Every so often you come across an individual who is so kind and courteous and provides incredible customer service. That individual is Chris in the framing department at Michaels in La Verne. Went to get a poster paper and came out with a cart full of stuff lol. They had an 80% off sale on Summer Camp Activity sets. Always love a sale! Most I paid was $2 on 3 draw on shirts. Everything else 20c .40c and .80cLove going just to walk around I can be there for hours!

Went for a quick stop. The shelves were being stocked for the upcoming events like Valentine, Easter and St Patricks Day. Shelves were somewhat empty. Staff was helpful. It was well organised. But may need more cleanliness.

I really love Michaels. They offer such a huge variety of art, craft, and DIY materials in a variety of quality levels based on the skill of the artist purchasing. Its one of the details that might go unnoticed when youre running in to pick up a poster board for a kids project... But as an artist thats learned how to appreciate a good paint brush, I love that Michaels gives us the option to upgrade materials and tools in many different mediums.Always check their website for a coupon, its rare when theres not one available.

The nighttime female manager is super rude refused to come up to the register to help when we were having a problem finding my pickup order Which we found out, was canceled try to find a way to fix it, but as I said, she refused to come up to the register and I could hear her over the headset telling her Workers. Oh well, there’s nothing I can do. She will just have to deal with it I don’t know what to tell her. When she did eventually come up her response to it was, it’s not my problem you would have to contact online customer service. If I was to ever shop at Michael’s again, it would never be at the Laverne location again

Michaels is the place to go for crafting, holiday decorating, or if you need some frames! I was there for frames, my girl was there for Christmas decor. I love that you can get a good coupon on your phone and get a bit of a discount. Every little bit helps! Wasnt sure if the coupon was good in store as well as online and instead of asking, I passed and saved by spending nothing! They have a great selection in stock so I decided Ill get the frames next time Im there... hopefully with a good coupon! Though I did see a good offer online and the option to pick up in store... think Ill try that and save me some time cause you can get pretty lost in there!

This is my favorite Michaels. The customer service is great. The employees here, are always willing to help. I get great advice for projects from the employees and fellow customers. The projects they offer for children are fantastic!!!!! They make the seasons and holidays FUN!!!!! The instructors are awesome. They also have great patience!

I used to love Michaels. Now its hard to even go in there anymore. I found myself there the other day and was lucky enough to find some cute bundles of trim on sale!I also found some leather markers. Ive recently taken up leather work and one of I made had a small crack near the stitch line. These seemed perfect!I go to checkout and ask the cashier what happens if these dont work. The markers are a brand I never heard of. oh if you open them its not returnable. Me hope an I going to know they work without opening them and trying them?Cashier Ill ask my managerManager not my problem. We have developed strict return policiesNow I dont think Ive ever returned anything at Michaels. Im a craft hoarder.However, I wasnt about to spend $20 not knowing if I could trust them.So I put them back.I went home and ordered them off Amazon. Saved $4 and had the reassurance to know I can return them if needed.Saddens me to give more money to Amazon. I prefer to support my local stores. However, test me like a thief and Ill never go back.

I just had a bananas experience at Michaels with the cashier Alina. I think if you asked her to add 2 and 2 she would tell you the answer is, Taco Bell!!!! Which makes absolutely no sense and is entirely the point since I spent 15 minutes trying to return an item that was very simple and straight forward but she just could not comprehend. For the sake of all Michaels customers please terminate this employee.

Kelli and Bella were very helpful. They have a very bright warm personality and it kinda through me for a loop. I have had nothing but bad service at this location for many years, actually ever since they remodeled this location. So when Kelli and Bella spoke with me about my membership and helped me with who to call and contact. It really inspired me to shop here again. I recently resigned from my customer service job because I got tired of being yelled at by all the mean customers. So I know there job is hard and thankless. So for me it was a nice experience and will be shopping at Michaels in La Verne again because of those two nice people. :)

So disappointed to even review. The lack of customer service was beyond noticeable. I placed an online order knowing I was going to be running errands. Came in about an hour and a half. Maybe my order was done by now...so I went in. Empty store! So I figured my order was done and waiting for pick up. Nope not even close, one cashier did try and help but came back with the wrong item. Ok no problem waited and I recieved an answer from who I believe was a supervisor to cancel my order online and I can go to the isle(right behind the register area) and get the item myself. I lost out on my coupon and they didnt even apply a courtesy discount. I needed the item for my daughter or else I wouldnt even have bothered buying from this location. DM need to revamp customer service policies and procedures.

Such a great place to purchase and get ideas for crafts. The silk flower is amazing all the colors. The staff is so helpful, when looking for a coupon on your cellphone. I called this Michaels to verify ahead of time that they had the item I was looking for, and the lady on the phone was very nice and helpful. She verified the item was in the store, and let me know I could use the online coupon to make my purchase. My only minor gripe was that she quoted me the wrong price -- which wasnt a problem because it was actually on sale, cheaper! :) When I went in, they still had the item in stock and seemed to be pretty well stocked with all items in comparison to other Michaels stores Ive visited. All in all, I was a pretty happy customer.

This is a great place to find a variety of good quality ready to use or craft items to be made. They have seasonal items, regular items, n gift items. The Filipina manager is very rude. This Michaels sells products they dont even know how to use yet wont give you store credit or anything. The cashier with stringy light brown hair started to raise her voice at me && started to become as disrespectful as her Filipina manager. I wont recommend this Michaels to anyone I know. All the people I know in La Verne who have small businesses will be informed of this behavior so they dont have to endure the racist rude behavior I did.

I came here during the pandemic so they had the touchless drop off, and the woman who dropped off my role of heat transfer had to be one of the rudest individuals I have ever experienced at a place of business. She walked out past my car where there is no trunk so I rolled my window down for them to drop it in there but she decided to walk past my car turn around and throw the roll onto the hood of my car which then rolled onto the ground and out into the parking lot. It was absolutely insane, and if I heard someone tell me the exact same thing there is no way I would believe them because its too absurd but it is 100% true

Curbside pickup.... Im blown away that even in a 2 second interaction a person could be so dismissive and rude. Ive been going to this Michaels for at least a decade and usually have a pleasant experience. I guess it takes a crisis to bring out the worst in people. Customer service still matters even in a pandemic!!!! My items being thrown on my hood is plain disrespectful and rude. Im disappointed that I even had to write a review during this time. My shopping experiences during covid 2020 with other stores has made a customer for life. My home away from home!! Heh heh. A crafters dream isn’t wake up one day and be told they own their own Michaels store!! Or at least that’s my dream! To wake up in bead, yarn scrapbook heaven!! Lol the deals are always great and the fact that they allow you to pile on coupon after coupon to help with the some what steep prices of certain items. Only downfall is that we can’t use the coupons on Cricut supplies or LEGO products. And they rarely go on sale. They should implement a Cricut/ LEGO coupon to the normal four monthly coupons we get in the mail. I use my Cricut constantly as part of my Etsy shop and it kills me to have to buy cutting mats. I mean one mat is $15!!! And tou don’t get a lot of wear from them before they need replacing. Luckily I discovered that ones are much longer lasting then the standard green ones. Who’d of known!! That aside the sales and door busters are awesome. Love this place!!
