Mike is an exceptional realtor who goes above and beyond! Finding a home in today’s market can be extremely stressful, but he really made it an enjoyable and smooth process. He was never pushy & always incredibly honest. We never felt pressured to make a decision, or to buy a home that wasn’t right for us. Once we gave him the green light he moved at lightning speed to contact the sellers agent & prepared an offer for us which was ultimately accepted! He answered questions quickly, listened to what we wanted, and he worked with us all the way through closing & beyond. We can tell he cares that the whole home buying experience goes well for his clients, and he puts in a lot of effort into making sure of it. Aside from being a great, trustworthy & knowledgeable agent, he is also friendly and pleasant to talk to (we felt like we’d known him for years!). I recently inherited a home from my Uncle. I was referred to ReMax by a friend. Luckily, Mike Hulsey gave me a call. Mike always made himself available to answer many questions for me. Most of our transactions have had to be made electronically because Im located out of state. Without hesitation, Mike has gone above and beyond to do research for information that I needed to complete California tax reporting forms and has helped guide me through the unfamiliar real estate laws of an unfamiliar state. Hands down, BEST REALTOR EVER! I had dealt with a different Solano brokerage that just didnt stand behind me as a seller, nor did I feel supported...BUT THEN...I met Mike. My wife and I are active duty Military who just got orders to California. We were in the market to buy our first home and we were blessed to find Mike! From our very first conversation to the last he was kind, respectful, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. If Mike didn’t know an answer there was never any worry because he would get it to us as fast as humanly possible. The most impressive piece is that we coordinated the whole thing on opposite sides of the world with a 14 hour time difference. He was so accommodating and considerate of our challenges trying to get my wife and two sons packed out and simultaneously close on a home. I cannot thank you enough Mike for putting my family and I in our very first home! I assumed once we closed that we wouldn’t hear from him again but get this..he STILL communicates with us checking in to make sure we are taken care of, gave us a house warming gift, and on more than one occasion has brought over a couple tools (since we are waiting for all of our things to get shipped from overseas). If you want an agent with integrity and knowledge Mike is the guy for you. His attention to detail and respect throughout the entire house selling process was invaluable for us. I was certain every step of the way that he not only had our best interests in mind, but brought a mentor mentality for us on the process and how to continue with each step. As a military member I felt appreciated and listened to, and made sure that I knew all avenues that I could with letting go of my house, going so far to even say that in the current market we should’ve rented our property which of course would have done nothing for him. I would recommend him to my closet friends and I know if you used his services you would not be disappointed. My wife and I decided it was time to move due to some family issues making us feel that we needed to be closer to them. We knew this wasnt probably the best time to try and sell a home but felt that wed have try and do what we could. As luck would have it, we were referred to Mike. We made an appointment with him to come look at our home to give us an idea of what we could sell it for, knowing that in this market, what was good today may not be good a week from now. Due to us needing to wait for our new home to be finished, we decided on a plan of listing our house as coming soon. Mike thought wed possibly get some agents that had buyers in the market the chance to come see it before it hit the market. Long story, short, this turned out to be a great plan as we ended up selling the home to a couple that came to look at it during that time.Throughout the process, Mike was always communicative, attentive and asked for our input, not just pushing his agenda. Mike was a referral to us and initially I was very apprehensive to use a new agent. We used our previous agent for our last two moves. He came highly recommended and so we thought why not listen to what he has to say. When he came over and looked at our house his product knowledge and market knowledge was quickly apparent. We purchased our home 7 years ago and were represented by Michael and had a five star experience. Last month, were fortunate to have the opportunity to purchase the house next door to ours for my mother in law. I would like to share my thought on Michael Hulsey. My Mom lost her home in the Paradise campfire and was very unsure on where to relocate I live in Vacaville and my Brother who also lost his home in the fire was able to purchase a home in Chico. I started out just wanting to price homes and see what was out there to have some information for my Mom to have. I filled in my info on a realtor web site of interest in looking and was immediately inundated with calls from various realtors “Did I want to sell? Did I need Financing? Did I have Cash?” I explained the situation to each and was meet with an I am sorry attached with lots of pressure to start the house hunt for my Mom. Then I received a call from Mike I receive the custom “I am sorry” but attached to it was true genuine caring. We talked and he understood this was a process of just needing information and not really in need to buy right away. Well mike true to his word took me off the call list and customized my search list and gladly showed us a few homes that I thought she might want to see. Mikes first concern was what my Mom wanted and what her Home she had was like and what did she want to possible want to recreate in a new home. Mike listened openly and was so easy to talk with. On a off chance of looking a newly listed property that I was sure she would hate my Mom feel in Love with it. Michael sold my house in Fairfield in one weekend with a full priced offer. The video and pictures were amazing and surely helped with the sale of my property. Michael personally oversaw the entire transaction from the appraisal, inspection, escrow, and any questions I had about the process.He also helped me get my new home in Vacaville. I had to sell a property and he was able to secure a sale with a contingent offer. When I was ready to sell my home, I asked a good friend who is a mortgage lender, out of the many area realtors, who she would recommend. The only name she gave me was Mike. And I am so glad she did. Mike was very knowledgeable, confident, and professional. When the first offer fell through at the 11th hour, he kept me calm as I was freaking out. He got right back to work and within a week we had 3 more(and even better) offers. He made the process pretty painless and I always felt that he was working for my best interest. We spent a year looking for the right property. I had a long list of must-haves: pool, North Vacaville, 5 bedrooms w/1 downstairs...on and on. I saw every property in Vacaville that fit my needs list, hadnt found the one, and we were honestly getting tired of searching.Josh texted me at 7am on that fateful morning and told me hed FOUND IT. I told him to get me the first appt. He called me back and let me know I had been offered the 11am appt, but when I insisted on an earlier appt, he made it happen. Long story short, by the time the next potential buyers were touring, wed seen the house, written a personal letter, and were in the Brokers office writing a offer that was so strong we ended up going into contract that afternoon.One thing the staff at the Brokerage said that resonated with me was, what is the dollar amount youre willing to lose this house over? Buying a house can be stressful and overly emotional, and the team made sure we kept the finish line in sight instead of getting stuck on tiny details that overly complicate the process. I hope Josh had unlimited minutes on his cell plan that month, because I bet he spent most of the month reassuring me that we would make it through the escrow process and the house would be ours. With only a 7 day inspection period, there was a true sense of urgency, and the morning after our offer was accepted, Josh had inspectors at the house. He arranged every inspection for us, met us and the professionals at the home, and was a very engaged and thorough part of the process. Josh and his office helped facilitate everything, from helping me get our insurance in place to making sure our loan stayed on track.We closed on time, signed the paperwork a day early, and he had the key to me by 5pm on closing day. Josh is a great agent to work with, and his calm, reassuring demeanor and cheerful personality helped me survive this very stressful process.
