We had Nathan Paredes come out today to get us online again with our Nest thermostat. He got us online and redid the app on my phone. Everything works beautifully again. He was so nice and explained everything he was doing. I would definitely ask for him again should we need service with anything. We have been with Canoga air for many many years. Excellent service. Noel, the technician arrived at about 1:00pm. He checked the heater, insulation and that the vents were closed. He also told me that the air-conditioning would need some fixing but that we could wait until the weather was warmer. He also changed the filters. he seemed very thorough.

So I had to file it under canoga heating and air in doing so, if you continue to harass me, I will go ahead and contact an attorney. I have no problem taking the time to make sure to scammers like you do not take advantage of people. You were not the company that provided my service Canoga heating and airways and they did receive payment. Stop contacting me, Ive already filed up complaint. The next one will be with the Attorney Generals office....Thank you so much for understanding the situation and fixing it. Its never worth a complaint or a review to have an unhappy customer. Sebastian was excellent! One quibble: They force their technicians to do a little too much sales work after the initial service/inspection. Sometimes it feels like youre at Jiffy Lube (where they always try and sell you a filter). That said, the service was thorough and precise, and again, Sebastian was great!

This is the second time weve used Canoga Park H&AC. The first time was for a new central air and heating system for our house; the second time was for split units for our studio area. Both times we were extremely pleased with the service, the installation, and the attention to detail that CPHAC provided. To cap it off, the price was reasonable too! We recommended them to our neighbor who also used them and was pleased. From start to finish we feel they were top notch. Highly recommended!

I have a service contract and I was thinking that it might be time for the semi- annual service. Before I got a chance to call them, they called me! They set up a convenient appointment; the technicians arrived early in the time window. They went up on the roof; the AC and the heat came on in turns and they were done!I’ve always had great service from them— beginning about 10 years ago when my AC went out on the 4th of July and they came out on the holiday to fix it!

Im a Long-time customer, probably 20+ years. That should be enough to convince anyone how good of a company they are. All the technicians are knowledgeable and thorough. They are friendly and trustworthy. I see them every 6 months for maintenance and when an emergency comes up, they do their best to show up asap! And isnt it always when its 110 degrees that your A/C goes out? They seem to always show up the same day though. Recently installed a new heat pump and the original service was exceptional. I have used MIghtyServ (previously Canoga Park Heating AC) for many years for purchase and installation of new HVAC system. From the sales person, to the installers, to the inspectors ...all were highly responsive and professional. They are willing to work with you to meet competitor prices.On the installation all was to code. After the install, their quality technician spent 4 hours to ensure the work was properly done. Finally, a third party is used to conduct HERS testing and the final City Inspection. You truly are in good hands.

Our AC went out for one long miserable hot week. Canoga AC wasn’t the only company we called to get it checked out but they are the ones we chose. They throughly checked and tested our entire system and gave us all the info we needed. We replaced out entire unit but felt no pressure about our decision. As far as installation every single person on the team was great from the person who brought us a portable AC to use to the manager of the the entire project to the tech who came for one final adjustment of the system before the city’s inspection. So we highly recommend Canoga AC. Their prices were comparable to other companies and we knew their team would support us thru every aspect of this important purchase.

I have an old AC that needed some TLC, and had the coupon. They came out, did a check and some maintenance. Was advised that while the unit was 20 years old and five years past the expected longevity, it was fine for the moment. No hard sell, no pressure, and it does feel like the AC is running better. I called Canoga Park Heating & Air Conditioning on Sunday morning and left a message, knowing they would not be open until Monday. But they called me back on Sunday afternoon! Service Date 06/2023. Back Story: In 2017 Canoga Heating and Air Conditioning successfully fixed our system and got it running again - having replace some older equipment/parts. That was five years ago. Recently, we felt it time to check that the system was running at full efficiency so we called them back again for a routine check.I was stunned to hear technician, xxxx, say the system was “over-charged” and would cost $500 to fix. If he had stated the system was undercharged, that I’d understand because it’s been 5 years since last serviced and repaired by this company. If “over-charged” is accurate, then this means that after they repaired the system 2017, they left it over-charged - no one has touched the system since.The diagnosis seemed a bit strange anyways. To be safe and for my records I asked the tech for a copy of the test results, I was told that I couldn’t have it. I mentioned that I was paying for the diagnosis and asked why not? I was told to call the office, which I did, but never received a reply. My question is why the secrecy…Recommendation to Company: If after testing and reporting hvac system issues that are going to cost money to fix, and to avoid the possible appearance of looking sketchy, please back up your reports with test results given to the customer e.g., Car dealerships = diagnostic reports. Investments = gains and loss reports. Doctor = lab reports. Dentist = x-rays and insurance billing, etc. Thank you.

I spent $14,000 for a new unit 6 years ago. For the last 2 years, They repaired the same frayed wire problem at a high cost. Yesterday, after another regular maintenance, they came up with multiple issues. The unit was ‘leaking’ and the compressor, under warrantee, was the problem. They want $1500 for labor and $1600 for Freon. I got other quotes from the Carrier website, and they were 1/2 that price! I researched Freon costs, and wow, what a markup! When I called the office to discuss the cost and attempt to get a payment plan, the A-hole operator refused to put me through to a manager unless I told him the problem. I was angry, and he again refused to put me through and told me I should call back when I was less angry! Well let me tell you, Sir, I won’t call back, but I will share my story with EVERYONE WHO WILL LISTEN. Do not use Canoga Park HVAC! They are overpriced and incompetent. If you can’t give good customer service, you won’t get a good customer, again!

In the sweltering summer heat, it is Impressive how I got a response within the hour of my request for an AC that doesn’t work. Furthermore, the technician arrived within the time-frame given to me and the work done in less than 2 hours!! We give Andrew Bueno 5 stars for being courteous and for explaining what caused the problem. And though emergencies always cost more- he gave us tips on HVAC maintenance, which is key to preventing many problems.

I have had them over the years service my heating and A/C. Dave came out to give me a bid to put in dual heating and A/C. He was so informative, professional and knowledgeable. I love the job they did. They were clean, fast and so accommodating. One year later now I had an issue and they came out...no questions asked and fixed the issue at no cost to me. No arguing but just a friendly attitude and Bob said “We need to get a team out immediately” which they did. And the issue had nothing to do the the dual heating or A/C. Since day 1, I have had a great experience with Canoga Park Heating & Air Conditioning. When I first bought my home, the AC went shot in a couple months. CPHAC came in and presented me with a lot of options and they installed a brand new AC unit for my condo. It worked great! Their staff calls me every so often to schedule maintenance and they are always on top of it. My AC was not cooling this morning (LA Summer) and I panicked. I set up an appointment online and they called me immediately. Our AC was intermittently leaking water and we called them up and they let us reschedule when the AC started behaving and then sent someone out very fast when we let them know it was misbehaving again. Miguel was skilled and professional and let me know how everything worked even though I (scientist) was probably bugging him with question after question. The dispatch fee covered what was thankfully only a clogged drain but they will be our first call when our old AC dies for real.

On July 28 these people came to do an estimate at my home. They had to order a part. Then they came to install the part and it was the wrong size. Then they ordered another part. I had to call them several times to find out if the new part was here. Then when it finally did arrive on August 23, they said they couldnt come out until Sept 13 to install it. Got their name from Carrier for a certified Carrier technician. From reception and scheduling to service technician this was an amazing experience. Came out next day 8am. Received text appt confirmation, text with photo ID of technician for 30 minute on the way notification. Johnny knew pretty much right away our mother board was fried. Had to wait.5 days for it to come from somewhere else (in the country (not In Canoga Park’s control) to ship but they ordered it while Johnny was still at my houseand had a ship date for me. Before he left the house. Follow through with the scheduler was great, he reserved my repair date ahead of the part arriving. I called a few days later to check status of the part and it was in. I asked if they could come today instead of tomorrow’s pre scheduled appt. He was able to come within the hour and had the ac cooling within 45 minutes of being here. Will definitely use again.

So far, I got a decent estimate for duct replacement. Waiting to finalize estimate and schedule the job! Duct work was reasonably good. However, it took several calls and visits to straighten out a compressed duct in order for it to work correctly.Technician came same day for heater problem and adjusted the unit so it was able to work again.June 12th: My free a/c tune-up turned into a costly repair because I didnt say No and postpone it for a second estimate/opinion. I called because I have a clog somewhere between the drip pan and the drainage hose in my unit, and specifically said thats why I needed service.The technician did the basic cleaning ( a service I DID NOT request ) and did not fix the clog, gave some malarkey about how he cant fix it and offered no follow up or resolution. They charged me for the work they did ( again work that wasnt requested ).Not even a day later theres water dropping because the clog is back. They said this was a reoccurring issue and required daily maintenance however in 5 years the only time we had any issue like this was in 100+ degree summer weather and even then the leak was minimal in comparison.I called to let them know the job they did didnt work and they needed to come fix it as it was leaking water worse than when I made the appointment. and EVEN THOUGH IT WAS THEIR MISTAKE I have to wait almost a week for them to send a second opinionThey are already more expensive then local competition, but this ignorance and lack of service in top of that is inexcusable.

I purchased my HVAC system from Canoga Park heating and A/C a while ago and they have kept it running perfectly for many years. Of course, after over ten years of no problems, my A/C decided to have a system malfunction, at night, while the weather reports were predicting 100 plus temperatures in two days. I called Canoga Park Heating and A/C in the morning and to my surprise, not only could they come that day, but they would be there by 1pm. We followed their app, knew who was coming and could tell how far away Kevin was and when he arrived at the house... so we could mask up! Kevin quickly found the problem, told me the approx. cost, but said it required parts that might not be in stock. He asked for a minute to check and came back to tell me, not only were the parts in the warehouse, but they were less expensive than he thought. YAY! Then he told me he could pick up the parts first thing in the morning, but had to check the schedule and I should call, if I hadnt heard back by 3pm. I am so sorry I dont remember the name of the woman I spoke to, because she was wonderful. She put me on hold while she checked with Kevin, and came back to tell me he would be here between 8-8:30am. I was beyond grateful. Kevin, our super hero, arrived the next morning, fixed the system in record time and just as the temperature started to rise outside.....The temperature inside was coming down. I would say that this was the most stress free emergency service Ive ever experienced. He came with the appropriate PPE and did a thorough job checking the cooling unit and air handler as well as fixing a minor vibration on the panels of the external cooling unit. Johnny from Canoga Park Heating and air did a phenomenal job. Our AC died at night during a July heat wave. An emergency tech came out from a different place and said we needed a new unit. We opted for a second opinion. The next morning we called Canoga Park Heating and Air. They gave us a same day appointment. Johnny came out and diagnosed our problem and made an appointment for the following morning to do the 2+ hour repair. He fixed our AC, replacing a few parts and saving us literally thousands. We will absolutely recommend and use them again!!!

Eddie the service tech did well, except for tracking leaves in. He was very helpful at explaining some things that I can do my self to save on $$. He was also friendly and good worker. Only trouble area is getting a receipt with my correct name and address on it. Started with wrong first name, last name, city, and zip on both billing and Job address. After three tries by email to get corrected receipt, they still have wrong first name on Job address, but I am giving up on it. I am glade Eddies knowledge of AC is better than their ability to write receipts.

We just had a routine heating and air conditioning maintenance visit with Johnny. He came with the appropriate PPE and did a thorough job checking our system. Johnny is very knowledgeable, detailed and patient. He always takes the time to explain everything and answer any questions we may have regarding our large systems. Allen arrived and was very friendly. He explained everything he intended to check and thoroughly went about his business checking the AC refrigerant level and operating controls of the outside unit. He gently washed the fins of the exterior unit for better air flow.He also checked the forced air component inside and temperature levels coming from all room vents. Very professional!

Overall we are very happy with the service we received from Canoga Park. They installed an entire new HVAC system to replace our non-functioning evaporative cooler and old furnace.When Dave came out to give us the estimate he was extremely knowledgable and understood what we were looking for. He was able to get us a great system without taking us over our budget.Throughout the install the team was very respectful and covid conscious. This was our first experience with Canoga Park Heating & Air Conditioning. We have relatively new Lennox units and have been remodeling so needed one hooked back up and needed some duct work tweaked on the other. Dave was on time, courteous, incredibly knowledgeable and honest. He spent time getting up to speed on what we needed and absolutely acted in my best interest when he told me that while hed love to have our business, we would be better reaching out to our original Lennox dealer. He then offered possible solutions for our duct work. I tried to pay for a service call and he simply said the visit was complementary and that their philosophy is not a customer for the day, its a customer for life. I am sad we arent able to work with Dave and Canoga Park Heating & A/C. I highly recommend them! In addition to Daves amazingness, the company texts reminders and alerts when the technician is on his way. They include a photo of whos coming as well. A top notch company! We have been using Canoga Park Heating and Air Conditioning since 2013 for routine service and repairs. We have old units (1979 and 1986) and theyve had no issue fixing them for us. We had Dave out today to give us an estimate on a new air conditioner and furnace. He was on-time, professional and the price was fair. We highly recommend Dave and this company.After getting quotes from 3 different HVAC companies, we decided to contract with Dave at CPHAC for new Carrier furnace and AC equipment. Our heating unit went out on one of the coldest nights this winter. This company couldnt initially come out the same day but while I was calling around, they called me back and was able to come out that morning. Their service man, Kevin, was very polite and efficient in assessing the problem. He had to order and pick up a part but was back as quickly as could be expected. Technician Kevin Castro came to check on my furnace that was not working. After checking it, he determined that the inducer motor needed to be replaced. They offered a very inflated recommended package of about $2400 where they also wanted to replace the igniter and add a surge protector to protect my investment. Without the surge protector: $2100, and the so called band-aid option of simply replacing the motor inducer: $818. Keep in mind that a new furnace would be under $2000. When I asked what is the cost of the part, he would not say. Long story short: The cost of ordering online the original motor inducer is $56 and the igniter $25. Replacing them consists of removing a few allen screws and reattaching cables. Avoid at all cost unless you want to pay an exhorbitant surplus in labor.

Id been struggling with my Nest thermostat for a couple weeks--restarting, reprogramming--before I called Canoga Park Heating and Air. Why didnt I call them sooner???? Our A/C was making a hissing sound. The CP Heating and Air Conditioning company contractor told us that whole system needs to be replaced including ducts and the a/c unit. The price was $23k.We called another company, they said there is nothing wrong with our ducts and only a blowing motor needs to be repaired and it is going to cost us $300.$23,000 vs $300, what a huge difference. Do not call this company, don’t work with them: Canoga Park Heating and AC.
