Disappointed with McDonaldsI recently visited a McDonalds location and left feeling incredibly frustrated and disappointed. As a business consultant specializing in quick-service restaurants, I have always respected McDonalds for its customer-centric approach and efficiency. However, my latest experience left much to be desired.Upon entering the restaurant, I was immediately directed to use the self-service kiosks to place my order. This “going digital” strategy might seem forward-thinking on paper, but in practice, it falls short. The kiosk interface was anything but user-friendly, and after several minutes of fumbling through the options, I still wasn’t able to customize my meal the way I wanted. The touch screens were unresponsive and frustrating to navigate.What’s more concerning is the apparent lack of oversight and atmosphere management. During my visit, I noticed a homeless man sleeping in the corner of the dining area. While I understand that every business has to navigate complex social issues, it was disconcerting to see such a situation in what is supposed to be a welcoming and clean environment for all customers. This is a place of business, and maintaining a safe and inviting atmosphere should be a priority.McDonalds has built its reputation on quick service and customer satisfaction, but the reliance on these impersonal kiosks and the lack of proper restaurant management are undermining those very principles. If this is the future of McDonalds, its clear that significant improvements are needed.As someone who advises businesses on how to excel, I can only urge McDonalds to reconsider their approach. Digital tools should enhance the customer experience, not detract from it. Please, do better.

The staff is great. Hard working and polite. The problem is the big sign that says lets go digital. Aside from the obvious reasons this is wrong, its also affecting the quality of service; drive through is prioritized and lobby customers are ignored. I dont recommend any McDonalds without a cashier (human) in the lobby.

Horrible service. Not ever coming back to this McDonalds. They do not honor the mobile order app. The Honor of condiments isnt respected at this location. Something about nuggets but still app needs to be respected.Many fast food apps such as Burger King has limits on their apps so would make sense but a app which doesnt have a limit and was only 5 sauces. For a two meal order.Unfortunately this location didnt respect it.

I hate this McDonalds. Management here always talks down to me and belittles my intelligence. I dont know every caveat to their app but according to their manager that means I dont know how to read. Their words, not mine. Not once but several times I have given them a code and it goes thru at the speaker but when I go to pay it does not go thru for some reason and I am out the points or deal because management refuses to do anything about it. They love to tell me theres nothing I can do. This is the second time I leave crying because I am made to feel that all the blame is on me and me alone without any attempt to right a wrong or meet me halfway.Dont bother trying to call and complain because no one picks up. Again, you can try speaking with management in house but itll just be your fault the order is wrong. So why bother? Save yourself the headache and hurt feelings and just avoid this McDonalds at all costs.

You would think all McDonalds are the same - but this one was not. Finding the entrance was a challenge, the person on the speaker in the drive thru was hard to understand and couldnt answer my basic questions -- and asked me to wait twice. I was in the left side of the double drive thru and 2 other cars pulled up and ordered while I waited to place my order.When we got to the window the pay the person there (different from the one that took my order) was not friendly, did not say thank you and just overall didnt look like he wanted to be there -- though I guess in his place I may have felt the same way.I love to get an iced tea for my long commute - but after this visit I chose to go without the next day even though I drove right by this location on my way out of town.

So I ordered a couple days ago thru the mobile app at around 10pm just ordered a frappe & at the drive thru they told me they didnt have it so at the window I wanted to know how to get my money back they seemed really bothered & said thru the app but the app doesnt let me so the employee told the manager and the Manager made me my frappe after they said they didnt have any & just handed it to me and shut the window quick. So I have no clue why they would lie about having no frappes when they do or be bothered in general for a refund when the suppose item is not avaliable unless they simply didnt want to make it.

The experiment of a DIY fast food restaurant is in effect. There is no such service outside of calling your name for your order. All orders had to been done on a kiosk. If you want to order with a real person, its like getting help at homedepot.They avoid you until you catch them calling out a order.Plus all the tables were dirty and they have no napkins available for customers to clean the tables.So once again, you have to catch someone to clean the tables, and they dont dry them off. That has to be another request.Also, they dont allow refills and they fill the cups up with ice so you only get about 1/3 of the actual drink.To top it off, they give you 4 napkins between 2 people. So thats another awaited request.Penny pinching is one thing, but this seems like something worst. So if you go there, make sure its only to-go. Wait I think thats their point. Only for to-go, dine in at your own risk.

YOU CANT ORDER IN PERSON YOU HAVE TO USE THE SELF SERVE COMPUTER AND IT DOSENT LET YOU CUSTOMIZE WHAT YOU WANT ONLY THE SMALL LIST OF OPTIONS THEY CHOOSE. AND WHEN YOU ASK FOR HELP THEY GIVE YOU AN ATTITUDE.
