Yesterday, I handed my entire purpose over to the warm, professional, patient staff at MAH for a long overdue dental cleaning and a list of other helps for my senior angel bear. Each time I called to check on how he was doing, the staff was reassuring, took time to explain, answered my questions and calmed me down.I dropped off a miniature yeti in bum shape, and picked up a brand new baby seal! The team literally gave him (and me) a life lift.The discharge process was thorough and detailed, and the post surgery instructions were explained clearly. Dr Bogner, Traci, Joseph, Alex and the whole team have my immense gratitude and appreciation for the care they took with my angel bear, and for being understanding with my anxiousness.A very heartfelt thank you for the highly professional team who ensured the best possible outcome for my pup.

I have 2 dogs, a cat, and a hamster and have been coming to this vet for the past 6 years. They are kind, efficient and proactive and reasonably priced fr their services. They have also done a surgery on my dogs bladder, saving her life and it was not exorbitant cost, no complications, and were able to make sure we had all the proper diet change info, follow-up appts, and electronic prescriptions to order her new food upon discharge. Love our vet!

I have come here twice for just yearly exam and shots and it’s simple enough and so I’ve kept coming.However, the moment you never want to happen to your pet happened to mine today. He was in desperate need for a same day apt and needed surgery quickly to survive. Myself and my dog were treated so kindly by all staff and 7 hours later I went home with my dog in his cone of shame that one day we can laugh about. Thank you for saving Hagrid’s life today. While I know it was a fairly common procedure for obstructions, I still do not take it lightly.

I brought my dog in for some major Dental work just recently. It was such an easy process. The staff was very nice and informative. The cost of the procedure was very, very reasonable. Literally 3 times less than another vets quote. I would highly recommend Menifee Animal Hospital.

I have had nothing but great experiences here. The staff is super friendly, competent and and helpful. The vets are great and the service is very quick and efficient. I have never had to wait long for my pets to be seen. We recently had to put our beloved family dog down and this place made this very difficult time as special as it could be. They really supported us and they went above and beyond to help us through the passing of our beloved boy. In addition, the prices here are very reasonable. I have never felt like I was over charged for a service we received. I absolutely recommend this animal hospital!

Brenda is very Rude. She called and canceled my appointment due to an appointment fee she stated wasnt paid. I had paid it two days prior, but Brenda refused to accept it. Brenda refused to take another payment over the phone to keep my appointments and proceeded to tell me she would cancel my appointment. She asked how much I paid for the appointment fee, and I told her that the information I provided wasnt enough to keep my appointment and that she would have to charge me $200.00 to use my care credit. I called back and spoke with another staff member, Luz, who emailed me so I could provide proof that they charged me. I had to log into my account and take a screenshot to prove they received payment.Update: I got a call back from Luz telling me they received the proof of payment, which was their mistake. However, unless I remove this review about their employee, they will still cancel my appointment. I have been going to this vet for years without any issues, and because they dont like a factual review that showcases how this employee acted and treated customers, I have to remove it or forgo treatment for my pets. How is that fair? Your staff shouldnt berate customers. I paid the requested appointment fee because I want to bring more than one pet simultaneously. In addition, one of my dogs has IVDD and has always had her treatment here. The veterinary services are excellent, and the office staff needs improvement.Perhaps there will be another update. Hopefully they do the right thing.

I took my dog to Menifee Animal Hospital on January 13, 2024 after a cat scratched her eye, which began bleeding. I explained to the receptionist that I was a current client and showed her my dogs eye. She went in back, then came out to tell me that my dog couldnt be seen as they were booked up for the day. I said that as long as I had been a client, they were going to treat me this way? She said sorry and walked away. I then took her to the emergency pet clinic in Temecula, and they were more than kind and concerned. They got in touch with the eye vet who instructed them as to how to proceed. I will never use Menifee Animal Hospital again.

After a long period in between vet care visits, and unavoidable postponing of her vet care, we finally got our fragile old lady seen here just a day after calling for an appointment.She was handled with care, received excellent medical treatment and it didnt cost an arm and a leg. I LOVE this group of vets and staff! I had the opportunity to work with Dr. Bogner on my last visit. She was so very kind and patient as well as thorough as she explained her diagnosis and treatment. Front staff and office manager, Donna are understanding and welcoming. The techs are super efficient as well in communicating the pets issues to the vet and then to me.

I am upset because my dog was having a health issue, and they had no appointments available, which I do understand. I was able to find another vet that was able to see my pet sooner. The new vet wanted a copy of my pets records, which they would not send unless I paid a fee of 20 dollars. I had no choice to pay it. I feel this is like a form of punishment because I wouldnt wait for them to see my pet for at least 3 weeks. They also still do telemed appointments, where only the animal goes in to see the doctor, and they call you in the waiting room, which i think is ridiculous. I used to like this office very much, but I will never go back there.

Excellent care and great service. I will never hesitate bringing my pets. Dr. Brennan is amazing and explains everything very thoroughly. Dr. Bogner is wonderful too and took great care of Cooper. I would also like to thank Bo for his kindness, patience and helping us as we learned the needs of caring for a diabetic dog. Thank you so much! The staff here are superb. The day of our visit there were a few bigger dogs in the lobby and mine was the only cat. I wish I knew her name, but she immediately moved us to another room so Ferdie wouldnt be scared; a very kind and thoughtful gesture. The exam wasnt overwhelming and the doctor addressed every concern. I would definitely recommend this animal hospital to all pet lovers. Thanks again Menifee Animal Hospital for everything!

I give this place zero stars after my recent encounter. Their staff miscommunicated appointment times and deposit requirements to me while going back and forth over a course of 3 days and then cancelled my dog’s appointment at the last minute (day 3) because they said my complaints and expressed frustrations about their miscommunication was rude to staff. Here’s the incident: I called Wednesday, they told me to come in on Thursday just fill out the paperwork. I filled out paperwork, called to confirm, then I was told, no we have an appointment for Friday, we’re sorry. They told me I had to give my payment information to secure appointment in case I cancelled or to be applied to my visit on Friday, ok. Thursday I noticed they took the payment out and I didn’t understand so I called asking why, thinking maybe they had me down for a Thursday appointment. They said they told me, but I insisted that wasn’t my understanding, I would have used a different payment. So I complained to staff about the discrepancy with my first appointment and now with the payment issue, mind you while still calling checking for cancellations, end of Wednesday thru Thursday. Then Donna calls me Friday morning, less than 2 hours before my appointment with this “matter of fact” energy to address my complaint, stating she knew for a fact it was told to me because she made the appointment herself. I could not match her energy and did not want to get into an argument at this point so yes I hung up to avoid it. I was just trying to get my puppy to the appointment, I had already waited 3 days. Then I got a text message saying my dog’s appointment was canceled and to give them a call with credit card information so they could refund my payment.Throughout this encounter, I was frustrated, short and expressively argumentative when presented with these conflicts, but I did not disrespect or endanger your staff.In this form of service to your community, people may become undone, agitated, frustrated or even understandably argumentative behind what may be happening to their animals, and then stir that up with a few misunderstandings, appointments, treatments options, or even money. No, I would not condone abuse of my staff. I would however, help them recognize the difference, and needed capacity for basic conflict resolution/diffusion, but you, the morning of my appointment, with Donna’s re-justification and the collaborative, nerved entitlement, call and text me to cancel my dog’s appointment the same day, after 3 days of waiting. I’m deeply regretful of the time and energy I spent seeking out your organization and appointment for my pet. I caution others as they do the same.

I wish we had read the reviews for this place more closely. They have high stars, but low quality. MAH fulfilled the euthanasia services that we requested, but not exactly how they said they would... Their manager, Michelle, is worthless. Shell tell you one thing on the phone, then completely contradict herself in person. I dont know why you would think I would ever say that. Seriously, Michelle? Im grieving the loss of my best friend, and youre going to change the price on me now that Im here in person? Unprofessional, disagreeable, inconsiderate. Michelle brings this rating down two stars. The other staff members were calm, compassionate, and patient. Hopefully they dont all quit because they have a lousy boss.*EDIT*Read their reply to my review. They are knowledgeable and provide the full realm of options and are very realistic about what is going on with your furbaby. We especially thank Dr Brennan for being great when we had to say goodbye to both our babies.

They kindly and courteously met with us as first time patients, discussed my concerns, and everyone treated my old man pup with such kindness . He is large and excitable and they recognized that and gave him positive attention as he was wanting to sniff and smell and get pets from every employee. They even went beyond my expectations of a basic check up and shot renewal to do further testing on my guys eye as I had concerns, and then sent us home with a prescribed ointment that has helped tremendously. The level of care was amazing, especially considering how competitively priced the services there are . We will definitely be back.

A very sad day as I had to put my little dog Chiquita Banana down. I found her two months ago. Nobody claimed her so I kept her and she got really sick after 2 months. This is the first time I have ever been to Menifee Animal Clinic.... they were very caring. The best thing out of the whole day was that they gave me a little vial with her hair in it. I was very grateful as I had forgotten to take some of her hair. I definitely recommend these folks. Not all of us have a lot of money and their price is cheaper than the shelter to surrender the dog.

THEY DO NOT LET YOU GO BACK WITH YOUR PET INTO THE EXAM ROOM. I called this place to schedule an appointment and all was well until after I had paid, they told me I will have to wait in the lobby while my cat is examined. Luckily they immediately reversed the appt deposit charge after I said F THAT! I have NEVER been to a vet that does not allow you in the exam room. Procedures? Sure, I get that I can’t be there for that. BUT THE EXAM. YOU WOULDN’T LET A PEDIATRICIAN BE ALONE WITH YOUR KID, WHY WOULD YOU DO THAT WITH YOUR PET. Absolutely astounding protocol. Crazy to me that this place has such good reviews with that policy.

I have an 8 month old golden that I got spayed here. The staff were very nice, especially Luz who helped during her surgery. Dr Bogner did her surgery, and they were both very nice and patient and answered all my questions (which were a lot and I called probably 10 times for follow up questions and concerns). Her first and second day after being spayed were not great. She was very nauseous and wouldn’t eat or drink Bc of anesthesia, and had an upset tummy. The staff took me for an apt right away and gave her some new meds and she was perfect after! Great job and would recommend to a friend.

False advertising.Their website clearly states that they offer low cost spay and neuter services on THE FRONT PAGE. When you try to get more information they tell you its closer to $300. Yikes. Will not be bringing my pets here. Who knows what else they arent transparent about.

This place is amazing!! My gardener left my side gate open and my puppy got out and got hit by a car and when I took him in to another vet they took xrays and immediately came back to tell me I needed to amputate and there is no other option. I was completely shocked that I would have to cut off my 5 month old puppies leg. So I searched for a place for a second opinion when I was contacted by a friend of mine at Menifee Animal Hospital who got me in right away to meet with a specialist who said the leg was definitely repairable and couldnt believe the other place didnt give me another option. I was able to get him into surgery within the same week at a very very reasonable price. The surgeon who repaired his broken femur and the office staff kept me in the loop every step of the way. It has now been almost a month after surgery and he is progressing so well and is now starting to walk on it and be his happy chipper self! Im so glad I was referred to them and they were able to save my puppy! Ill be forever grateful to them! Thank you again :)

This place is 5 stars, no question. Kind, caring, thorough, and went above and beyond for my dog, saving his life. We are new to the area and my dog got sick. I brought him in, and it was discovered he needed surgery. During surgery, there were additional issues, and the surgery became quite extensive. The office kept me updated, and Dr Brennan called after the very long surgery. She was so detailed and caring. A few days into recovery, my dog took a turn for the worse, and while on the way to the office, it appeared to be his heart stopped. I called in a panic and there was a team waiting outside when we arrived. They saved my dogs life, and hes OK today because of everything they did.Also, Ive seen some negative comments about the office staff. After many appointments and sitting in the lobby, I can honestly say its not an issue with the attitude of the staff. It has to be an issue with the reviewer. This staff is great!!!!!

Vet malpractice will tell continue to treat and charge you for the same issue even though they keep given wrong medications and dosages. My dog had surgery on skin cancer that was not fully clear out them tried to charge me additionally to go back into the same spot so I went elsewhere and will never return. Front desk staff is extremely rude and puts in their two sense about the care you should give your animal resulting in unnecessary additional charges. If you want to keep a sick pet continue to take them here.

Great facility. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the door. All of the staff, from the front desk to the back everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We had an appointment and were in and out very quickly. I will say that its a little pricier than other low cost clinics, but you get what you pay for. I would gladly pay more for better quality and service. The waiting room and exam room were both extremely clean, and considering where we were, it was fairly quiet. Not hectic like some other clinics weve visited. We are so happy we found this office!

We have been taking our dogs to Menifee Animal Clinic for many years. The vet is very knowledgeable and they are always reasonable with the prices. Additionally, the vet will start with the less evasive treatment first (when possible). They provide quotes for services, such as a scheduled surgery, and the charges are often on the lower end of the scale. We are very happy with this clinic.

Very dissatisfied over the money hungry mentality. Booked a same day appointment and the soonest they had wasnt until the afternoon. We found somewhere that could accommodate us immediately and took our dog there. I called to cancel our appointment and they told me they would be keeping the $80. I gave them ample time (over an hour) to reschedule the appointment and told them that it had become more of a emergency than we expected.Also wanted to note that 2 months ago we took our dog in for kennel cough and they gave us the wrong medication..actually they incorrectly gave us a sedative medication and didnt notify us for over 5 hours after I had already administrated the medication to my dog and didnt know. Gave them grace and drove myself back to to pick up the right medication. Unpleasant and unprofessional

Only reason Im marking 4 stars is because I dont like their policy in which you dont see the vet, but they call you by phone. Also, the initial history is taken by a vet tech, not the vet and while the tech was very nice, I really wanted to speak directly to the vet.

Its taken me a year to write this review. I brought my 7 year old boxer in because she had what I said extreme pain. She was tense. She was stiff and her eyes would glaze over. She had her checkup and I was sent home with pain medication. I was told she had lower back pain. My dog died less than 2 weeks later. She died at the VCA in Murrieta. She had multiple tumors in her stomach. My recommendation to all of you is that if you feel your dog is seriously Ill, dont bring them here. They gloss over the situation.

We’ve used Menifee Animal Hospital for all of our animals (dogs and cats) for years and always have a great experience. Both dogs were neutered and microchipped here with zero complications. I love the service I get from everyone here at Menifee Animal Hospital! They were very helpful to me when my Phaeton broke his back, they made him comfortable until I could make my decision on what to do with him.A year and a half later I got my puppy (Toy Fox Terrier) Xander, and he just loves everyone there! Menifee Animal Hospital is the probably the worst establishment you can ever go to. We gave them a pass at first because we are a huge military family and it was the closest one. The staff had attitudes, but we dealt with it. We were always very nice and extremely cordial to all staff no matter how rude they were.Then all of a sudden, we go to make an appointment and one of the staff was very rude to my wife and said we were not welcome there anymore. She tried to get any details she could because there has literally not ever been a single negative interaction or alteration and our dogs need a medication. The last interaction with the animal hospital was when we took our dog in for an emergency. My wife thanked the staff repeatedly for helping our dog, paid the bill and even joked with the staff about how her daughter will have to pay her back because the emergency was her fault. Again, the staff would not give any details to why we were suddenly banned. I kindly called to figure out what was the issue emphasizing that we don’t have long left at this duty station, don’t want to find another vet and simply need their medication. They said they would call me back, but they did not. I called again and the staff member was very rude and then hung up on me. Please tell your friends and family AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS AND SPREAD THE WORD!

Its been well over a year since I switched my cat away from this place. Everyone at this business is rude from receptionists to especially the vets.My cat, Mimi, has epilepsy and ataxia so vet visits are more frequent than they should be. My cat had been a patient here for 3 years, yet they would STILL ask me the same questions about her disability and every visit felt repetitive. Its like they dont review patient notes before seeing a patient to AT LEAST remember a bit about the pets history. Anyways, the last straw for me last year was when my cat started having a series of seizures at least 5+ a day for quite a while. They basically referred me to a neurologist and told me that I should prepare for the worst without even TRYING to help find a solution. Also may I mention the vet who was relaying this information has 0 empathy, was in a rush, and looked annoyed. Meanwhile Im devasted that they are literally telling me that my cat might not make it. I did go to said neurologist and they were confident in my cat getting better and helped me find my new vet. lol this place would label my cat as aggressive and would tell me to drug her up everytime they did any blood work etc on her. They help find solutions to the same problems I would bring up to Menifee Animal Hospital without a problem or constantly have a negative or poor outlook on my cats life. I dont have to repeat my cats epilepsy history EVERY visit like i woukd have to for Menifee Animal Hospital. The new vet show as much care and concern for my cat as I do and if I ask for a blood panel or to check my cats medication levels they do not question it. Every time I visit ALL the vets know Mimi and handle her with care. They always look excited to see her and never have even mentioned the need to sedate my oh-so-aggressive cat. I told them how Menifee Animal Hospital said Mimi was aggressive and they laughed and said that shes just a grumpy girl, thats all.Anyways, Im sure my cat could sense the evil at Menifee Animal Hospital which was why she may have been so aggressive 🤣 also they were so bitter about me switching vets and were being difficult to send my Mimis records over.My cat has been seizure free ever since our switch to the new vet and THRIVING.DONT BRING YOUR FURBABY HERE!!!!

This was my first time having to say goodbye to my dog of 16 years and the ladies working there were so kind, compassionate, and understanding of my situation. I recently called this facility and I know it mentions low cost spay and neutering. I would be considered a new patient so my dog would have to have an exam prior. My dog is just under 75lbs and the quote was $520. I’ve seen places that definitely charge way less. So for them to promote “low cost neuter and spay” confuses me when I have seen low cost range from 100-200$ with exam fees.

The doctor is good, and the staff is friendly, but it is now extremely difficult to make an appointment for your pet. Their customer service used to be good, but since the pandemic, you cant count on them to answer the phone, and the VM says dont leave a VM because they do not check it. Your only option is to call back when they are not busy, but they always seem to be busy. Unless you have time to keep calling them until you reach them, good luck getting an appointment for your pet.

My cat is loosing his life because of this place. These people are incompetent for this field. My cat had an abscess in his paw with multiple other injuries. The allegedly drained it and cleaned the other injuries and left the wound open to drain. They didnt place any tube for drainage which is standard for abscess of that size. It looks like all they did was shave spots of hair and left everything as it was. With the injuries he had they decided neutering him was more important, along with chipping him which i didnt even request. They gave me an appointment for two weeks gave me a pain medication and a $600 bill . Two days later the infection took over his whole arm and I had to take him to another hospital because they were to booked to see him. The other real doctor said she can do an everyday cleaning procedure to see if it starts getting better, but the condition its in amputation is the best option. Unfortunately I cant afford that procedure and hes in pain and getting worse so I now have to put him down. If you read other reviews my pet isnt the only pet who lost its life because of this place. I work in health care and I know some of those people who work there should have thier licenses taken. I will take this to the board and make sure the whole country knows how bad this place is.The audacity of this place replying to my comments with such disregard for the heartache they have caused. I urge people to read others reviews from this place. A lot of us has gone through the exact same thing. They try dodging what they did by blaming me for my cats death, what health care facility responds this way. I have proof they would not see him unless I payed a missed appointment fee. Not once were they concern about the hack job they did on my poor cat. Okay, I guess. Not much interaction with the veterinarian(s), who are too preoccupied to spend much time with the customers. Basically, just several minutes on the phone when they can find the time. Staff seems distant. It seemed to me that they do their jobs, but dont go out of their way. VCA on California Oaks Rd., and Avenida Acacias are far better. Veterinarians spend as much time as necessary speaking to customers in well-appointed conference rooms. Staff always willing to go to great lengths to help the customer. Also, it is a pleasant environment.

Lack of manners and customer service skills were obvious! 2 staff members attitudes and rudeness have now made me take my health care for my dog elsewhere! Except for the line to get an appointment for these guys we find them to be wonderful with our dog(s). They always try to make sure we understand the problem they have diagnosed and how the treatment will work.They are fairly well priced, meaning it only costs one arm, not two like others do. They do sell the prescriptions but they will also give you a written prescription to get it filled online if you want to get it that way.The doctors are actually the most wonderful women that we have found with our Labrador. Without the records for her ONE & ONLY visit they will not pay ANY future claims. I made an appointment, paid their $60 deposit to hold my dogs appointment. Day before they called to confirm the appointment and left a v/m. Day of appointment we had all intentions on going until there was a family emergency and we completely spaced about it until after they closed. I called them the next business day to reschedule. I’ve never been to vet where I have to sedate my dog every visit. 100 dollars to put my dog on a light sedation or pay for pills to give him. I’ve been to multiple vet hospitals and not once had a problem. BUT since my dog is barking and scared it makes him an alert. I was told I could not be seen if my dog was not sedated. What happen to a muzzle for safety precautions…the staff should be trained to handle scared dogs that seem uneasy not immediately go to drugs. I WILL NOT be returning to this joke of a veterinary hospital. Big waste of time!!!!!

First visit today, saw Dr. Daru. I would have given them 5 stars of it wasnt for the excessive wait. I was in the exam room over an hour. That was disappointing, but at least the doctor was very apologetic, I appreciate that. I dont know if the wait is typical there or not. Everyone I came into contact with was especially nice and pleasant. They were great with my dog and my toddler who was with me. I will definitely go back. I have been to a few vets in the area over the years, and this is the first that is really personable. Oh, and no vaccine clinic, they give the discounted price all the time, love that. Marlene, the front dest receptionist needs an attitude adjustment. I took my dog to get her vaccines updated which included her rabies. They are only doing curbside drop offs due to COVID. After the exam, the tech brought my dog out and said someone will hand me the rabies certificate after payment. So, I called and paid over the phone and when Marlene asked if I wanted a receipt I said no but I never said no to the certificate. So I waited and waited for the certificate in my car and finally I called again. I kindly asked about the certificate and she didnt even let me finish my sentence saying well you said you did not want it. I asked her if the receipt and certificate are on one document and she said no but they bring out the certificate with the receipt. I told her I did not know that, I simply said no to the receipt NOT the certificate!. She comes out almost throwing it in my car, walks away shaking her head. We have been taking our pets there for a long time and recently 2 weeks ago had to put our other dog down due to stomach cancer. It was hard enough my dog has separation anxiety from the passing of her brother, he would comfort her at vet exams and today was the first time she came all by herself. Driving my dog all by herself brought back memories of our other dog. The attitude today was totally not needed!

This office has seen our dog several times, spending thousands of dollars for her care. We adopted her when both my father and mother passed away last year, as she was their baby for 12 years. We asked every time we took her in to check her for diabetes, but some how that test always got missed. When she finally became very ill and I insisted they test her, she was diagnosed insulin dependant diabetic. We took her in for full day evaluations over several months, spending hundreds of dollars for them to monitor her for a day, purchased their recommended food and purchased her syringes and insulin from them. It finally got to the point that with Covid and losing part of our business we were not able to spend the money to have her monitored for an entire day JUST to get her insulin and syringes. They filled one last time and told us they would not fill any more unless we agree to drop her off for the monitoring each month we needed to refill. I was so upset and felt they were holding her life in their hands. Either we pay them for the visit or we let our pup die. How would you react? I told them I couldnt believe they would allow her to die because we couldnt afford to pay for their visit every month. We purchased the best glucose meter and Genteel lancet and have been successfully monitoring her ourselves. I called in and apologized for getting angry, and that we needed to have the prescription refilled, we had all of her records from that months glucose readings. We were willing to pay for her to have a monitoring day in order for the dr to see we are managing her diabeties fine. I didnt even get to say much other than the apology before the young lady on the phone became incredibly condescending, rude and would not let me speak. As I was attempting to tell her I called to actuality follow the dr recommended visit, she cut me off and said you can talk to my manager tomorrow. Rest assured, there are good nurses and doctors at this location, but if you need to speak to someone stay away from her. She is nasty as can be. Also keep in mind that if you need diabetic care for you animal, you pay them for the monthly visit or you let your animal die witbout insulin.

I have three dogs and a cat that I take to Menifee Animal Hospital. When I had a concern with my senior dog I called to make an appointment to have her seen. They couldn’t see her that day so I had to take her to another vet. When I asked Menifee Animal Hospital for a copy of her records they told me there would be a 20$ fee for them because the vet needed to review her notes. I told them if they did not give me the records without the fee I would take all my pets to a different vet. They said okay no problem but if you want the records you have to pay 20$ for each pets records and it would take time for the vet to review and release them to me.

I have been coming to Menifee Animal Hospital for at least the last 10 years and have spent a considerable amount of money there. I had an appointment to come in last Friday October 9th to check a bump that had appeared on my dog, Luna’s back of about a month duration. On Thursday evening when I got home from work I noticed that the bump was gone. So I called immediately (6:05) to cancel my appointment and just missed you. So I called first thing Friday morning to cancel and was told that I was to pay $20.00 for a missed appointment. I asked if they would rather I wasted the Dr.’s time to bring Luna in anyway, even though she no longer had the problem. She said she would give the chart to the director to see what could be done. I called for a different issue a couple of days later and was told that until I paid the $20. You would not do anything for me.I own a Hearing Aid Practice. I also have an office schedule and I am also affected by the Covid 19 pandemic. I am certainly pleased that you are doing so well that you are able to lose a long time paying customer over a bogus $20 charge. I understand charging someone that is a no show or habitually cancels appointments but this case is not warranted and is really a poor business decision. I would never charge a long time good patient like this.I have already found a new Veterinarian to take care of my pet’s healthcare needs. I will not be paying your $20 charge. Nor will I be paying the $700 plus charge to have Luna’s teeth cleaned. You have lost future revenue from me over this 20 bucks. Apparently your management doesn’t care.You should also address the customer service skills at your front desk. I have thought about writing this for a while now, because I truly do not believe in tearing other pet care professionals down. But today was just too much.I am a very well respected animal care professional with extensive experience in the community. The first time I took a pet here they held my life threatening test results hostage for days, because the only person that could give them to me was out sick. I tried to write it off as one bad experience. But today I just could not even fathom the audacity of these people.They refused to take fecal samples from my training facility (just routine testing, that any reputable facility would do to ensure the safety and cleanliness of their facility) without seeing the pets for an exam. I offered to pay for the exam, and even bring them in and pay for another unnecessary exam if they had tested positive for parasites so they could be prescribed medication. They still refused, would not listen to my concerns about bringing perfectly healthy dogs into a vet in the middle of a human pandemic AND, im guessing they havent told you yet, that there is a leptospirosis outbreak in the county. So I did not want to expose my dogs and my clients dogs to whatever patients might be in their establishment, especially since its behind closed doors right now. They then acted as if I was asking for something unreasonable, and get this - told me I was unwelcome to come back to their hospital with any of my pets.GLADLY!Called another vet in the area 5 minutes later, without ever speaking to me prior, or seeing any of my pets, they are taking my fecal samples and we are on our way to having a wonderful professional relationship. So when they come back and say that I was nasty (which, I was upset dont get me wrong, but I was not nasty, I was voicing my very reasonable concerns), it will be clear to everyone who the problem really is in this situation.Its not me its you,Goodbye Menifee Animal Hospital, and you can say goodbye to all of our clients that have and would have frequented your establishment with our recommendation.Some regard for basic canine health and customer service are much needed at your hospital, wishing you the best.

Today I called to request an emergency appointment for Haven who was spitting up, drooling excessively and moaning. I was told there was one Dr today and that I could leave her and someone would look at her when they had time. That was certainly unacceptable to me. My fur baby was in distress. This was not a common experience for Haven. I was not going to drop her off, only to be caged, while she was scared and in distress! Haven also has separation anxiety so leaving her is also a grave concern that I have! Since we could not be accomodated today I had to take her somewhere else. Gods hand was definitely upon us as I found a wonderful vet who saw her immediately. Not only that, they are open every day! I am not going to put my two fur babies at risk, especially when one of them is exhibiting signs of not feeling well or signs indicating they are in distress. Time should be blocked out to ensure your pet patients can be seen without dropping them off when there is an emergency that requires immediate attention! You have a nice staff especially Kim, however, a nice, friendly staff is not going to rectify any medical issue my babies are experiencing!

UPDATE - Per owners response, this had nothing to do with medication. As I have already stated, his account was deactivated by your staff because you were informed that our dog would not be seeing you exclusively. You have also acknowledged that in your response. We love our pets dearly and would never do anything to put them in harms way. Thankfully, we have been able to take our dog to his regular veterinarian and he is receiving the care he deserves. If your looking for a vet in the area, don’t come here. They might be the cheapest game in town, but you get what you pay for. Also, they will get your money eventually. For example, our dog was experiencing a limp so we immediately took him in to be examined at Menifee Animal Hospital. After a brief exam, the vet recommended a surgery that was thousands of dollars and would require months of recovery! Being a “discount vet”, we went to get a second opinion at our regular vet. Guess what? Just a pulled muscle and he was 100% in a few days. Needless to say, we won’t ever be coming back and we make it a point to tell everyone that if you love your pet, don’t take them to Menifee Animal Hospital.I usually make it a point to not leave negative reviews, but what’s happening at Menifee Animal Hospital is truly upsetting and I don’t want anyone else to have the same experience that we did.Due to COVID, this vet, “...requires all of its patients to be exclusive to this vet ONLY.” We have taken our dog to Angel Care, Animal Friends of the Valley, and CVS Animal Hospital. Our dog suffers from joint and leg issues and sometimes his spells come on suddenly and he needs help. We try to book an appointment with whoever is available first (sometimes it takes several weeks to get an appointment).I spoke with a supervisor and voiced my concerns. They said that they had, “...deactivated his account because you are not seeing us exclusively.” I explained that we just want to try and get him help as soon as possible because we don’t like to see him suffer. They said that there was nothing they could do.I’ve lived in this community for over 36 years and I have been to many vets with our little buddies over the years. This is the first time I’ve ever felt like a vet was willing to jeopardize the health and safety of a family member due to a sudden policy change. As a result, I cannot recommend this vet to anyone that lives in our community. Thankfully, none of the other vets in our community are requiring exclusivity, so we have been able to get him help elsewhere.

Today my 11 week old puppy ate a Bee 🐝! She had a severe allergic reaction. This was a very sad and intimate time for our family and they let us spend as much time with him before he left us as we needed. My standard poodle Tucker became ill. I decided that I needed to take him in. I didnt have a Vet, so I Google it and came up with a few, after reading the reviews I decided on Menifee Animal Hospital. Everyone there was so nice. After doing several blood test an a altrasound, the Doctor came in and I was told he had a tumor and it was effecting his liver. It didnt look like he would recover.. he was 10 yes old and we had him since he was 5 months old. We decided that we needed to put him down. Everyone was really sympathetic with us. We stayed with Tucker until it was done. The Dr. came in to take care of him . I was very upset, she was so comforting I couldnt believe it, but she had tears in her eyes to. I know we did the right thing, even though it is so hard.Today we got a sympathy card in the mail, it was signed individually by the Doctor and each staff member. It was very heartwarming to know that they cared that much. I will defiantly reccomend them to everyone! They are indeed there for our pets. Thank You to them all. They were awesome. If there were more stars I would give them way more.

Just moved here from out of town. My FurBaby, Jojo sustained an eye injury while playing, and I was SO afraid that he might lose his sight. He was able to be seen immediately! When asked if I had Jojos vet records, I told the receptionist, Shelby that I didnt have them with me. She replied, Oh, dont worry, Ill call and get them for you! She contacted Jojos previous veterinarian and his records were waiting for us when we arrived! All the staff was SO friendly, efficient and professional! The office is clean and comfortable, and the pricing is very reasonable! They provide both doggy AND human treats in the waiting room!!! (Nice touch!) A Dog Day Afternoon; was in this place! I made an appointment to have my dog groomed and clipped 2 weeks in advance. He was there from 9am to 4pm. FRAUD ALERT! They do not have the facility to groom your pet. They are in the same room as other animals getting different procedures. 4pm pickup he was washed only, not cut and he was still wet. It was 104 outside today. I called twice and was greated by We are to busy front desk receptionist. Never too busy to take your money. The groomer said she did her best but has more animals then space to properly treat your dog. At $65.00 not worth it..again VET is overcharging for space and not care or quality. Not going back, for any further procedures. If you care for your animal look elsewhere! To be fair to the groomer she only charged me $15.00..which I am sure did not cover her overcharged minut space charged by the VET.

Brought my sick dog in to diagnose a problem. The visit and my experience seemed pretty good at first. Doctor seemed okay, and she ordered further testing. However, after the diagnoses came back with cushings disease, I was very upset for my pet and full of questions. I went home to do research on this disease, and called doctor with more questions. I felt they were done with me and my questions, as I asked for doctor to call me back when she had a chance. Unfortunately, she never called back. Furthermore, I went the next day to pick up prescription and asked if doctor was available to answer a question in regards to medication she issued. The staff at front desk said doctor was busy all day, and I needed to make an appt. to ask question?? The staff seemed rude and made me feel very uncomfortable. They refused to relay a quick question. Menifee animal hospital recieved a large sum of money for what few tests they performed. The least they could do was answer some questions in regards to my beloved pet... To anyone thinking of bringing their pet, place is dirty, and had to wash my dog especially her feet good to get rid of grim and smell!! They may be a bit cheaper for diagnoses and tests, but I would rather pay more, than put up with the staffs attitude. I have been going here since we moved to Menifee and had good experiences. Today however wiped all those experiences out. Had a 10:40 appt. At 11:00 and still sitting in the now packed lobby watching people who arrived after me taken care of I asked what the hold up was and was told it would be soon. A few minutes later a tech came out to inquire why I was having blood work on my dog and the cost involved. I told her why and she handed me a paper with a list of charges and the total. I told the tech I was not concerned with the charges that I needed to know if my dog was healthy enough for surgery and signed the paper. I went to the counter and was told that my chart was not ready and waited an additional 15 minutes to be called up to pay.When they told me how much, j said that is not what I was quoted and signed the OK for. I was told that the vet was busy and it would be a few minutes. I informed the desk employee to look at the quote I signed to solve the problem and was told that they could not find it. I said we have a problem then. The desk employee told me that I could leave and that they would call me later in the day. As I was leaving, I left thru an open door and was breaking my dog and comments that I could not understand referencing me and everybody got a good laugh inside. You should not speak negatively of a customer especially if he is in earshot.Later I did receive a phone call informing me that I was correct and that the bill was $14 dollars less than what they tried to charge me, go figure.The staff was rude today and completely unorganized. Im very disappointed and will probably explore other vet options.

We have been customers since 2016 and I’m sad I have to write this review.Took my cat in because she was basically biting off her tail, I knew something was very wrong. Dr Courtney came in - I immediately got a very cold vibe from her, she recommended xrays so I did the xrays. Told me my cats tail was broken basically nothing they could do, sent me home with antibiotics and pain meds never mentioned to put a cone on my cat. Called them back to ask a few questions, the dr claimed I “never told her that my cat was biting her tail” and that was “why they never recommended a cone for her” Few days pass by her tail was looking worse, ran out of antibiotics. Wanted her to be re-seen since I was getting super worried. Receptionist said “she would talk to the dr and call me back”, calls me back around 2pm to tell me “She doesn’t need to be seen” but “will refill antibiotics” BUT they wouldn’t be ready until the next day. At this point I was done with their lack of care and I called another vet, VCA Murrieta next to jack in the box, got me in SAME day! Called them back because we needed the xrays to confirm the drs suspicions, I told the receptionist on the phone about my experience and she told me the “dr was trying to save me money” can you believe this?!? My cat was suffering!!!!Anyways,We got the terrible news that her tail would have to be amputated and my poor fur baby has been in excruciating pain for almost 2 weeks now!!! Surgery is all done, my cat is recovering (finally)Moral of this, stay FAR FAR FAR away from this place. They don’t care about their customers AT ALL!

Horrible place, I will never recommend anyone to go here. I came in with my puppy who was very sick and not eating, we thought she had the parvovirus and got her tested thankfully she didnt, but we still didnt know what was wrong, thus we got an x-ray, her x-ray showed gas buildup. they gave us two options surgery or euthanize. we decided not to do the surgery and we didnt want to put her down. so instead of helping her, they threated to call animal control and tried to force us to have the surgery because we were supposedly hurting her. we asked for our puppy back and they didnt want to bring her out. two days later we got a visit from animal control thankfully our puppy was back to her old self and eating again no thanks to Menifee Animal Hospital.Response to the owner: as she is my puppy I had the right to another opinion and I never said she did not get treatment.

Im sorry to say the first time here was to have our cat Pepper put down. My wife said they couldnt of been more understanding about how hard this was for her. They let her into a room as soon as she got there so she could hold the cat and spend the last time together in private. I called to find out about having my elderly dog euthanized due to her poor health and I spoke to the first girl and everything seemed ok. Then I called back later that day and got a different girl with different answers. She said she needed to ask the doctor about a few questions i had, then the next thing I know is they are telling me thet are unable to do anything due to the covidid-19. Well, I came to this site to look for my friend Sherrys review, but I guess she hasnt written it yet. So Ill put down what she told me. Her wonderful middle-aged dog, Mick, recently had to be euthanized because of a nasty immune disease. So the only dog she has left is a 19 year-old Parsons Jack Russell terrier, Buffy. Buffy has long had tooth problems, so Sherry elected, with great trepidation about putting such an old dog under anesthesia, to have all her remaining teeth removed. Sherry was very happy with the cost; the vets gave her multiple discounts to make it affordable, and even accepted a coupon, too. The bet thing: Not only did the elderly dog survive the surgery, but she is sooooooo much happier and healthier!Her experience was so different than the review written by another person that it makes me wonder why. This happened to a great mechanics shop I use, Burkes Automotive in Riverside. It got something like 4 out of 5 stars; -- all fives except for one 1. When I asked the main person, Kevin, why that was, it turned out that the one 1 rating was from someone who was simply unreasonable, and Kevins explanation made a lot of sense. Plus, it was a Yelp review, and Yelp censors reviews! I wrote a review of Burkes, and included in it info about the event which resulted in the solitary 1 rating. Did Yelp publish MY review? No. So consumers really need to find reviews by people they know.

They were aware that I had to borrow the money to take my dog in for having seizures they charged me $125 for one supply because the vet preferred to give me the in house medication the next month I asked for them to write me the prescription so I can get it filled else where. I took the prescription to CVS and I only pay $46 and some change for a 3 month supply for the SAME EXACT medication even the brand name is the same. Having just moved from New Jersey, I had no recommendations for a Vet, and chose this place based on the great reviews. Like we all feel, my dog is my child, and Id will only give the the best possible care. They took me in immediately, and were beyond knowledgeable and helpful, and explained exactly what was going on to try to calm me down. I was shaken up He had a complication with a calcified disc, that broke loose and was putting pressure on his spinal cord. The procedure he needed was going to be tricky and risky, but Dr. DiMeglio and her warm staff went over every aspect in great detail with me and made sure I understood exactly what was going to happen and that we were comfortable with the risks, rewards, price, and recovery time / procedures. By the next day I was 100% confident we were doing everything possible, and so quickly too. My little boy was kept comfortable overnight, and she even had one of her vet techs come by in the middle of the night to check on him even though they were closed. I cant tell you all how comforting those small gestures mean when you have youre loved one afraid and alone in a new place trying to figure out why they dont feel good. I wouldve mortgaged my house to pay for any operation he needed, but luckily I didnt have to. I was blown away at how affordable the extremely complicated surgery was. When I left, we went over and over exactly how to care for him and exactly what to do, until I could get it through my thick skull and felt completely comfortable taking him home to recover. The quality of the work was impeccable, and my boy is doing amazingly well now, still on the mend, but will make a full recovery and actually be running like normal. I still cant believe it since he was literally paralyzed just a short time ago. Thank you Thank you Thank you Dr. DiMeglio and youre unbelievable staff, You can tell they have a genuine true love for what they do there. I believe everyone needs a good Mechanic and a good Vet they can trust, Now I have my Vet, and I will never go anywhere else.I dont know what crazy pills Adrienne D took before writing her review, but she sounds like that person. Her experience must have taken place in bizarro world, because that could not be a more drastically different experience than I had, or apparently all the other reviewers. and BTW, quality care doesnt come from the 99cent store. It comes from Menifee Animal Hospital. Nuf said.

A HUGE thank you to everyone at Menifee Animal Hospital!Every single vet, tech, and receptionist were amazing.My husband and I took in our 10 month old boxer and found out he had parvo. A pretty devestaing diagnosis, but everyone was so encouraging and everyday we’ve gone in for the last week they’ve been on top of the game plan. They gave us options and helped us find the best treatment plan while still being conscientious of costs.Olaf is doing amazing and back to his normal self, the best Christmas gift we could ask for was for our baby to pull through and have his first Christmas here at home. Extremely disappointed as I put my cat down and someone didnt do their job correctly, and I didnt receive her paw print, add insult to injury the doctor that put my animal down was very cold to me. I will never use this facility again as they have broken my trust with them...Be aware if you have to put your animal down, rude doctor, not all the docs are bad here but this time I am extremely unhappy and not satisfied with an I am sorry!

I have taken my furbaby here for on a few occasions and the staff has always been great! They were super easy to talk to and are very caring! The staff is great and they are not super overpriced which is a plus, i would (and have) definitely recommend to people.

A few years ago my Titus, dog had a huge tumor. Doctor removed mass. He is been great, healed well. Now I need to call about my other dog, sadly its his time. 15 years old and a ton of worries and problems. I know when I call for the help they will understand and help me though this time with my family member. Review to follow, as I make my dreadful call.

When my daughter was out of town, her teenage cat was hit by a car. I asked the hospital if there was anything they could do. They wasted money and time with unnecessary testing before mercifully euthanizing the poor cat. $800A more honest vet would have let me know that only under extraordinary circumstances and with major medical intervention, could the cats life be spared.

If it were possible to give negative stars I would,this place has ZERO compassion for animals and are only concerned with cash. My dog was shot in the head with a .45 calibur gun by someone trespassing on our property and because I didnt have 2500 cash on the spot they refused to do anything,not even stop the bleeding. They are sick and twisted to allow any animal to suffer

We began taking our pets to Menifee Animal Hospital 4 years ago and knew right away that this was the place for our pets. Immediately we knew that they loved our pets.Sadly, the biggest test came when we learned that our little Kona was very sick and did not have a lot of time left. When it was time to make the most difficult decision I’ve ever had to make, we were treated with so much love from all of the staff. It was such a hard time for me and I was a mess but Dr Rosado was so comforting. A week later, I was surprised to receive a sympathy card from the staff. Each staff member personally wrote a heartfelt note. I was in tears again but this time they were tears for the love I felt. Thank you all for taking such good care of my Kona ❤️

Will not be returning. They would not answe my calls and one time slammed the phone on me. I spent a lot of money on both my pets there. But no more. I paid for seizure medication, i was given just a few. I had to use my friends phone to make the call. I was told very harshly that they come in is when i will get them. Took our dog, Kai, to MAH and their Reception was very friendly, their tech/assistant was caring, and Dr. DiMeglio was wonderful. She was very careful and caressing with him. She was very honest and didnt push for extra services! At previous clinics, vetenerians have pushed for testing, blood work, x-rays; but Dr. DiMeglio didnt want to go that route, she just recommended that we monitor him for a couple of days to see if that would take care of his problem. I love that about her and their clinic. If it isnt necessary, they dont push for extra services. She gave her recommendations, was to the point, and we were on our way.Btw: Its not our first time there and evertime we have taken our pups, they have been great, their prices for their services are very very reasonable, and one of the better clinics Weve been to.Thank you Dr. DiMeglio and staff of MHA.

They never have appointments available. When you call and ask a question they say they can’t help you. Our dog had diarrhea and they tested her for Girardia (which she had already been on medicine for twice even tho the tests were negative!). The test came back negative again and they put her on medicine for it anyway. Turns out she has food allergies (which we did not find out from them). So thank you for wasting our money and time and misdiagnosing our dog and keeping her in pain for months. Finally, when we asked for copies of our pets records they want to charge $20. Just go to another vet.

Yes Yes Yes! They have VERY VERY reasonable prices and very good vets! They genuinely CARE about your animal, and do not try to overcharge you, or suggest costly tests that you do not need. I have 5 cats and will be going here for all of their healthcare. If you want a vet that you can trust, and will not break the bank, go here. They are very professional, knowledgeable and reliable. We went in during COVID and they took my dog from the car. I talked to the vet and she recommended a list of things for my dog. I specifically told her I wanted 2 of those things and they ended up charging me for what I did not want, in addition to other things that she did not discuss with me. Ive given this animal hospital 3 tries so far.First time I went there to get my pets shots. Dr. DiMeglio (the blonde lady) came in and was a little cold.I went there a second time when my husky had a bad case of diarrhea and wouldnt eat. When the doctor came in she was telling me he had a GREAT chance of parvo even though he was over a year at the time and fully vaccinated with no other signs of parvo. Im not a vet but I could tell you he didnt have parvo. She kept pushing us into paying her the $65 (or whatever it was) for the parvo test. When I told her no she seemed to keep getting more irrate and kept pushing us to do it. I told her several times no that I did not want to do the parvo test. Then she insisted that I give him a special shot to take away his nausea which was another $30 (give or take) when I said I think we would pass on the shot she rolled her eyes and gave me a nasty look and tone of voice like I was not buying all her recommendations. After she realized I was not the type of client that was going to open my wallet and throw money at her she finally gave us some anti diarrhea pills for him and recommended a bland diet. She made us carry him out the front as if he was sick with parvo. He did not have parvo, like I thought. After 3 days of a bland diet and his anti diarrhea pills he was back to normal.Then my mom took her black lab to Dr. DiMeglio after he got a small boil on his paw. He plays with the husky and they play rough like big dogs do. Running in the yard and pushing each other. We take EXCELLENT care of our animals. She questioned my mom as if we had beaten our dog and thats why he had a scratch near his eye. When we left she said something snotty to the tone of see you late kash hope your eye gets better.
