Matt McPherson is a uniquely valuable and talented Real Estate Broker. Not only is he a highly experienced Realtor but he is also an highly experienced Appraiser. This is value add that is rare in the sea of Realtors. Matts ability to understand home values is tremendously valuable to his clients. There isnt enough stars in a review to give to Matt. He is the total package both as a human being and a professional realtor. He is humorous, understanding, caring, passionate, and every other positive adjective you can think of. When it comes to being a realtor, not only is he great at what he does, but he is also a licensed appraiser which presents an immense value proposition. Makes him a one-stop shop. I highly recommend Matt. Matt was our realtor representing us as sellers on two residential properties in Burbank. In one of the sales, Matt represented both sides of the sale and both the buyer and the seller are happy with the negotiated results! Matt has a no surprises approach that helps to assure a positive result. Matts marketing system included an internet presence, flyers and open houses. Matt personally attended the open houses and met the buyers of one of the properties at the open house. Matt is very energetic and worked very hard to sell our properties as quickly as possible, while maximizing the sale price. He is very knowledgeable regarding all aspects of real estate sales, and provided advice and insight into the process. There arent enough stars to rate Matt, but I guess that 5 is a good start.

This was my second time working with Matt. Hes just the best and Ill always use him for all of my home buying and selling needs. Matt was so great at communicating and keeping me informed for each step of the process. There were never any big surprises and with Matts resourcefulness, there was never any issue that wasnt easily solved. House hunting is not an easy process… at least, it wasn’t for me. It took at solid 6 months before I found my home and I worked with Matt for 5 of those months. Through laughter and (literally) tears, feelings of hope and hopelessness, Matt was always a present, positive, motivating, diligent, spirit-lifting, encouraging, understanding, patient force who, most of all, was on my side no matter what. These mere words don’t give enough justice to the amount of appreciation and high level of regard I have for Matt. I toured over 130 homes before Matt’s persistence and well planned negotiations landed me into the place I now call home. Matt’s background in appraisal work provided invaluable information as we toured homes, giving me a realist idea of what homes I was interested in may need in terms of renovations and/or required maintenance. He is a fair-minded professional who always had my best interest in mind, keeping me mindful of my budget and providing education about steps involved in securing the loan to needed inspections to escrow to closing the loan. I don’t bode well with surprises, and Matt made certain I knew what to expect throughout the entire process. I truly cannot say enough about Matt McPherson. He is extremely professional, diligent and knowledgeable. What sets him apart, however, is his willingness to go the extra mile to make sure the house is ready to sell, or that the deal stays on track. All of his recommended vendors were top-notch, and every other person involved in the transactions had nothing but glowing praise for Matt. Through no fault of Matts we had a hiccup in the deal with our sale, and Matt spent the entire day on the phone and on the road, ensuring that the deal proceeded, that we had a back-up offer secured, that the house we were buying was still in track, and that those sellers did not lose their future rental. The details were dizzying, but he handled it all flawlessly. I have already strenuously recommended Matt McPherson to many of my friends, and I will continue to do so.

Matt is all in! He goes the extra mile. He was present when the appraiser came to appraise my property and provided pertinent information to the appraiser which he would not have considered had Matt not been there.He is responsive and engaged in all aspects of the process. He promptly responds to texts and answers all questions. He personally took care of some minor repairs that were needed without charging for his work. Very pleasant and personable with a good sense of humor. I wouldnt hesitate for a moment to recommend him to my close friends and family!

We’ve worked with numerous realtors throughout our lives, so we had an idea of what to expect, but Matt exceeded our expectations. He was friendly, patient, resourceful, and responsive. He listened to our concerns, offered knowledgeable and professional advice, and responded quickly to emails and phone calls. He also had a team of vendors for painting, repairs, cleaning, etc., who were able to come in a timely manner to do the work required to get our home ready to list. We began looking at houses with Matt in July 2020 with circumstances that definitely werent ideal; given the fact it was the middle of a pandemic, and with the housing market getting crazier each day. Despite these conditions beyond our control, Matt was the most reliable, hardworking, and patient advocate we could have ever asked for. He was accommodating and flexible with our schedules, and would clear his entire day to set up showings to make the most of our time. In an extremely competitive and stressful climate, Matt always treats the sellers AND buyers agents with the most respect which really put us at ease.As first time home buyers, we appreciated that he went out of his way to explain every document and every step of escrow with our interests in mind. Matt has provided above and beyond my expectations of what a real estate broker should do. For 2+ months, he went with us every weekend to look at condo to buy. He was always prompt (usually early), and was always on top of any communications. I was never left hanging, wondering what the answer to my questions were. He never pushed a sale, and was honest when a place looked like it wasnt worth it. His advice was always given in good faith, and I never once felt like he was just trying to get us to buy a place and finally be done with it. I find that incredibly amazing because after 2+ months, I was ready to give up, but Matt stuck through until the end. Even during escrow, he always asked for updates to make sure things were going on schedule.I especially recommend Matt if you are a first time home buyer. He will put your uncertainties to rest. This was not our first home, so I felt I could not take full advantage of what Matt truly offered because I was already somewhat familiar with the home buying experience. He gives good advice, and has never left me waiting more than an hour to reply to my communications. One great reason his advice is good is because he has experience as a home inspector as well, so he knows what kinds of hidden things to look for.We happened upon Matt sort of by accident through Redfin, but Im really glad we did.
