Merus Case is a solid case management software program. It works very very well for simple two-party litigation, such as Personal Injury and Workers Compensation. There are multiple functions that permit you to manage case progress, check on staff tasks, and create automated workflows. It integrates well with Gmail. Some of the services like Calendar integrate better with Apple OS. Merging functions are so-so, but they are able to help build merge documents for you. Customer service is a bit spotty, but they will eventually get back to you and are knowledgeable.

I am the owner of a law firm with 10 attorneys and about the same number of staff members. We have three offices located throughout Southern California. When I opened up the firm, we went with Prolaw. I have used Meruscase for more than a year now. It has been great. It allows instant access to all the files. As the managing partner, I can get a quick update on where cases are at. During staff meetings, I can just pull up the cases and see e-mails in the matter, docs in the matter, etc. The tech support is great. We received training from Juan Carlos. He was great. We shopped around a lot for the right case management software and Meruscase is by far the best. We do both civil employment litigation and workers comp.

Merus Case is absolutely the best law firm software in my opinion but its only as good as the support team that is there to help their users! I had the pleasure of being assisted by Ms. Alannah who was just absolutely fantastic! Not to divulge too much information on a public forum but I called Merus on Monday morning at 8am sharp because I needed uregent help. Not only did she pick up, she helped me out as quickly as possible with such great attitude! Merus cases software is great but what really sets them apart from the rest of the others is their support team! Thanks again Alannah!

Meruscase has been absolutely fantastic for our purposes!Pros: Meruscase is very easy to setup and use, and their support department is stellar in case you have any questions. I have yet to work with a support department that is more willing to help than these guys!Meruscase was extremely helpful in our transition to digital case files, and the features it has are a godsend for management. The platform is extremely scale-able, allowing larger firms and smaller firms to take advantage of its features. The templates are a fantastic feature; save time, money and streamline a process which is highly susceptible to errors. The batch scanning feature is great for making mail processing more efficient. Email integration with automatic linking of email chains to cases based on linking the initial email has been very well received by our attorneys. Their update cycle is about every 2 weeks, and they really do listen to their users and implement features/updates accordingly, which I must say is extremely refreshing!Their billing platform is robust, and allows firms to implement a wide array of billing workflows. You can also set UTBMS and short code references to help attorneys and staff bill more efficiently (and to keep the larger clients happy). They allow exporting to most major billing platforms, including Timeslips so you can continue to use your billing software while implementing Meruscase for other workflows.Overall Meruscase is an excellent value for the money and I highly recommend it!Cons: The planning and setup can be tedious, but when all of the pieces of information are in place, the word template merging is phenomenal. I would recommend at least a month of planning and setup before considering cutting the office workflows over.

Im not impressed with this software. There are simple, yet useful tools, that were not incorporated. For example, there is no deleted items folder. So, if you want to retrieve a deleted email you have to log into your gmail and retrieve it from there. In addition, the process of retrieving a deleted record is not easy or cheep with this organization. In this day in age, the retrieval of a record is quick and easy. However, the customer service/technical team wanted to charge us for the engineers time to restore the record because of a previous deletion. In any case, we have been a customer of Meruscase for over three years and this is only the second time an accidental deletion occurred. Needless to say, Im was not impressed with Meruscase customer service. At this point, I would not recommend Meruscase to my family, friends, or colleagues. FYI, there are other software programs like Meruscase that can retrieve a deleted record quickly and free of charge. Thank you for taking the time to read this review.

After months of searching I found Meruscase. After half an hour discussing it with one of the staff at Meruscase - I came away with the distinct sense that the team has captured what the lawyer or lawfirm needs. This is a well engineered product, case centric and will enhance your practice dramatically.

I didnt have any other option but one star. This is by FAR THE WORST PROGRAM OUT THERE. Riddled with issues, does not work well with others.Their support department is worthless. They do not work with you or call you back. Do not waste your time or money.
