I usually never write reviews, but I feel that I need to share this recent experience.Ive been a loyal customer of this dealership for years because of their reliable service, but my recent visit left me deeply disappointed.After losing my key, I had my vehicle towed to them to have a new one programmed. They claimed an $8k fix was necessary as they could not program any new keys and stated I needed to have the vehicle computer system replaced.I received a second opinion from a locksmith company that resolved the issue for a fraction of the cost and didnt require any unnecessary fix, as reported by the dealership.Nonetheless, I discovered two fresh dents on the right side doors after taking the vehicle. No one bothered to mention them and it should be noted these damages were absent prior to my visit, indicating they occurred while in their care.The dealerships dishonesty and failure to disclose the damage are deeply troubling. Despite leaving my vehicle with them for two weeks, not once did they mention the incident.Moving forward, I am pursuing legal recourse to have this matter handled. Its a shame to see such a reputable dealership fall short of its standards.

They helped me to get a new vehicle that was desperately needed and worked with my budget. They were able to make it happen! Brandon was who mainly helped me and he made me feel very comfortable and assured me that I would be taken care of! I would definitely recommend getting your next vehicle here!

Shady place that SCAMS clients by not honoring their own coupons + many people who are incompetent at their jobs and have attitude. Avoid at all costs. Here’s what happens to me.I took my car for an oil & filter change (no tire rotation, no multipoint inspection, no break pad check, just the oil and filter change) for which they quoted me $99.95 before tax. My service advisor was Billy. My appointment was at 7:00 AM (they open at 7:00 AM) on 7/19/2024 and I was the 3rd in line for service. I was asked to wait and had to wait for more than 3 hours for the service to be done. Around after 2 hours of waiting, I saw many people who came before me leaving, so I asked from the cashier to check on my car (sorry, I don’t know the cashier’s name, she was a short lady with red color hair). Their system was down that day and the cashier asked me to talk to the service advisor directly to check on the car. I had already talked to the service advisor once at that time to check on my car’s status for which he (Billy) told me it will take another 20-25 mins for the job to complete. Later, after another 15 mins or so Billy came and told me the oil filter was very tight and the service team had trouble removing it and that’s what it took so long and my car will be ready in another 20 mins. My previous oil change was done at a different Toyota dealership so I don’t know why it would take close to 2:30 hours to remove and oil filter. I finally got my car at 10:06AM and when I was about to pay for the service, I wanted to use a coupon I had printed from their website which could get me a $15 Starbucks gift card. When I showed it to the cashier (girl with red hair), she told me I should have shown it to my service advisor first when I checked in so that he could enter it to the system. Since I didn’t do that and since their system was down, she said they cannot offer the $15 gift card. I told the cashier that it doesn’t say anywhere in the coupon to show it to the service advisor and it’s common practice to provide coupons when we pay, for which she asked me again whether I showed it to the service advisors 🤷‍♂️When I checked in, I was offered a free car wash but since they took more than 3 hours and when I told Billy that I’m in a hurry to leave, Billy asked me whether I need the car wash when the car is ready and I had to turn it down as I had to leave to San Diego immediately after service was done. I will never take my car here and advise others to take their cars somewhere else. Their service is terrible and when check on the work, all they give you is attitude and nothing else. They try to run fake promotions and scam us using their own coupons by not providing what’s shown in those coupons. So I’d advise everyone to avoid this place at all costs.

I came here to buy a car with my brother and a friend. We ended up buying the car for me thinking it was a clean car like it was advertised to us but nobody ever mentioned that the car had “Lot Damage” and it was repainted very poorly from roof to the front bumper to the trunk, almost everywhere.When we came back they said they did not have to disclose anything about the car and acted like we are the ones who are at fault for getting the car. Super weak experience and they absolutely do not make it up to the Toyota standards, for treating customers like that and hiding important stuff. l will not let those guys scam us like that. And nobody should as well. Go to any other Toyota and you’ll be better off l promise.

I bought one toyota prius last time and with my experience. For real, I am not so happy with the two at the sealer department, but not Rudy he is so niceThe service department I recommend the best and fast service.I got some issues with my car and talked the manager Joy she so nice with one day that she fixed all the problems with free oil service. I Advise you if u got any problems. Please contact the manager directly.

I try my best to avoid coming here unless absolutely necessary, because its always a frustrating and terrible experience. The people here are unprofessional and waste your time - hello! We live in LA, after all! Every single time Ive been here has been a headache, except for the day I bought my car - how shocking! I wouldnt recommend this dealer to anyone.

Gene in service at Marina del Rey Toyota is the best there is! I have gone to Gene exclusively for every service on my cars for the last 35 years and would never consider going elsewhere. He is extremely knowledgeable, consistently patient and kind and always professional. The work is done when he promised and at a fair price, which he always discuses with me in advance. Thank you, Gene! If only there were more like you.

I was very upset with the way my brother and I was treated by the sales manager few months ago. I found the behavior of the staff members to be unprofessional and disrespectful. They were so rude, and the environment was stressful. One staff member seemed to be more interested in assisting us, after we decided to leave the store due to high price, he promised us to give a discount, a few seconds later he told us instead of a discount we have to buy a plan with a discount. What a lie! The whole dealership filled with dishonest environments.Please try to be polite to customers in future.

We had a wonderful experience at Toyota in Marina Del Rey with my daughter’s first car purchase. . Khaled A. Went above and beyond to obtain this beauty for my daughter. Words cannot explain the amazing service, time and not to mention all the effort from Khaled was a great success as I watched my daughter drive away with a big smile. I highly recommend this dealer and thank you Khaled for all your time.
