I have been Dr. Kimes patient for a little more than 6 months. Since then, my lower back pain has improved in a great manner. Just a couple days a go I saw a comparison between the first X Rays and the recent ones and I was so amazed for the difference I was able to see. I am glad I started seeing him. Coming to Dr Kimes’ clinic has been the best decision I have taken when it comes to my health. I had never been to a chiropractor before so I was scared to receive adjustments but I am really glad I found Dr Kimes. I was in a horrible car accident where my car was declared a total loss and I was experiencing painful back pain, neck pain, and shoulder pain after the accident. The pain was so excruciating that it would make me cry every single day and deprived me from sleep. Being a mother of three boys and having to take them to school, help them with homework, doing chores around the house, working, etc the pain was really getting in the way of me doing my activities of daily living. This office is awesome! Fun, friendly staff. I have been coming for many years. I am living proof of how life changing chiropractic care can be. I used to suffer from headaches and migraines. Dr. Kimes and his staff have been treating me for over twenty years. I have two damaged discs in my lower back that can, at a moments notice, bring me to my knees. At times even walking is painful. Regular weekly adjustments keep my back stable and I can live a normal life. When I have occasional periods of intense pain or back spasms Dr. Kimes allows me to visit as often as needed. I was evaluated by Mark Kimes D.C. on 4-1-20. My spouse had urged me to be evaluated to see if he could help me manage my periodic neck and lower back pain. She was going through her treatment and was amazed how effective it was in regards to her decreased back pain, resulting in a better nights sleep, and improvement in her ever clogged sinuses and improvement in her asthma condition.I admit, I was skeptical of chiropractic care due to my past employment background. I was employed as an auto claims rep for an insurance company for 23 years and coworker injury claims reps that I spoke to routinely in regards to the claims we were handling together advised me to be skeptical of chiropractic care. The injury adjusters were trained by the insurance company to be skeptical of chiropractic care since the insurance companies always wanted to lower the cost/control the costs of injury claims. For the past six years, Ive been employed as an auto estimator for a collision repair facility and have heard the repeated testimony from numerous customers that chiropractic care is an effective and better alternative to pain killers that we all know can become highly addictive and probably cause long term damage to internal organs.Well, after 4-1-20, I went forward with the initial chiropractic treatment regimen for about a month (in short, I had to keep my wife happy). The result:I was completely astoundedAfter the initial treatment, I now have more neck range of motion and about a 70% reduction in lower back pain and neck pain. In the past, I had replaced my mattress religiously every few years but I now realize that a worn out mattress wasnt the culprit of my pain. The pain was from my misalignment (verebral subluxation complex) issue. After the treatment, I have a lot more energy. Ive been doing a lot more chores around the house. Today I went in for my adjustment and I could not find my health card. Two employees greeted my kindly and offered to give me a temp card. Ive been receiving chiropractic treatment from Dr. Mark Kimes, D.C., for about two months now. What a revelation into obtaining better health and pain relief. Ive suffered from chronic back pain, gastrointestinal issues, headaches, mobility issues, amongst other ailments. I sustained a career ending back injury in 2010 working in the public safety sector. Ive gone through two surgeries, countless numbers of other alternative treatments and use of various pain medications that included heavy duty narcotics and anti inflammatory meds. I stopped those meds cold turkey and recently began to treat my condition with Dr. Kimes, at the urging of my family. A true good nights sleep, and restroom problems gone... Ive only been going with Dr. Kimes for about two months and the results are showing. Never thought that minor adjustments to my back would drastically reduce my issues with going to the restroom (digestive problems and diverticulitis concerns) and... Ready for this... NO MORE SNORING! What? An adjustment to my spine completely eliminate my snoring? I didnt even mention this to the doc and his procedure cured it. My father, who is visiting for a week, the first thing he tells me after the first night was that he did not hear me snoring AT ALL. He was in shock as my snoring was loud and worrisome (He felt I had sleep apnea the way I annoyed and breathed as I slept). Imagine how shocked I was to hear this as well. I asked my son, who lives with me, and he was like yeah, dad, you havent been avoiding for about a week now... Maybe two weeks. You were breathing a little loud, but not snoring. Dr Kimes is by far the best chiropractor in Monterey County.Such an amazing physician, very much highly recommended.

2023-11-09 00:19:26Went there spent an hour, no adjustment done, was sent back home, with no treatment done!! I came here with the hopes that they would put me out of the pain. Instead they want to milk money by splitting the apt in 2 sessions. Not sure if they will still do the adjustment next time or just waste time on getting to make people to pronounce subluxation . After 40 minutes of talking and form filling the Doctor did not even adjust me. I have been to 4 separate Chiropractor centers, consistently in past, and have never come across anyone who doesnt do adjustment on day one. Rather they sent me back home in the same pain and misery that I was before. Cant believe I could ever come across such Chiropractor services. I am not sure why the doctor could not review the X-rays immediately and help me out, right away. Instead they said come back next time and they will review xays by then. FYI X-ray reading does not take a that long. . It is a matter of few mins. Hope I dont get charged for treatment on day one since none was done for me. Bad choice for me, that I went there.

She spent ~5k for a years “treatment” that would reduce her pain and comfort by claimed “70-80%” but this has not been the case. She still had many days where she is pain and cant do much. Just posting our personal experience so that people will not assume they are perfect and will get second opinions.

I am able to enjoy everyday life and have restful nights. Dr.kimes is very gentle and makes me feel very comfortable by answering my questions and giving me tips to maintain healthy. Since I started coming in for adjustments I have been so educated on what was happening to me. I was involved in a car accident, which was the main reason why I started coming, but I have seen an improvement in my day to day life! I sleep better, I haven’t had a headache, and my neck and back feel amazing after each visit!The staff and ambiance is amazing as well.
