Literally all of the good reviews are lies. Ive never stayed in a scarier hotel in my entire life. The human trafficking is so completely rampant and obvious. The management knows about it and allows it happen. All night the small parking lot is constant traffic coming in and out with scary shady dudes, and half naked girls running all around and standing on the corner outside to bring them in.The hotel rooms dont seem as if theyve been cleaned AT ALL from when the last *ahem* patrons stayed. The people cleaning the rooms are actually men which makes me think even the owners know that its not safe for women to be cleaning and working there. There was bright red hairs all over the hotel room. Everything was so dirty. There were cockroaches. I was so scared we stayed out until the sun came up and FINALLY all the creeps went to bed or left. I wish we had the money to stay somewhere else. If youre into this kinda thing this is the place for you, but if youre just a couple or a family traveling STAY AWAY. The room itself felt like it could be in the move Saw.

It is not as it appears in the photos in an ugly and dirty place, we asked for more towels but they told us that the laundry is not working so we do not have clean towels. The rooms smell of cigarettes in a non-smoking place!! lantv does not work, they said that the technician is not here, in short it is wasting your money in a dirty place and for the money you pay it is not worth it, apart from that they charged me an extra 74 dollars.

This spot is ALWAYS my go to when you know to. In a pinch? On a budget? Usually has a room for the night, and the price is just right. Andy is always friendly, helpful and the times I have been here, nothing but respectful. The area is a bit hood, but if youre on your game, then staying here or at a Hilton can end up with results just the same 😉. Dont be fooled. This is a prime spot, and Im surprised it doesnt have more fame!

The manager is amazing and very kind check in was so easy. The room was clean and comfortable. We never had to ask for clean towels, sheets or any other amenities that come with staying at a motel and that was because of Jesse. I have stayed in many so called 5 star hotels and I have NEVER received such outstanding service as we were given by Jesse!!! He is an asset to this establishment and its customers!! He truly is a wonderful human being and deserves a raise! Thank you Jesse you made our stay so amazing and we will definitely be returning every time were in town.

I enjoy staying here because of there prices and service and housekeeper well respected and excellent service and very comfortable and clean and secure and the parking lot is inside and clean and secure. They are very reasonable and honest and fair with the price and the policy of mission motel is to make the customers satisfied and enjoy their stay and comfort. I highly recommend it to everyone and youll love it and come back again. I been a VIP customer for more than five years and never had any kind of bad experience or any problem with my stay here.

When I booked the reservation, I was a bit skeptical but upon arrival I was very impressed. They were private, discreet, and very very clean. My mom who hates everything even liked it to the point we stayed an extra day. Even the staff was nice. We had a nice time there and it was very convenient to everything. I was not disappointed at all. I will recommend anyone staying there again.

This motel is very comfortable and is nestled in the heart of Lynwood, Ca. Ive stayed four days so far and it is so quiet, I feel Im the only person around. The staff here is very conscious about respect and unless you need something, you do hear or see them. My room is fitted with a microwave and a small refrigerator which I find perfect. The room Im in could use a tiny amount of work, however, the room is clean and has a great air conditioner and/or heater. In my opinion the Mission Motel is perfect because of the staff and location. A great place to stay if your sight seeing or visiting family.

This place is amazing. The price is pretty decent and you definitely get what you pay for. Ive taken a trip to the beach every summer for the last 2-3 years and I always come back to this motel. Its small and cozy, its usually very clean. I only give 4 stars this time because there was a mess left in one of the drawers this time. Other than that small issue Ive always had a great experience here and would recommend it to anyone.

Surprisingly decent. I didnt know the area when I booked it and couldnt get a refund so I stayed. Looked a little sketch when I got there, but they have good surveillance and 24 hr attendant in the office. The other guests and people I encountered were very nice and respectful. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. Was perfect for a one night stay 20 mins from LAX.

Didn’t stay here. Made a booking the day before and called the place to confirm if we had the option to check in at a later time rather than 1pm and there was no flexibility. Could barely talk to the guy on the phone, and when I tried to explain the situation further he hung up in the middle of my sentence. Save your money and time elsewhere. Waiting on a refund 7-12 days now.

I needed a place to stay on short notice and Andy set me up within 30 minutes. Its an older place, and the neighborhood may be too rough for some people. The room was clean and a good size for the price, as it was basically a small suite -- living room/kitchenette, bathroom and bedroom. I didnt have high expectations, but neither did I find any faults. The staff was friendly and prompt. If I need a cheap place to stay and dont care that much about extra comforts or fancy frills, I would definitely stay there again.

The rooms are perfect size, clean, looking good, I dont watch TV so I cant say anything about it. But everything else you may need is great. Nice people at the front desk. I stayed for 3 nights with my wife. Plus there is an amazing taco place in the corner (king taco)

Not a bad place to rest. You can get toilet paper and towels from the staff with no problem. The price is cheap and the quality is a lot better than most hotels in the area. Parking is a bit tight but other than that its all good. Plus you have a 24 hour laundry mat right next door, tams burgers one block away and the 105 freeway on the block after that. I am definitely coming back to the mission inn

Dont come here your car will get stolen and staff wont do anything about it. They let stragglers trespass and wont say anything. While staying here my car was completely stolen next day. Staff barely knew how to work there cameras to see what happend. Staff showed no compensation still requested us to checkout after car was stolen. Worst hotel ever.

If you pay attention to all the 5 stars reviews here, you might find something weird that a lot of ppl only have one review. According to my experience, it means the rating might be fake.Bad customer service, the Indian owner was rude to me.The room is okay but the whole neighborhood makes me feel really unsafe. The door of my room is really thin, and I can clearly hear the noises outside.I do not recommend this place. Although its cheap, I dont think its worth sacrificing your safety and the trip qualification bc of the price.

From the looks of this place before going in, i said to myself, huh! But when i pulled into the parking lot, i was like, OK! Nicely put together, clean and enough parking. I can do this! This place is the best to stay and affordable and respectful and loyal with their service. The owner of this place is the coolest and loyal fair and knows how to treat and make the customers happy and want to make you come back and treat like a member of his own family and that name of the mission motel is nick. The rooms and staff and maintenance workers are excellent and honest and there clean and safe. I love to recommend MISSION MOTELto everyone. I am currently staying at the motel and i can say it is very lovely! The staff is wonderful and they always ask if you need services or any more toilet paper and towels. The rooms have been remodeled and it is very clean. You have Direct TV with alot of channels, mini fridge, a/c and free wifi what more could you ask for for the price would definitley stay again!

Mission Motel is always nice when I stay there. Ive been there several times. I am.quite a regular. The property manager is always nice. He builds a great rapport with the guests. The hotel is in a great location by the train station, many eateries and shops.

The outside may scare people away but dont let appearances fool you. I am always scared of bed bugs and this place is free of them. Clean room and we got greeted every morning. The lady who checked us in didnt seem as friendly as the guy but maybe she was tired. Im not complaining as she wasnt rude at all. The only thing I would suggest is the chair in the room should be covered with a plastic cover just because if how many people come through. The towel rack could be changed too and not many channels but I mean really we paid $44 a night through priceline. Of course you get nicer rooms the more you pay but all youre doing is sleeping there (if youre on vacation). If youre worried about neighborhood, dont be. I have a 10 month old and we came out alive! Joking! If youre not walking around neighborhood you will be fine and really its not that bad. This is the place to stay hands down! You save so much on your room. If Im in the long beach area again or close to, Im staying here.

Booked a room through air b n b. When I pulled up to the place I was concerned about the area looking a bit run down. Truth is this place is safe and ducked off with enclosed parking for guest. Because the property is enclosed I felt safe, and decided to extend my stay. Rooms are very clean. No bugs, no mold... things u might expect in a cheap motel. It was suprisingly comfortable. The staff is nice and works hard to keep the place clean and comfortable for guest. Because I was transitioning to L.A. I needed a place to stay for a couple weeks for cheap, and this worked just fine. Queen bed, TV with cable, A.C. mini fridge, microwave, bathroom, desk. Yeah the carpet is maroon, and the desk has no finish, but its just fine. I am super picky and always read reviews, but never write them. I figured with how smooth and comfortable things were at this place they deserved a good review. If you need a cheap place to stay, wanna be safe, want something clean and have decided you can do with out the posh hotel, go for it!

I have stayed here many times and found it to be sufficient, especially for the price. However.... Last weekend I had a booking there to visit my son in L.A. but he got a positive COVID test so I had to reschedule a week. They not only refused to reschedule for a week later, but kept the money from the date I couldnt stay because my son had COVID.... I hope they enjoy the money theyre keeping, but wont get any more from what was a loyal customer.

I had no problems with this motel other than the faucet in the shower not being secure. I went to pull the stopper for the shower and almost pulled the whole plumbing out of the wall. Other than that its been good, not perfect but good. I would stay here again.

I have to be honest. I surmised it wasnt going to be much coming from a 2 star hotel and I dont really know how they get designated that rating. BUT... I still had certain expectations. As soon as we pulled in and parked the car, I knew we made a terrible mistake. My husband said, Why would you do this to us?, with a pained expression 😂. We had to check in through bullet proof glass, further proof that this place probably isnt the safest area. The person who checked us in was polite and nice enough, so that was at least a plus. The room was basic. It had queen bed (that was on the hard side), 2 pillows (that was extremely thin), a mini fridge and a microwave. The side table also has a lamp where you could plug in electronics and a TV (with a complicated remote). I called the hotel to ask for help and they hung up on me. Stellar customer service. The bathroom is tiny and the shower knob was in danger of falling apart. Shampoo and conditioner comes in packets, so bring your own. On the upside, the room looked clean enough, so I guess you get what you pay for.

Sister-in-law booked this place for us. We came from MN as first-timers in CA. Upon arrival, we noticed how rough the neighborhood was but we tried not to let that get to us. Once checked in (our room being the furthest back by the dumpsters), we were devasted. The room was crowded with only enough space to scoot by, and the hardwood floor was dirty. I decided to read reviews about the motel, and people have reported seeing cockroaches. Great! Just what I needed to hear. So I told the boys: Were leaving if we see cockroaches, dead or alive. Because of the dirty floor, we ended up going to Wal-Mart (about 4 minutes away which I liked) to buy flip flops to wear as house shoes. We could tell from our rooms battered window and door that it has been broken into before, so we also bought knives for protection, just in case. When we got back, I went to the bathroom and spotted a huge cockroach running around in the bathtub! That was it for me! We were supposed to stay 3 nights, but I called the front desk to let them know we were only going to sleep that night and leave the next morning. (I wanted to leave right away, but it was getting late and everyone was already tired after our 6-hour drive from Vegas). I demanded a refund for the 2 nights we will not be there, which the staff person willingly agreed to (only after I refused his offer of putting us in a new room). Because of the cockroach scare, we closed all our suitcases and bags tightly and had everything on the table/dresser. We even slept with the lights on. Despite the condition of the motel, the staff was friendly though, so I give them that. They also had a fridge and free wifi, however, the TV did not work.

I rented a room for myself and my eight year old daughter. When we got in the room it was filthy. The walls were dirty, the table was dusty as if it had not been cleaned in weeks. And to top it off the pillow cases had hair and make-up on them. Eeeew NEVER AGAIN!! I ended up asking for a refund and my money still hasnt been returned to my debit card.

I’m planning to give a good feedback to this place because we stayed here for a couple of days but it was a VERY DISAPPOINTING. We requested to clean our room once and that’s it, since we are pretty concerned of our belongings and we literally have plenty of things. We even asked the room service guy when is the usual cleaning service, he said whenever you request it. He was eyeing for the bottle trash, he asked if we’ll give it away and we said NO. So the next day, we went for a road trip, when we came back, everything’s clean - trash is out, new towels and beddings and so on. We rushed to check our things and sad to say one of the luggage’s were HALF OPEN and the bottle trash (since we recycle bottles) were also missing. For sure he went to look for whatever he wants to get. Why I say he? Because all of the room service crew were GUYS, no female. I don’t know why they allow this but it’s so sad that we can’t trust this place to leave our belongings. PLEASE PLEASE BRING YOUR IMPT THINGS WITH YOU. It’s okay to leave your clothes or whatever that’s not really important to you. Good thing we always bring our impt documents, money and everything.

It was ok..I had asked for a smoking room. Im disabled the room was upstairs. But the room I had had some awkward steps in front of the doors..outside of that, the room was ok. I had trouble entering/exiting the room. I paid $89.00. Anyway, I know what not to do next time, if there is a next time?

Ive stayed at this property several times and its always great however this last time we were placed in a room next to very loud unruly guests screamkng hollering and fighting. This is the wrost motel . I really liked it there Iv come here for years off and on for buissness in Lynnwood but they have really bad discrimination .I Was paying daily then on my 3rd day i was going to pay 30 min before my check out time for another night for them to only tell me that my room was reserved by somebody else and that we have to leave . Im latino i dont know what they have agaist latino but they kicked me off their property for no clear reason. No sorry or nothing they only told me my room was reserved and i had no other options. I did not make sense to me why my room had been reserved when the whole property looked empty .its not right and they pick and choose who they give rooms to .Very unprofessional i will never come back and waste my money here . i warn you they discriminate really badly.

My memories about budget motel in Los Angeles were terrifyng but something is changed! Mission Motel has been a good deal: the room was big and clean, the guy at reception has been very kind (he offers two bottles of water for free!).
