The team at Marlow Mercedes did an excellent job at a reasonable rate both times we’ve taken our 2011 BMW 320i to them for service. And they went above and beyond to resolve a water leak that would have become a huge issue. Nathan was especially helpful, and communicative. We can’t recommend them more highly.

Very pleased with the service I have received at Marlow Mercedes-Werks. I took in the 2005 Mini Cooper S that recently purchased. They did a great job reviewing what should be fixed in order of priority and made sure I understood potential costs and timing. No surprises! Marlow Mercedes-Werks offers an alternative to the Monterey Mercedes Benz dealership for auto maintenance and repairs. The staff is knowledgeable and pleasant to work with. Last year, they completed $8,000 in repairs to my E400 wagon that was damaged by rodents which involved replacing the engine harness. We have our vehicles regularly serviced by Marlows.

Each time I have had occasion to take my new Interstate to Marlow Mercedes-Werks, everyone has been gracious, knowledgeable and follows through. I am always pleased, feel lucky to have found out about Marlow. Monterey Mercedes wont even look at a Mercedes Sprinter, so they also save a two+ hour drive to the nearest dealer. Highly recommend.

Ive had my share of bad experiences with auto shops so Im always nervous when I bring a car in. If you own a Mercedes, bring it here! These guys are excellent. Very good customer service, and very quick turnaround. I really appreciate the effort they put in to finding the best price for replacement parts and how they stay in touch through the whole process. Im a new Mercedes owner. I wanted a B service performed and the car looked over. I got an extremely thorough and detailed report on everything necessary now, and to be addressed at a later date. Car unexpectedly needed tires and Roy and Nathan did everything they could to make sure that I got the car back before the weekend. This shop is top quality. When I saw a beautiful 6.9 come up on their google search, I figured they would know and care about the marque. I was driving down the 101 when my front wheel bearings started to give. I called Marlow and Roy and the team could not have exceeded my expectations more. Roy was very communicative. I have, for the longest time, had difficulties finding a capable and competent auto repair shop that can handle Mercedes Benz and especially one over twenty years old. Not going to lie, owning a MBZ is not cheap when it needs maintenance but knowing Im getting a deal compared to dealership prices, makes me feel a little more comfortable. I will continue to be a customer of Marlow Mercedes for as long as I own my MBZ.2023- still feel the same as I did 5 years ago when I started going to Marlow. What an incredible alternative to the dealership. Owning a Mercedes usually means you are stuck going to the dealership for service which is always overpriced and tends to lack customer service. This was my first visit and wont be the last. I scheduled a D Service appointment along with a battery replacement very easily online and got a quick confirmation. The customer service was awesome. I was stuck without a car and they personally drove me home and came and picked me up when the car was ready. Thats amazing service! Upon completion of the service, they explained everything they covered. I have had the car for 5 years and never got a real explanation as to what each service letter meant. I just took it in when needed. They pointed out 2 other issues that needed to be addressed and explained the process and reasoning clearly allowing me to make a decision as to when I want to take care of them. I feel a lot more educated about my car now and would highly recommend them. While in there, I saw other customers who the service team seemed to know by name. All around it is a true family operated business in which the customers seem to become family as well. Definitely try Marlow Mercedes-Werks instead of the dealership. They are certified and also give you a great warranty.

I switched from my local dealership to Marlow Mercedes-Werks in 2015 and couldnt be happier. Everyone I interact with, from Cary Smith to the mechanic to the owner and even the shuttle driver are professional, friendly, honest, and knowledgeable. My 2001 E320 has 255,000+ miles on it and continues to be my daily driver, running smoothly and problem-free. Theyre proactive in communicating status and efficient in getting the work done. After two bad experiences with the local dealer, we found Marlow. Theyve serviced our Mercedes 10 or 12 times over the last several years and always been wonderful across the board - knowledgeable service, easy to deal with, accommodating to our needs, and fair on price. This outfit is highly professional and provides prompt, courteous, and meticulous service .I would not hesitate to recommend Marlow Mercedes to anyone who drives a Benz whether new or older like mine. Kerry and the entire team treats me like family, My husband was hospitalize so I had my son drop off my vehicle for servicing, on the day my vehicle was done (Friday) my son got sick and was at the same hospital my husband was in. Neither of us could retrieve the vehicle. I called Marlow Mercedes to explain the situation, they said .what can we do to help? They drop off my vehicle without asking me for payment. On Monday i called them with my credit card information, My vehicle was washed and cleaned.Marlow knows how to take care of customers regardless of race or skin color everyone get the treatment of a life-time. Our current GLE is under factory warranty and weve always used Monterey MBZ for servicing current and past vehicles. Weve been dissatisfied with their advisors, service and cost. And its gotten worse. Several friends recommended Marlows so we made an appt for a periodic service. Nathan greeted us, discussed price conscious options and cost, provided a work estimate and completion time. A couple of hours earlier than promised, he called that the vehicle was ready, reviewed what was done and the condition of various systems. When we picked up the vehicle, Nathan provided an invoice as quoted, again reviewed services provided and even provided a new customer goody bag! We then received a follow-up email that again outlined the completed work with detailed areas of concern complete with photos that included debris in the air intake and an invitation to notify them with any concerns or questions. Marlows and Nathan is a welcomed departure from the incompetence and unethical practices that have become the norm. Their glowing recommendations are well deserved. Well surely return in the future and share our experience with friends and colleagues.

Ive taken my 08 Dodge Sprinter to Marlow and number of times and will continue to bring it here for any and all service. They are extremely thorough, professional, and friendly. While Im sure it isnt the cheapest mechanic I could go to, bringing my van here gives me peace of mind that its in good hands, and if theres an issue going on, theyll catch it.

Nathan was great guy to talk to about a service being done but... He quoted me around 7k for the service. When we went in to start the repairs it went up to 9.5k instantly without notice. We had already agreed that the other service was not necessary. And they tried to sneak it in just because my uncle did not speak english. They probably do a good job but this experience could of been handled different. Wouldnt reccomend their service.

We have owned many Mercedes cars over the years and have always had them serviced at a dealership. We are so grateful to have found Marlow Mercedes-Werks. We currently own two Mercedes Benz vehicles and will bringing them to Marlow Mercedes for all of our service needs. Cary is a fantastic service advisor. The technicians that work in the shop are all professional and know the ins and outs of any Mercedes. The waiting area is super clean and comfortable. We took our SL to them for service as it had an oil leak. We also asked them to give the car a good look over because we had recently purchased it used and did not know much about it other than we had it serviced at a Mercedes Dealership in Southern California before it was shipped up here. We gave them the service bill from that dealership which listed all of the work that was done on it in. We did this so that Marlow could see a detailed list of the items we thought had been taken care of including an oil change. Being that the car had only been driven less than 200 miles we wanted to know not only why it was leaking oil, but had the dealership in Southern California really done the work they charged us over 2k for. Cary took the car in and within hours sent us an opinion report complete with photos of everything they discovered. The opinion report given to us listed items that needed tending to and items that would need tending to in the near future. He informed us that the dealership in Southern California should have done a transmission service on the car as it was due for one while it was down there. We really appreciated the thoughtful job they did of finding and then fixing the items that we wanted them to tend to. One of the parts needed was a really pricy item, Cary suggested a rebuilt part with a lifetime warranty so we went that route. They took such good care of us. We really felt we got a great deal on the work that needed to be done. Cary even changed the batterys in both of the keys for us at no charge. If you are looking for an honest shop of professionals that know everything you could possibly want them to know about how to work on a Mercedes, this is the place you want to go.

Marlow Mercedes Werks is hands down the best shop for Mercedes and Crossfires in California. They were the only shop of many in Monterey I took my Crossfire to get fixed at and they fixed it when no one else knew what to do. Ive been taking all my Mercedes cars to Charlie since he opened. Before that, he and his mechanics worked on my cars when they all worked at the local dealer. I wouldnt go anywhere else (but Charlies).I dont know why Im having to add to an old review to comment on my most recent service (completed Feb 2021), but no matter ...Id had a problem for years with my 95 E320 Cabriolet, that the ASR dashboard lamp would come on exactly 3 minutes after the car was started. The problem was a nuisance, but had not otherwise interfered with my enjoyment of the car, so I just lived with it. I had spent a lot of time online searching for suggestions as to what might be the source of the problem, with no success. A number of owners who reported having the same problem reported that they were advised to simply disconnected the dashboard light. Imagine that! No way for me.I finally decided to take care of the issue. Finding the source of the problem was very tedious, requiring the great skill of Charlie and his most experienced mechanics. It was a very obscure problem, finally traced to a faulty ABS hydraulic preload pump -- a very rare and expensive part, bought new. Charlie was very generous/patient in working with me as I sent the pump off to Germany to be exchanged for a refurbished pump, which wound up taking a number of months. It was a great day of celebration when the rebuilt pump arrived, was installed, and my ASR lamp problem was finally fixed. I cant describe what a relief that was.As I have said before, I wouldnt take my (4 MBZ) cars anywhere else but Charlies.
