They have a wide variety of stationery, home decor and craft items with great discounts.They also have a UPS pickup and a drop off point here. The staff are always kind and friendly.One of my favorite places to shop.

The new self checkout is okay. But when I asked the cashier (only one there) how to use the coupon, since it didn’t scan, she rolled her eyes and told me to just scan. I figured out those coupon you found from their website, you need to type the numbers.So rude. I will never come back to this place

This has been my go-to Michaels for a couple of years now. Its always clean and well organized so I have no trouble finding what I want. But sometimes I do get lost when Im looking for a craft material that Ive never purchased before and I would ask employees; and I dont know whats their magic but they will always know where it is! Even the aisle numbers hahaha. Also as a cherry on top, the cashiers are always lovely 🩷 They are so nice that Ive never left the store feeling unhappy or unsatisfied.

Stopped in for some Christmas Garland and WOW, do they have it covered! They had Red, White, Silver and Multi, in long strands. And to top it off...it was 50% off!!Well it is up so high, that I had to find an associate to get it down for me. I didnt have to look far. A young lady was more than happy to help. I also bought 2 poles of Wrapping paper, (BOGO)!! Smart placement!But what was REALLY IMPRESSIVE?? When I walked in, there was hand sanitizer and wipes. AND when I got up to the register; the cashier was wiping down and sanitizing the counter, in between customers!! And there is also a plastic shield up for safety. Very impressive and I felt safe shopping there.I HATE craft stores with a passion, but Michaels has a new customer.

I work as a cashier for Michaels in Milpitas, however, I visited the Sunnyvale branch when I learned a friends grandfather passed away. I immediately went shopping for a guest sign in book and photo frame for the funeral. I was in regular clothes, so the people who were assisting had no idea i worked at an alternate branch. The staff was super nice and helpful in assisting to find items needed.

Got really great painting supplies, really good quality paints and colors. Was such a delight shopping here.They have awesome deals on printed photo frames(one or the other kind, metal photo printing in a frame, printed photo on wood framed), strongly suggest using them.Awesome collection of fake flowers. Look almost as good as real. If anyone is interested in painting, or crafts, a must go place.

I always like to shop at Michaels they have a lot of sales . When I shoo there I get a lot of products for the money I spend. The store is clean and very organized. I will say that I was very pleased and surprised to see only one person in line ahead of me. That has never been the Norm as there usually are too long of lines. I would say STILL the go-to place for all things art & craft, and ingredients for handmade stuff! They stuff is not cheap - in price or quality - and they do carry premium brands however, I dont think this is the place for the upper level artisan to get their supplies at - mainly for everyday, basic and intermediate crafters

Michaels is a retail store for crafting and art supplies. I have purchased items at several Michaels stores in California. My impresión of their staff is lack luster, as they have never gone above and beyond, from my asking about where to find certain items to how to make a variety of crafts. They point to an area and it is up to the customer to locate what you are looking for. They are definitely a DIY store.

This place, like all Michaels stores, has SERIOUSLY got to install a self-check line. They HAVE to. Every other retailer in the Western Hemisphere has installed a self-check line, so I dont know whats stopping them; its time to get with the program & move to the 21st Century. Sure, the stores themselves have a nice selection of items, but then they totally screw themselves by hiring the slowest, pokiest & least-competent cashiers in all of retail. Its not brain-surgery, yet the simple act of simply scanning the barcode of an item, ringing it up & taking payment for it from the customer is handled as if its a major international multi-partner trade-negotiation. So as much as Id like to give this store a higher rating than this, in all honesty I can give them no better than a one-star rating for the lousy service at check-out.

This rating is not for this specific Michaels but rather for all Michaels. I wish that we had a real dedicated art supply store near the area, but instead we just have Michaels. Michaels doesnt contain all the different brands seen at more professional art craft stores. It just carries the generic brand, mostly their Artist Loft brand. I came for some sketchbooks that arent spiral-bound or pads, but the only option for that is their Artist loft. And its not great. Michaels use to have great coupons but now that theyve run other art competitor stores out of the area, theyve cut back on those coupons. The result is now we are left with this generic craft store and their generic brand.

I like this Michaels. Its pretty clean and pretty well stocked and organized. Strip mall style parking lot. Lots of parking. Ive been here three times this month. They were out of Angelus paint, completely, which I thought was odd. So, I had to order a 12 pack online. Im torn buying online because I dont want my brick and mortar stores to go away... I ended up buying some Liquitex basic acrylic to hold me over,.. Not too bad. Its my first time using their product. I prefer Angelus but for the price not bad.

Did you know if you purchased something using your reward and have to return it even the same day you lose want ever amount of rewards. I returned 3 things that was the same per item or$5.99 but the return price was $3.50.so I had to pay $5. more. When they could have done it as even exchangeI even talked to the manager. Michaels - pretty much all the same as others. The prices are a bit high but they have frequent coupons. I was there to get a scratch off poster framed. The framers were very helpful, good at explaining the process, and efficient. I got my frame back in less than 24 hours.There were plenty enough staff around the store to ask questions if you needed help.

This is my favorite place to wander. I get inspired every time I walk in with the huge variety of different craft and art projects. The air is always PERFECT no matter how hot or cold it is outside. The staff is always super helpful on floor but also they dont hound you every second either which is perfect if you prefer to wander. The counter is super huge but I keep having the had luck of arriving when there are only one or two people working at the registers so be prepared for a line!

One stop for all craft and home decoration stuffs. May be slightly in higher price side but arrangements and layout helps customers visualize the decoratations using objects at store. I think this unique point sets stores like these apart from bug e-commerce like Amazon. Not many staff around and but all of them are helpful. This store has a variety of DIY items of all type, Knitting, decor items, candles, paints, canvas, wooden boards, fabric, stickers, postcards, party items... almost everything. Its a bit on the pricy side. But has great quality material. I was only disappointed with the variety in acrylic and water paints, they only have very few options.

This is a new Michaels (2019). I like it there in that location. It replaced the Rite Aid next to Safeway but im on with that.As always, a great selection! Not as big as some of theyre other stores but well stocked.Staff was on point, friendly and helpful. But like all Michaels staff is a little thin.Michaels tends to be a little pricey on some items, but the ever ready online coupon for 40 percent off one regular priced item makes it hard to resist lol. I usually like this Michaels but today, this Michaels upset me. First, the tall young man with dark hair, thin build, soft voice tone... told me to move up... I am a teacher and saw my students and I took a minute or 2 to say Hi... he rudely interrupted and said... Can u move up so others can get by. NO ONE WAS BEHIND US. NO ONE WAS MOVING IN THE LINE EITHER. Then, I went to his register and he told me he could NOT take my coupon, from the Michaels website because it was not his store coupon. I was frustrated!I got out of line... took 20 mins more to look for a coupon from sunnyvale store. Had to sign up on my phone for 25% off coupon. Then went in line again! 5 more mins of a line! Went to a girl cashier and she was more than helpful....only to be told that the 25% off coupon on my phone is only valid for online purchase. She knew I was even more frustrated... but she was nice enough to let me use my original 30% off coupon for my time and inconvenience.If not for her, I would never return to this Michaels. Didnt get her name, but she was about 52, and a star customer service cashier. It was around 3:36pm on Sunday, Feb. 21, 2021, should u want to recognize her for her wonderful customer support! Kudos to that female cashier!

These guys a crooks. My fiance went here and was told that their pos wasnt working correctly. She was asked to try a different card which didnt work, however the other registers were working fine. So she left to get cash and came back to purchase her items only to find out that both of her cards had been charged even though they were declined. When she brought this error to the store managers attention she basically said you SOL. When customer service was contacted she was told you have to wait 7-10 business days for a response. This is unacceptable, poor management, sales accociates who are not properly trained. She did get her money back eventually which should have been handled better to begin with.

What can I say...its Michaels. It has all your basic craft supplies at a relatively good price, its convenient, arranged like every other Michaels store in the USA, so you should have no problems finding those emergency pipe cleaners and balls of yarn when far from home.

Awkward setup of aisles. The one coupon per customer rule is stupid. Especially since it says one coupon of the same type per customer. They wouldnt let me use a %off regular priced item coupon, and a %off coupon for a spacific brand item within the same order of multiple different things. Restroom was awful. Smelled terrible and some things were lacking supplies or flat out broken.

The store is smaller than most Micheals. Its also not very well organized, and items can be hard to find. The aisles are narrow, so pushing a cart can be a challenge. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Only 3 stars due to items placed in the wrong spot with the wrong price & when I argued the fact that several of the same item I attempted to purchase for a lower price are in the spot I got it from, they would not honor the price that they were in fault for!Also, when I asked a question as to why they dont carry refills for an item that they sell, no-one could give me an answer!

Great Michael’s store, I was used to the old store near Hollenbeck/Pastoria. It doesn’t feel as good like the old store but it definitely is more modern and has more stock, mire crafty than artsy like the old Michael’s. They are a bit exaggerated with the Cov-SARS-2 situation though.

Their framing department has only one staff and he is always busy. Ive gone there twice and both times after standing in line for a long time, was sent away.
