My 15 year old son was seen last month. From the moment the doctor stepped into the room she was very unwelcoming. Her demeanor was dismissive and downright rude, displaying a lack of empathy that left my son and I feeling very undervalued. The doctor’s bedside manner was severely lacking. She exhibited impatience and condescension, making us feel as though we were wasting her time. The doctor’s diagnosis appeared rushed and superficial, lacking the depth and consideration one would expect from a healthcare professional. Overall, my experience with this doctor was highly unsatisfactory. Her dismissive attitude, poor communication skills, and lack of compassion overshadowed any potential medical expertise she may possess. I would not recommend her to anyone seeking respectful and attentive medical care. Patients deserve better than to be treated with such disdain and disrespect.

This urgent Care is amazing! From start to finish the process was made very easy and everything was explained to me for things I had questions about in a very caring non-judgmental way. They were very thorough with the examination they provided for my daughter. They send prescriptions directly to my pharmacy and showed me and my daughter is such compassion and care that I will not go to another Urgent Care again. I want to thank all of the staff at the Mission Viejo location for making this trip so easy and showing such great bedside manner and truly caring about the situation at hand. You all made this process smooth and truly showed how much you care about your patients. Thanks again.

I wish I knew the lady’s name who helped me this morning.. (6/23/24) she was VERY helpful. My dr is out of town and I need a medication prescribed I’ve been on for 6 years… talked to several urgent care locations who said that’s not an urgent care issue. The lady at marque mission viejo reached out to a lot of different locations for me and finally found one in San Diego who would help me! It is refreshing when someone actually does right by patients and goes the extra mile even when they definitely don’t have to. Thank you so much marque mission viejo!

I don’t understand why this place has so high reviews, I’ve been here 3 times in the last year and each time it gets worse. Most recently I was scheduled for a preop EKG and when scheduling the appointment they asked if my insurance was the same. Then when I came in for the appointment they informed me they never bill insurance for an EKG, I was ok with it I have a great PPO and would just need a super bill to submit. But they won’t even due that. They should have informed me when I scheduled the appointment that they won’t bill an EKG instead of asking if my insurance was still the same. It feels like they did this on purpose because now I may not have time to get it done somewhere else.

Its Friday of a hard week. I havent felt well. Contacted a tele-med doctor and he didnt listen, told me it was a cold. It was a waste of time. Finally today my husband hauled me down to Marque Mission Viejo. What a find! The staff were prompt, kind, attentive, empathetic!!!! Our provider (Tamar Davidson) was so attentive, like guardian angel attentive. Understood the problem, did a breathing treatment in-house. Sent over the prescriptions and I truly believe I might live to see the weekend. It sounds so dramatic, but I was starting to wonder. Thank you for making a huge difference not only in my day, but in my faith in humanity.

Very good experience at the Marque Urgent Care in Mission Viejo. My almost 4 year old hit the back of her head really hard on the sidewalk. Head stuff freaks me out and I brought her in super upset and concerned. She was seen in a relatively short period of time especially for an urgent care and they have a very kid-friendly waiting area with pretend play items both my daughters were able to use. The pediatrician who saw us was very kind and conducted a thorough examination and was patient in answering all my questions and providing helpful information. Minus a screaming meltdown (my almost 4 year old), who was “done” listening to mom (me) when we were leaving the office (it was a whole super loud public thing and semi embarrassing but hey, we’re used to toddler tantrums and she had been through a lot that day poor girl), everything went very well! We’re grateful for this place and appreciate the professionalism and friendly environment. Thank you again to staff and Pediatrician. Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!

Made an appt on my phone at 6:30am for 8:15. Walked in at 8:15, was seen quickly. Exam was thorough and care provided felt right. Picked up my prescriptions from cvs in the same center and was home by 9:00. Great resource for the neighborhood would def recommend.

The staff was kind, attentive, and caring when I arrived feeling very weak and sick. The provider asked appropriate questions, examined the areas pertinent to my complaints, and moved quickly to make sure I had a diagnosis AND was able to pick up my prescription from a pharmacy that was still open at that late hour. Brought my elderly sister in who was suffering from dehydration and a UTI. The staff was incredibly professional and helpful. The PA on duty, Tamar, went above and beyond and demonstrated a high level of competence, skill and compassion. She followed up the next day with a phone call to inquire about my sisters condition. Amazing experience, beyond my expectations.

Every time I come here, I get sent home with no medication, or a “it’s okay. She’s a kid. The cold/ cough will pass over in a week”. Literally every time, I wanna say I’ve only had one visit that went well out of the handful of times I’ve been there. I went in today because my daughter has a cough & a possible ear infection. They couldn’t clean her ear out, because shes a 3 year old who isn’t going to sit still & that’s okay, not the staff’s fault. However, they prescribed me ear drops that weren’t even covered by our insurance & didn’t even address the cough. It was a waste of time coming here. Maybe I get treated differently bc my kids have medical? Also, it’s a pediatrics urgent care & it doesn’t seem like any of the staff enjoy working with kids. Last time I’m coming here.

Marque Mission Viejo Urgent Care is my go-to whenever my son needs to be seen. They have CHOC pediatricians on-site and we are always seen quickly. I’ve never had a bad experience and I would always recommend this urgent care.

Very short wait. I saw a doctor who looked at my ear canal and then prescribed an antibiotic. We were able to collect the medicine less than an hour later. It seems to be working. I am very satisfied with the experience. Thank you!

At all locations we went to the front desk staff and attending physicians provided excellent service. I particularly appreciated how Heather praised her assisting staff. Many times I hear the opposite in health care settings so it’s refreshing to hear staff praise each other and work together as a team. I also appreciated Heather requesting a follow up visit for my daughter to make sure her problem was resolving with the treatment plan that was in place. I have never been to an urgent care that wanted to follow up with the patient other then being told if things get worst come back. So, it was nice to have a follow up to insure the treatment plan was working. Additionally, the follow up text messages to further ensure that my daughter was feeling good was helpful and shows me that there is an extra level of care that the company is trying to communicate and it does work. I have 4 children and have had many health care experiences. This particular urgent care chain definitely sets itself a part from the rest. The overall system of how the business operates is quick and efficient, the Individual patient plan is convenient, clear, and administered with genuine care and dignity. Front desk staff is top notch in my opinion. Health care staff especially Heather is exceptional and personable making cooperation in following the plan of care easier. Hours of operation is reasonable. It would be awesome if urgent cares stayed open later then 10pm but 8pm is later then many urgent cares around the city so I extend much gratitude for the later closing time. I could go on about this place but I’ll stop here.

Went in on Sunday to get an ear infection taken care of because pediatrician was closed. Son had a fever and history in ear infections. They sent us home with pain reliever and telling us that he just has clogged sinuses. We went the next morning to our pediatrician and he had a double ear infection, took antibiotics and cleared up in a day. Quite unacceptable.

My son injured his foot playing sports and needed to have it seen on a Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised to find an urgent care near me that was both associated with CHOC and had the capability for xrays. I was able to set a same day appointment, and I am pleased to announce that we were there for a total of 30 minutes. The customer service from start to finish was excellent with an exceptionally friendly and knowledgeable staff. The doctor took time the chat with us, gave us a thorough treatment plan and saved us some extra money by not pushing for xrays that didn’t seem necessary for my son. Overall, this was one of the most positive experiences I’ve ever had at any medical facility, including our regular doctors offices. I will absolutely be back. Thank you, Marque! Truly never knew such quality could exist with an urgent care.

I recently visited the Mission Viejo location and it’s still my favorite urgent care. The staff is friendly and welcoming. I was taken to my exam room in less than 5min(unheard of elsewhere) and saw the doctor in less than 10min. The physician was very thorough and knowledgeable and I felt at ease and confident in her recommendations. I have a marque urgent care within walking distance of my home but I drive 20min just to visit this one. It’s the best.

I was very happy with this Marque Urgent care they told me my wait time was 40 minutes but I end up waiting them minutes. The lady doctor was very nice I got my answer to why I was feeling dizzy I end up have an upper respiratory infection an ear infection. Most of the other Urgent care center would tell me that they’re nothing wrong with me. I end going to my Asthma specialist to get answers there was a lot more going on then what Urgent Care doctor would tell me.i will be definitely going back if I can’t get into my Internal Medicine or my Asthma specialist. My experience for myself and for my grandson or wonderful. Unfortunately yesterday, November 12th, I made an appointment for my husband I made it at 12:30 for 1 o’clock. He went at 1 o’clock and they told him oh they only had a pediatrician He made an appointment for the next day Monday for 9 AM. He went in and they told him he they did not have him on the record. He had a text telling him his appointment was on Monday at 9:00am. They told him he would have to wait.I understand that the scheduling is not precise and there could be a wait, but these two occurrences that happened in two days it’s really not acceptable.I am not sure who I need to contact, but I really need to let someone know that someone in your office is not scheduling correctly

Front desk girl was professional and efficient. Did not ask me to refill paperwork -just needed my updated insurance and she noted the reason for the visit. I was roomed within 5 minutes by a sweet and skilled MA. About 3 minutes later the PA saw me -shared a bit about my history and propensity for acquiring pneumonia. She did the most complete lung exam I have ever had. She requested the testing and the MA returned almost immediately to do them. It was truly exceptional care!!!

This location is always immaculately clean. Very modern and remodeled. The girls are very kind. There is still a wait- but nothing like at the emergency room. Thats probably one area they can improve on. I really liked that their other location in Rancho Santa Margarita offers you a drink of either hot coffee, hot tea or water. That was very nice so at least you have something to drink while you wait. I have always loved the doctors here and could easily pronounce their last names. I really enjoyed going here more than my primary! Parking can be a little bit difficult during busy hours but there’s not much they can do about that. Excellent location! Excellent staff.

Everyone was so nice! I was seen super quick. The PA was amazing! She was so lovely and and made my visit super easy and quick. It made me feel so great when she thanked me for my service. I never stated to her I was a veteran. So the time she took to learn about me was exceptional! I am so glad I came here for my care! It was very easy to set up an appointment by telephone. They were ready to see me a few minutes ahead of schedule. The nurse took my vital signs and updated my chart, basic information efficiently. The PA listen to my lungs and discussed my symptoms. She made useful recommendations about the OTC and prescription drugs I’m taking already. She prescribed additional medication and gave me the indications that would make it necessary for me to return to get further care.All of the staff from the front desk to the PA were professional, efficient and friendly.

Wonderful experience taking my 4 year old son to Marque. He had a lingering cough so I wanted to get him checked out. We were seen very quickly, they checked him out and were very thorough treating him. They checked his vitals and listened to his cough and breathing and decided he needed a breathing treatment. Erin showed a lot of care to make sure he was better before we left. I feel a lot of urgent cares just send you away with a prescription, but I feel like they actually took the time to treat him and understand what he needed to feel better. Erin even called the following day to make sure he was doing better. Thank you for you great care!

Really happy with both experiences I’ve had taking my toddler here. I arrived with high fever. Erin Wood took care of me with the nurse. They are both extremely professional, kind and warm.We did the Covid test, the flu, Strep. Everything was negative. I even had a blood test. I was at 102.4. This made me very uncomfortable to not know and Doctor Wood said just in case we could do a UTI test. Turns out that was it. I have a kidney infection. I received an antibiotic injection along with oral antibiotic. They even gave me ibuprofen to lower the fever. Im still not back on my feet but Id like to thank them both for taking care of me. It could have been way worse.

I was very impressed by Dr. Christopher Tenores service! We saw him for one of my kids. Dr. Tenore was very knowledgeable, explained in great details, spent enough time with us, had very good manners and great communication! He was awesome and I wish more doctors are like him and dont rush patients throughout the door or get inpatient after the first 5 min. they see you or that dont even look at you but are too busy typing stuff on their comments.Great doctor which made the experience great.The staff at the location we went was also very nice, friendly and helpful. They checked us in very fast and we were able to see a doctor in less than an hour without appointment.

Wanted share the wonderful experience I had over the weekend at Marque Urgent Care. I had gone around town in Mission Viejo hoping to walk-in for a UTI that sprung on me on a Sunday am. The doctor seems knowledgeable, but for pediatrics, the staff and doctor were so rude to kids.I waited outside for over an hour with a crying toddler and then, finally went inside to see a doctor. I was bit exhausted already since my sick child was crying for a while and to soothe him without showing TV, I played with and read books to him and his waiting brother. I dont know if this caused their rudeness, but when I went restroom leaving kids in a room, a male nurse asked my kid to shut the door kinda in a rude way. Shut the door. He already shut the door once loudly when we are first waiting inside.Also, when the doctor entered, she saw my sick child touching an examining tool. I normally would not let my kids touch those, but I was exhausted already (there were one patient ahead of us. And they let a patient who came after me go first too! I didnt argue with them at that time, but I was little mad.) so I just let him touch it since it was hung on the wall he was supposed lie down. But the doctor scolded a toddler that its not for him to play with. And she raised voice to kids to wear mask properly. We already took a covid test and I understand that they dont want to get sick from us, but the way they are acting and asking was so rude. I still always wear mask outside and hate causing any troubles or leaving bad review, but I feel like they shouldnt be working with sick patients or even sick children if they are going to treat patients like that.

Ive had to receive healthcare in Mexico before and the service I received there was better than what my son received here.He broke his ankle and we came in and and they took an X-ray. My daughters and I have always had such positive experiences at the Mission Viejo Marque Clinic over the last few years. The staff is friendly, approachable, experienced and most importantly, kind. I love this urgent care. They are quick, clean and thorough. I always feel satisfied when I leave. However, my most recent visit was a little disappointing. Check in was fast and while waiting in the exam room,we overheard the doctor consulting with the parents in next room in detail over and over and over. I even made the comment, wow he’s very thorough. Came in to our room asking what our visit was for then asked if we were vaccinated. When I answered no we are not, I noticed how fast our appointment went. He said, your daughter has all the checkboxes for said illness. Explained that she must have been around someone that had it or that person was a carrier. Basically implied, that’s just what happens. (But yet Covid is tested so differently I wanted to laugh) Did her vitals and it was the fastest I’ve ever seen. The door was already opened when he said, do you have anymore questions. I couldn’t help but feel we were treated as second class citizens because we disclosed that we were not vaccinated. Our answer did change the tone of the appointment, even though my daughter tested negative for Covid prior to entry.

I love them. This is such a convenient experience if you need an instant appt, refill, etc. I have always been able to get in within an hour, same day, schedule right online, be texted confirmations, choose phone call OR video chat.. and the Drs are always helpful, listen, compassionate, call in prescriptions, and quick to care..which lets face it..is all what we want in these types of cases. If only one could be my primary Dr..sigh. On to my search for that. Came in on Sunday for 11am appt, got seen at 12 past. Immediately, an asst did 2 throat swabs for strep test & for something else.By Wed I will know result. I did not want to have to come back so Erin Wood the PA agreed to prescribe antibiotics so i have it handy if the result turns out to be a bacterial infection. Meanwhile it is not to be taken until we know the result.When I called Wed to ask the result I was told the 2nd swab was not given to the lab because i was already taking antibiotics, which I was not because it has to be established first if what I have is bacterial infection before i take antibiotics. Firstly, swabbing is an uncomfortable test. Second, dont I want to know what kind of virus or bacteria I have?Third, doesnt Marque want to know what exactly is the problem to treat it properly?I specifically told Erin i was only going to take the antibiotics after the result of the swab came in. But they never even sent it to the lab. This is not at all a good experience for me & tells me this is not a reliable urgent care. Sub standard, unprofessional & disappointing. I arrived at the office mid-day with a migraine lasting over 3 days requesting a Toradol injection, sometimes that helps. The doctor came in pretty quickly, gave me a focused but thorough exam. He was sincerely very kind and sympathetic. Upon exam noticed I had muscle spasms in my upper back, neck & shoulders. He ordered the injection to be given, offered muscle relaxers for the spasms and asked if there was anything else he could do for me. Absolutely the most kind Urgent care doctor Ive ever seen. The care received helped tremendously and I was able to attend a family event that evening.I would give a perfect score, however, the assistant that gave the injection although very nice would have given the injection right in the middle of my buttocks where the nerve is, instead of the upper outer quadrant if I hadnt intervened.

I decided to give it another chance when I became ill again. I had a better experience with the Dr than the first visit. I was prescribed antibiotics. The prescription was electronically sent to my pharmacy. I received a text that my prescription was delayed due to an insurance issue. I called the pharmacy and was informed my insurance will not cover anything the Dr writes because he’s under review due to complaints. Came for a covid test two times. Once because I had just traveled here to escape being in the epicenter, and another because I had to be a temporary caretaker of an immunocompromised, elderly family member. The process was so easy it almost seemed too easy. I made an appointment online, for the same day. I filled out my information through a link, received a text with a zoom link, a doctor (NP the second time) spoke to me for a few minutes “face to face”, and gave me a ton of useful information. A scheduler called me a few minutes after that, I went in the next day. They sent me a text before my appointment to let them know when I arrived outside. I parked, texted them which car I was in, the nurse came out, swabbed me (not very comfortable but by no means unbearable, it’s uncomfortable but not painful at all). The nurse was amazing and gave me a second between nostrils to stop the tingly sensation that the test causes. She left within 30 seconds of doing the test through the window. She told me results can take up to 4-5 days. I received my results the first time in 3 days. The second time I received my results in 19 hours. I literally committed 15 minutes between the call and the test which took under a minute of me being in the parking spot. They are honestly doing an amazing job keeping our community safe and aware.

I scheduled an appointment last week online for my dad. He is in Cali and I am in Texas. He had rotator cup surgery last year and his shoulder has been really hurting and not moving. I love this urgent care! They are always so friendly and helpful. My two year old had a ear infection and gave her ear drops that CVS didn’t have. I called the front desk and they were able to speak to the Dr. and get a different prescription that Walgreens had. They called me to make sure I was able to get it too! Great service!

The CHOC physician we saw (Dr. Paulina Avendano) was incredible. She made my 6 year old and myself feel extremely comfortable while we were trying to figure out the complications of the flu. The nurses were amazing too. Overall, we recommend this urgent care for after hours pediatric care.

Service is friendly but I found the staff quite incompetent. First the Dr didn’t impressed me. I know that Sunday crew isn’t the best but they fell short to my already low expectations. But the straw that broke the camell’s back was the nurse that couldn’t locate my veins to draw blood. I might have hidden veins but other nurses are able to locate them after a quick look. Too bad because I like the location but definitely not coming back.

The female doctor working here is incredibly rude and abrasive. I brought my daughter in for a cold and she asked if I was suctioning her nose- I told her no because my kid freaks out and she told me I needed to Mom Up. Also took the liberty of telling my that the three potato chips my toddler was eating while sick werent going to help her. She was totally condescending when we came in looking for help, she should not be working with the public.

My son had some symptoms that our pediatrician said needed to get checked out within 24 hours, but their office was booked solid. I was able to get an appointment with another doctor for the next day, but in the meantime, it was after-hours and I was in a panic trying to figure out if my sons symptoms were getting worse and warranted a night time trip to the ER or local Urgent Care. For the CHOC Pediatric Urgent Care service, they did tell us that any symptomatic child could not be seen in person but could do a Zoom call, and if needed, prescriptions could be prepared through that. My kid had a fever, so he couldnt be seen in person, but I really like this policy because for any other issue that might come up after-hours, like stitches or bumps and bruises, Im much more comfortable knowing that I can go there and feel safe about my kids getting treated without exposure to other illnesses. I signed up for a zoom consultation with a CHOC Pediatrician through Marques website and within 20 minutes I was on a video call with an actual doctor who could look at my sons rash, see his demeanor and seriously calm me down and talk me out of the mental spiral I was in. It was so helpful and I was able to relax and actually get some sleep that night. Dr. Keni took her time with us, was comforting and was not at all condescending about my anxiety (I cant say the same for the doctor we ended up seeing in person the next day that was not a CHOC or Marque doctor. I wish we could have just gone to see Dr. Keni instead!) Will absolutely use this feature in the future, pandemic or not. It was even easier than getting a hold of our actual pediatrician for basic information and I am so glad it exists!

I tried coming here a couple of weeks ago due to my tonsils being in severe pain for weeks prior, but got too unbearable that day. I went there at around 6 PM since they were pretty much the only urgent care in town that took my insurance. I was turned away because that day, they would not see anybody over the age of 20 past 2 PM (very bad business model) and would not take me in due to it possibly being COVID-19, all even with an outdoor COVID-19 testing center! It seems that the only other urgent care nearby in town is with Kaiser Permanente, which is what I am considering joining. So if you are an adult over 20, a resident of Mission Viejo, and not with Kaiser Permanente, consider joining like I am so you dont take the chance of being turned away like I was.

I was able to bring her in and after a few minutes of completing patient information, she was quickly seen by the medical assistant and then by the doctor. My child has an endocrine condition and a cold. I had a few concerns and wanted a medical opinion. Not only was the doctor wonderful and understanding of my concerns, she is a Pediatric Endocrinologist. She knew all about my childs condition. I felt like I hit the jackpot! I recently went to the Marque Urgent Care in Mission Viejo near Trader Joe’s. I was slightly nervous about having a Covid test done but wanted to be sure I was Covid-free, as my daughter is pregnant and will be visiting next week. I was greeted by Kyle, who put me at ease immediately. He was thorough in his explanation of the varying tests and was sensitive and kind, while administering the test. It was quick and efficient and I was grateful Kyle was the person who assisted me. He made the whole experience feel a little less scary, during these very scary times.

There is a doctor here that should really be avoided at all cost. Her bedside manner is one of the worst we have ever experienced and she also misinformed us on every level regarding pediatric care. Not only was she unable to help with any symptom diagnosis other than to say well it could be anything,. medicine is an art, not a science. Sorry but what, medicine is SCIENCE literally. She also reported a false positive COVID test and not only sent the family into the abyss, but refused to acknowledge any of the other symptoms of the child or see the child for a second time.We immediately went to another clinic due to lack of COVID symptoms and tested negative, the entire family. Absolutely the worst urgent care to visit. First visit there was no COVID test taken but dr told us there was and said the results were missed. How can you just blatantly lie to a patients face and call yourself a medical doctor? Such a shame because the rest of the staff seemed nice. DR JYOTSNA KENY is a fraud and should be reviewed by the medical board.

Horrible experience. Start to finish. Front office NOT friendly at all. Seemed inconvenient for us to be there. Nurse was nice and doctor was pleasant. Was sent to RSM office for an xray for my daughter and it was awful...waited forever and there was hardly anyone in the office. The F bomb was dropped by staff several times while we waited in a room and my daughter is only 9...didnt need to hear that. Images were lost since tech had only been doing this one other time. Finally left and doctor called at 9:45 to give me results. Tried to get copy to bring to orthopedist but xray tech was out!!!

Minimally meets needs. The workers are low paid non-trained. The physicians do not care, do not communicate and just write prescriptions for antibiotics because they think that’s what everyone wants - but is that what I need??? No clue. After 8 days no test results, so I called. Waited 30 minutes for someone to tell me a physician would call me back by the end of the day - called back by a non-medical professional who read a note but couldn’t answer my question. This place is poor quality medical care!

In a time where it is hard to find good things to say about healthcare in general I believe Marque has found a niche in the industry. I was treated quickly, professionally and happily. The clinic even had the medications I was prescribed to save me an unnecessary trip to a pharmacy especially when I wasnt feeling well. I work in the healthcare industry and wish my organization ( one of the largest in Orange County )would have wellness centers like this that operate as smoothly and give such high quality of care. I only hope Marque Directors can continue to provide the same services in an uncertain future for healthcare providers.

I took my son here today because he’s had a bad cough for the past three weeks. Doctor walked in, literally just looked at his ears and listened to his lungs, says it’s viral, says we can do a strep test and walks out. She never returned after, and the medical assistant just came back said it was negative and handed me discharge paperwork. Not a word about what to do about the cough or the possible cause of a cough lasting for so long. I had to ask about what I can do and she came back after asking the doctor and said she said maybe you can try this delsym. There are many different kinds of delsym and my son, who is four, cannot have many of them. I asked her which active infeedients he can have and she said she didn’t know. I’ve been to this location a couple of times and have never been so disappointed in the visit as I was today. What a waste of money coming to this location.
