We met Josh this morning with Moat Pest Control. He was so kind. He did a very thorough job with indoor outdoor and garage spraying/ web clean up . We have had other pest control who just zipped through in a couple minutes, but Josh was different. He took his time. He listened to our concerns. I like the fact that there is no contract with this company. If I feel they are not doing a good job, I can cancel at any time. However I do not see that happening. Very impressed and looking forward to continue to work with them.

MOAT saves the day ! I had an army of Argentinian black ants invading my home .“Josh “ showed up the very next day by noon to exterminate them . He was friendly and provided 5 star service that was cost efficient!!! I enjoy supporting small businesses that are local to my community. Finally I found a pleasant, reliable and thorough Pest Control Company. This has been a chore finding someone good. That’s why I needed to share my review. Highly recommend MOAT for your home termite inspection and I will use him again. He did an pre-purchase home termite inspection for us on a 1964 home in Sun City/Menifee. He was responsive from quote to completion and his service fee is very reasonable. Arrived on-time and completed the inspection timely including the final report.

Ever since we have been receiving services from Moat at our home we have greatly decreased the amount of unwanted critters in and around our home. We have been with them about one year now. We had a severe giant ant problem outside and after they sprayed it once they literally disappeared forever. We had been trying for years to get rid of them before Moat. The Summer of 2023 was the first summer since 2017 that we did not experience the insane amount of ants all summer long as we did every year. The ants would get all over everything and sometimes bite our dogs. We couldn’t enjoy much time outside but this summer was so nice, completely giant ant free and far less spiders inside than we typically have. Very minimal critters around the home they usually are dead outside and rarely make it inside. Yesterday they came by and without any prompt Josh knocked down a few hornets nests outside, saving us the trouble of doing it ourselves and possibly getting stung. Super happy with their services. They are reliable and professional. Will continue to give them my business.

As a real estate agent, I work with trades all the time. A very poor and disappointing experience. I called for one time service to spray for an outdoor ant problem limited to the backyard. Moat has a guarantee of 30 days if any ants return. After their first spray the ants were still there, fewer in volume but still there. So Moat comes and sprays again. I assume there remains a 30 day guarantee for a basic outdoor ant problem, but worse yet the ants not only hung around after the second spray but then appeared in the house in the upstairs bathroom shower. Oddly I recall the Moat sprayer asking me at the first visit if we had them in the house as they tend to pop up in bathrooms. The Moat sprayer seemed very familiar with this type of ant as well, actually describing it. So the problem not only remains but is worse with the ants now in the house and outdoors and we keep both yard and house very clean. So what has happened here is I paid for nothing, zero, the ants always remained and the problem is actually worse with the ants appearing inside the home where the Moat sprayer said they could appear. We are actually managing the problem on our own and much better than Moat did by regularly inspecting the areas and using over-the-counter Raid. I have also learned how to stir the ants up where they seem to like to be and then I zap them with the Raid.

When he came back a few months after I moved into my house he fixed other termite and dry rot for free. He painted after and it looked identical. He was on time responsive, honest, and fair. So I called Moat Pest control to help us out with a VA Termite inspection. Jason was responsive and got us on his calendar within days, which was awesome. Even though in the end he did find some areas that needed repairs, he provided a quote for the repairs that was reasonable and a timeline that was great.The repair team showed up, and performed the repairs and we cant even tell where affected areas were.Our experience overall was awesome and I would recommend them to anyone who needs a good honest termite inspection.

I highly recommend Jason Moat and his company Moat Termite & Pest Control. I first met Jason when my realtor recommended his company to do the termite inspection for a new home I was buying for my family. My realtor is one of the top producers in all of North County San Diego so I trusted her recommendation. Jason did a very detailed inspection of the home. He examined every nook and cranny ... even the tightest crawl spaces and attic spaces. He discovered every issue and then he rectified every issue. I was so impressed that I hired him to maintain my house on a monthly basis to be pest free ( termite free, ant free, rodent free, fungus free, etc, etc..). Once a month Jason always shows up on time and on schedule. I own a very large home on a very large property and Jason keeps it free of all pests 100% of the time. He is very thoughtful and careful about how he applies chemicals and traps/bait stations. He makes sure that my family is very safe from any possible exposure issues. Jason is also an incredibly friendly, caring, and genuine person. He always has a happy, positive and welcoming attitude. I am sure anyone who hires him will be a happy with him as we are. A+++.

My family and I highly recommend utilizing Moats services!! We bought our home in June 2019 and started noticing a flea issue arising in August 2019 due to the dogs next door (we only have an indoor cat who is treated for fleas and bathed monthly). We tried all the at-home sprays and natural remedies and nothing worked. We were desperate to get a handle on it as we have 4 young children. Fortunately, the previous owners had utilized Moat for termite services and we gave them a call to ask about flea treatments. Jason was so professional, gave thorough explanations, and provided an extremely reasonable quote for both flea services and quarterly pest control; we instantly felt confidence that his company would provide quality service at a very fair price. And we were not disappointed!! Brandon did an impeccable job spraying inside and out and we experienced immediate relief from the troubling fleas. It was miraculous!!Both Jason and Brandon came again this morning to do the 2-week follow-up service on our home (that comes included with the flea service) to make sure weve officially rid our home of those pesky bugs. I ve worked with Jason for years. He used to be with another company. But he did so well and was so popular he was encouraged to start his own company. Since then he has been able to meet the needs of his clients in such a way to save them money in finding termite evidence, finding dry-rot, and finding any other damage. He scheduled an appointment the following week and the technician arrived on time, was professional and completed a thorough inspection. Upon arrival they where honest and told me the house they where inspecting was going to get marked for dry-rot on front porch roof eave and asked if I wanted to cancel. I went through with the inspection to ensure I knew all necessary repairs, then had a re-inspection. These people are genuine and honest! You cant put a price on that. They were amazing! We had never had termites before, and had so much anxiety over finding them on our walkway. I emailed them and they were so responsive, within a few hours I had an inspection setup for that week. They did the inspection, fully checked all areas and identified the problem areas. They were very professional, explained the process, uploaded the documents so I can esign and not have to print then sign and scan to send to the mortgage company. I was in need of fumigation for termites. In doing some searching for someone local I found Moat termite & pest control. Jason was able to come out the same day I called for an inspection and to discuss fumigation. We highly recommend Moat Termite and Pest Control for you pest control needs. We discovered we had a mouse problem and other than setting traps we didnt know where to begin to fix it. I called Moat Termite and Pest Control to have them come out and evaluate our situation. Jeff came out the same day and spent about an hour going over possible rodent entry points with a fine tooth comb. After his evaluation he gave us the advice we needed to resolve our problem. That was about a week ago and we have not seen any evidence of a problem since. I highly recommend Moat Termite and Pest Control for any rodent problems you may have and would expect that all of their services are just as professionally rendered.

Jeff was the technician who came to do the pest service. Even though it was a terribly hot day, Jeff had a smile, was polite, and listened attentively to what I asked him to do, and not to do.When Jeff told me he was finished with the service, I remembered that the tree in the backyard was usually a haven for ants. I was just going to let it go till next time, but Jeff said he would go back and check it out. Not only did he affirm that the tree had ants, he went back and treated the tree.I was very happy with Jeffs work and would gladly have him complete my pest service next time!

One of the best highly recommend Termite & Pest Control. After relocating to Menifee I was experiencing a sever attack on my house of Ear Wiggs. I was killing at least 50 Ear Wiggs a night before Moat Termite & Pest Control took over. Jason is highly skilled and knows exactly what hes doing to eliminate the problem 10 fold. After 2 treatments I now see maybe 5-10 dead Ear Wiggs laying around the house. This company is Military Friendly and is more than welcome to figure out what needs to be done without bleeding you for your wallet. I highly recommend this company if you are thinking about a Pest Control service for your house. I am a brand new customer and I am 100 % satisfied with Jason work and always being there exactly when I felt like I ran out of options to contain the situation. Definitely a 5 Star + in my books.
