his team were able to fix my MacBook on the same day! Im really grateful for their outstanding service, and I wont hesitate to use them again in the future.

If I could give this service a 10, I would! In San Francisco from Cincinnati on vacation and my son drops and chatters his cell phone screen. The phone was barely usable. I communicated with Urban from the reds Giants game on a Friday evening around 9 o’clock. The next morning we confirm the details and made arrangements to meet so he could repair the phone. For $160 the phone was repaired in about 10 minutes, Urban came to our hotel, he was friendly, professional, and on time! Again if I could give him and this service at 10, I would! Definitely recommend!

Elbert was on the pricier side of what I saw quoted, but its hard to overstate how great this was. My phone was extremely dead, and not only did Elbert fix it, but he was done within a couple of hours with a major repair.As I said, it was a little pricy but it was well worth it. everywhere else talked about several days to fix, while Elbert got it done in a few hours. And he picked it up and dropped it off.10/10, while I hope I never need his services again, hes going to be my first choice.

This service is incredible. I loved using the Google Maps chat feature to communicate. Elbert showed up on time, and completed his work flawlessly on my Pixel/Android. Phone repair places are a dime a dozen these days, and Ive found that most of them either have difficult people to work with, are impossible to schedule with, or way too expensive. Elbert will literally drive TO YOU and fix your phone IN HIS CAR, and hell do it in record time.If I can go on a bit of a tangent: I think were all getting tired of being pressured into tipping at every single transaction these days. What can I say Elbert’s service was amazing better than any other phone repair company I have went to. To start off he was really fast in responding back to me to request a screen repair so that’s a plus. He was very professional, quick and efficient when fixing my phone it literally took him less then 15 minutes to repair. Since getting my phone fixed I haven’t had any problems so am happy about that. Also keep in mind Elbert is mobile so he can drive to you like how great that sounds. Therefore if you ever need your phone fixed no matter what’s the problem hit up Elbert you wont regret it. Great service and I will definitely come back.

Very happy with my phone repair by Elbert! He was very responsive and set up an appointment to come pick up my phone and repair it within 2 hours of me reaching out. I had extensive damage to the backglass of my iPhone XS Max and some cracks in the front screen as well. He repaired them both in 2 hours and then tested out the repairs with me afterwards to ensure everything was working well and that I was happy. I hope to not need his services again, but if I do I would definitely use him for future phone repairs!

I contacted Elbert last night and he returned my call for help this morning. We arranged to meet this afternoon and I couldnt be more pleased that I called him. I needed a new battery for an older Pixel. He arrived at the agreed upon time, gave an estimated time frame for the work, and delivered right on time. Elbert was professional, thorough, friendly, and a pleasure to deal with. He explained all of the work he did. (Im not very tech savvy, so this was much appreciated.) Elbert is the best there is in the San Francisco area, hands down. I had a flight at 9am last week and broke my phone the day before my flight. My phone basically had no touch sensitivity which made me anxious because all my information and trip info was stored in the phone and I had no access. I called Elbert all desperate hoping he would fix my phone the next day before my trip. Sure enough he got back to me and agreed to meet before my flight at 7am (outside his operating hours.) Within 15 minutes he was able and to get it fixed. I made my flight and was able to use my phone. The screen is top quality and I will continue going back with Elbert! My brothers iPhone 12 was not turning on this morning, and we had gone to the Apple store and our providers store to ask for our options. This phone did not have its data backed up, so we mentioned to them that it was most important we get the data recovered. They sent us to another service that would have cost us thousands of dollars (their estimate) to recover the data.After some searching online, I came across Gelatotech and gave them a call. They thought it sounded like a battery problem, and said they could come and drive to my house in 15 minutes. Elbert showed up and immediately gave his guess and took the phone to open it up and check it out. Turns out it was a faulty battery! He replaced the battery and repaired the phone in under 30 minutes and it works great now.Elbert was extremely helpful, professional, and knowledgeable about the entire process and I very highly recommend him for any iPhone problems you might have. Save your money from going to apple, and call up Gelatotech instead!

I contacted the company on Memorial Day because it had the highest reviews and they happened to be open. They are fully mobile and really do come to you! I am glad I didnt wait to do my phone repair because Elbert mentioned that since my phone was overheating, it would have damaged internal parts if I hadnt done it quickly.From the first phone call, Elbert was extremely responsive, professional and knowledgable. I wasnt sure what to expect but he was super fast, and so far my phone is fully functioning after we decided that the best route would be to have him replace the display with an original part.I highly recommend Gelatotech and if I ever need repair services, they will be the first ones I call!

Late last night I got back to SF from a biz trip, and have to fly out again tomorrow, so I was stressed out as my phone wouldnt charge and just before I lost battery at 630am I requested an appointment online, and within minutes, so early am, he texted back and was here a few hours later at my door ! My old Iphone 6S was not holding a charge, but the phone works fine, so I needed a battery change. I work in the Fillmore, and no one close that I can conveniently go to.I found Gelatotech online and found they had a menu of services performed at my location and to fit my schedule. I scheduled for the same day, just 2 hours ahead, and Elbert, the technician calls me in about 10 minutes. We decide that he can come sooner. Hes super nice, and changed the battery in 10 minutes, then tested the phone performance. He only has aftermarket home buttons. It wasn’tnot told to me until the second time he had repair it. He told me the motherboard in the inside and the screen would need to be fixed. He gave back my Phone UNFIXED. The Apple sign was stuck and he left it up to me to fix it by telling me to attach it to my computer or go to Apple. None of these options were available to me so I came back to him like he suggested. After fixing the problem we scheduled for 3:30 to drop it off. I asked him if I could get a $20 discount because I was short for my asthma pump. He remained unresponsive and so I told him that I could possibly get then money, then responded immediately. It took longer than expected so he rescheduled to drop my phone off at 7:30. I had to catch a flight soon so he accommodated and brought it earlier. I ended up having an asthma attack because I decided to pay for my phone instead of my asthma pump. That’s when he told me that my button was not completely fixed and that I couldn’t use it anymore. After a few hours, he started an outside conversation with me asking me if I made it to my flight, what was I going for, what was my race, possibly trying to get to know me or something… three weeks later after I came back from my flight I told him that I was very unhappy because I did not approve for the aftermarket pieces as well as it still being dysfunctional. He simply just told me that he told me so. I decided to just rule it out as a misunderstanding. I had inquiries about the inside and the outside the phone, he left my questions half answered and I had to keep asking him. He eventually tried to call me to tell me what work was done on the phone. I was not available so once I seen the message I asked him if he could tell me via email. He has been unresponsive ever since. My home button presses at random times and I have to go to somebody else to fix it now. In addition to everything he delivered he really kept miss-spelling my name during the conversation, which I find disrespectful

I went to the Apple store in Union Sq because I jumped into a hot tub with my phone and accidentally plugged in the charger without letting it fully dry. Thought Apple could easily fix the issue (the screen went crazy and then blacked out, but I was pretty sure it was still working - would vibrate when plugged in, toggling the silent switch would also vibrate it).Apple refused to fix it because of warranty issues or some other invalid reasons, and just wanted me to buy a new phone. Dont do business with these people. All they do is fix your screen and your screen will be all botchy and will not be fully fixed. I have fixed my iPhone multiple times here and the last time the screen was in great condition, the screen gave out after 8 months of use. its poorly done so dont trust them. Each time I fixed my screen from them it cost $168, this time they raised their prices and claimed that they cant fix it for FREE and instead they will offer a discount so the price will be $170. DONT support this business.

I spoke with a Gentleman /Techincian by the name of Albert who helped a great deal with my BlackBerry Key2 Limited Edition Cell Phone. Albert gave me a quote 60.00 cheaper than everyone else I called for a quote. Albert fixed my phone at my job in 20min flat! And he was on time!!! Ima just start by saying the one star is for the guy being friendly and that they come to you to fix your phone. I cracked my iPhone screen but everything worked perfectly, the screen was just broken. I call these guys up and they came to fix my screen and they did, my phone looks good after they change the screen but he did some thing to the camera for my Face ID wouldn’t work anymore. He tried to fix three times but the Face ID didn’t work. He ended up just saying to take it to apple and that they’ll fix. Like he didn’t even offer to lower the price knowing that he did something to my iPhone that wasn’t right. I’ve fixed my other phones at other places and this never happened, so I won’t recommend this place to anyone, look for better service else where.

Loved the fact that they come to your house to fix the devices. The quality of the product no so much. Fixed two phone screens and two ipad screens.- First Phone: After the fix, the phone started shutting off randomly, gave it back and it turns out that they damaged the charging port while replacing the back screen. They fixed that for free. a couple of days later the screen gave me a long white screen and then went dead- Second Phone: yesterday, about 2 weeks after the fix. Same exact things as the first phone, screen defective. On this one the screen wont work- first ipad, second day the touch screen died.Talked to the owner and he said that the product he offers has no warranty. Offered to replace the ipad screen and asked me to pay for the phone screen.Bottom line, stick to apple for your service.
