Christy was absolutely amazing! We keep our cars forever so buying is just a stressful process that I’m not accustomed to. From the start, she was very easy going and comfortable to talk to. She listened to our needs and budget earnestly. She kept regular contact with us for over a month and a half, updating us whenever new inventory or specials came around that met our criteria. We were patient and Christy worked her magic to pair us with a car that was both exciting to drive and big enough for our family.Marin Acura as a whole was great to deal with and we didn’t feel pressured or coerced into anything we didn’t need. They worked around our schedule and were very gracious and flexible. Even contact with the Dealer after we took delivery of the vehicle has been great, from accessory installation to basic troubleshooting, they have been very responsive and helpful. Just leased a car from Eli at Marin Acura. It was an absolutely excellent experience, as far as car leasing/buying goes. They have great inventory and they were patient and attentive, but not pushy. When it came time to get the deal done, Eli was able to give us numbers and there was no messing around -- we got our car as promised with a great discount, and he kindly arranged for it to be delivered. The delivery was handled by James, who was absolutely lovely. Overall, this is not only a great place to go and get an Acura, but it is far better than any car dealership we have ever worked with (including Toyota, Lexus, BMW, VW, Audi, and many more). I didn’t know I was going to buy a car until my Sales associate Edmond made it so easy for me. He wasn’t pushy, he was more like listening to my needs, in terms of monthly payments and what I wanted in a car and he totally made it happen! My friend brought me here and told me if Edmond is not there then we will have to come back another day.As soon as we came in Edmond was there and he greeted us, honestly it wasn’t hard for the car to be sold, this cars are amazing for price and all they have to offer. If ur shopping for a car, reliable and luxurious this is your car, also not bad in price! I went to Toyota before signing the lease and there was no way that any of their car for the prince range I was going for was going to top off what I got. I ended up getting the ILX premium package. Great monthly payments, beautiful car and great service. The purchasing process was easy, honest and professional. Recently I needed a new license plate frame and decided to ask if they could provide me with one that particularly says Marin Acura. Allison Melin, the Service Appointment Coordinator went above and beyond (with back and forth emails) and had it ready for my sister to pick it up that same day. Dishonest business practices.Don’t trust these guys when they say they’re only doing a soft pull on your credit report to get an idea of the kind of financing they can get you. They may say that - I asked/confirmed multiple times - but they’re actually performing a hard inquiry, knocking a few points off your credit score. I personally can’t work with someone who lies to me like that.

I’ve been dreading this moment for years, fully committed to driving my 24-year-old minivan into the ground. As luck would have it, 100 yards from Marin Acura, the beast started misbehaving on my way north, and I pulled over to notify those expecting me that I wouldn’t be making it after all. Rather than returning home right away, I thought “maybe it’s finally time” and pulled into the lot. Christy welcomed me with enthusiasm right away and a few hours later I returned home with a spanky low-mileage ‘22 Honda Civic. I live 3 hours North from Marin Acura and was researching Certified 2023 Acura MDXs on autotrader and found two in Sacramento and one in Marin. After contacting a salesperson at each of the dealerships and sending photos of my trade in, not only was Munir at Marin able to give me the highest for my trade in, they were also $1500 less than they exact MDX, white, A-spec with 7k miles. Although the drive to Marin was much further for me, I decided to drive to Marin. Boy did I make the best decision. Munir made sure the car was detailed, and also hooked me up with all-weather mats. I knew their price was the lowest and did not even need to try and haggle them down. The finance manager, JP was super friendly as well! They made me feel like family and took care of me. Weve been searching for a new family SUV for months now, and living in rural northern California makes it hard to find the right car or even try out different models. We drove from three and a half hours away because Marin Acura had an MDX that was priced right, and we were very lucky to be matched up with Shervin as our salesperson. He was much more knowledgable about his cars than any of the other dozen or so salespeople weve dealt with in the past. You can tell he knows the features inside and out, and he could keep track of the different trim levels and offerings better than any other salesperson weve seen. We let him know right off the bat we were on a time crunch to get back home, and needed to leave in an hour if we were going to get home in time to relieve the babysitter. I could tell he understood our situation and Shervin really hustled to get us out of there on time, and the whole team did it! They got the car detailed, did our financing and paperwork from start to finish in 60 minutes - definitely the easiest and fastest car buying experience weve ever had, and we knew we could trust Shervin - he had our best interests in mind always and there was never any doubt about that. Bought a certified used 2020 RDX here March/April 2023 from sales guy Edmond. Everything is fine. Take a trip to Tahoe July 2023-the brakes vibrated during mountain driving. I had put 2.5k miles on the car. I call Marin Acura-they say brakes are your problem. Having bought a certified used car, I expected brakes with at least 40%-50% life left. Edmond says, I dont know if you brake too hard or you took it to a race track, its been a few months, its your problem. Fair argument, but Im a suburban dad and drive conservatively. Take it to a mechanic-pads are good-front rotors are warped. even the rears have excessive wear. $475 to have front rotors replaced. You be the judge. Did owning the car for 2.5-3k miles and 5 months warp the rotors, or were they already warped? Lesson learned, even with certified used cars, take it to an independent mechanic to have it checked.To reply: If the dealership was serious about their offer to discuss the issue, they would actually give me a contact to speak to instead of a generic reply.

I recently bought my certified Acura TLX from Marin Acura to go with my MDX (which I have also been very impressed with), I couldn’t be more happy doing business with these guys. My sales associate Dan was very easy to communicate with and more importantly a straight shooter. He followed through on everything, as we initially discussed, which with many years of going to dealerships is rare. He was also very patient as I was having issues finding my spare key for my trade in, which was also a very smooth transaction. Not a good experience at all.Marin Acura advertised a 2007 Honda as a one owner trade in. It had low miles, and the salesperson assured me they had many finance options, so I made an appointment to view it. Right out of the gate: passenger visor kept falling down as it was tied up with a wire that didnt work. The key fob did not work (was told by salesperson the key works) and NO spare tire. Was still considering the car, was told by salesperson that was the bottom line price of the car...pretty much dissuading me from making an offer. Needing a car, I went forward with the process. The finance manager came up with a rate of above 12%. I told him my credit union offered a rate at 6.99% or less. He told me no one is going to offer a rate that low due to the age of the carin summation: they were arrogant and just wanted this car off their lot and in the process, insulted me. I would not recommend doing business with them unless your self respect is devoid.

I really like Patty (not sure if she is in charge of service). BE CAREFUL AT MARIN ACURA- I bought a 2018 Acura RDX AWD certified preowned vehicle. THEY DID AN INADEQUATE JOB WITH THE PRE-OWNED INSPECTION. What happened, A couple days after purchasing I noticed a dent and a rust spot on the drivers side door by the rearview mirror, I brought it back to Marin Acura, and Joe the sales manager had it fixed, not good that it was there but glad they fixed. A few weeks later I noticed that a piece of weather stripping as damaged on the front passenger side door and clearly it had occurred awhile before I purchased, this time Marin Acura said would not replace since they said it could have happened since I bought the car. This was not true, I went to another Acura dealer and the manager there confirmed that this molding was damaged for some time before the purchase. I sent another email to Joe and left a message, no call back. The molding is not a big cost item- $61? But the principle was that the inspection was inadequate and Marin Acura did not stand behind their product. Gratefully the vehicle is apparently mechanically sound, as a repeat purchaser of an Acura vehicle, I expected better.

The dealer will sell you a car AND a $4,000 bumper to bumper warranty that will have a major malfunction the very next day. The warranty company will then, not cover the issue. Marin Acrua will also not cover the issue leaving you feeling scammed for having to buy a $4000 warranty and spend roughly $3000 on maintenance costs that was not covered by the dealer or warranty company. Do not recommend.
