My partner and I are shopping for a new mattress and decided to stop in and try out some mattresses during Memorial Day weekend to take advantage of the sale. Sam was our sleep expert and was knowledgeable, giving us some valuable insight on what might work best for our needs. He answered all of our questions and was not pushy at all. We weren’t quite ready to bite the bullet yet, but I would not hesitate to come back and have Sam set us up! Great customer service and experience.

David has been very helpful to help me pick the most suitable mattress for my family. I am very amazed at how knowledgeable he was ! I was hesitated at first because there were a lot of choices. David helped creating a profile for me, giving me everything i need before i went home. A week after, David still remembered me! I went in there just looking for good cooling pillows but he took his time with me and answered all my questions about pillows as well as cooling tempurpedic mattresses. The store has a great selection and laid out very nicely. We were greeted by Chris who is very knowledgeable and very friendly and answered every question my wife and myself had. Chris is very patient and at no point makes you feel rushed to make a decision.This is our second purchase from Mattress Firm in Elk Grove and when the need arises we will go back again. It was amazing. Just walked in, asked for the sales rack. Tried out the size wanted, bought it. Then, we asked if we could pick up the mattress from the warehouse, instead of having it delivered. The saleswoman got on the computer, and within a few minutes, set it up for same day pick up. She was incredible. The guys at the warehouse were great, too. And this saved us $99. Thank you! We were in need of a mattress ASAP, they had none in stock. Instead of turning us away they talk to us about the differences and stores in the area that might have a full in stock, knowing I did not plan at the time to buy from them. We left and drove to other stores still not finding what we need today. Remembering he told us he could have it delivered tomorrow evening we drove back to the store and because of the welcoming vibes and how kind they treated us when they thought we weren’t buying I was very happy to give them my business. We had an amazing experience at the Laguna Elk Grove Mattress Firm with J.D. Smith. He was extremely friendly and knew the mattresses in and out. I was so pleased with our service and explaination of all the different mattresses and making sure we felt the difference as to be able to choose what would best fit our needs. No pressure at all from our salesman Michael he was great. Of course we left with purchasing a new bed for us and son. The deal was too good to pass up. This week I had an excellent experience purchasing a Simmons BeautyRest mattress and adjustable base from Vaughn at Mattress Firm in Elk Grove on Laguna Blvd. He understood my problems and knew exactly what bed I needed for my back pain, severe arthritis, and allergies. He patiently and courteously explained the features to help me decide. I’m a senior on a fixed income, and he treated me with kindness without trying to sell something I couldn’t afford. Went in after waiting for the president’s weekend sale to purchase a mattress. The service guy was extremely friendly & went above and beyond to help us pick out the mattress that fit us! So we picked out a Sterns Luxury which ended up not being the CalKing for queen price deal but was marked for 200 off. We added the best bundle for the standard sale price $500 so after spending 3300 cash I was not ever offered free delivery or nothing. If I’m spending that much for 1 mattress I want to leave happy like I got a good deal! I didn’t leave with that feeling at all, I left paying more than I planned plus $100 for delivery! You should go above & beyond so customers would be happy & bring business back! I was extremely happy by the service until it came time to check out! I have 3 more rooms to buy beds for and I can’t say I would return!! The little things matter & if the delivery fee was waived I would return for my other 3 rooms!!!!!! 02/14/2021* -I plan on updating my review after set up and delivery this week. This is based solely on my in-store experience.I visited this location multiple times over the week, after having several negative experiences for the past year at the location up the street. Customer service at this location kept me coming back and re-thinking waiting any longer. My main point of contact was Michael, who was patient with me and others I noticed that needed extra assistance (including nonambulatory/elderly folks). I was in the store for more time than ill admit, and being that it is a huge investment and $ being tight during COVID, I was more indecisive than I normally am.I thought I was going to go for a popular online bed-in-a-box hybrid based on reviews. My last two mattresses were pillow top innersprings, and I decided I wanted a hybrid that would hold firm. I was considering a purple hybrid, so I went in the first time to test Purple and others to have an idea before I pulled the trigger on an online option I couldnt feel beforehand. Michael was knowledgeable and made recommendations, while also being honest in my apprehension about how many people I knew that returned their Purple mattresses after some time.Fast forward to presidents day weekend, I needed to decide that day and go for it; I opted for a Sealy hybrid. I needed to save enough $ to afford an adjustable base I really wanted [I did so much research, I had a spreadsheet on motor brands, warranty, etc]. I was able to get a top notch adjustable base At the end of the day, I felt decently about the deal Id gotten. Even though my original set-up plan would have been considerably cheaper, at the end of the day, warranties and ease of exchange/returns as well as the two day turnaround made the deal for me. Michael helped me out with every feature and service I wanted, but could no way have afforded at face value. I couldnt imagine waiting and if I dont love the mattress, they haul it back.Overall, my experience in this store was not high pressure and between the other stores being so negative, and my immediate need, id recommend this location for sure, especially Michael and Rennie (store supervisor who was also very helpful in my indecision). Im looking very forward to not sleeping on the couch.

I went into Mattress Firm just to see what kind of mattress I would like, Its been 15 years since Ive slept on a decent mattress. I was met but Justin, and he showed me around. I never felt pressured, he let me lay on quite a few different mattress and made some recommendations. I fell in love with the Beautyrest black and he presented me with an amazing deal, and tho I wasnt looking to buy in that moment, I couldnt refuse. We have been looking around for a bed for a while(like a few months now) but just didnt feel good about the prices or the pushy salesmen nipping at our heels. That all changed today! Our first time in the Laguna Blvd, Elk Grove, CA Mattress Firm store, we were warmly greeted by Dave. He wasnt pushy or obnoxious. He was simply helpful and approachable. He showed us around to several models, inquiring about our needs and letting us test them out, even though we made it clear up front we were still just researching today. As he told us about the beds features, their current sales and extras he could offer, our ears perked. With his comfortable demeanor and informative nature, we felt good about making the purchase today. He scheduled the delivery for later in the week when our schedules will work best.
