We’ve refinanced through Menconi and Associates a few times. It’s a family run business headed by Mark Menconi and his daughter Nicole backs him up. They are a great team. All transactions are very transparent. Mark is available anytime for questions and Nicole is on top of all the paperwork. Our most recent refinance was so very easy. My experience with Mark Menconi, Jr. was excellent. I was referred by a friend who was getting a re-fi through his company. She was referred by a longtime customer of his. Mark called me back within two minutes of my leaving a voicemail. He started right away on my re-fi. We did everything over the phone or via email or text, all of which was efficient and expeditious. He found a great rate and a loan that met my demands. I now have a low-rate loan for 15 years and a lower payment to boot. The process, start to finish, was about four weeks. Both are phenomenal people to work with, very knowelgeable, kind and patient. They walked me through the financing and purchase of my new home and were happy to take things at my pace when the house hunt was stunted due to an unexpected injury that put me on short term disability leave. Mark Menconi Jr helped me find the house that would become my new home and advised me on every aspect of the purchase and negotiated the price down to what was affordable for me. I must also mention that he even helped me house hunt when my injury prevented me from driving and climbing stairs! Mark Menconi Sr. has been the broker for many of my co workers and has a reputation for always getting the lowest interest rates. He was great about explaining the process to me and walking me through the math (repeatedly) to help me understand what I could afford. The whole firm worked together on every aspect of my purchase so that all I really had to do is show up for the inspections and electronically sign documents. I would recommend this firm to anyone purchasing a home and especially any first time home buyers. Buying your first home is nerve wrecking but Mark did everything he could to reassure us throughout the process. Even when things did not go quite as planned, Mark was very creative in his solutions and found a way to work around any challenge that we came across. However, Mark made us feel very at ease. Honestly, we were a huge pain in the butt asking every question under the sun and even demanded that we meet him in person. He obliged our every request. I cant say enough good things about Mark and his staff. If you are questioning wether you should use them or not, I challenge you to sit with Mark and question him until you are satisfied. I was very pleased with the level of service I received from Menconi and Associates. However, before I became aware of them, I was overwhelmed with solicitations through US mail, TV, and online ads. I engaged two of the most visible lenders and began to compare their interest rates and closing costs.It seemed that all of the enders were advertising no cost refinancing at low rates. Since the cost of money was so low, I wanted to get a refi with cash back. However, the terms for cash back refis required higher interest rates and closing cost.The lenders were quick to send me forms for my signature so that they could start the process. But they were slow to answer their phones and return my calls when I had questions. They would respond to my phone messages by sending me emails stating I just needed to read and sign the paperwork they had already mailed me.I spoke to a relative and mentioned my dissatisfaction with the lack of accessibility and poor responsiveness I was getting from lenders. My family member advised my that they were very happy with the responsiveness they had received Menconi and Associates on her refi. She had been referred to them by her close friend that had also had a good experience with them on her refi.I called Menconi and Associates and someone immediately answered the phone, no waiting for an answering machine, no having to leave a message, no need to wait for a call back within 24 hours. I informed Mark Menconi regarding my requirements and he took the ball from there, seeking the best deal for me.Throughout the process Mark kept me informed, every step along the way.
