My son has ADHD and has been working with Rachel for a year and a half now and we continue to see a lot of growth and improvement with managing his studies and activities. Rachel is an expert in the field and is a wealth of knowledge. She has been a consistent support for my husband and I as we try to figure out the best way we can support our son. She is easy to talk to and always has great ideas and solutions. Rachel also has a wonderful way of engaging with teens and my son truly enjoys her as his coach. We are so happy to be working with her!

Jana was able to put an appointment despite a sudden schedule change and send the report to school the same day. She is very nice and patient to kids. Overall we had a great experience at Mind by Design.

My daughter with severe inattentive ADHD and anxiety has been working with Rachel Roth since the beginning of the school year. Rachel has developed personalized approaches that benefit my daughter at school and beyond. She has also helped my child become her own advocate in working with the teachers on accommodations and becoming more confident overall. Rachel provides a unique set of skills and expertise and has a good feel for what will and won’t work for her. Rachel has my child in control and responsible for her studies and assignments, communication with teachers, and overall academic progress which has had many benefits. Rachel’s highly personalized attention has been really effective for us and we are thankful to be working with her.

Molly was great and was very professional. Before our appointment, I was pretty insistent that I be able to observe Molly’s interactions with my little one (I had a previous bad experience), and Molly handled it like a champ. She was calming and very nice and we came up with a solution that put me at ease and allowed her to work with my daughter with no disruption. I would use their services again.

I highly recommend Dr. Jana Parker. She is extremely knowledgeable, caring and compassionate. As my daughter needed a cognitive assessment for one of the private schools, Jana made her feel relaxed and totally at ease during the session. She also went above and beyond in explaining us everything, patiently answering all of our questions, which also lead to a very positive experience. Dr. Parker even shared some useful resources and provided thoughtful recommendations together with the test results. Our experience was just amazing.

We had both of our children spend time with Molly to get a better view of their strengths and challenges. While our children had a great time with her, more importantly, we felt that Molly listened carefully to our concerns and questions to design a testing strategy for each of them that would help us understand our children the best. After testing, she was also fantastic in laying out clear reports on findings and helping us think through options to support our children based on those findings.

Dr. Jana Parker did the educational psychology evaluation for my daughter to discover how she learns and to see if she needed any learning disabilities diagnosed. I was impressed by her kindness first but also her professionalism. Although it was not required, she chose to check in on my daughters progress at her school and with the recommended specialists long after her contract with us was complete. I was very impressed by her skill and willingness to really get to know my daughter as part of the evaluation. I recommend her services whole heartedly.

Jana has been a blessing for our family. Due to being in the private school system, we needed to find someone to help provide a Psychological and Educational Assessment for our daughter who struggles with learning differences. Jana established a positive connection and support to both our daughter and us. She not only provided a thorough assessment, but also gave extensive recommendations on how to improve many facets of our our daughter and our familys lives. Additionally, the referrals she provided gave us access to coaches and therapists who have all had a positive influence on our familys journey. We cant thank Jana enough for being the catalyst of change for us.

As part of my professional role, I refer many private school families to have their students do private psychoeducational testing. While there are many options for families, in my extensive experience, Mind by Design is the best overall. Families who have been asked to support their child in this way are often a bit shell-shocked, trying to process that their child may have unique needs. The last thing they need is to be charged ridiculous amounts of money during their time of need. For many families I have referred, the astronomical price of testing has been a huge barrier, resulting in many, many students not ever getting the support that they needed to be successful. Not only do I appreciate the comparative value of Mind by Design, the personal touch, communication with schools, user-friendly final reports, and timely manner in the entire process make them my #1 choice for private psychoeducational testing. In fact, when it came time to have my own child evaluated, there was no other choice in my mind.
