Been wanting to visit this place an finally did, since with weekdays at times busy i found out if get there around after 9pm its just take out orders since they close at 10pm ( Fri-Sat) i went on a fri. But when I did visit the place it was a friendly atmosphere an love so much to chose from their menu from pizza to burgers an appetizers too. You can watch the sports on the screens an a full bar! Yes they have it there. Great for the entire family to go with a small arcade to play. I ordered pizza the way I like it an was good. Come an visit the place an lets hear your stories.

Love this local pizza spot! Pizza is good not too thick with a perfect crisp. The wings are really good. During peak hours it can be hard to get a table especially if there is a party going on. The people at the front register werent very helpful our first time, but they seemed younger. The bartender is amazing and friendly. Kids enjoy the arcade games.

Great food.. Friendly community atmosphere You have to try the potato skins! Customer service was great, and the staff was friendly. Plenty of games/ qtr machines to keep kids entertained and beer was nice and cold. Definitely will be returning !

My stepfather absolutely loved the lasagna that he was served, and hes not easy to please when it comes to food. My small combination pizza (too much for me to completely devour at the restaurant) was one of the most delicious and flavorful pizzas Ive ever eaten. Theres a very good selection of beers on tap, too.Mark & Monicas allows sit down dining!!!

As a Fair Oaks born resident I pretty much grew up with Mark & Monicas Pizza. It is located on Manzanita Blvd across from Crestview Shopping Centet ( who remembers Baskin Robbins, Luckys Grocery, the Cake & candy shop, Crestview Cinema where admission was only a dollar, the Chinese Buffett, gameroom & more)? LOL..I guess you can pretty much say that I am a professional when it comes to the value of the Restaurants recommendations! First step..walk in & smell the mouth watering aroma & view the great inside..Large Screen TV, arcade, full bar, party & event rooms, seating, ect...secondly meet the awesome employees as they greet yo with a smile always ready & prepared to offer & recommend items. Thirdly..gawk at the awesome huge menu & attempt to all agree what to order..pizza...sandwiches..pasta...chicken wings, jalapeno poppers, potato skins, breadsticks, salad or salad bar..then comes the drinks!!?.. Water, sodas, beers, wine, spirits (if its NOT on the menu just ask & describe what you like & want..they will try & most likely succeed & above to make it your way). Then choose a place to eat. And enjoy. If kids get rowdy (they usually do) there is a arcade with various fun games & things to preoccupy them for a while. And there is a large screen tv to watch. And while the kids are at play enjoy a drink or 2 from the bar..dont you deserve it? ( drink wisely & always designate a driver). So my reccomendation? Try everything. I order a thick crust pizza half signature sauce half garlic white sauce or maybe pesto or maybe greek? Then all the toppings..cheese, pepperoni, sausage, canadian bacon, onions, tomatoes, bell peppers, mushrooms, olives, spinach, artichoke, & dont forget the pineapple & even more Extra extra cheese ( 1 can never have enough cheese & no I am NOT a mouse! Served with hot melted butter & ranch dressing for dipping! A huge gigantic yum!! I know youll quickly become a regular. And dont forget dessert!! Better than moms apple pie..a pizza topped with cinnamon apple strudel drizzled with powdered sugar..oozing with sticky deliciousness!! 😋🍕🍺🍲🍗 i guarantee youll love it!! Phenomenal Pizza!! Crust is crisp, sauce is official with a nice sweetnesses from real tomatoes, toppings are on the money cooked to perfection! I suggest if you want to get the true essence of their pizza Grab a booth and eat it in house. You won’t be disappointed. It’s worth the price.

Weve been eating pizza here since the mid-1980s, and its still a favorite. Staff is always friendly and helpful, salad is fresh, and pizza is amazing (love Christy Special!) Its just a great neighborhood establishment to enjoy your food and chat with friends in small or even larger groups.

Best pizza in Sacramento. We ordered a large combination pizza and it was so delicious 😋 they put a lot of toppings on their pizzas and use fresh quality ingredients. They have very fast and friendly service. The restaurant is clean and decorated with sports themed items. There is a bar that serves beer and wine and there are three big screen TVs. This is our favorite pizza place!

I found this place to have a very good pizza, lots of toppings and cooked to perfection. I especially like the flavor of their Italian sausage. The people running the place were pleasant and friendly and the customers dining there seemed pleasant and friendly too. Ill go here again. The beer was also nice and cold and one of the few places that when you order a pitcher of beer you get a full glass too.

They have done a good job with delivery although they forgot to include Parmesan cheese with my last order even after I told the girl twice, but that may have just been ubereats. They honor my coupon deals so that is good. Their boneless breaded chicken product is no better than a freezer quality brand from the grocery store.They are sort of shady with their calculations of totals. I get the same thing all the time and lately (maybe it is a new employee?) they give me a different total each time I ask. I then have to tell the girl the total of my order as it was countless times before and then she drops it to the right price. Wth?!! Shady.However their pizza is delicious.

This really is the best pizza in town. When I order my pizza with ground beef (which isnt always an option, a lot of places only have pork sausage) the beef pieces are so big you actually know what youre eating! The sauce has a great flavor. Doesnt disappoint. Please give this local Family restaurant a try. Im sure you will leave the table satisfied!

This place is a super chill Family Pizza parlor. Old pinball machine, couple of video games for the kids, a bar for the adults. Really good pizza but no one really waits on you other than to bring you the pie. After that they completely leave you alone and dont check on you unless you come looking for them. Some people may like that but thats why I gave them a 3.

The place was hopping! It was my first time there. I’m not usually a pizza person, but the food here reminds me of where I used to work in high school. It’s quality and tasty food. I have ordered take-out pizza from here four times (I live 60 miles away, so frequent this place when in town for visits) . It has been excellent each time. On top of that, each time is just as good as the one before (trying to say they are consistent great, which is not the case everywhere). It can get a little loud at times, but I rated the atmosphere a 5 because each time Ive been there, Ive been greeted with a smile as I came through the door. Staff has been friendly and quick to help each time. Definitely recommend. I will be back.

Best pizza in citrus heights, I go twice a month reminds me of Luigis in South Sacramento good old fashion pizza oh and cold 🍺 with good size mugs. My fault completely, never order a burger at a pizza joint. I know better! But they did offer it, the bun was ice cold and wet. That made the burger have no taste, unless it wasnt ever going to have taste. My sister and daughter ordered the salad bar, they were happy. My sister added chicken tenders, not happy, over cooked to the blackened state. My daughter ordered the cheese bread, good deal, and great taste. See, pizza joint, stick with the pizza. We were jammed up next to a birthday party and couldnt hear each other. Not the best for conversation. We wont be going back but, we might try a pizza to go; they looked good.

Lots of places closed on Monday so we decided to try something new. Kids wanted pizza so we ended up here. Decor looks original from 1986 (by someone who could not say “no” to Brown, and then more brown and some more on top of that). So you get a very 80s local dive vibe.Pizza was fine not fantastic but fine. It was served hot (and a bit overcooked) and while not deep dish it wasn’t thin crust. I am not one to eat at salad bars but even if I was I certainly would not have have touched this one. It was a disaster zone. Something you see at a truck stop after zombies have ransacked the place.What really was the icing on the cake was on the way out an employee in the kitchen sneezing into a tissue throwing it out and getting back to work. With no gloves, forget about hand washing. Hopefully no one ends up with food poisoning.

First time here. The food was really good. We ordered the combination pizza with extra tomatoes and no bell peppers. Pizza crust was great, not too much dough but thick enough to not be cracker. Sauce was the perfect amount and had a bit of sweetness to it. I really enjoyed it. Also, coke was great. Perfect amount of syrup to soda water. Coke was spicy and delicious as it should be. We will definitely go back to enjoy their margaritas and beer. Happy eating.

One of the best Pizza places in Sacramento. Family run and Fresh solid ingredients make for an amazing pizza. Their sauce is uniquely robust with a nice little spice to it. The pizza is how you remember pizza from your childhood. Loaded with toppings like a T.V. commercial this place never disappoints. I recommend the Combo speciality pizza. A secret hidden gem on the menu is the cheese burger, if your not in the mood for a slice then dont miss this gem. A burger after Anthony Bourdains heart. Good was great. Service was great. Only issue I had was there were 3 other customers there that were trying to treat the place like a sports bar instead of a family restaurant. Screaming about everything that happened during the football game and talking extremely loud about everything even though when we went there was maybe 15 customers total and every one else was relatively quiet. I cannot fault mark and Monicas on how their customers behave. So 5 starts it is because everything in their control was handled perfectly.

Despite my order being identifical every time, my second pizza came with bacon and my potatoes had sauce on them. My daughter and I ordered mini pizzas and salads for lunch, after about a 45 min wait, the employee who took our order refunded us the entire amount of our lunch for the long wait. I love this family owned establishment. Every time I come I am given great customer service. They have 2 large party rooms that you can reserve for events and have been recently remodeled. When I go, I sit at the bar, in front of an 80 inch television, and they will usually put on the Sharks game for me.I forgot to mention the Pizza quality, its the best in town.

Ordered 2 pizzas and 3 salads for pick up. $80 is quite high but thought we’d give it a try. Arrived at pick up time 6:20 pm and had to wait in the long “order” line. Finally got to the register and we find that we make our own to-go salads at the salad bar. Why then we’re we asked to pick our salad toppings on the app.? The lettuce had brown edges and the topping bins were a mess, cucumbers in with the tomatoes, etc. Very disappointed also in the mediocre pizza we brought home. Not coming back.

Very good pizza. I was introduced to Mark & Monicas by a friend who lived in the area a few years ago. Now I live nowhere near this side of town but still will drive across Sacramento once a month or so just to pick up one of their pizzas. Mark and Monicas pizza is some of the best pizza I have ever had. Honestly. Why cant every pizza taste this good? We had 6 pizzas. Every one was made with excellence and craftsmanship. Cooked perfectly, not greasy, good cheese, great crust that supports the toppings but doesnt act like the star of the show. Very very good. Years ago I ordered a pizza. Large pepperoni with Italian sausage, feta cheese and black olives. It was so good that it changed my idea of what a great pizza should be. Still a great place! I live in Florida and visit Sac from time to time. Our first destination is here. The pizza was and is PHENOMENAL and uniquely delicious and well constructed. Great pizza! We got there just before the Friday rush. It quickly turned into the Friday night slam. It got loud, and we may have missed our name being called. When we went up to check on the order, the poor girl at the register was getting swamped with phone calls. It was relentless. She was struggling to find our order and the phones kept ringing. The poor thing was really stressed out. It was resolved fairly quickly. But, we felt terrible for the girl. I hope she recovered. My wife was convinced she was going to bail out the bathroom window.

The food is amazing and the beer is ice cold. Love when you buy a pitcher the give you a glass full as well- old school way! The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because its not very clean. It wasnt busy when I got there around 4pm. The bathrooms are unkept, the toilets had mold inside them.. like they havent been scrubbed in a while. The pictures above all the booth tables had kids fingerprints all over them, the salad bar had fixings all through the dressing. This is an easy fix though.. they just need to deep clean.

The cashier was rude. If you want white sauce instead of red sauce they count it as a topping. They charge an extra $1 to take your order to go but then still ask if you want to leave a tip. We saw other people arriving after us getting their pizzas and after waiting thirty minutes we finally went up to see what was going on. They had to look at our receipt to see what wed ordered because theyd apparently lost our order. This place is solid, real solid. Trick is, dine in!Ive eaten here twice: once in their private party room onsite and once carryout. Maybe the pickup estimate they gave me was off, but the carryout pizza was not really hot. Also enjoyed the pineapple and jalapeno with red sauce. Both of these on thin crust, both piping hot and made to perfection when I dined onsite and still remarkably good carryout even if not quite the same. I love that they have mini and small pizzas at a decent price, which allowed me to try some things I might otherwise have overlooked. For my carryout order, in addition to the above-mentioned pies, I tried the vegan cheese with red onion, and though it looked a little dry and non-melty, it actually was creamy and quite decent. Also tried to the Veggie Greek (minus olives) which was solid but maybe a little underwhelming due to the heat issue.Overall, this is some of the best pizza you will find in Sacramento, and I will definitely drop by next time Im in town!

This is a long time Carmichael favorite and a great place to watch Kings, 49er, or San Francisco Giants games. The pizza is excellent and the atmosphere is vibrant. They had a fire a couple years ago and had to rebuild part of it and they expanded into the next building at the same time. After a horrible experence at another 95608 joint..we found a remarkable REAL food lunch w/staff fully engaged with guest service + home made comfort dishes + real pepperoni pizza like old school..with flavor.add peppercorn ranch.salad bar clean n cold a debris free...I say this is a place I will return to regularly to enjoy company staff and excellent food!!!AND CHEAP...WHAT!! 100%YES..

I had to go to a meeting for work and only had 30 mins to get my food and leave.... the service was awesome. Kind staff food was done in enough time to get back to my job....I ordered a small pizza and a salad and jalapeno poppers to go .... BEST PIZZA I HAVE TASTED IN A LONG TIME....pizza was awesome and salad was yummy and my new favorite spot for jalapeno poppers ♡

First time here and we ordered a pizza to go...a couple minutes later I went back to the counter to order a salad to go...I was informed they had just closed the salad bar... she had only removed the lettuce... everything else was still there...this was at 10:05 and they close at eleven... The pizza better be damn good for us to ever consider coming back...strike one

We have not been to mark and Monica’s for a long time because we moved out of the area. We came back this evening and we remembered it as being as good as ever… Fernando took good care of us and we can’t wait to come back
