They fixed an air-conditioning problem that was not fixed properly (made worse) by another Mercedes dealership. So, I guess their mechanics are better than the competition! Also, they kept me updated on the arrival of parts which took longer than expected. And they provided me with a loaner when I needed it. The loaner and my car were both driven to my home address to keep things easy for me. Very nice!

Service is excellent. Eliseo is fantastic. The C300 4matic loaner made me want to buy one. Mercedes Benz of Marin makes you feel like there is no other dealership that you should purchase a car from or have your service done by. Yes, it is probably more expensive but the loaner program and the quality and service by the great people there makes it worth it.

Sales staff was very charming. Of course they are “just” a car dealer and they try to get your money with extra service contracts etc.Where the dealership falls short is in the service department. My service representative has limited social grace and is abrasive when I point out functions that don’t work on a high end car. My experience lead me to switch service to another dealer.

Our sales associate Alfonso was outstanding in professionalism and courtesy. The sale manager was a little pushy & degrading & misogynistic. We were on travel to dinner reservations and asked to come back from Saturday to Monday to finish the deal. The answer was a very definitive NO the offer was only good for 24hours and we must come back Sunday. No loaner car so they could keep our Bentley trade in & do paperwork - bank transaction- Monday. So, we swap around our schedule, and then the sales manager cant release the vehicle to us on a Sunday because the bank transaction must be completed prior to release. Monday is when the bank is open. He knew on the front end it was a non-financed deal. Additionally, they ran everything through my husbands name (why?? Its my car!!) Because we wanted both names on title. It was just easier ...for a cash deal? The sales person Alfonso was repeatedly having to apologize for the behavior of other staff. Then, as we are trying to drive off the lot, the infotainment electronics fail in the car. - other staff are blaming him for faulty equipment (?) (He even said, its my fault..why because the electronics are defective?) Suddenly, there is now a loaner available. Did I get the car I wanted? Yes. Sort of.. not in our possession yet. Was it a fair price? Yes. Was it hassle free? No. Was i out of there under 2 hours (No. try 4) They did provide a swag box because I mentioned it was my birthday. GM is texting us about repairs and Alfonso is certainly having to jump through hoops to keep the rest of them looking professional.

Donald provided the best experience I’ve ever had at a MB service center. I called and made an appointment but for whatever reason my appointment wasn’t scheduled on their end and he still squeezed me in. He answered all my questions thoroughly and made sure my car came back spotless. He kindly listened to a bad experience I had at another dealership and ensured that didn’t happen again. When I came to pick up my car he wasn’t at his desk but one of his colleagues checked me out and Donald met me outside to inspect the car. This dealership has an excellent team. I drove an hour and 15 minutes for good service and they exceeded expectations exponentially. I will most definitely be coming back for future services!

This dealership is doing a very disrespectful business. They will do everything to lure you in and then give you big surprise numbers. A complete waste of time.What happened to me was I had a vehicle for sale online close to trade-in value, Someone from this shop called me and offered me a close number to buy the car. I specifically told him there is a Condition Report online. Make sure that is the car and number you want. They confirmed with me 3 times. However, when I spent 2 hours driving there 2 days later, They offered me $12K less with only reason is the market changed over the weekend. Wow! What a terrific reason! They could just tell me they didnt like the color of my outfit that day~~Very very disappointed for such a disrespectful shop.

I can’t say enough about Donald Murphey. Since I met him at Mercedes Benz of Marin I have not wanted anyone else taking care of my car’s needs. He is personable and cares about you and your car’s safety. I recently made a trip out of state and needed my car in good condition. He got me right in. If it wasn’t for his attention to detail I would not have been able to drive safely to my destination. Mercedes Benz is lucky to have him and so am I for my Mercedes Benz needs!

We recently purchased a vehicle from this dealership (sale price was $130k) and I must say that sales team was excellent in getting the deal done to our satisfaction. I must mention that this was our second purchase from this dealership. We live in Sacramento area and we drove all the way to Marin to make this purchase based purely on our first transaction at this dealership (excellent overall experience at that time).The issue with this dealership now is that they do not have a finance manager, and an ex-sales person is acting in that capacity. This person while trying to do the financing tries to scam people by adding things that we definitely declined to accept as part of the paperwork processing. This is the stage where the dealer tries to upsell warranty, paint, protection, and all the other stuff. We declined to all that stuff and we signed the paper assuming that that is the case. When we got home and I was reviewing the documents, I found out that they slipped in ~$2000 worth of unnecessary coverage which we did not sign up for. When I contact the dealership next day, they said that they will look into it get back to me After 10 days of me calling on a regular basis, I finally got a hold of a GM and at that point I was told that they will give me partial credit for that amount. My warning to the potential buyers is to make sure that you sign the documents and check it before you leave the dealership.Update Feb 2, 2024: There was a very nice message from the leadership team to contact them - which I did and it has been two (2) weeks with no follow-up. Does that tell you something about this dealership.

I bought a G550 from the dealership on 4/6. Overall, the experience was good, except that I would never recommend anybody trading-in a vehicle with them. I had a 2023 Porsche 911 cab with a $123K pay-off--another Mercedes dealership was taking it at $130-133K, and giving me $10K back. This dealership stated they could only pay it off at $123K, telling me the market had changed. They are now selling it for $153K, a nice and comfortable $30K margin for them. Seems like the market only changed for a brief moment after all. I am putting 3 stars because this tarnished an otherwise lovely experience. But if you are not trading in, this is a great dealership.

This place was a class-act from start to finish. Marciano was an absolute pleasure to work with, the general Manager Omar responded lighting fast to any inquiry I had over text, and Rafi throughout the entire process made sure that we were taken care of.Listen, going to dealerships is a crapshoot, & surprise surprise you lose on almost every roll. Whenever I visit a dealership I expect to have a bad time because theyre almost always terrible. That was 1000% not the case here.Not only was the service excellent, but they immaculately detailed the car before delivering it and left us with a full tank of gas. Mind you, this was for a used car purchase thats a 10th of what theyre used to selling- yet they took care of us like we were buying one of their high-end vehicles.The entire process took about 1.5 hours and there was nothing but laughs all around during that time there. We also got to check out some really cool top of the line cars!Im definitely coming back here as Ive never been to any dealership that even comes close to the level of excellence here. We were actually just researching selling my husbands 13 year -old Infiniti,( low mileage/excellent condition) to Carvana or Carmax, but during the online search and checking the worth of his car, he was contacted via email by Mercedes of Marin. It was worth the 2+ hour drive, as we were treated so well by Zak who test drove the car and offered us a very fair amount, and we were out the door in under an hour with arrangements made for Fedex delivery of the check which arrived 3 days later! Horrible customer service. Sold my wife a $90k car and avoid her calls and dont call her back. She bought an electric car that isnt charging and will not provide her with loaner or rental. Dont buy from this location. They will not help you after they hand you the keys. By the way, we live closer to Mercedes of Santa Rosa and we called them concerning the issue. They actually stepped up, took ownership of the issue and are going to pay for a rental while they look at the car. Do yourself a favor and buy from Mercedes of Santa Rosa and not Marin. Youll thank me later.

Mercedes Benz of Marin was fantastic to work with.As someone who is in the relationship sales business, I have always hated buying cars as most places are so seemingly deceptive with their practices that I’ve always left with a bad taste in my mouth, and never felt that I’d been treated fairly. That was not the case here - in fact, it was quite the opposite.I worked with Omat Brahmini, the general manager directly.Omar gets it. He was thoughtful, courteous, honest and most importantly, treated me and my wife in a fashion that never seemed transactional in any way, but more like he was building a relationship - which in my opinion, is a lost art in car sales.Everyone on Omar’s staff was great to deal with and it is clearly evident that the culture that Omar is instilling trickles down amongst the team.I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of Marin

One week later, with nothing but not returned calls and failed messages I go to get the car to take it to a service center that has a clue and Im hit with a $2k bill for a service I didnt approve. It was a great experience, especially the help from Don Murphy, the service rep. He explained everything that would be done, knew it was my first time since this was the 1 year maintenance service. He was so nice and courteous. He knew I would wait for the car since I was told when I made the appointment it would take about 2 hours. By the time I read about 6 chapters and had my snack, the car was ready and I was back on the road. Purchased a CPO vehicle, the sales person was very cooperative ONLY until the sale was made and promised me the second set of keys would be mailed to my address and later despite multiple follow ups and calls there was no response at all.The Sales rep told me that CPOs come with 2 keys but now the manager denies to provide the additional key. If additional key is not be going to be provided, the sales reps should not mislead customers by providing misinformation.Very irresponsible attitude towards customers, disappointing and would not recommend.

I recently purchased a used Toyota SUV and worked with Eddie and Yecci, it was a great experience and just as, or more importantly, I got AN AMAZING DEAL! Eddie was my contact on the phone and was willing to flex meeting me at a number I needed to land on and hold the vehicle a few days so I could make the long drive when other dealerships were not, or had hidden fees for useless packages, which wasnt the case here at Mercedes of Marin.I worked with Yecci onsite and she is a fantastic saleswoman, very professional. I had my mercedes c240 serviced here. I bought a new key for it but had the original blade, the new key came and does not fit the blade bc they ordered a cheap replacement. They tried to sell me a second whole key but wouldnt refund the first one. A week later the car wouldnt start - which I thought to be key related. They charged me $650 to diagnose it to tell me it was undriveable. I bought another car and took the day off worked and I went down to have this one towed away. When I arrive I waited several hours and the porter magically drove my car up to me and said man it drove great. My service team member managed a shrug and declined to refund any part of this service. #stealership

My recent experience at Mercedes Benz of Marin couldnt have been any better. Eliseo, Vince, and Craig were able to solve a problem that plagued me for the last six months. Last fall we took an extensive cross country trip putting on a little over 10,000 miles. As we started our return from the east coast, the car went into limp mode shortly before hitting Pittsburg. The Pittsburgh Mercedes dealer analyzed the computer codes and found a problem with the EGR valve. Fortunately they updated the software and retained the code information. Eliminating the codes also reset the car so it would no longer limp. Several thousand miles later the car went into limp mode again entering Aspen CO. The local mechanic deleted the codes and we were able to drive on. Our third incident took place at the Colorado-Utah border 60 miles from the nearest tiny town. After 60 miles of limping we bought a scanner and deleted the codes ourselves. When we got home to Marin we took the car in and asked to have MBZ of Marin replace the valve, which was in short supply to say the least. Somehow or other they were able to work their way through the Mercedes red tape, get the valve, replace it and replace other parts that might have also been an issue, and provide me a loaner for a week. The car has 104,000 miles on it and runs like new. Thanks guys for a great result!!

Over the weekend I bought a vehicle at this location. In addition, they were not pushy about upgrades or extended warranties. Their dealership is quite nice and seemed to have a nice selection of vehicles. Would have given them five stars but I ended up having to wait in their office for almost 1.5 hours before being able to speak with their fiance department to close the deal. They apologized a number of times, but I still recommend increasing the headcount in the finance department (at least on weekends). After this experience, I will likely never buy a Mercedes again and will certainly NEVER buy another vehicle from any Swickard dealership. This was the 5th Mercedes I purchased from this location but the first under this new ownership.After selling my Mercedes to Swickard as part of leasing a new Mercedes EV, I was told I should have a check within a week. After a week passed, I had to make numerous phones calls and got the run around from the employees. I eventually got a check for $14 instead of the $14,000 I was owed after 2.5 weeks and went to the dealership to discuss my extreme displeasure to the general manager. I finally did get a check over 3 weeks later. This is certainly unethical and probably criminal behavior. I will tell anyone and everyone to never buy a car from a Swickard dealerships.

Honestly couldn’t be more disappointed, I’ve been searching for 3 months for the perfect car and unfortunately this car landed at Mercedes Benz of Marin. I called Monday to get some info and pricing, took about a day to get some basic info. Car had faded and crooked badges all over, when you’re asking 70 thousand dollars for a car you should be fixing this issue before listing it for sale. One of the sales managers then told me we are not shipping this car anymore, which they said they would to begin with, and said they would ship a day after when I had a friend of mine call and ask. A problem happened, but at the end of the day I’m satisfied with how they handled the issue.After the over $900 maintenance service, I was disappointed to find out there are huge and ugly oil or dirt spills left over the floor mat at the passenger side (they wont go unnoticed). This dealer has the worst public service i have ever dealt with. I was told my car would be ready in one day, 6 days later I still did not have my car when they promised. The advisor wouldnt call me back, gave me the wrong amounts owed, and reaching a manager was nearly impossible as they kept sending me back to the advisor that wouldnt help me. This place is terrible, avoid them at all costs.

I spent yesterday morning at Mercedes of Marin purchasing a CPO C300. I was helped by Mark Stueber who was so calm and no-pressure….not something you might expect to experience when buying a car.Mark helped me negotiate a fair deal and Millie in finance was helpful going through all the paperwork with me quickly and easily.The other team members I encountered were super kind and welcoming, especially Riptide 😉There are probably a handful of Mercedes dealers closer to my home, but I will definitely make the drive to Marin again if I purchase another Mercedes-Benz vehicle. I had a great experience here getting my Mercedes serviced. Id taken it to a local tire shop that failed to balance my car three times in a row. Fed up, I decided to call the Mercedes dealership since I knew they would do it right. Mercedes of Marin exceeded my expectations! Everyone was very friendly, professional, and welcoming. Even though my Mercedes was the oldest one present (LOL!), I felt like everyone treated me with the same respect they would show anyone else. I especially appreciated the extra care they took when they washed the car after our 40,000 mike service. We had noticed a paint- scrape on a fender before we took the car in (this was likely due to a parking lot hit and run). They saw this paint while washing the car and took the time (on their own initiative) to remove it. That was great service.

On Friday afternoon I got into my car and realized there was something very wrong as the screens/buttons in the car were unresponsive and the music was blasting with no ability to turn it down. I called up Mercedes San Rafael and they got me an appointment within an hour and offered me a courtesy car. It was very convenient, in and out service, especially given I had family in town that I was in the midst of showing around. My service rep, Jonathan, was extremely communicative throughout the process as my car was being fixed. I was very impressed by the level of service I received and will definitely be coming back! Added bonus was that my car was in desperate need of a wash and it came back all sparkly.

Dropped car off for flat tire repair on Wednesday evening when dealership closed. Received call promptly the following morning. However, no contact until late Friday afternoon when I called to find out what was going on. Was told tire would be fixed and key left at sales department for pick up on Saturday or Sunday. Then received text notifying me that dealer was now closed and would be unable to retrieve car until Monday. Apparently because there was no way to pay bill until then. Very disappointing and frankly unacceptable.

My wife’s check engine light came on…Mercedes of Marin was quick to take in the vehicle and diagnose the problem. Turns out it was the camshaft adjusters needed to be replaced. Angelo Gomez was our service advisor and was great to work with.Use to service at Mercedes of San Francisco but my service advisor retired and Mercedes of SF moved to South San Francisco…Mercedes of Marin was relatively closer than the other dealerships…so glad I tried them out! This was my first meeting with Service Representative Aiden Mussabini. I found him to be very helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable.He was prompt and efficient. Also, very personable and professional. Most of all, he never “talked down” to me or made me feel like a “technical dinosaur”, since I am 71 years old and not quite technically savvy. He answered all my questions in regards to the issues I was having with my car. I felt he really cared about my feeling comfortable while driving my car.I was very impressed with this young man and I hope to deal with him the next time my car needs servicing at Mercedes of Marin.
