My experience, I would say, more than excellent. Very calm, clean office, friendly people. But the most important super talented doctor, Dr. Chiang. He managed to redo my half way done roots with some instruments left inside so perfectly and with no pain. So I’m very happy to find this doctor.

Very professional and caring. I was kept aware of their procedures from beginning to end. I was very impressed with their modern equipment, including a cat scan just for your teeth and gums. I had a root canal done, and I was in and out of the office in less than 2 hours. I highly recommend Dr Mazdey.

Dr. Mazdey is kind and understanding and listened to all my concerns. He recommended a root canal retreatment and was able to see me very quickly. The procedure was painless and was done in 1/3 of the time quoted. It was a little rough at times with pushing and pulling which caused me to be slightly stressed during the procedure but there was no pain. I really can’t complain because the procedure was a great success. Very happy with Dr. Mazdey and his team. I would absolutely recommend the office to a friend and family member.

Nobody wants a root canal but if you need one, this is the place to go. Mine was handled by Dr Maria Dakessian who was polite & professional. She answered all my questions, made sure I was comfortable before starting. Outside of some normal discomfort post-op, it was smooth and painless. Hope I don’t have to go back - but if I do need another procedure, I would go here.

Office staff and doctors were very friendly. Made me feel comfortable with all the questions and requests I had regarding my insurance. I definitely would recommend. I had a root canal and omg I have to say I felt so at ease, doctor made sure to ask me every few minutes if I was ok, and being pregnant asking if baby felt good too, made me feel so much better and relaxed. She was great.

He and the staff explain what theyre going to do beforehand (great for nervous patients like myself) and allowed the time to ask questions to ease tension. Friendly Front Desk!This matters to me, BIG TIME.Emailed intake paperwork to finish before arrival, I appreciate that.Tho the fee for a canceled appointment seems steep(!) (?) I can’t imagine breaking an appointment, but for an emergency, or scheduling issue, that seems a bit harsh!Especially when my apartment took so long & I heard them rescheduling w another.So you can break an appointment w in 24hrs bc of an issue, but we’d be charged?That’s not a positive mark for me.That, and having to ask for a key to a restroom, which has no hook for bags or jackets… pretty tragic.However the POSITIVEs outweigh the negatives.Easy to locate and park at lot behind, in a medical building.As I said, friendly, professional & clean office. Didn’t feel like they were coning me or swindling/up charging or getting money off some “membership” (looking at you Bright Now / TLC Smiles)Good work and friendly people!!!Would recommend.

I got a root canal here and Dr. Chiang was super sweet. I grew up in the 90s when dentists got in your mouth very aggressively. This Dr. was very caring and took his time. I kinda fell in love. It was overall as good of an experience as one can have while getting their tooth drilled into.

I just had a root canal done here and it was 1000% painless. Dr Chiang and Maria were so helpful and talked me through the entire process.Years ago I had a root canal procedure (at a different dentist office of course) that traumatized me so much from how painful it was that I didn’t go to the dentist again for 3 years. The root canal I had today completely reversed my fear of root canals it was absolutely painless and everyone in the office is so nice. They said the procedure would take an hour to an hour and a half and they completed in less than an hour. Thank you so so much for your service 1000/10 would recommend anyone to come here for whatever they need done and is offered at Mid Valley!

I had my first root canal done. I was extremely nervous about feeling pain since I already felt discomfort. Doctor was amazing, made me feel at ease and pain management was on target. I felt no pain. The receptionists/techs are very nice and explain the copays very well.I usually get nervous when doing x-rays and work done on my teeth however the tech was patient with me.I recently had a root canal and the procedure wasn’t as painful as I have heard. Pain level was a 3 out of 10 for this. I do need to go back for another root canal however I know what to expect and don’t mind going back soon.

She listened to me as far as my concern about pain and administered the proper amount of septa cane I requested ( I don’t even know if I spelled this right) but it did the trickshe made sure she waited till everything was numb before she did her magic and she has A great bedside manner and is very good at what she does. I had no pain during the entire root canal procedure nor afterwards and everything was explained to me in Laymans terms. Appointments were easily accessible, they did their best to accommodate patients by keeping us in separate rooms instead of putting us in the waiting room. The staff is friendly and sincerely seem to like each other and working there. My procedure was painless and they followed up with phone calls to see how I was doing. My dentist and her assistant were an amazing team. Parking is plentiful and the office pays most of it.

Hello, my experience was good but it can be better. The staff were nice and polite. The dentist is an excellent Dr. I had a root canal on my upper right side. I would like that next time Dr. Will let me know what he is going to put in my mouth because he put me a thick green plastic on my lower mouth that was pinching my lips very hard. Also, I would like that dentist will tell me what is he doing at the moment of the procedure and how much time he needs to finish.

Ive had dental work done here twice in the last 6 months and overall I have nothing but good things to say. Everyone is very friendly and professional. You are treated with kindness and care while you are there, both in the waiting room and in the patient chair. I have had two root canals and I didnt feel a thing during both procedures which was such a relief considering how much pain I was in before having the work done! They take major credit cards and care credit which is nice, especially for someone like me who has to pay out of pocket. I was also able to get in super quick (within 5 days the first time and the next day the second time) whereas with my regular dentist, they were booked out a month or more in advance!During my last experience there just a few days ago, I was already feeling anxious about having to get yet another root canal and while waiting for the numbing to kick in, a woman in the waiting room got pretty rowdy (political talk unrelated to her treatment at the office) and it made my anxiety go through the roof. When the dental assistant came in to check on me she, she noticed distress right away and did everything she could to make me feel better. Then when the doctor came in to do the procedure he came in with such a calming voice and truly sympathized with me. The combination of those things really put me at ease. He gave me extra time to relax before proceeding. It was nice to know that they care about how their patients feel and werent just trying to rush me in and out for a quick buck!The only cons I can think of is unrelated to the care. The parking lot isnt the greatest. It can be packed at certain times and its a timed lot so you need validation, which they do provide. The guy working the booth is super sweet though, and there is parking at the front of the building that are not metered, so there are options. Also there is only 1 elevator and its small so if youre trying to be socially distant, that can be a challenge. However there are stairs and I have taken them 7 out of 8 times Ive been there and I beat the elevator up each time so again... theres options!Overall, Id highly recommend Mid Valley Endodontics for root canals!

I was very apprehensive to have a root canal done, but Dr. Mazdey put me at rest immediately. He and Mary, the assistant, kept me well informed as they proceeded to do the root canal. Dr Mazdey is wonderful. He redid my root canal that a general dentist did years ago. The procedure was quick and painless. Everyone at the office is always polite and caring. Precision, technique, skill, knowledge, method!!!! If I could I would give this doctor 10 stars.I have done 2 root canals with doctor Mazdey and both experiences were great. One was a new root canal and the other one was a re-treat of an old root canal done some where else. I have done a few root canals in other places starting really early age and had horrible experiences with other dentists and painful recovery. Doctor Mazdey is one skilled doctor! Unfortunately I didnt have a good experience with this place !I had two appointments with them, on the first appointment i was waiting in the cold waiting room for 30 minutes for only 3 minuts visit with a specialist and second time i was waiting in the same cold waiting room for 45 minues for 30 minuts treatment. Price is too high and custumer service isnt that great and the dental exam rooms arent so advanced and some of there Dental furnitures are so old and need to be reupholstery. Also i did not see state board certification on the wall and that made me very uncomfortable.I paid $1250 for that 33 minuts treatment and on top of that i had to pay parking fee as well. Sorry to say that but I would not recommend this place for my family members and friends.

I went in for a consultation for a tooth that had been bugging me for over a month the consultation lasted about 10 minutes. I needed a root canal they scheduled me 30 minutes later as I was in horrible pain the process took about 30 minutes haven’t had pain on my tooth since, even after the anesthesia wore of. My daughter had to get two treatments to remove an infection from a tooth where she had a root canal years ago and she was so scared but in so much pain. I was so nervous while waiting for her in the waiting room and when she came out the first thing she said was “it didn’t even hurt”. She’s the best! Our experience at Mid Valley Endodontics was great! My daughter has been experiencing pain and they got her in for a consultation right away! Dr. Mazdey was very professional, he explained everything thoroughly and was very caring. He was gentle with my daughter and answered all of our questions with the upmost professionalism and knowledge. His front office staff Jessie and Tina were very welcoming from the start and made us feel comfortable. We wont be going anywhere but here for any root canal treatments needed. They are the most trustworthy specialty office Ive ever encountered.

The staff are all very nice and pleasant! I had 2 other Root canals with a different Endodontist and my experience was not pleasant at all. Dr. Mazdey was very professional. I had absolutely no pain!! Yes the noise is uncomfortable but did I mention no pain!! LOL The recovery is not even as close to what I previously experienced. I have been to Mid Valley twice and both of my visits were outstanding, again considering this is for dental services. Went in for a Root Canal, not so fun right? Dr. Maria is THE BEST professional I have ever had the pleasure to come across. She is efficient, friendly, and her work is spot on. From novacaine, to making sure you are comfortable, she covers all bases. I highly recommend her for the Root Canal. With her the procedure was painless, minus the small pinch for novocaine on the roof of my mouth. The ladies in the front are awesome as well, very efficient, and work well under pressure. They always have your paperwork ready to go, and if you have a copay that information is all spelled out prior to your procedure. When you get a referral from another doctor, including X rays & already the note of what work must be done, You should not get charged for a consult if there was not consulting once over. This Doctor charged $ 95.00 consulting fee when I was referral along with my X rays & wanted to charged me $ 200 dollars more, But since I did not get the job done here, He sent me to collections & sill have the decency to add interest on top of the $95.00 dollars for a non consulting date. It must be so much important $ 95.00 then to keep a customer doing business, they might need the money so bad that I paid along with the interest for a non consulting doctors appointment. Thank you for you poor customer service and poor ethic handling your referrals from other Doctors.
