I was engaged by their rep Bo Sullivan since I own smoke shops. He guarantee me one percent flat rate. Within a month and a half his lies came to light and it cost me hundreds. I do not recommend this company, especially if the representative Bo Sullivan has anything to do with it. For a month and a half I engaged him trying to get straight answers and never could. This is a company not to be trusted.

As a telehealth provider, we had a highly negative experience with Maverick Payments. They banned our account without any notice or chargebacks, claiming we were breaking Visa and Mastercard rules due to our online prescription services. This is patently false, as we are LegitScript certified, which means we are approved by Visa and Mastercard. Only LegitScript certification holders can have a merchant account for telehealth treatments involving no card present transactions. Maverick also mistakenly listed us as an online pharmacy when we are solely the doctor arm of our practice.Despite having our attorney write a detailed response debunking their claims, Maverick has ignored our attempts to resolve the issue and is holding our funds, effectively stealing from us. Business owners should beware of Maverick Payments. They are not educated on the most current rules and standards for merchant processing and have terrible customer service. We strongly advise against doing business with them.June 28th UPDATE!In your response, you stated that you identified our business as a card-not-present pharmacy merchant that processes transactions for prescription products without proper medical consultation or prescriptions. However, this assessment is inaccurate and fails to consider the actual practices of our company.First and foremost, we do not collect payments prior to purchase. Like other reputable businesses in our industry, we preauthorize payments to ensure the validity of the transaction. If you had taken the time to contact us and discuss your concerns, we would have gladly provided you with this information and worked towards resolving any issues you perceived. Instead, you chose to abruptly shut down our account, causing significant disruption to our business operations.Business owners should be aware that Maverick Payment appears to make decisions without gathering all the necessary facts. They have demonstrated very poor business practices by failing to reach out to us before taking such drastic action. I strongly advise any online business owner to think twice before entrusting their payment processing needs to Maverick, as they have shown a clear lack of due diligence and communication.Furthermore, we have noticed that there are funds missing from our account, and as our payment processor, you are responsible for ensuring the proper handling of these transactions. Since you have failed to address this issue and have not provided any clarity on the matter, we have no choice but to escalate this situation. Our legal counsel will be tasked with proving these points in court, as it seems that this is the only way to resolve the matter and recover our missing funds.We look forward to presenting our case and exposing the truth behind your companys actions. Best Merchant account/Best peopleThis is the best merchant account you can have. Steve Lane who is amazing and answers his emails fast and always kind a thorough is one of the reasons I love this company. It makes you realize how important it is to have someone to go to when you have an issue or even a pressing question. He is literally always prompt as well as anyone that answers a ticket you open, They are always kind, always fast and always fair. I love these people.

We absolutely love Maverick! The ease of use of their Dashboard is one of our favorite features! Besides that, we absolutely appreciate our Relationship Manager, Unise Chevez! I have owned several businesses over 30 years and have had many experiences with payment processors. Maverick Payments has had the best customer service BY FAR!!! I call, they answer and fix any issues i have. You will not regret using Maverick Payments as your payment processor.

Not sure about other peoples issues, but after switching to Maverick from our longtime (10+ years) processor a couple of years ago, weve had zero problems. We always had good rates but when we needed to find a new processor, Maverick came in better than the others by far. Our old merchant services contact was trying to broker us up with another firm, but when he heard what Maverick quoted us his response was that we were paying less than the processor HE was trying to hook us up with. 10/10 stars would recommend. Also, it looks like alot of the negative reviews are from Adult Services sites, we sell glass art.
