Mike Thompson had excellent customer service from the beginning to the end when I bought my toy hauler from them.Marco, my salesman, was professional and prompt with responses even on his day off. He fielded ALL my questions with patience and kindness (I had a lot of questions)! He was kind enough to FaceTime me multiple times as I was buying out of state.Casey Horton, in finance, was more than helpful even after the sale and very prompt with responses as well. The pricing and contract was straightforward and easy with no extra haggling.Thank you Marco and Casey!!! You made buying a toy hauler from out of state stress-free and very pleasant!My interactions with all the staff at Mike Thompson was exceptional! I highly recommend them!

Omg I love my RV! This amazing company can be trusted. I bought mine and shipped it to Maui and I can’t even believe how beautiful it is. I got the solitude 2023 and I can’t say enough great things, Guillermo. Guillermo is even getting one of my fantastic Himalayan kittens. These are very rare, electric, royal blue eyed world, champion, lineage, Kingsley Kittens It’s so fantastic. Love him💗He is sofantastic, knowledgeable, and really funny. Joseph was also exceptionally great with education.. it’s actually really fun to go and check.it out ❤️

We only came to check out a Cougar 23MLE because the internet said they had one in stock. We were greeted right away by Tyler and Ashley who offered us a cold bottle of water. It was a hot day and that was appreciated. We were escorted to the one we wanted to see and it was the one we wanted. We have 2 small dogs and we really wanted a little more room just for them. They were very accommodating and agreed to remove the booth seats and table and ordered us a smaller free standing table and 2 chairs. This makes this the perfect trailer for our needs and a little extra room for the dogs and their stuff. We closed the deal and when we picked up the trailer, Michelle Wright helped us through all the paperwork. No high pressure upselling extended warranties, just presented the available options and allowed us time to review and make are own choices. Then we were off to do the walk through with Ralph Mitchell. He was great and patient as he explained every detail of the trailer and even gave us his cell phone number to FaceTime him if we have any issues or forgot something he explained. He took us to the service department and introduced us to the team incase we need service in the future and did the same in the parts store. Each department gave us a card from a deck they had on them. At the end they ask us to show our hand, and we had 2 pair and that got us a discount on our first purchase in the parts store. Everyone was kind, patient, and we never felt pressured at any time. Great experience and I would definitely recommend coming here for you RV needs. I will try to post a picture when the table and chairs come in if I can figure out how.Happy camping!

The salesman who is older than his hair dye should learn how to welcome guests & not assume anything. My Wife & I stopped to look 4 a new travel trailer & a salesman who took 10 minutes to come greet us & who never identified himself says, hello folks, whatre you looking for? This is red flag #1 for me as I was raised to introduce myself and politely ask the names of people I am meeting. I turn away & my wife is saying, Travel trailer and we have a Dodge Ram 1500 he then turns to me and asks, What Truck do you have? Now Im upset because he dismissed her to ask me that. I look him in the eye & say, speak with her, its her truck (which it is, her daily driver) by this time Im done with this rude man & decide to wait in the shade of a trailer as she looks into one. After she tells him, I just said Ram 1500 he replies with, Im a realtor, so I need to know your budget At this point, my wife is also done with this rude man so she says, thanks for your time. So we decided to shop online and plan our trips for an out of Los Angeles area dealer. This dealer has limited stock, rude salespeople & this was our 2nd visit in 3 years. It was basically the same bad/rude sales experience. I used to sell new cars for Mazda some years back. The one thing I always remember from sales training 101 is that people will buy from a salesperson that they find pleasant & likable. Even if they had no intention to buy something... food for though MTRV.

Terrible experience shopping for an RV at Mike Thompson in Santa Fe Springs. Our first sales person showed us about 3 RV’s. When we said we didn’t like the used Toy Hauler he was pushing so hard on us he lost interest. Left us on the lot by ourselves multiple times even when we asked to see a specific unit. He finally returned to push us off on another salesman. We expressed that we wanted to see all the options (mind you, we have roughly a $100K budget and are ready to purchase) he proceeded to tell us there were only 4 options. As we know thats not even close to being the truth, I expressed there are many different variables and options and we wanted to explore them all to get a true feel of them. This buster then copped an attitude as if we were wasting his time, so we decided to leave. Unbelievable how terrible this experience was knowing how close we are to buying and how we were treated. I hope Mike T takes a hard look at their sales team at this location. We will now be buying from Camping World.

This is the second time that I have visited a Mike Thompsons RV. Both times it has been the same, rude staff, inattentive staff, and one of the staff even threatened my dog. We tend to be pretty easygoing, not very demanding, etc. I am bummed that these are the only places locally where I can get Grand Design or Brinkley RVs. If you are looking for one of the brands that are sold at MTRV I would recommend reaching out to the manufacturer and asking for the closest dealer that is not MTRV. I should note that this was the sales department, not parts and service. I can only imagine the nightmare that getting your RV serviced at MTRV would be, that is speculation of course.Bottom line, I would suggest that one stays away from this dealer.

Well we did have a Great experience at this dealer, but.. our salesman dissapointed us. He had me text him to remind him that there were 3 things that needed to be repaired. We were not taking home the rv for 2 weeks. Plenty of time to fix things. I had also text him and asked what size tv fits in the spot. He text back a small one, lol thats not the answer I was looking for. I asked him to take a pic of a paper for me. He said he would do it the next day. Never got the picture. So finally the time came 2 weeks later to pick up the rv. So excited. All 3 things that needed to be fixed were not touched! Salesman blew me off, no big deal :/ the rv had been there for 2 weeks and we were not able to bring it back to be addressed because we were leaving out of state in 2 days. So dealer and staff and salesman very nice but felt slided because things were not taken care of.

I hope this review helps any future customer, this dealer will tell you that they will help you with any problems that you may have with your RV in the future. I can say that is a lie because the sales associate (Mike) and office associates (Bruce Shipper) both told me the same thing. After using my trailer for the first time I experienced some issues with my toy hauler that were very minimal problems and to this day they have not been able to help me solve these issues. When I reached out to them I was hoping they would be able to assist me like they had promised, but instead Mike just gave me a phone number to some lady by the name of Olivia Stewart and to this day I have left her 3 voicemails and I have received no answer or any help. I could easily fix these issues myself but I shouldnt have to if I still have warranty with them, so now I have reached out to Forest River (brand of my toy hauler) to see if they can help me solve these issues given that Mike Thompson RV has not. ITS SO SAD THAT IN ORDER FOR THEM TO CONTACT YOU, YOU MUST LEAVE A BAD REVIEW!!!!! I hope I can eventually get some help to fix these issues!!!

11/16/2020 = 3 Star = got my RV trailer on this date, my reason of less star due to found some issue on my Gas Tank looks like is leaking and the tech wo did mount this regulator broke the screw . 2nd issue i had my directv portable satellite installed and did work because it got shorted on coax cable its look like tech issue who did the wiring . 3rd issue when i look underneath i see tiny wiring is cut im not sure if that wire is intended to be disconnected, i will address this to Mike Thompson and we will see what they gonna say, will update soon if they deserve more star .10/30/20 = 4 star = when i did my visit, they dont have much selection, we end up buying one yesterday, i see a lot of negative comments here but my friend buy his rv here long time ago and they got good service, will see, i hope i will have good experience too . I Dont have any issue, so far im happy for what they told me, i can get the RV trailer in two weeks . I will update my review soon .

Brought our trailer in to service, was given an estimate of 4-6 weeks, of course an estimate, after one month was then informed that no one started the work due to some issue with the previous serviceman no longer working there. I asked to pick up our trailer to continue to use until they received the parts. Well as I’m on my way they wind up pulling my slide out and couldn’t get it back in. The next serviceman has been somewhat communicating on the repair status. He has been professional and what more can he do. So we are paying our payment monthly and no trailer to enjoy. So I’ll have to update my review upon completion for the service completed and the timeframe to receive our trailer back. 9 weeks and counting.

We recently visited Mike Thompson’s RV in Colton with the intent of purchasing a new travel trailer and trading in our existing RV. Despite this being our second purchase from them, we were left disappointed. Although our initial experience on our first purchase by far wasn’t stellar, we decided to return to them because they carried the specific manufacturer “Grand Design”. They mentioned they were having a show in a few days and they would offer us their “show price” for our desired model, but when the numbers came in, they offered a mere $4,000 discount on the new trailer. We decided to shop around and checked there website a few days later only to find the price of the trailer we inquired of being discounted $6,000! It’s disheartening to feel undervalued as returning customers. Add to this our previous negative experiences with their dealership as well as there service department, and it’s clear we will not be returning. We ultimately got an amazing deal at Trailer Hitch RV. Paid $1000’s less then mike thompsons AND got the model up from the model at mike thompsons! If you read thru mike thompsons reviews you will see over and over about there service department and there customer service! Trust all the warnings!

Purchased this RV from Mikes Thompson, two months into owning this RV the pulley system came out of the wall Mike Thompson had our RV for three months to handle the repairs. first trip after picking up our RV the same pulley completely came out of the wall leaving us stranded at a campsite with the slide out half way out. My wife suggested I inspected the other slide before moving them. We found that the dining room slide are near coming out the wall and our bedroom slide cable was also damage. I called the service rep at Mike Thompson and explained the situation he said they only inspect issue I mentioned nothing else and for the pulley they repaired, Mike Thompson passed the buck and gave us Keystone Phone number. I don’t believe all RV owners are experts which is why we take our Rv’s to a service center. A quick inspection of the cable system of the other slide out would have eliminated some grief after Mike Thompson failing repair.Thanks for ruining our trip and money spent down the toilet, Mike Thompson.Save yourself some headache and take your business elsewhere.

After phone shopping around for prices we called this dealership and bought our 1st travel trailer over the phone, our sales Chris was very easy to work with, fast communication, answered our txt msgs quickly. It was so easy that it felt like a scam (had to trace their fax number to make sure it was real before signing papers.) We drove 186 miles to pick it up when we could have bought the same trailer 2 minutes away. They put together a very thoughtful starter kit with everything you need to use the trailer right away (only thing missing were wheel chocks but it is still a great kit.) Not sure how well their service department is, but sales and finance were great. Highly recommend.

The worst service experience of my life.Save yourself a headache and take your RV to another place, these service people and their technicians leave a lot to be desired, I bought my RV class B with them Mike Thompson took it through 3 service recalls and they left it with other problems. They tell you that it will take a week and they take 4 to change a hose. save time money and stress and find another place. For me it was the first and the last time I take her there.

I had such a wonderful experience purchasing my first RV from Mike ThompsonsI was greeted by Carlos Kim, who was absolutely wonderful. He had the coach prepped and waiting for me at the entrance. I was very impressed with his knowledge of every on-board system. When I asked about the price, he let me know that there was some wiggle room. (It must have been from the look on my face) He was great at getting me exactly where I wanted to be in pricing. 30 minutes later I was signing the contract with Steve Romero.There was no pushy sales tactics, or rushing me through the process. Purchased a Solis 6 months ago from these guys. Bought the extended warrantee. They assured me that Id be well taken care of.SO FAR, I had figure out how to finish installing the sink, Ive had the dash console go out, the cabin batteries are dead, and a sensor has fallen out of my sliding door.The response from Mike Thompsons to the display-screen failure and the sliding door sensor: Youll have to talk to Dodge about repairs.Mike Thompsons response when it came to the batteries: They charged me $215 to disconnect them, and told me that I would have to take them to NAPA to have them looked at and see if they were warranteed. When I did so, the NAPA people told me that warrantees do not transfer, so only the people who purchased/installed the batteries could claim a warrantee. I called Mike Thompson back and they told me that the batteries only had a six month warrantee through the dealer, but that maybe I could contact WInnebago to see if they could make an exception. Keep in mind that my vehicle was purchased just SIX MONTHS AGO. Oh, and those batteries that they sold me? Their manufacturers warrantee through NAPA expired in May. Thats right, Mike Thompson sold me a vehicle with only 3 months of warrantee left on the cabin batteries.Buyer beware. The only reason that Im giving this two stars is because while they havent been terribly helpful, the people at the dealership have been uniformly polite.

Buying our Grand Design was a great experience! Marco was our salesman from the day we first came to look at floorplans and he was with us the entire process, right up until we drove it off the lot. Michelle in finance was nothing short of perfect, making the process as painless as possible and giving us great options for warranties, without being pushy. This review is aimed towards the service department in Santa Fe Springs and, more specifically, Carlton Koontz, who was my Service Advisor.I have been traveling in my travel trailer for the last six months and have plans to continue those travels for the next year plus. I was back in LA for the holidays and had scheduled some maintenance work to be done while I was here. Once I arrived at my appointment, I was told that the work would require 7-10 days which was not feasibly affordable for me (as I am living in my trailer and did not have an alternative living situation). I was prepared to leave without having the work done but Carlton, having a sensitive appreciation for my situation, talked with the service department and thought they could turn it around more expediently. I decided to trust in him/them and was not disappointed! He/they worked some magic and was able to get the work completed on the same day! I am extremely appreciative for this level of care and, as a result, I would not hesitate to return again and also to recommend them!

So, me and my wife call them We allow them run our credit over the Phone Since we in (San Diego ) They love the score which is above 800 then they say with 2,000 $ down they for sure Kno they can Get us in a Rv …. Now the bad part is they could have ask us have we had a Rv before and saved time money and energy, They gas lighted us made it seem like we good so we schedule a day, Drive up & come ( Even wasted time looking at one ) give them a down payment, waited a whole week for them say we wasn’t. Because we never had a RV before on our credit but remember they been ran our credit over thePhone and even the day we drove up they ran our credit then we had to wait a week and half to get our down payment and still wastedTime we could have been looking and wasted gas goin up there and home They are Greedy and WILL GAS LIGHT YOU IF U NEVER HAD A RV DONT BOTHER THEY GOIN TAKE THE DOWN PAYMENT & ALL BUT WASTE UR TIME !

We purchased a 2021 Mercedes Sprinter 2500 4x4. We love the vehicle, but the service department in Fountain Valley leaves much to be desired. It usually takes at least 2 weeks to get any work done, and they do not return phone calls in less than 2 weeks. The service advisor we were assigned has been in returning calls. While camping in Yosemite, on Oct. 9-12th our Master Volt did not charge resulting in no electricity. I called our advisor Oct. 10th, left him a message and he never returned my call. Unprofessional behavior like this is unacceptable.

I purchased a trailer from Mike Thompson in November and I was completely taken advantage of. I put in an offer online and was called into discuss pricing. We settled on a price I was happy with because the trailer was already on sale so I didn’t do much haggling, offered my down payment and said we’d return next week to complete paperwork and schedule delivery.We definitely should not have waited that week because the financier Marc Jones took that time to add on additional charges that we didn’t discuss. Marc told me he would work on deals for the warranties and would maybe add on $20-30 a month at most. When I went back, I said I was there to meet Marc for paperwork but I was walked past Marc who was sitting at his desk with no other clients in his office and I was instead taken to another man with no explanation. I believe this was part of their tactic to distract me from the added charges. I don’t remember the second mans name but he was very impersonal and I should have known they were up to something. I noticed the amount I’d be financing went up and I asked about it, but he just said it was the warranties and tax and it would all even out. I didn’t fully realize how much the numbers went up until I received paperwork from the loan company and really thought back to that first meeting and the numbers we discussed. I thought maybe they didn’t apply my deposit and just kept it, so I pulled out all of the paperwork and compared. Turns out they added on $7000 worth of additional OPTIONAL warranties that I did not at all want nor did I ask for and I did not approve, which I can see by the lines I initialed on the proposed contract. I compared the original proposal to the final one and each optional warranty that initially said N/A now has thousands of dollars of charges added on. It’s very sickening that they would do something like this and I just wondering how many others they’ve taken advantage of. Thousands of dollars gone to sleazy salesmen. This should be illegal and I’m planning to consult with a lawyer to determine if they’re liable for false representation or really any other crime, but I highly doubt they’ll keep getting away with this for long.Also literally within a week of having the trailer the awnings and fireplace have stopped working and we’ve had endless electrical issues. I truly hope this place gets shut down.

Just got off the phone to order some replacement parts for my Class C Rv. Tom @ parts is always great, knowledgeable and patient when it comes to ordering difficult parts. OMG,The worst Dealer Service Center I have ever visited in 30 years of buying vehicles. In one year I have been in for service 4 times with a schedule appointment. Only seen the same service rep once as others quit or were fired. Always wait outside 30min. to an hour before anyone even comes outside to address a customer . They do not fix flats., or work on tires or rims, hand to take it to a Mercedes Dealer, they damaged a bumper while it was in for service, they failed to write up the repair order correctly requiring additional visits to address the problem and they let it set for weeks before getting to it even with scheduled appointment for service. Let me get away from this dealership and I hope they are not all like this

My name is Thomas Hummel if Mike Thompson wants to reach out to me they are welcome. I seen a camper I liked and put a small amount down on it. Chris the finance manager as well as Jason the sales man told me they would run the numbers. Two weeks later the money I gave them randomly shows up in my bank account without so much as a phone call or an explanation. I called them this morning and talked to Chris who explained to me that he couldn’t make it work and it wasn’t gonna happen. No phone calls, no communications!! Why ???? Do I really believe that this place couldn’t make the deal work ? NO!! I truly believe someone with much better credit and money came by that they would have had to work a lot less to, “get the deal done”, came by and bought it out from underneath me. If this is not the case, then at the very least this was very unprofessional with little to no communication whatsoever! Either way, I don’t think Mike Thompson is for the little guy !

We purchased a 2020 trailer from this location on New Years of 2021. The sales team did their job and finance was smooth. Its the post purchase customer service that needs attention from the leadership team.Our first trailer service took place on 2/6/2021 and thanks to Carlton Koontz (Service Advisor), we wont be visiting this place again.Hes unprofessional and doesnt understand that service and sales are part of one umbrella being Mike Thompsons. He made it clear that they were different divisions/departments and he would not attempt or authorize a $40 scissor jack repair. I spent 25k at your dealership...really?

Make sure you price check any of their out the door prices with other dealers in the area. They told me the best they could do was X, I checked with five other dealers within 400 miles they were all $12,000 cheaper. I know everyone is trying to make money, I just believe there’s a fine line between making an honest deal and giving somebody the shaft. Good luck.

Amazing experience ! We’ve been in the mark for a travel trail for awhile but never really made the big move to purchase. A few months back we came in to look at a few keystone passport Chris was nice enough to show us several layout we kinda knew right of the bat which one we wanted but I still wanted to do more research so we walked away. Second time around Chris wasn’t available but he did set us up with the best sale consultant Wilbert !Wilbert was professional, knowledgeable and kept it fun !!! (not pushy or boring) he did his job so well that we decided to make the big purchase. As you know buying a trailer you can’t just take it home right away. A week later we came back to pick it up and do a full walk threw (pdi) Gary was great took us threw the ins & outs of how to work everything and Alfredo did a few adjustment and showed us how to use the new hitch although once we got home we did have an issue with the Electric tongue jack it blew a fuse a few time before we left the lot and it happened again when we tried to use it at home. So I called Wilbert right away he told me Alfredo would call me back so I’m waiting for Alfredo phone call and I hope we can take care of it ASAP ! And in the finance department Mr.Mark was wonderful explained to us everything regarding warranties and insurance two very important thing you must know and have or was it Phil Collins and hot Cheetos ?! Well I made an appointment 2 months ahead of time, I gave them a list of things I wanted done. Arrived and found out that most of my list they cant do, their supply chain is hijacked by the Scary virus. So I got an oil change, generator service and a chassis lube for $440, yikes!!! The work was exceptional, the price was out there and thats mainly due to the waste fees for the used oil, California is reeming us on that! Same service in Indiana is about $175.

My Husband and I purchased a 2003 Winnebago Adventurer 3 mos. ago.This is the first RV we have owned. We are retired and wanted to travel and have a home away from home. The sales men Kevin was nice but sold us a RV that has been nothing but problems. No warranty could be purchased because of RVs age, but Kevin assured us it was in amazing shape and had only one owner who took excellent care of it. .We have used it one time it has spent the rest of the time in the shop. We were told they went through a full inspection of everything. In the 3 mos. weve owned it weve replaced, shocks, upper /lower radiator hose, facets to stop leaks in the shower to prevent mold, thermostat, Black & Grey water tanks valves to stop sewage from flowing out of the tanks. The smell was so bad we had to move the RV due to complaints. I called Kevin and asked them to please buy it back ( my husband & I are retired) he offered to trade for a more expensive RV. So I am out the 45,000 cash i paid for the rv plus almost $5000 for repairs.NO I WOULD NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM MIKE THOMPSON AGAIN AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMEND PURCHASING FROM MIKE THOPMSON!!!

We bought a brand new 37 ft coach and spent a pretty penny, however we have only been able to use our coach for about three weeks of the past 3 months because it has been in the shop with Mike Thompson for the rest of the time. When buying our RV they sold us on how easily and quickly they are repaired and not too worry, however on our first trip we had complete electrical failure and the jacks stopped functioning. Not too mention all the cosmetic items that were not resolved prior to pick up. This dealership should be ashamed of itself. Instead of justifying why its taking extended periods of time to order parts or get approvals to fix things, they should apologize, own their errors and try to rectify them. So instead of enjoying our new RV for the summer, we have made 3 mortgage payments on a new luxury home on wheels that we cant even use.

This dealership has been horrible from the start. We bought our trailer in 2013 and paid for the MaxGaurd Protection (a spray to protect the exterior from fading). When we picked up the trailer after they supposedly did the MaxGaurd the paper notice was still taped to the outside. There was no evidence of water drips from the spray. When we questioned if the spray had been put on they claimed it had because they had logged it in their book. Needless to say within a few years we had fading. When we contacted Richard Spencer in the service dept. He said he would take care of it and file the claim. He didnt and did not contact us. When we attempted to contact him his messages were full and it took days to get a hold of him. He again stated he would take care of it. That did not happen again. It wasnt until we drove there and demanded to speak to the supervisor that Richard even called up back. Again he said he would take care of it. Low and behold the claims department denied the request due the damage being reported weeks before the claim was actually submitted. Thanks Richard!! Fast forward to August 2019. We scheduled to have several items looked at for repairs. When we talked with James Basham about the items that needed attention he noted that it would be $169.00 to check each item, one of which was the A/C. We mentioned that in two weeks we were scheduled for a camping trip and would need the trailer by then. Never once did he mention that they would not be able to get the trailer back to us before then or contact us in the week that transpired. We had to contact him and cancel our reservation because as he said it is still being looked at. Two weeks later he reported that due to CA law they could not work on A/Cs and it would need to be replaced which he knew when we dropped it off and still felt comfortable in not telling us up front so that they could charge us $169.00 for nothing. Additionally, we had window that was not working properly and of course they charged us $169.00 to look at. When we were speaking to him about the cost to repair it he gave us an additional price to repair it. All in all he quoted us nearly $6,000 in repairs. When we told him that was more than the trailer was worth and we were not interested, he then told us that the window was already fixed. These guys are definitely out to take advantage of customers and have awful costumer service. We will never do business with Mike Thompson ever again and strongly recommend you find another dealer.

Don’t pay the $500 to hold their so-called deal, you’re not obligated to. If they want your business they’ll draw up a deal at no cost. You pay when you’re happy with the deal. In our case they showed us one model then drew up the deal for another basic model. ONE letter made all the difference. “17BH” to “17CH”. After telling them we were unhappy with the deal they held off on communication for almost 2 weeks. When we asked for the $500 refund Bruce told us we may be responsible for the prep of the Trailer that we didn’t even get to see since they didn’t have it in their inventory at the time. We didn’t even sign the sales agreement as there was nothing to purchase from their inventory. I wouldn’t have wrote this (1) star review but when Bruce said the $500 may not be refunded so he could pay his people for their lack of inventory I felt cheated. On top of their lack of communication I felt like they were dragging the issue so they didn’t have to issue a refund. Go to other sellers and don’t give a so called $500 holding fee. I never got my $500 back from them.Update 10/2019- I gave them my email and number. They never followed up. Never got my $500 back.

Purchased our coach in August 2016 and learned immediately that they do not return phone calls. Had issues when we drove off, attempted to contact the dealership and was told our call would be returned immediately. In some cases, still waiting. This was a new coach and we learned after we drove off, that it had been sitting on the lot for an extended period of time and was not taken care of. When we brought it back in November for warranty work, received the same run around, phone calls not returned, half the items on the list were not addressed. Was told it would be three, four weeks max, finally at seven drove up and was assured all work had been done. It wasnt.I would not recommend this dealership. They talk a good story, but dont stand behind the products they sell. The only reason they are getting one star is due to Steve Romero in finance. He worked with us and obtained a low interest rate. If it wasnt for him. I would give them zero stars.

While on vacation this past weekend, our slide got stuck on our 2 year old Grand Design. Grand Design didn’t answer because it was a Sunday. We called Mike Thompson on a chance that maybe a tech was there and could walk us through a manual override because our Owners Manual was for a prior years model and was not updated. No service tech was there on a Sunday but a great salesman walked us through how to manually override the slide and saved our camping trip. They spent 20 minutes on the phone with us walking us through it. I couldn’t believe how nice they were. I can’t remember the salesman’s name but thank you so much for saving our family vacation.

We purchased a preowned Motorhome in February and paid the negotiated price. Salesman and finance manager have great customer service. However, I cant say the same about the sales manager. He almost made me walk away from the purchase at the last minute and I actually wish I had. The RV did not have some of the things advertised and when confronted he was very rude to my wife and actually said we could renegotiate the price. After a verbal confrontation I decided we would not deal with this rude individual who I cant imagine how he got a job as a sales manager. Against my better judgement we still purchased the RV dealing with the original sales person and the finance manager. The only problem with them is I rented a car to get to LA and they would not transport me to drop the car off. They really need to work on that aspect. Come on, I just spent $60,000.00 with you company, somebody step up and give me a two mile ride to enterprise. I was also told I would get a customer service call at which time I could complain about the sales manager. Lol, I got that call in December after a service appointment.Ok, my first real trip was 28 days in July and I had some mechanical issues in which their company fixed some and didnt fix some they should have:Broken Chasis bolts: They fixed.Broken front electric window shade, faulty battery boost and front air conditioner: My extended warranty fixed after some arguement.Generator dying: They serviced and I had no problem paying for it. However, it was still not running when I picked it up. I rebuilt the carborator myself. Now its running.Engine service and a broken screen door latch: I had no problem paying for.Dead battery cells: You would think the coach would have had new batteries instead of the original ones from 2012. But, they did not replace them and advised me I would have to purchase them and pay to have them installed. $159.00 per hour for two hours which is a joke. So, I still have bad batteries.Anyway, I wish I could give them 5 stars but I cant. The service manager, Alex and Olivia in the service department are both awesome. However, my RV was 4 hours from my home in the shop for 4 1/2 months for the above repairs during prime RV season. Also, my costs started at over $1,000.00 for the repairs. They did wind up getting them down to charging me for the engine and generator service, screen latch and shipping on the window shade which I believe are my redponsibility.But, the hassle of debating whos responsible for what, me fixing my own generator, batteries from 2012 and, come on 4 1/2 months (End of July to the middle of December) for repairs. That was blamed on the company who manufactures the shade but, the air conditioner wasnt agreed to be fixed until the last. And they tell me the other air is out which they only serviced. I think it works though but, well see.Again thanks to Alex and Olivia but, I cant be honest and give 5 stars. Honestly, with these types of issues your better off going local even if you have to pay a little more for your coach.To end on a good note: The coach is clean, nice and we really enjoyed it on our trip. Hopefully well have no more issues. This was a fiasco!!!*************************Well, I did as they requested and sent my contact info. so their customer service people could contact me. I did that on January 1st. Its now January 11th. I havent heard anything from them. Also they put a guote from this post on their site that makes it appear that I was satisfied with their service. The parking is terrible, especially if you are bringing a trade. To value your trade, you have to pull in to the sales lot. When you leave, you have to back out, onto the street.Once you get past the parking issue, things get better. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They offered waters to me and my family. We felt we got less than we wanted for our trade, but still fair. We bought our new trailer on sale and seemed to be a good deal.

I kept calling in checking status of my order just to find out that the order was cancelled 2 weeks ago and i still struggled to get my money back. Horrible accounting policies. Don’t buy your trailer here. First off our 2021Eclipse Iconic trailer was promised to be ready in October but we didn’t get it until December. Ok fine. Then we go camping in 114 degree weather and the metal sheets expand and get bent. THIS IS A NEW TRAILER WHY IS THIS HAPPENING? Took it in to service department and we later get a call that warranty won’t cover it, take it to the manufacturer, because they need to completely strip all the metal sheets.So we had to go back to Mike Thompson RV to pick it up and bring it back home because there manufacturer Iconic wouldn’t answer! Left them 4 messages and no call back. Finally I call again and speak to Thomas and I take it in 8/2020. I had been calling to get a progress update and it wasn’t ready but on 10/15/2020 I finally get a call to pick it up it’s ready. Husband took the day off, gets there and they had done nothing to it! Thomas in service department specifically told me they had stripped it and put all the new metal sheets. My husband spoke to manager “Jarum” and manager apologized and promised to get It done in a week. Let’s see if he cares and takes pride in his work.I called and left a message for Jeff at the Mike Thompson in Santa Fe Spring, just so they are aware of what was going on and the type of service they have over at their manufacturer ........never got a call back.Oh I also left a message for HR at Iconic.....never got a call back.Service it horrible just like the quality of their trailers.These trailers are not made properly, the stove was not installed properly, decal stickers were missing,but I don’t care for the stickers so that’s fine, there’s scratches on the decals they covered up with black glob, the jacks don’t work properly, scratches on cabinets they also tried to cover up. I REGRET trading in my Motorhome for this trailer.... New customers take your time and inspect your trailer and do not be embarrassed to point out the many defects in the trailer.

Called them and WILLIE said they can do an additional 6% for 97709.Drove 1 1/2 hrs the next morning with the fam.At 12:00 we sat down to run numbers. He came back with “the advertised price was a mistake” and the msrp is 160000, and wanted to start negotiations there. I showed them other dealers listing the same Model for 113000-116000. Purchased a 2020 Grand Design Momentum 375TH, MSRP was $115k, got it for $96k out the door, delivered to my house after giving my credit union check, and have had only problem after problem, and Tory the sales manager is filled with false promises.1. Auto level doesn’t work. Upon delivery the driver had no idea how to trouble shoot the issue, the service tech, Nacho, is not familiar with this “newer brand” so he couldn’t help either. So I have a 1 day old RV that won’t auto level.2. 5.5 kW generator rarely starts. Unknown issues and they don’t know how to fix it3. Water pressure in shower is very low. Hooked up to city water, and pressure is uncomfortably low.4. King bed is not a king size. It’s a normal queen size. Don’t believe their marketing liesI strongly recommend everyone to stay far away from this dealership.

Tori was excellent at following up with us to ensure we were entirely satisfied.When we did our walk through we couldnt have asked for a better person then Steven, WOW he knows his stuff and made sure that we left knowing everything about our new trailer. If it were possible to leave a 0, I would. Owning an RV is supposed to be the ultimate retirement gift to yourself, but Mike Thompson RV has made it a nightmare for my parents. They paid cash for their RV and it took months for Thopsons to get the RV ready for pick up. 6 weeks later than they were promised, 1 day before our 1st trip was scheduled, Thompson finally called them to come pick it up. ONLY IT WASNT READY AND THEY BROKE IT!!! We couldnt level it because they bent one of the leveling post! Their idea of making right was giving my father some prices of wood to put under the post that was so bent it wouldnt come down all the way. Not only did they break the level, but the 2 hour walk through to teach them how to operate the RV turned into 15 minutes and my parents werent even given the opportunity to try anything for themselves, like how to turn the sofa into a bed. There are NO instruction manuals provided, only installation guides. The water was mislabeled and the RV flooded. The Thompson rep tells my mother on the phone they will replace the carpet and flooring for free, only to find out a couple months later they are putting it through the insurance and need my parents to pay the deductible. It has been over 6 months since they purchased the RV and still Thompson RV has not installed the upgrades that were paid for at time of purchase, they have not repaired what they broke and they have convinced my parents that they signed something acknowledging there is a no lemon law and my parents are simply screwed. You have to be kidding me; I spent 3k to go through my RV, head to toe. Im not sure the work was done but what I can see, the job was definitely suboptimal. Its like they didnt have pride in their work. I mean everything wasnt done with professionalism. I called 2 weeks prior to taking in the RV to tell them what I wanted so they could order it. When I did take in the RV we went over, again, what would need to be ordered, like radio and outside light. I dropped the RV off on Tuesday with the promise theyd try to be done by the following Fri or Sat. When I called to pick up on Fri they told me they hadnt ordered the radion and light so Id have to continue to rent a motel until the following Tues to get the work done. They didnt check the tire pressure which I had to do at a local gas station. The heater doesnt work when it did when I dropped it off. The propane gas tester was turned off. The ladder extender I bought from them doesnt fit, that means they didnt even try it. The windshield wiper system was replaced and it works fine BUT they didnt even put any water in the wiper water holder. The outside light fixture they replaced doesnt fit with the awning. They didnt replace the dump tubing which was written on the ticket, they forgot. When I left they left the accelerator suppressor on so I couldnt drive over 5 mph. When I took it back they fixed it but broke off my side mirror. Yes they replaced it with a temporary one and said theyd order a new one to match, they never did. When I finally left the greasy rages they use were still on the floor in the rv and when driving home the engine cover popped open, they didnt even lock it. Im telling you the truth: they may do the work you ask them to, MAYBE, but they will charge you exorbitantly and not take any pride or professionalism in their work. Watch out!

The RV was clean and they agreed to, and did, reimburse me for items that we found that were not working as advertised. Good customer services after buying a RV especially to the first RV owner are super super important. If you buy RV here, you will suffer and regret a lot by its poor services.Sales persons and representatives who I experienced are unprofessional, careless, irresponsible, and unkind.This company has a poor control on its inventories and did not give everything that it comes with.First, I had to struggle to get my secondary car key and box keys which wasted many weeks waiting for their replies and going back forth to Dodge service center. If you do not realize and argue with them what is missing. They will never give you what they are supposed to give, until you constantly demand with patience.Secondly, although my RV has manuals, tools and tire information sticker for a mounted spare tire, the car did not come with a spare tire. A sales person made ridiculous excuses and could not explain about all clues I suggested.On the top of it, the company held and misrepresented information about RVs capacity. Its sales man told me that my car is for 5 people and good for my family since it has 5 seat belts, which it was advertised on its website. But after buying it, I ran into surprising information that my RVs capacity is 2 people. Its representative does not explain why this happened clearly. I am still wondering how many people are allowed to ride this vehicle?This company broke my dream for family travel and time.Be careful!

Lengthy review but worth the read if planning to use the service department at the Mike Thompson located on Firestone in Sante Fe Springs. I bought a 2005 Wiinebago vectra 40 DP motorhome. It basically sat for almost 10 years. I had the chassis gone over by freightliner but the coach needed servicing, my pick up truck set up as a toad and finally solar system set up. Spoke to a couple shops before deciding on MT. Main reason I went with MT was Carlton over in the service dept. Super solid guy and he walked me through every option before I pulled any triggers. He kept me updated on the progress while work was being done. I also kept adding stuff last minute on them and it was never a problem. The work done on the coach and the pick up was top notch. Everything was perfect and completed before the anticipated date. One tech (Garrett) did all of the work and he carefully went over everything with me. I highly recommend calling MT for any kind of servicing or repair to your RV. Great people over there.

Took in my RV for a GFCI issue and came out of there paying $3800.00 for a Generator tune up an miscellaneous items that they said I had to get done. Oh be careful because problems with your RV will pop out of nowhere. Somehow I went in with a working refrigerator and a working water pump and now neither one of them work. There is no way I will ever take my RV to them, they try to scam you into fixing things like supposedly my roof needing a complete back replaced after quoting me $5000 dollars I said no. I got on the roof, I did have a little crack in the corner that I fixed myself for $50 bucks. Id give less than one. Took my 5th wheel to Mike Thompson to get repaired after is was broken into. 71/2 months to make repairs. Repairs were sub-par. Service advisor never called, had to constantly call him for updates, which were usually Parts on Orders. When it was completed, Service Advisor called wanting immediate payment so he could Close out the ticket before the end of the month. Shoddy, incomplete work.Avoid this place like the plague. Just purchased our previously owned 2015 Fleetwood motorhome from Mike Thompson RV Santa Fe Springs. After reading some of the reviews prior to going there we were hesitant but they were mostly for service issues. I can only say that our experience was exceptional. Everything went smoothly from sales to finance to pick up. Travis in finance was straight forward and very knowledgeable with no sales tactics for extras like warranties or anything else. You either want the extended warranties or you dont. He just gave us options. After we picked it up there was an issue with a fuse or relay for the interior lights after we arrived home. I called them expalined the issue to Alex in service. He said bring it back the next day, we did. He inspected the problem, replaced a relay switch or selenoid, 2 hours later we were good to go. No problems, no waiting for parts, no hassles and away we went. So our experience with them was 5 star with only good things to say.

This place is interesting. If youre shopping for a new or used RV you might want to go elsewhere. They dont want you to use your lower rate financing and are in favor of giving something in house that way over what you can qualify for. Once you purchase you have to wait a month or more for them to figure out how to get your unit setup after ripping you off by overcharging for fluids and setup. After they have finished bending you over you get on you knees and mouth wide open as they forcefully spurt bs down you in waiting times as you continuously return your purchase order and over for them to attempt to horribly finish work they should have already completed. After that they splash you a few more times across your face attempting to blame YOU for the issues they caused. If you buy here be prepared to file lawsuit and complaint with the BBB. You would be better off joining the crackheads on Hollywood or downtown living in a cardboard box surrounded by needles over shopping at Mike Thompsons RV. Good luck if they let you sucker them into this trap.

My experience with Mike Thompson has been a total disaster and I will never be back.I need repairs to my fridge lines and damaged skirt from a tire blow out.The 1st time I was told the RV was ready the color of the skirt was way off and the skirt showed ripples in it with a gloss finish next to my mat finish.6 months it took to get my RV back and below is a list of issues when I picked it up.1. They Left my fridge loose just sitting there not screwed in.2. Didnt reconnect the fridge condensate line.3. Radio doesnt work anymore.4. Washed and painted the RV with my window open, entire inside is full of dirt and dust.5. Left my door gasket hanging loose.6. Left Metal shavings and loose screws in the trailer7. We went in and test drove a used RV and decided we wanted to buy it. We agreed on a price and then talked with Tory the financing person who said hed secure financing for us. This was days ago. We have plans to go camping on Memorial weekend and have paid for a camping spot for 3 days and we went shopping over the past few days spending in access of $400. in supplies for camping. We also told friends and family to plan on camping with us. Now days later we are told he cant secure a loan for us because nobody will finance a 2002 RV for the price they are asking. Now we are stuck in a very bad situation and weve given them a $5,000. down payment. Weve tried calling the finance guy Tory but hes in a meeting until noon. We were scheduled to pick the RV up tomorrow, Thursday a.m. so we could prepare to camp. The sales lady Stacy was great but their finance person and tactics for practicing business are awful. We are in limbo now not even knowing if they can get us a loan or if we will get this RV. A very bad situation. My advice is to shop elsewhere for an RV.

I WAS SOLD $12,998.00 IN WARRANTIES ON A 89K RV WITHOUT MY KNOWLEDGE and when I figured that out less than 24 hours after the sale... they will not cancel the contracts and return my money...They will, of course, state this was just a misunderstanding... it was not, it was bad faith...I bought an RV yesterday from Mike Thompson RV a new C class Forest River...Below are the texts from Steve Romero in the financing department...What you do not see are the conversations at Mike Thompson RV where they, take my information, run my credit, and tell me the bank wants 20k down... so I write them a check and they tell me I can pick up the RV a week later after it is prepped...(huh, a week to prep a brand new vehicle? )I am called the next day and told bad news, the bank wants 40k down... my texts with Steve start after this conversation...you can see that at one point he is claiming that the bank wants 40k down... (he says it was reduced by 10k, to 30k) I have great to excellent credit with some scores in the 700s and some in the high 600s... so 40k down was confusing to me as you can see in the texts...When I ask what the name of the lender is... i am told to relax and that he had been up since 6 am working on it... i am not given an answer who lending is being sought through...I ask again...He then tells me I am approved at 30k down and owe him a bottle of tequila... and he gives me the name of the lender...Below is a screen shot I took from another bank with an approval at 20k down hours after doing the deal (the one and only bank i asked, and I only asked because of the ridiculous 40k down requirement)An RV has a ridiculous amount of paperwork, it makes buying a car look like a hand shake... the chassis is made in Canada, the generator is made by this company, the refrigerator is made by that company... its all assembled by a different company... it is covered in warning labels and disclaimers...And so I sign, and sign, and sign... and sign some more... and Im being told Im signing my warranty papers... i literally signed my signature next to highlighted boxes for me than 30 minutes...Well... they got me... 3 of those pages bought me nearly 13,000.00 worth of warranties I had no idea I was being sold, that I thought was being required by the bank as a down payment...They literally robbed me in the paperwork...After two calls to Steve, i have been told a manager will call me back... it has been 6 hours with no call...P.s. after reading the reviews it is quite obvious the service department could use some help... cant wait to find out the 13,000.00 worth of warranties is going to force me to come here for service... ABSOLUTE SCAM... i was going to take my family up the 395 to Tahoe this weekend in our new RV but I cant because now I have to go file all this in the downtown LA courthouse tomorrow in a timely fashion to get the warranties annulled...Hey... I purchased a used Monaco at MTRV and was very satisfied with the deal, there was some give and take and then a good deal was made. I had a DTV dish, solar panels, air horn and an awning light installed and a complete go through. Ok here is what got to say about this placeSo last year we purchased a keystone 27 foot hideout LHS it has only been towed 400 miles max we towed it home parked till last week we have used it at the house but no tripsSo first week the roof peeled the fixed on warranty but the little things like no staples holding down paneling inside seam strips peeling all the plastic trim that covers outside screws has blown off on 1st trip rear bumper rusted when slide out is in all the way it has a 3 in lip on 1 side the propane line rotted out to the tanks and they should at least install a battery ahut off I had replace the original cause it drains in 2 days due to it being used 24/7Probly not dealership but they sell these pcs of junk wanted to use a different word but you know Google lol good luck if you own one and good luck if you shop here they are lazy in the repair dept takes weeks to get things backSorry Mike Thompson but you need to improve I will never go or recommend everPaul
