Youre coming to change the oil. You wait 2.5 hours for an oil change. You say that you have forgotten the alarm to be installed in your car and that you are coming with an alarm. Even you dont know and you are waiting for Him for 2 hours. In other words, it is an excellent service. Congratulations, I expect the service to continue like this. Thank you very much. I have a 2021 Sequoia that still under extended warranty. The trailer running stopped working on all three trailers. I call Maita Toyota service department to confirm my warranty. A customer service representative verified that my vehicle is still under warranty. I told her about my issue and she said I have to bring it in. When I brought the vehicle in, one of the service advisor also confirmed the warranty is still good, but it would cost $209 to do a diagnostic test on the trailer adapter attached the vehicle. In addition to diagnostic test fee, they will charge $300-500 for the light kits. The towing adapter kit came with the vehicle when I purchased it from Maita Toyota. When I spoke to the service manager about warranty coverage and he said they can’t confirm the coverage until I agree to pay for diagnostic test. He said that is the way they always do. I told him I never have to pay for diagnostic test fee for the last five new vehicles I purchased from Maita Toyota in 25 years. I asked to purchase the adapter kit/parts so I can do it myself and he said they don’t have one stock. He said the parts would cost over $350.00. I told him that their customer service is getting worse lately. He told me to go somewhere else if I don’t like it. They wasted my half day and got nothing done unless I agreed to pay for the dam diagnostic test fee which should be covered by the warranty. They scheduled my appointment @ 12:15pm and no one check me in until 1:30 pm. They told me their service advisors were at lunch during that time. If that was the case, why do they schedule people for that period?. I asked to speak the general manager, I was told that he was not in the store that day. I called and left a message, but he never returned my call. I left there and stopped by the trailer dealer where I bought my trailers to buy the parts. One of the young man there checked on my fuses box and found the fuse for the running light had blow out. He sold me a 30AMP fuse for less than $5 and put it in for without any charge. I got the running lights for my trailers back on. Shame on you, Maita Toyota, Mr. Service Manager (Val) for trying to scheme me. You are the worst manager I have seen in the past 25 years at Maita Toyota. I will never bring vehicles back to Maita Toyota again as long as you still there.

I paid 43,000 cash for my truck with Toyota care in SD and was told that I could take my truck to any Toyota in the country for my service — and it would include a car wash and clean insideMy 5,000 mile service was completed at a Toyota in Baja Mexico EXCELLENT service and the truck was detailed completely.HERE NOTHING they tell you the car wash has been broken for two years?!?! What a joke.They do not clean your vehicle inside or out. Period. Nothing.Spent two hours emptying my truck to make the cleaning process easier than ever for the staff and now I have to spend hours cleaning it myself and paying more money for a car wash. Will never come here againEdit: the one hour 10k mile service (no tire rotation as they are one week old) took 3 hours. Was given my invoice and told my truck would be pulled up and ready to go.Went to my truck. Locked and no keys. It then took 4 different employees and 12 minutes to get my keys. Three and a half hours for a simple oil change and checking of fluids. NEVER AGAIN.

I always get maintenance for my Camry done here. The service advisors are usually professional - no issues - but today Avery and Grady were terrific and deserve a shout out. SUPER friendly, informative, and overall just made it a good experience! Thanks guys.The wait times are about 2-2.5 hours for oil change/standard maintenance but not unheard of and everywhere is short staffed. So, get a ride if it’s an issue, for those complaining! They do a good job.

I made an appointment with Toyota Care. When I got there, I was told that some of my Toyota Care services expired, and the person writing me up said I had to skip several services to get to the one that was the quickest because they didnt have time to do anything else. I told them I was there for very specific reasons (per instructions I received on my last visit, all of which involved dirty filters). I was told they could not be changed on this visit. When I pushed the issue, they said they would change them but would charge me for them! All of my services are covered under Toyota Care, and I have a fairly new car. I asked to speak to a manager (Val), who confirmed that my services did not expire and that I could use them in the order they are supposed to be used. I received ridiculous information from the person writing me up, and I was treated very poorly by him. Val not only confirmed and honored my Toyota Care but gave me good information about car warranties, etc going forward. I have been going to Maita Toyota for many, many years with different vehicles, and this visit was surprising and disappointing. My thanks to Val for taking care of things. And for those of you with Toyota Care, be sure that they are following the service schedule for your vehicle.

I have been taking my car to Maita for my services and I am getting very frustrated their level of professionalism. I called today to talk to a manager or supervisor regard the service that was done in my car and the someone answer the phone by the name of Delaney and was very rude and disrespectful and wants to give me a lecture about the service that I paid for. She said that theres no manager or supervisor available and I will have to wait for a call from them whenever they are available.The advisor I worked with said that the fluids are all full, but when I got home I decided to check and found that the Whippers fluid is not full and I check the engine oil, it seems to be emptied. I will never take my car to Maita Sacramento again. The ladies are extremely rude, disrespectful, harsh, impatient and unprofessional. Maita Sacramento need to train their staff on how to answer the customers question and be respectful. I will never recommend anyone to this place. i wish I could give them a zero, They are TERRIBLE, AWFUL AND DISHONEST. I will never go there again.

My mother had an appointment at 10:15 am for a normal service (Oil Change, tire rotation, filter inspections, etc), which normally would take about 1-2 hours. It is currently 5:20pm and they are actively trying to upsell her tires, all the while she just wants her car back. I understand the possibly overwhelming amount of business the week before 4th of July weekend, but it is unacceptable that a normal scheduled appointment should take 7+ hours. Probably best to take your Toyota to a different dealer, or better yet a locally trusted mechanic.

Since they keep asking for a review, here is my honest review...I sadly cannot trust their service recommendations whatsoever.I took our Prius in for a service inspection and to look at a specific noise I had just noticed. After the inspection, they quoted me almost $10k in repairs, which was absolutely shocking.I paid the minimum inspection fee and then took the car to two other mechanics (in other cities) that came with strong reviews from people I trusted. They both quoted me 1/5 of what Toyota said Id owe, and said multiple problems that were previously flagged were non-existent. Despite having to travel much further, it was absolutely worth that effort.Upcharging people because you think you can get away with it is a terrible move and youre going to continue losing customers.

So, I cant give a full review as we didnt end up buying a car from them, but I wanted to say that I was very happy with their service, particularly Liam Harder.I was looking for a used car for my son, and on a budget. Liam did all that he could to help us find the perfect car. Hes pleasant, easy to talk to and NO pressure, which I REALLY liked.We ended up buying a car elsewhere only because another dealer happened to get a car in that fit our needs.I get the feeling that Maita respects their shoppers, and doesnt pressure them into something they might regret; after experiencing the sharks at Roseville Toyota, I cant stress enough how important that is to me. In the future, Id certainly be happy to do business with Maita Toyota, and Liam!

This is my advice to you, you know. So if you want to experience these problems, go Well, today I went to the Toyota branch with an appointment on the agenda. The service manager Val was extremely helpful and attentive and my service advisor Shenghai was also very helpful. That being said, in my last trip to replace tires Im not sure that the maintenance techs paid much attention to detail and as a result I have wasted multiple hours regarding the reset of my Tire Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS) sensor and made a number of calls trying to coordinate for its repair before finally receiving contact back from the dealership resulting in ANOTHER trip back which will ultimately require more time in the waiting room. I am grateful that the service manager assured me of a slot first thing in the morning on Monday (this ordeal began on Tuesday) but my frustrations lie in the fact that I, like many others, have many obligations that leave me with very few minutes of free time and I dont want to spent that time waffling in and out of the dealership. Again, I want to reiterate that the service center staff were kind and helpful, but my frustrations lie with the lack of attention to detail of the maintenance staff. Given the rising costs of services due to inflation and the deflated value of the dollar, when spending a lot of money I expect more as a consumer.

Just needed a headlight. Purchased a headlight with no problem. When I asked if they could replace it, I was told Id need to leave my vehicle for service. For a headlight... When I asked how long, they said they dont know. To call and make an appointment. For a head headlight. So I call and make the appointment and Im asked a bunch of questions about the vehicle in order to open a file. For...my...headlight..Im literally in the parking lot and have to come back tomorrow.

Every time weve gone into Maita Toyota we have received excellent customer service. Weve never felt as though were being upsold on anything - just the problem is fixed and were reminded of any upcoming maintenance. The actual facility is really bright and clean so its a comfortable place to wait if you choose to do so during your service. Theres free coffee but also a cafe counter with food and drinks, a play structure for kids (a giant pirate ship - my now teenagers still fondly remember playing on it), clean bathrooms, lots of places to sit, and lots of places to charge devices and work. We will continue to bring our car here for services in the future.

I have been looking for the right RX for sometime....when I saw the one at Maita, I was cordially contacted by Uriel. We exchanged some emails and few weeks later, we drove up to Sacramento to see it. Uriel was even NICER in person. He was so approachable and friendly and knowing how long it takes to buy a car....believe me it is tiring, its nice to have someone like Uriel helping you. Through it all from the emails to out the door, Uriel was very attentive and courteous. We have nothing but gratitude for his help. When I had been there 2.5 hours and had been checking the website that I got a text to go to track my car and the progress hadn’t moved I went to check. Only to find out my car had been done and no one called, texted, or said a thing. Frustrating. They do have a cool toddler area to wait.

Took the Avalon in for its six month service. It was by appointment and they were ready. Staff attentive. Though there wasnt shuttle service home while the service was being done they offered 10 dollars credit on a Uber ride. I opted to stay and wait. I spent time looking around the new and used cars and by the time I was finished browsing the lot, the service was complete. While in the lot I was even approached by a friendly salesman and asked if I needed assistance, which I didnt. Spacious waiting room with plenty of magazines, a TV, and beverages available.

They now want to charge an hour labor to answer any questions about car issues. Didn’t used to be this way. Also, I showed up to make an oil change appointment in person. They can’t do it. I made a return to this dealership after my family purchased 2 Toyota’s in the past. I had every intention of purchasing a used 4 Runner and trading my vehicle in. The original salesman Uriel was very kind and helpful, my issue is not with him. I ended up speaking with Ira Carter regarding the numbers and working out a deal, after attempting to negotiate and see if I could get more on my trade in Ira came back with what he claimed was the “best” deal, all the while the interaction with him felt very aggressive and forceful. After we went over numbers I told him I would think about it and he responded “what is there to think about, it’s not that much of a difference anyway, I would rather pay this for a car I want than a car I don’t”. I told him the monthly was a bit higher than I would have liked and he responded with “what do I have to do to get you to leave with this car”, I felt very much that this conversation was aggressive and pushy. It was uncomfortable and felt as if I was being pressured to make a choice in that moment. I again reiterated that I would think about it, he responded with “well don’t think about it too much because it might not be here”. I’m not sure if this is new method of selling cars, however it was not a pleasant experience. Due to this interaction it deterred me from even wanting to purchase a car from here again. For anyone looking to buy here, I can’t speak on the other salesmen or managers however I would steer clear of Ira for any purchases. I ended up getting the same car one year newer at Folsom Buick GMC for a better price.

These dealer markups are out of control. Its not supply and demand, its price gouging and scalping at its finest. Dealerships like this make the purchasing experience a nightmare, and this country would be better off with cars being sold direct from manufacturers. Really had hoped to purchase a Highlander and land cruiser, but definitely not paying over MSRP, what a joke.Fortunately there are dealers in the area that dont price gouge.

Most of the time it was great but the last time I was in to get 4 sets of tires. After done it drove off to work thinking everything is ok but the tires psi is all over the place, 38, 39, 43, and 41. Ive been a service customer at Maita Toyota since 2007, but will stop going there after my last two experiences at the delearship service department.The first episode occurred about 4 months ago when I realized that the skid plate on my late model LC 200 was about to fall off 1 month after it was serviced at Maita. Three bolts were missing from the skid plate. I took it back to the dealer, and after it was supposedly fixed, I realized that while the lined up the skid plate and tightened the bolts that were present, three bolts were still missing. So I complained to the manager and it was taken back again and fixed with the appropriate number of bolts.If the skid plate some off during driving it could potentially a big deal. The only feed back I got was that maybe the technologist was sloppy.My second episode happed in relationship to my pick up yesterday. My cars have toyota service plans prepaid. But the service advisor told me the recommended service only partially covered, and that he recommended service that would cost an extra 170 bucks. I agreed, by mistake, since the service manual was in the car, but only asking the advisor multiple times if that is correct. After checking the owners manual after picking up the car, it was clear than nothing the service advisor recommended, including another oil change, was recommended for my truck at that time. It was just an upsell of unnecessary services disguised as a service recommendation. What did the service advisor say in response: I didnt say you had to do it.How is that for a trustworthy service advisor?After yesterday, I would not recommend Maita Toyota to anyone, and have cancelled my upcoming appointment. I will try Folsom Lake in the future.

Extremely disappointed, paid over $100 for oil and filter change and I was promised a multi point inspection. During pickup no one informed me of any issues that need to be fixed, so I assumed everything is good. Once I got home and looked at the paperwork - it listed that there is no coolant in the car, cabin air filter should be replaced, battery should be replaced, and air intake filter should be replaced. This dealer could have easily made another $300-$400 from me that day, but their laziness left me disappointed, and I will be taking my car elsewhere.

I have done oil change most of the time at this location but recently I noticed that they did not change oil and oil filter while they had my car for 2 hours and call me that your car is finished and all the service done.when i check my car i found that the same oil filter from the last oil change is in the car.Please don’t trust them check your vehicle after the service done by them.I don’t say everybody will be there not trustable but it happened to me and also they broke the oil filter house which I fixed it somewhere else with extra cost..Don’t make me fool again I called you and you didn’t answer the phone..

Ive been coming here for years and seems that the service is and honesty is deteriorating by day here.Last year we brought an suv for repairs and they quoted 17k for a new engine when we took it to another dealer first they threw a fit then we were told by 2 other dealers we didnt need an engine. On top of that I found out they over charged the hourly rate and the parts (which I found out from the other dealers) they gave me the information from BAR that mechanics are supposed to use especiallyreputable dealers. I tried talking to one of their managers who punted the issue to guy name Val and I never could get a hold of him (great system)I went on 3/16/24 for an oil change and one is their service people stole an item from my car, unfortunately ! only have a front facing dashcam so l dont have a proof.They can have the $26 package that was supposed to be returned anyway, its not about the $26 in this case and in the over charge from 2023, clearly it wasnt about the money for me or I wouldve posted this and called whoever else along time ago its the principle.We take our cars to these people and trust they do the right thing but clearly under Val and whatever ownership they have honesty and integrity means nothing. For reference lve bought 3 cars from them over time but as of late lve been going every where except to this dealer.The only reason I ended up here for oil change was because my preferred dealer Elk Grove Toyota didnt have any openings for oil change and I needed to get it done.

I called to get information on any services done to the car previous to owning it so I could move forward with my own preferred shop an have details of any services done before hand and the minute they saw that the title was ow salvaged the service desk/women I spoke with changed her tune completely. I wasnt asking the dealership to fix anything as the car had already been rebuilt (rear bumper damage) but was asking about a software update an if I had to get it from them with a USB or I could get it from a independent shop or possibly download myself to either download at my proffered shop or myself . She just kept interrupting me an telling me they wont touch the car any time I tried to explain my question, even after I stated I did not want them to touch the car. Youd think that even if the car acquired a salvaged title they would be more helpful in regards to parts an software purchases or even service records inquiries. The car is still manufactured by Toyota, if any damage acquired by accident or theft doesnt effect the problem area an was a safety concern they should replace it . IMO. Im not a karen by any means an rarely ever write reviews but I was throughly shocked by the treatment from this dealership. It may be one of many or one of few who treat people like this here but regardless disappointing an hopefully no one else gets this treatment an Im a fluke case.

This was the 2nd dealership that we were visiting in hopes of finding my wifes new car. Let me tell you, they are the complete opposite of what Roseville Toyota was to us.. The guy Evan from Roseville was the one who showed us the 2021 model and he and his managers did absolutely everything they could to get us to leave with that car because it had just arrived the day prior. The car out the door was coming out to 60k.. 10k mark up PLUS all of the other stuff that Evan had thrown on top of the car at more of a MUST GET than optional accessories which I thought was ridiculous.. I didnt want to purchase the car right then and there but rather was there to see it in person for my wife who was at work. He and his managers offered to even let us drive the car to my wifes work so she could come out and take a look at it to decide if we wanted to buy it. Talk about pushy... But I digress, the experience with them was absolutely HORRENDOUS...We dealt with 1 singular sales person from start to finish and he was absolutely wonderful to work with. Soney Vasquez. He helped us order our new car fresh from the factory, told us it would only take 3-4 weeks and completely blew away our expectations because the car was scheduled to arrive 2/20/22 but it arrived 2/12 and was able to come on 2/14 to surprise my wife that it had arrived and it was everything we could have hoped for. Our trip to LA was going to be on 2/16 so the new car came right on time and Soney was so communicative the entire time, anytime I had a question or concern, he was quick to get back to me, even now after having the car for almost a month, he still makes sure that were completely satisfied to the best of his ability every time we go to the dealership (we had our black out emblems put on and Soney took care of that for us). We couldnt have been happier.

They provided me with a rental of a new Rav 4, which I wanted to test drive for a potential future buy consideration. In my opinion appointment times are meaningless. I had a mid-morning appointment for an oil change and tire rotation. It took over 3 hours. If your assigned service advisor leaves for lunch no one takes over for them, you just have to wait for their return before getting any info on the status of your vehicle. Waiting for your vehicle requires a lot of available time to just wait. Waiting area is comfortable.

Went to the parts department to see if they had a part we are interested in for our 2023 Tacoma. Everyone we dealt with was completely uninterested in helping us and were cold and unfriendly. We were told the part is only sold in states other than California…even though we showed them one for sale in Los Angeles. We left and called Toyota of Davis who was able to order it for us immediately. Regardless of being able to order the part or not, the people we dealt with at the parts department were just so rude and unfriendly that I will never return to this Toyota dealership.

Bought a new Rav4 in 2018 from this dealer to replace our Highlander. Bought the extended warranty and had serviced by Maita every 6-months. So today I notice an oil leak and find their tech never installed the o-rings on the filter housing and over torqued the housing damaging it. Call Service and no return call at all, the receptionist said I cant bring it in for repairs (they caused) because no appointment, So off to Roseville Toyota to buy a $72 housing, then another $40 for oil and filter. I no longer will trust their service department, will never buy another vehicle from them either. Will sell this Rav4 and buy a competitors vehicle. Live and learn, you might as well go to Jiffy lube then trust the techs here to do the job correctly..I had planned on a new Tacoma for myself, after this experience I bought a new Ford ranger on 6/12..If you cant count on the dealer to take care of you after the sale, then forget about being loyal.EDIT: Sold the Rav4 and bought a new 2024 Subaru, have zero confidence in getting the vehicle serviced correctly and the lack of customer service from this dealership made the change easy. Terrible communication. Highly advise against bringing your car here for servicing.I dropped my car off at 9am and was given a 3 hour wait time and sent a link to check on the progress. At 11:30, my car had not even been started on according to the link so I called for a brief update so I could plan my ride/day. I was told I would get a call back. Half an hour later, no call back, I call again. This time I was told no one but my advisor could help me check on the status of my car and he was too busy “doing the job of three people” and would call me when he could. No one ever called me, I got a text early evening/late afternoon saying my car was ready and by that time did not have a ride worked out so I had to pay $30 for a Lyft and ended up arriving 2 minutes after closing. Luckily, I arrived just in time to get my car and avoid $100 in ride shares to and from work the next day. I spent most of the day waiting nearby for an update and lost time and money. There should never be a circumstance where only one person knows what’s going on with a car at any given time. And if the excuse is that your staff is overworked, that’s poormanagement.

My father and I purchased a 2023 Toyota Tacoma from this location and unfortunately, there has been some shady things behind the scenes done to us. My dad deposited $500 to reserve the vehicle on November 2nd, 2023. We went ahead and purchased the vehicle with a down payment of $25,000 ($24,900 in cash and $100 in credit) on December 7th, 2023.When it was time to count the money…my dad, my mom, myself, and our Finance Manager (Ira Carter) went to a separate room away from his office to count the money in the money counter. There was another gentleman sitting down while all 4 of us waited for the machine to count the money. It was short $100, and my mom asked Ira to re-count the money. We made jokes saying it was my dad’s fault for the money being short of $25,000. The total cash amount was $24,900.After 4 weeks had gone by my dad forgot about the deposit. We reached out 3 times in 2 weeks trying to get our deposit back. Turns out someone used our $500 deposit towards the down payment of the vehicle stating the receipt shows that we only gave $24,400 in cash even though we gave $24,900. In total including the deposit, the downpayment should’ve been $25,500.This is false - we did not give only $24,400. We even made jokes with Ira about missing $100 and I asked him what we can do. And he said it’s only $100, we can use our credit card for the remaining $100 to make it $25,000. Ira did not give us a receipt because we thought all the paperwork was in the envelope that they gave us.I was able to finally reach the dealership on 1-18-2024 and they sent me the cash receipt of what was recorded, and it showed $24,400. This was the first time I saw this receipt. We checked the big white envelope that they gave us with all the documents in there and there was no receipt for the deposit. I tried to bring up the story of how my dad, my mom, myself, and Ira counted the money together, but was ignored every time I brought that up. They are just trying to go by what the receipt says. I even asked if they had cameras in the office and the guy I was talking to said no. This wouldve proven we are telling the truth.Do you think all of 3 us are lying? My dad, my mom, myself and Ira counted the money together. All 4 of us. I can’t believe this is happening to us. A billion-dollar company is skimming us of our $500 that we overpaid.Current status: Waiting for another Finance Manager I spoke with to talk to upper management and Ira.Update: Ira called us back and lied. They said me I will need to wait for about 3 hours, it’s okay! Got a car here a while ago and found out recently they jacked up my interest rate and lied to me saying “oh that’s what you bank approved you for now” when I had come with a pre-approved loan with a 2.7% interest rate. They ended up making my interest rate 3.2% and kept that .5% difference so scums I feel like a fool but even aside from that they should not run a business like that. Also on top of that I specifically said not tracking device add on since I will have insurance and it costs a lot extra for the tracking device and when I went to checkout and sign the paper work they added the tracking device even I said not to and said well it’s to late now it’s on there and we can’t take it off so you have to pay for it. No trickery like up in Roseville.The minus 1 star is for the Service department which is hit or miss. I came to have something simple done and they made me wait for six hours before they got around to telling me they couldnt do it and I would have to reschedule and come back another time. That happened twice. But sometimes everything runs smoothly. I think it really depends on who you get managing your case.

This has happened two times now: we have a very low mileage (only 7k in 2 years, the van mostly sits in the garage so its perfect condition) 2017 sienna minivan. We brought it to Maita for toyotacare service, both times the van was scratched. This last time there are two very large scratches that were made to the minivan, one on the drivers side fender, and the other on passenger side rear quarter panel. The wheels are scratched and gouged from the service technician just pounding them with the wheel gun. They were perfect condition prior to our visit. I have pictures/documentation of all of this. I have logged complaints both online and by calling. Both times I was asked to leave a voicemail for the supervisor or manager, neither time anyone ever bothered to call me back at all. Both times we showed up, no one cared to greet us, we had to sit 10-15 minutes in lane 1 before anyone even acknowledged us. I am appalled at Maita Toyota service department. They simply dont care, they are so high volume that they could care less about customer service or actually taking care of the cars without damaging them. I will be escalating this further up with Toyota to ensure that someone that actually cares about retaining customers looks into this.

My brothers and sisters, I swear to God, you are wasting your time over here in this place. The mechanics in here, none of them don’t know anything; they lack knowledge of car parts. Im sharing my own experience here. My cars airbag light was on, and I brought it here. First of all, you have to pay about $209 just for them to check and diagnose the car problem – its an extra fee you have to pay! When the mechanic checked our car, he couldnt find the problem, so he suggested buying an AutoMater to replace it. He mentioned that if they ordered it, it would be expensive, around $1050, but he also said you could buy a used one. The mechanics name was NORBERT SANTOS. Guess what?Later that day, thankfully, we found an older mechanic who was able to fix our car for just $50. Can you imagine? I even paid him $100 as a tip because he was a wonderful man. 🥰

My mom took my car for an oil change, and came back with a 400$ bill! They decided since they didn’t see any maintenance in their system that must mean I’ve never gotten any maintenance done on a 10 year old car and recommended spark plug changes. This should not cost 300$ even if I did need them. As other reviewers have said, their parts and labor is severely marked up. I just had spark plugs changed a couple months ago (and told my mom this) but she perceived their recommendation to be from looking at the car! They don’t look at the car, they look at a computer to see what they can try and get you on. I called them after and said, why did my spark plugs need to be changed after a couple months? They argued with me profusely and said it wasn’t their job to check when repairs had been done if it wasn’t in their computer. Seems like a simple question to ask to assess if something needs replacing. The gentleman on the phone insisted ‘that’s not my job’. Then what is! Should the layperson know when every part must be changed? Or should the mechanic be able to accurately tell the customer? I wasn’t calling for my money back, just an explanation and maybe an apology. When I said to them you should probably explain things more to your customers he all but laughed at me. So take your money elsewhere, or at least do NOT trust their blind recommendations they are just following computers and not skilled with cars or people.

Here is the story. I wanted to purchase running boards for my 2022 Rav4, part sale clerk, we dont have them in stock, but if you pay now over the phone, it can be here tomorrow. What kind of dealership part department is out of stock on running boards. OK, $399 for the running board. How much is the installation, I will transfer you to service. The service department set up the next day appointment, but they couldnt tell me the price. I transferred to the advisor department, and no one picked up they transfer back to the parts department . OK, talk to the parts department clerk and ask them for a ballpark amount on the installation fee. It 208/hour should be done in less than 1 hour. I show up the next day and bam $460 installation fee. Keep in mind they havent even started, but they knew how much to charge you. They saw that I got the limited edition, so they up charged me. Talk to a mechanic down the street. Yeah, lift the vehicle up, install brackets, then boards, 12 bolts in all, would have been 150 out the door. Now thats an honest rate. My suggestion is to buy the parts if needed, but take the installation business somewhere else.

He just showed the car and dint offer a test drive, wanted to hard pull credit. After ten years of faithful service of my Toyota Corolla, I am completely disheartened about the lack of accurate and professional guidance that I received at Maita these past few months. I brought my car in for a smog check in early December, 2022. After the service advisor saw a certain maintenance light was on, I was told without even inspecting it, that it would likely not pass smog. I left the car with them, and by the end of that day, I was told it needed up to 6 parts 4 of which were unavailable and on back order, and that once they came in I would owe $1,200. I decided to wait for the arrival of the parts. While the service advisor did check in with me, my car remained at Maita for 4 months. Each check in was the same. “The Parts still on back order.” Finally, I took the car (for which the registration had expired without the smog cert) to another mechanic, but only after having to pay Maita $200 for the “diagnostic” The mechanic to whom I brought the car after Maita took the car apart that day, and informed me that it clearly had not been examined, and that the only thing they could detect was a faulty gas cap connection. $31 to replace. After that inspection, I took it to a smog cert location, and it passed immediately even without the new gas cap. I had wasted four months and $200 plus late registration fees to the DMV for something that could have been completed that first day last December. My family had to scramble for four months borrowing cars and transporting each other all over with one less car.

They were kind here, but we paid full sticker price and told we were lucky to get it. We have a car, and that will have to do. Took about 3 hours of just waiting around, I wish I had asked for the manual just to have something to do. The alarm and lock system is on the loudest honk, and when we went back for help our sales guy had already left, and we didnt get a chance to get the advice I was looking for. Check in is fast, but out of the 3 times I came here in the last 2 months they have consistently skip over me on getting to a service advisor. 20 minutes after the initial check-in is not okay. One of the guys out front had to take my info and place me in front of someone in order to get my car into the back.Additionally with my first tire rotation, I lost a lug on one of my trips to So-Cal. I was hoping to be able to leave a positive review of this dealership as I purchased my first tacoma pickup truck new from them. Ive always had my service done at the dealership. But today was the last straw unfortunately. . I made an appointment for 10:15for routine oil change, tire rotation, and vehicle inspection. As usual there was a unusually long wait in the reception Bay. Just waiting for someone to come and ask me what I was there for. .When the service adviser Adrian finally came over, I was notified that even though I had a 10:15 appointment, there would be a 3 to 4. Hour wait for my routine service. This unfortunately is not the 1st time that this has happened at this location,. I understand that things happened and people call off but but why is it that every single time Ive brought my vehicle for service? Im given the same wait time and I find myself struggling to try and be. Calm and understanding about the situation. As im sitting there im trying to justify the wait as I always do thinking hey, mabey they are just short staffed or whatever. But this is now the norm here. Whats the point of having appointments if it does absolutely NOTHING to shorten the wait time. I could see them taking non appointment customers like crazy leaving appointment customers in the dust, how does management allow this?!?!. garbage customer service and inexplicably incompetent. Why dont they call to notify appointment customers of the short staffed issue and offer rescheduling?!. They dont give a flying S#!t about your time or appointment. This is Last time I use these clowns, not even a sincere apology given. Eff you maita....

I will never take my car again to Maita Toyota. The service department has gone from bad to worse and the primary reason appears to me to be greed and a penchant for taking advantage of customers lack of understanding of autos and their repair. The most recent visit cost nearly $1000 and was a waste of money. They failed to repair the tire I said needed repair which resulted in the tire actually in need of repair being flat the day after the service. The splash guards that were missing were not replaced as I requested. Instead they charged me for clips added to a splash guard that were missing. They falsely claimed that the oil filter was leaking oil. I replace the filter the previous month correctly and checked it several times following with no leaking detected. Soon after the service my check engine light came on because of lack of coolant which I I assumed would not have occurred if coolant had been checked. It seems odd that this occurred so soon after the car was in their hands. Im not certain that this place is scamming customers but I definitely didnt get anything worth what was charged as has been reported by other customers. Total waste of money and time and poor communication. Grade of D.

Front desk lady was nice in assisting, the garage however doesn’t represent the customer service. I had a few windows broken from a break-in and during repairs, they dented my doors from the inside in the same spot on both front doors. Looks like someone used an ice pick or whatever sharp tool/rough installation process caused this. I noticed this a couple of weeks after pick-up and asked them very recently to help with their damages. Bryce, the man at the service desk after the initial visit, told me tough luck and use my own dent repair service from an extended warranty instead of repairing their own mistakes. Who tells someone to use their own money to fix another person’s mistake. It’s almost as if dealerships have their staff trained to be against you instead of for you …

Their service department is total disaster. I brought my car in for oil change. Without telling me they went to check cabin filter and bent tabs on glove box, did not installed it back correctly, when we pointed on it they sad in was already broken, total lie, because I replaced filter myself two month ago. Will do my own maintenance from now on.

My buying experience was flawless. As with everything nowadays the time line for my car’s arrival got pushed back - but only a little bit! And my salesman, Johnathan, kept me well informed throughout. He also had paperwork ready for my trade in which made the process faster and smoother! The man who handled my paperwork/$$$ - who’s name I do not remember - was fabulous. They were all personable, attentive, friendly and knew what they were doing which made the whole experience the best I’ve ever had!!!

My tire got flat after 6 months of buying the cat. I hit almost 10k miles as well. So, I went to maita totyota for an oil change and tire repair. The person on the counter said the tire is of no use and I have to buy a new tire which costs $300. They just lied in front of my face. How could a 6 months of car need a new tire repair when it gets flat? Then I went to a tire repair shop and spent $35, and they fixed everything. Now my car runs smoothly. This maita toyota is nothing but a scam. You guys are not running a business of service, You guys are just making money by lying to customer in front of their face. The clerk also needs some proper advice to get the knowledge of how to talk to customers. I am just done with this dealership.

I made an online reservation for the 5,000 mile service on my Hybrid Camry and noted that I was going to wait on the service to be completed rather than leaving the car at the dealership. I was concerned in that my experience with dealers is that they typically lack timeliness or a sense of urgency and customer service lacks. So I was concerned that I would have to wait around for hours while they performed the service.When I arrived I was greeted within minutes and introduced to my service advisor who explained the process and expected time it would take. I was out and on the road within an hour which was quite a pleasant surprise.Very happy with the service, the advisor and Maita in general. Both the sales and service experience continue to be excellent. I drive from Roseville to Sacramento rather than have my car serviced locally because the experience is so good.

Whatever you do, dont buy parts here.If you dont know what the actual retail value is, you wont know that They are running a little scam. They are marking up their parts above retail value. Completely refused to sell at retail value.I needed a part right away, They sold me the part for $21.74, it retails for $16.72(not wholesale)Toyota does not do things like this, any other Toyota dealer would not do it. In fact, Ive never seen out car dealer parts department ever sell above list price.In addition, I was working with M***n, He tells me They do not have this part. It happened to be that I called ahead of time to make sure they had it before I drove out there. After pretty much begging M***n to double check on the shelf. He went ahead and grabbed it. He was willing to have me walk out with no part just so he doesnt have to walk from his desk to the back and grab the part.

I made an appointment a week in advance to get my oil changed. I showed up a bit early to take care of many issues. They estimated 3.5 hours for the oil change. Seems like having an appointment didnt matter much. So after leaving my truck, I figured I could get lunch. I walked down the main street until I found something to eat. 1 hour later, they called me to pick up the truck since its was done. I had barely finished lunch a few minutes before. So then I had to walk down to get my truck. Finally as Im driving away, I realize they didnt reset my service light. Ugh... Their service is getting so bad. Wont be going back anymore as this isnt the first time Ive had issues with them.

The best part of coming to this dealership is the cafe located inside. The cafe is a privately owned business and they have a bunch of different food made to order fresh, as well as different coffee drinks. Super pleasant owner and worker. I order the $10 burrito and was a little bit skeptical at first. When I got it it was huge! It has bacon, ham, sausage so as well as potatoes and eggs. Highly recommend! Plus you get free complementary coffee as well. They also doordash. I would highly recommend supporting the small local business inside this dealership.

From the beginning of check in Jason went over and beyond to make sure I was taken care of while service was being done on my car. I requested the mechanic with the most experience and he made sure it happened. There were many delays on getting the necessary parts (not their fault) needed but he made sure he contacted me to keep me updated. Jason and the mechanic did an amazing job. I am very pleased to receive my vehicle back knowing all the repairs are completed and I can drive it knowing it is safe.

I was charged $20 extra for a service my car did not receive and didn’t no want to remove the fee for rotating my tire when they in fact didn’t no rotate them. Beware and check to make sure your getting what you paid for. The Assistant Service Manager Querim Racaj was very rude & did not care about servicing my vehicle. I don’t know if he was having a bad day or didn’t care about his job anymore. But he definitely changed my opinion about this dealership. I’ve been coming here for 15 years and it’s seems like it’s been going down hill. I have had one issue in the past before but I let it go. I decided today I would not let it go and thought I would share my experience to prevent others from having the same experience for bringing their vehicle to here. This dealership is deceitful & untrustworthy now. Also I made an appointment a week in advance at 11:00 AM for only a oil change and my vehicle wasn’t ready till 2:30 PM. This is my first time here. I got here on time for my 9am appointment. They told me my car would be done at 1030am… it is now 1pm… and I’m still waiting in the waiting area…. If the proper expectations were set, I would have arranged to get picked up so I can do other things I needed to while waiting. I will definitely look to use another dealership before returning here for service again.

I left 500$ for booking a car, when I came to inspect the car, the rear 2 doors of the car were poorly fixed, although the inspection was passed. the money that I left, I asked for a refund, they said that they were not. They said to come back in a couple of days and collect the money. I arrived a couple of days later, they said again that there was no money, they said that they sent it by mail, despite the fact that I agreed with them that I would come and pick it up. I do not recommend anyone to deal with this company... I hope this will be a lesson for them to never do this to customers...

I brought my 2005 Tacoma in for a service. I drive it rarely as it only has 95.,00o miles on it. My appointment was for 2:00 and after arriving 10 minutes early, my truck was already in the service bay at 2:00. I waited for the service to be completed in the lounge area which was very nicely arranged with spacing between seating, a beautiful fish aquarium, convenient and clean restrooms.Service took just over an hour with everything completed. They did try to sell me a set of new tires but considering how much I drive the truck, I declined.

Bought a car here back in January and that took nearly 5 hours, mostly due to slowness in financing. Our sales guy was great, very friendly and courteous and really the only positive in the experience.I just visited today for a service appointment that they scheduled. I waited in line for over half an hour to get my service started. It took an hour and a half for them to get it back to me, meaning I was there for over two hours. This was a longer delay than I had expected for a scheduled service appointment.Although they have signs around the building that claim they are actively enforcing social distancing and the employees are mostly wearing face masks and badges that promote 6 feet of distance, there was a lack of enforcement or even basic encouragement. I saw tape on the floor that was completely ignored and chairs in the waiting area were spaced apart but people without face coverings were then cutting between those chairs without regard. Service technicians were leaning within two feet of customers, holding up papers for customers to see and customers were queueing up close together with little regard for keeping distance. Active enforcement to me does not mean simply posting signage and wearing badges - this was inadequate. Employees should have been setting a good example of wearing masks consistently and maintaining 6 feet of distance between non-household members. Nothing was done to facilitate space.If you have any concerns about the current Pandemic, I would recommend you avoid this place like the plague.

They were unable to charge my card for downpayment 4-5 times in a row because they misread the numbers on my card and did not let me know the issue until i had called 8 times over the span of 2 weeks to figure out the issue with my payment. They couldn’t find record of me buying from them in their database until i shared who i had bought the car from, when i was dealing with finances Roland came off very passive aggressive and unwelcoming. I set multiple dates for them to run my card and every date was ignored or forgotten. Was an absolute nightmare trying to buy from them for my first car.

Been a loyal customer for about 11 years. I never took my truck anywhere else. I was heading out of town when I ran over a piece of metal that stuck in my tire. I got to Maita and was told it would take 1 1/2 hours to plug it. I couldn’t wait so I went to Xtreme Wheels and Tire on Watt Ave. they plugged it and I was back on the road in less then 10 minutes. Maitas definition of loyalty is obviously different then mine. Look like it’s time to look for another dealer.

I was looking to buy a Scion just up the road from Maita and I wanted to get a Pre Purchase Inspection done before I did. I set an appointment at Maita for 11. I guess appointments are just for show there because I showed up at 10:50ish and my car didn’t get in until 11:47. I would understand if I was just a walk in, but I set an appointment, I expected to be getting in at the time I set an appointment for. Second time using them because they’re closest to my house and I thought the first time was just a one time thing, nope, they made me wait double the wait time with no explanation. When I asked they said the their people at times get backed up. Makes no sense when you have scheduled drop offs. I went in today for an oil change. I did not have an appointment and was told 2 to 2 1/2 hours wait. That turned into 4 1/2 hours. After which time I was told they needed to replace my battery and wiper blades. I chose to pass and will have Les Schwab take care of the battery and will replace my own blades. My service advisor provided the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 20 years as a Maita customer. His attitude was no appointment, they will get me out when they can. I had no idea they recently changed their ride to work/home policy and that service is only offered to those with appointments. He never came to me with any updates, but another advisor did and I wish I had got his name. My advisor never showed any empathy regarding my long wait. I realize I didnt have an appointment, but 4 1/2 hrs for an oil change is ridiculous. I truly hope my next service goes better than today did.

Maita Toyota’s service department performed excellent service on my 2020 Highlander. The real standout part of the experience is the streamlined nature of the check-in and pick-up process. I have never waited to be greeted and/or checked-in, no matter how many customers are there. The service advisors communicate expectations very clearly and are very easy to work with.

Was told over the phone that I could come pick up a rental, in our case they have given rental to others regarding the issue we were having in the past multiple times. I called and confirmed for a rental and the girl said no problem. I made my situation very clear on the phone. I drove out 30 minutes. When we got there, they made it so clear they would not give us a rental because of the color of our skin. She asked some random service rep for help regarding our case and he said no we wont rent it to you because we dont want to. We didnt say anything back.. this is a sad reality for minorities and so disgusting to experience in real life!When I asked the rental girl why she told me to come with my ID and credit card OTP if they werent gonna rent it to us she gave me the response no I didnt. No empathy or remorse whatsoever.We are so mentally disturbed and feel so embarrassed by Maita Toyotas service rep Norbert Santos.Do better Maita Toyota!

Im new to the area (Grass Valley) and decided to try out Maita Toyota for my 10,000 mile service. Last week, I scheduled an appointment w/ the service department for 10:45am and was assured that it would take no more than 1.5 hours to complete.Yesterday, I arrived at Maita Toyota at 10:45am for my scheduled service. As there were at least 25 to 30 cars spread out over both the appointment line that I was in as well as the other 2 drive-up lines, I confirmed w/ the service rep while I was checking in that the service would take no longer than 1.5 hours and explained to him that it was critically important that it be completed on time as I had a meeting in Auburn in 2.5 hours.The service rep confirmed that the service should take about 1.5 hours so I decided to stick around the dealership. Every 20 minutes or so, I walked back to the appointment line to see if my vehicle was in a service bay. However, as there were only 3 of 6 service bays being utilized, only after 1.5 hours was my vehicle finally moved out of the line and into the parking behind the service bay area. However, after another 1 hour of waiting, I then approached the service rep to find out when the service would be completed. At first, he couldnt find my paperwork and asked if I still had mine. Then once I gave it to him, he couldnt find my vehicle. I explained to him that it was in the parking area behind the service area. He said it would take another 1 hour.I then asked to talk to the service manager (Norbert) to find out what was taking so long, and the only explanation I was given was that they were running behind today and the service rep should have kept me in the loop throughout the delay. When I asked Norbert what was the purpose of making an appointment ahead of time opposed to just driving in, he had no answer for me. When I asked what he could do to compensate me for this lengthy delay, he said that there was nothing he could do as the service was covered under Toyotas 2 year free service plan.After 3.5 hours, the service was completed and the vehicle was brought out of the service bay. However, there was no paperwork provided. So I went back into the service department and had to wait another 15 minutes before the service agent could talk to me. He said there was no issue w/ the vehicle and simply reviewed what services they had completed including checking filters, adding engine oil, rotating and adding air to the tires.Before I left the dealership, I selected the tire pressure gauge on the digital display so that I could monitor it while I was driving home. It consistently displayed readings that were different to the paperwork the service agent provided which stated that both of the front tires were pressurized to 31 psi, while the back tires were pressurized to 33 psi. My readings were 36 psi on the front tires and 33 psi on the back. So, when I got home I decided to check my engine oil just to be sure. Not surprisingly, the oil level on the dipstick was barely above the halfway point.Yet again, I feel betrayed by online reviews which are so clearly gamed. In the case of Maita Toyota, their online reviews suggest that they truly hold their work to a high standard.In my case, making an appointment means nothing to Maita Toyota. Nor does performing actual quality work or being accurate on the paperwork they provide. And to add insult to injury, there was no accountability on the part of the service manager to own up to his service departments shortcomings or have the slightest inclination to even care.

I’ve been coming here since 2006, and the standards keep falling year by year. Most recently brought my Tacoma in for a replacement involving my power steering (rack and pinion). I get the call to pick it up and when I get in, zero power steering. One week later they try to charge an additional $1100 because the tech didn’t flush the power steering fluid correctly causing debris to get into the pump. After speaking with the service rep (who was at least polite) I waited for a manager call, which never actually happened. The same rep called me back and asked if I spoken to the manager and I said no I never got a call. So he said he would do what he could. I ended up paying $480 for the part that they broke. I won’t be going back there again

Sales people are great and do their job well. People outside moving the cars are absolutely terrible. You wait at least 20 mins in your car to be checked in even when you have an appointment. Then you have to wait 20 mins to get your car once you’ve paid. Where is the organization? Are we just a bunch of children out here running a Toyota company? Happens every time I come here. Roseville Toyota is 100% better and next time I will take the extra 25 min drive just to avoid this place. Absolutely ridiculous.

Great Experience. Got scheduled for service within one day. Service Bay drop off was fast and efficient. Car was ready in less than 2 hours (even though I went home). Scheduling an after-hours pickup was seamless and easy to pay for over the phone. Car was near the entrance to the parking lot when I arrived to pick up. Keys were at the front desk and ready to go. Just an over-all excellent experience with a super-efficient car dealership.

We went on Saturday 6/4/22 to purchase a used car and couple of Persian sales rep helped us with finalizing a deal and ofcourse with the approval of management. Since it was passed 5 and banks were closed, they took $500 deposit and requested we should bring cashier check for the remaining down payment which didnt make sense but we trusted them and had a mutual agreement. Today, 6/6/22, we decided to go and finalize the deal and they decided to sell the car to another party and pretty much told us they sold the car and started making up stories. We were deceived and they kept us waiting while holding our money. They left us under the impression that we had a deal but I guess they had better offer for the car despite we had already given down payment, they straight forwardly told us they sold it to someone else. Not only that they were speaking secretly in different language between eachother and acting as if we were poor or we werent good enough for their business. Their customer service is by far the worst I have experienced and I would say we felt very discriminated.

Chris and Jonathan are the ONLY reason this review is 5 stars, otherwise it would be a 1 star review. My wife and I have a Camry and Corolla and scheduled appointments for inspections, oil, brakes, etc a month ago. I bought my car at this dealership in 2012 and have always had it serviced here, usually without issue... but not this time. Despite booking almost a month ago it took 8.5 hours for my wifes car and nearly 26 hours for mine. The technician kept the notes locked open on my car so no one else could see them and give me any updates. The repair status website is totally broken and still shows my car as Inspection - In progress although I picked it up over an hour ago. Numerous calls to the Customer Service call center couldnt help because they said they were locked out of seeing any notes. Service Agents Jonathan and Chris had to walk back to the technician just to find out what was going on, unnecessarily pulling them away from their desks and other customers. I honestly dont know yet if Ill ever go back to this place and the only reason its not a solid NO WAY! is because of all the effort Chris and Jonathan made to help us. These two guys carried the weight of Maitas reputation. All of that pressure should never have had to fall on the shoulders of two people working in a giant business like this. I hope these guys are adequately compensated for saving Maitas reputation.

Staff is fast and friendly but keep trying to upsell. I need trust in my mechanic to recommend service but I dont feel that way with this dealership. Plus they lack other quality of life amenities of other dealerships. Even jiffy lube gives you free coffee while you wait. Toyota will sell you food and coffee while you try to figure out what maintenance is needed and what they are trying to up sell you. Please start providing Uber service again so we dont have to coordinate a ride home.

Rude service right away from the service writer. The service writers looked at me like I was in the wrong spot or like I was homeless. The link on my phone for the appointment asked for me to look for a lock box and place my key there but the service write TOLD me we are supposed to leave it in the car, so I handed it to the service writer because now he is between me and the truck and he tosses it in the cup holder kinda hard. I then go to get a coffee and he then approached me and TELLS me that I need to meet him at his desk to fill out paper work. I ask him if he is grumpy and he says no why. This is my first time here and it was a little confusing. I wasnt expecting to feel like a new kid at school needing to be put through Initiation in order to be accepted, Im 43 years old today. All I wanted was a oil change, they said Im not due when they contacted me saying I was due and then service writer says that the oil is actually good up to 10,000 miles which is unheard of my vehicle currently has 5476 miles on it. They took the second service from me in order to change my oil. They dont treat the toyota care customers with respect. Its not a free service if you payed over 40k to get the truck in the first place!

Weve been Maita customers since 2007. After 4 cars purchased and all their maintenance, were still happy with their service time and again. We tried others closer to home, but wed rather drive longer and get better service.This is an update to Purchasing experience. We moved dealers (Folsom) the last time around (2019) when we were treated poorly at Maita.Now more recently, the service department has been a bad experience. From recalls that they do not honor to an extremely understaffed (or inexperienced) crew holding vehicles for an entire day for basic maintenance. This is just simply not the place it used to be. Would not recommend at this point.

We purchased a vehicle about 2 years ago from these crooks. I texted with a salesman on a Saturday and we agreed on the price for a CPO one year old car. The next day we went to the lot only to argue that the agreement never happened and they insisted the price was $2K more and we could “take it or leave it”. We really needed a vehicle and were stuck so we purchased it. I complained to Toyota and they did nothing.The other thing that happened several times was that several of the options listed for this vehicle on the website were in fact not on the vehicle. Each time I called or emailed about this issue they hid behind the fact that “an outside agency handles their website” so they were not responsible. I visited Maita last year and Collette was amazing. Unfortunately, we werent able to make the financing work, due to some negative equity on my current car. I just returned from buying my new used car and am just as thrilled with the service I received the first time around (this time from Tyler). He was great from start to finish, as was the management staff and Chris in finance and Collette, although helping someone else, remembered us and said hi and was a friendly face to see.They will be getting my business again and I have given their information to friends and family! I bought a certified used Toyota Tacoma in May of 2021. Within 8 months the paint started cracking and the clear coat came off. Within a year and a half, the entire truck needs to be sanded, and painted. Maita Toyota took pictures, and filed a claim. They said sorry, nothing we can do, Call if you have any questions. Ive called and called, and nobody will call me back. I still owe a lot on this vehicle, and now I have to pay a fortune to get the paint fixed.

I had to drop in without an appointment to buy a pair of tires since I had a screw in one that couldnt be patched. Yes they were busy but I figured theyd be able to work me in and get things done in a few hours. How long does it take to pop on a few new tires? Brought my Prius in for a simple oil change after making an appointment. I arrived early and checked in. I waited and was told 90 minutes was normal but that it might be two hours to complete. I waited over 2 and one half hours. No one bothered to tell me of any problems with completing the work on time. I sought out the service writer who didn’t have a clue as to the status of the work. When I demanded he check on it he found my car hadn’t even been looked at. The service manager admitted to me that they were missing some employees and that he knew there would be issues, but no one told me that when I brought in my car. This shows a lack of respect for me as a customer. And just when I was considering a buying a new Toyota. Well, I guess there are other dealers out there.

I brought my car in at the appointed time for service and it was not looked at until late in the day. I was told parts had to be ordered and it was promised to be ready the next day. The parts came in, but were damaged and I was told I had to wait yet another day. They didnt send a courier out to get the parts from another dealer or parts distributor. I told them that I was unhappy by this and they would not offer me any kind of break, a comp or even a courtesy car. I was was without my car for three days and was seriously inconvenienced by this. They had an opportunity to make things better, but they did not. Poor customer service. I will not be back and advise others to take their business elsewhere was well.

He said that he stated that on the phone call and I said very firm, No, you said the car is here and that these limited models sell quickly yesterday. I was peeved by this point, but I wanted my wife to see and drive the Highlander. so we went to look at a lesser trim, but he could not find the key to 2 different SUVs and that he would have to go to the other lot and find them. By that time I was done. I said we were not interested anymore and on the way out I told him that he needed to know his product. The guys even change their numbers around last minute so be careful.Literally as I am filling out the paperwork they add on extra optional services/security things and I said I dont want these optional services. They leave and come back and said they just got a call and someone else is on their way to buy the car, I can either pay for these optional services or not buy the car. Bad, bad customer care. I bought my Camry there 12 months ago. The salesperson told me to call him if I had any questions. I tried to contact him twice, after the sale, but he never got back to me. Then in the weeks that followed, I was told twice to drive there to sign paperwork they overlooked on the day of the sale. Then this morning I was ignored by the service dept personnel as I stood there waiting to be acknowledged. Then one of them helped a customer who walked in AFTER I had been standing there for several minutes. I then left and will only return because the car is under warranty for servicing. From the moment we got there we felt comfortable and appreciated. We were showed several options so we were informed of everything we had available to us. Luis Munoz was extremely helpful, personable, and truly allowed for us to have the best experience possible. While talking with him I had expressed that this was a big deal for me since I had not purchased a new car for almost 10 years. I had mentioned that I had wanted a Tacoma for many years and was so excited that it was finally about to happen (if the numbers were doable). I was nervous that I would sit down, run the numbers, and have to say thank you for your time but this is a little more than we were hoping for. Luis came back, and without even asking, went above and beyond what we were expecting. He truly made our truck buying experience the best it could possibly be. Ron Wilson helped us with our finances. I had to have my car towed to the dealership after my gas tank was drilled/vandalized. The communication between AAA, my service advisor and myself was good. I used a rental car from Maita, which saved me from having to be taken to a rental place. Its nice that they have that service on-site. It took five days for me to get my car back, it had a small problem with how the gas tank was shipped to the dealership, so I had to return to the dealership, they took the car back in, and offered me a free rental car for the day, while they figured out the issue, and called me the next morning with the problem resolved. If you want bad customer service come here. I brought my car in for emergency recall and while there I said can you check out the rear view sunshade. It makes a horrible sound when you put car in reverse and won’t go down. I told them it’s almost likely a motor issue or battery. They told us they would repair for 181 dollars. I left over night and no contact from them all day with my appointment at 9:30 am. At 4 pm I needed to take my wife to get it and they hadnt called. I call and they said they close at 5 pm due to holiday. On the way there service leaves a voicemail. We show up and they want charge us 200 dollars for diagnostic and they told me what I already told them. They want charge me 1800 for a new sunshade and 145 for a battery for it. So they never called to update me and said they called at 4 to update us. You charged me for telling me what the parts cost, he’ll I should just taken to a shop that can communicate, that cares about customer service. Guess they figured since it was there for a emergency recall and it was free, why have integrity and good customer service if we not getting any money. Now I am questioning if the ECU repair for the air bags was even repaired properly. I will take it to another Toyota service shop that cares about its customers.

Was looking at 3 different vehicles but they only wanted to show me “the one I wanted”… Sales persons had their shoes untied and called me “buddy” almost 50 times. I purchased a truck a few days ago. The experience was not that great. The person in the finance Dept was very pushy into buying their maintenance plan and gave us a guilt trip but we were firm with our decision. The salesman promised to have security system installed on Monday but that never happened. When I contacted them after 3 days, no one was interested enough to help me until I got loud with them and asked for a refund. All they care about is making money. Came in today to pick some parts that I have placed online and need some editional plastic clips that secures the splash guard on 2017 Toyota Camry SE. The the parts sales guy told me that he needs a VIN number to get the correct clips. Ive googled the part number and show them the picture of the clip and I told him that these clips are universal, he is still insisted that he needed a VIN number. I walked away from a parts counter and was heading out, but then realized that I could find the VIN on my insurance card. I took my car to Maita Toyota on Saturday 6/11/2022, only the check engine light was on. On the afternoon of that Saturday, they called me from Mita Toyota that the problem with the check engine light being on is the coolant bypass valve. It must be replaced, which will cost about 700 USD, I agreed with them and have told them that’s fine I agree go ahead and replace it . The next day, Mita Toyota called me that your car has been fixed and you can come and pick up your car. On Monday, I went to pick up my car, after paying the mentioned money, they give me the key, and when I turned on my car, I heard a loud voice, so I turned off my car on the spot and went to Val Valadez. the service drive manager and told them that you have damaged my car and you have to fix it for me . He replied you are lying and this harsh voice was present in your car from the beginning. I told them no, its not like that. When I handed over my car to you, there was a dash cam in my car and you can check it. They still didnt accept their mistake. And then they told me to leave your vehicle here so that We will check your car again, around 2:27 they called me again that we need to change the transmission of your vehicle . which will cost about 8000 USD. In this case I will sue Mita Toyota.Advice:Dear Friends, please do not choose Mita Toyota to repair your vehicles because they are nothing more than skilled thieves.

Today I called this Toyota and asked about a 2022 Toyota rav 4 hybrid. I was told that we can reserve this car and come to the dealer to see one in another color. So we go in, look at the rav4 (not even the hybrid one) and head in to talk about reservations. We were told that it would be $500 to reserve the car and would be in by the end of June 2022. Two employees reassured us that they would be running credit as a soft inquiry since the car is not on the lot and they cannot appraise our trade in until the rav4 is on the lot. They said and I quote “we have to run a soft injury to verify you are who you say you are. We will run the hard inquiry once the car is here.” Not just one associate, but two, one being the sales manager reassured us of this. Well about 20 minutes later I get notified of a new hard inquiry and when I asked about it they completely dodged the question. Another 20 minutes later the finance guy comes and lets us know we are being denied and some hypothetical payment of over $100 more than what they originally quoted. I can accept being denied but being lied to and manipulated into running my credit is unacceptable and unprofessional. Even the finance guy said everything is a hard inquiry and that the other guy should have came down to explain what happened which he did not he hid away in his office. the finance manager apologized on the others behalf and said he should not have said that.

The service supervisor told me I would wait for 3 to 4 hours because they are busy. I had my Fiance bring my car in to be diagnosed months ago. I was getting a P0302 code. Plus my car was over heating. They told me it was a sign of my head gasket being blown. No my hose was just clogged. For the p0302 code apparently I have after market coil packs. I need the original parts from Toyota. The managers need to teach customer service to their initial contact staff. First time here. I have an appointment and I arrived 10 minutes early. I was greeted by my car and was told to stay by my car and someone would be out shortly. 20 minutes later and 7 other cars came and went was I finally connected to the service department. Come on! All the person had to say was it will probably be a 10-15 minute wait not someone will be out shortly.

I just moved to Sacramento from a very small town in northern CA and was hitting my 20,000 mile marker on my car. I called this Toyota dealership and it was very easy to make an appointment. When I pulled up they came right out to my car and waived “hi” at me. The employee asked how I was doing today and genuinely cared about me and my car. He cracked jokes and made me laugh! When I walked inside it got even better! Jason helped me at the front desk and we talked for a good 10 minutes! I usually go to Chuck Patterson in Chico CA and am treated somewhat fairly. I love the way I was treated at Maita Toyota! I will be coming back in the future for more services! Thank you Jason!!

Service- Proceed with CAUTION. We took our Prius here for 90,000 mi service and had fully researched pricing calling four other dealerships and checking with Prius chat website and Toyota website. This place, after clear directions from me quoted ~$450 for service based on model and all detail provided. I arrive for appointment today and out the gate the service case worker quotes well over $800, double what we were told after our descriptive consultation. As soon as I protested, he instantly pulls up alternative paperwork showing the pricing we were originally quoted. He never tried to explain there are different levels of service (and by the way thats hogwash you are being duped you dont need that). He just pushed the higher price and hoped I was ignorant. Once I had time to digest what had happened to me, and I had plenty of time to think about it as the service took much longer than they estimated, I told that guy along with his manager that their lack of transparency and willful trickery do not engender any trust in a return to their place. My husband and I demanded they show us the work done and prove the filters etc had been changed. They did do the work at least, so thats good, but Ive never been put in that kind of position at any other mechanic. Trust was lost. The manager did reduce the bill and assured me they wont allow that to happen to anyone again. So maybe Ive helped those that come after me. Just watch it there until they prove themselves to you. Your money and trust have to be earned.

Today I went to the toyota dealership to do oil change and I did not have any problem with my car before I droped of after I droped off My car thy called me because there is a nail in the tireI told them I dont want to fix it I want to go to tire shop to fix it but they tried to fix it and the tire now has become irreparable .I refused to fix the tire in Toyota but they did and put the spare tire. I talked with supervisor he told me we can not do anything for you 😠 😠😠😠😠

I went to buy a new Tacoma and was told that they were selling it to me for MSRP. But there was a funny little $2999.00 addition to the price which brought a base model SR Tacoma to $42,000. When I questioned the sales manager on it he talked around it and, rolled his eyes. He said that was the best price I was going to get and he could beat anyones deal. I went to Folsom Lake Toyota and got it for MSRP. Shop around before you go to Maita. They are dishonest. I guess they figure people cant add numbers.
