They use AI for their customer service now, which DOES NOT help to find out if you have allergies and you need to know if there are allergens in their tea. Prior to using AI, they had people (who now I suspect might have been bots), that responded extremely poorly to customer service inquiries. For example, I once asked why the shipping had increased on their monthly subscriptions and I received a lecture about how they are not Amazon and do not offer free shipping - bear in mind, I never asked for free shipping, I asked when they had increased their shipping costs, since they increased them with no notice during one month and the cost of my monthly subscription went up.Additionally, this location only sells their tea - you cant try their tea, you can only sniff and buy it here. I was expecting a tea house where you could order a cup of tea and buy their blends, but that is not the case here.The company, overall, needs to decide what they want to do - either they are magically connected to their consumers, filled with love and light and caring, or they are simply over charging for tea, with little or no connection with their consumers at all. Very disappointed with how their customer service has tanked in the last year, and now they are using AI.Even more disappointed that they are now charging a monthly membership fee to have early access, discounted shipping and other stuff. Why would I pay $11 a month without getting a product? They want to charge you to have access to look at tea early? That is insane and greedy.Please Note: Daniel has communicated with me via email as he promised here. He was able to assist me further with my allergen inquiry.

Magic Hour teas have become fixed part of my day. I have enjoyed each one I have tried so far. For Mornings; The Matcha, Bohemian Breakfast, Queen of the South/& Harvest, they are each wonderful! Now, for evenings, I Love my sleepy time teas the Topaz and the Childs Pose. And for anytime, hot or cold, you cant beat Ruby Moon its wonderful taste, fragrance & color are simply pure joy.Thank you, Bunni

The tea is amazing but, you better hope you dont need customer service.I had a premium tea subscription with the violet jars. Ive received several jars and never had an issue.This month, November 2023, I received my tea jar and it wont open. Yes I cut the sticker, and usually once you do that it opens easily.This jar is closed so tight when my husband tried to open it the glass lid broke.We still cant get to the tea and now if we still try, we are going to cut our hands.I have attempted to email 3 emails given by Magic Hour, no response and its been a week. Ive called the customer service numbers and they arent active.I am cancelling my subscription.****Update*****After the original review, customer support got back to me and sent me a new jar of tea.The teas are very yummy and good quality. I may order again but I did cancel my subscription since getting to customer service is so hard.I hope this is a side of the business they choose to improve

Magic Hour Tea is an EXCEPTIONAL Company!I purchased their Bohemian Breakfast Tea, which is wonderful by the way, and made a mistake with the shipping process. I contacted them, and immediately I had a representative helping me, and before you know it, everything was handled.Great Tea! Great Customer Service! Great Company!

*Edited 5/6 to update- Magic Hour reached out to apologize and offer a gift certificate. I felt their customer service was sincere in the apology so lets hope this was just an off day and they took it as an opportunity to improve this procedure. I really hope so because they really do have a superior product.4/30-This is a tough one, because the tea is high quality and really nice, and I would have been a lifelong fan. But after drinking their tea for almost 3 years, their service will keep that from happening. I subscribed for tea refills, was charged on 4/23 and when I inquired 4/30 about when it would ship, I was told the tea was discontinued and out of stock. I replied I thought it was a bad business practice to make me have to reach out to them over a week after charging me, to learn this and get a refund. They did refund me, but I got an excuse in response instead in of an apology. For a company that is supposed to be about ethical practices and spiritual health, the customer service did not represent the ethos they advertise.

Received my first order and everything came in great except the tea strainer broke. I reached out to customer service they quickly resolved it and I had a replacement come in. Teas are so good! Because I love bold flavors, I’ve been an espresso devotee most of my life. For me, tea never seemed like it packed enough punch, but I admit, your Facebook ads piqued my interest. And WOWZA, am I glad they did, because while cappuccinos still rule my mornings, I’m certain I’ve been happily roped into a lifelong love of afternoon teas full of intensely delicious flavors.So far, I’ve tried the blueberry cheesecake (pictured with splash of oat milk), strawberry shortcake, lemon meringue, and chocolate raspberry rose. Still more to sample, but I am shamelessly head-over-heels for ALL OF THEM!Thank you for introducing me to this wonderful world. You’ve outdone yourself and earned a lifelong customer.

I received a box which was missing the tea I had ordered but had a tea I didnt order. I read some of the reviews and was concerned it would not be rectified. I sent an email and I received a response from Lindsey in less than 10 minutes. She apologized and said she had created a new order. It has been less than a week, my missing tea arrived today. I offered to pay for the tea I received and was told to keep it as a thank you.The customer service is amazing. I cant say enough about the tea, the quality and flavor is exquisite. I am a huge fan.

I purchased 3 pouches, all beautiful packaging. The shipment arrived 3 days earlier than expected. Theres a ton of care and love that goes into these blends and packages. You can tell everything is very thought out and done with a lot of meticulous care. The owner looks to be in all of the images online, very involved. She looks to be very in love with her business and could probably talk for hours, days about teas, beneficial blends and where each one is from which I can appreciate. Well probably see her on Shark Tank one day getting a deal. Anyhow- My experience so far has been awesome. I purchased teas for their benefits and as a treat to myself. They all have very distinct, wonderful flavors which was exactly what I was hoping for. For me it seems that the ashwagandha goes to my head and gives me headaches- Its a bummer because 2 of the teas I purchased have that in it and I really love the flavor, especially the Queen of the South, the flavor is so luxurious. Its like being on vacay without being on vacay. I reached out to Magic Hour and got a fast response. Although they dont do custom blends in order to remove ashwagandha so I can re-purchase, they responded that theyll find something else that I can enjoy instead. So thoughtful. Instead of replying to me with just a no, they offered a different solution thus solving my issue. All that said, this is a great company! Small business with quality items. I hope to visit them sometime when Im in Cali. Thanks so much!!!

I just got Blue Butterfly Tea Solstice Moon. It wasnt at all what I thought it was, it didnt brew blue, it was flavorless. I tried brewing it at different temperatures. Very disappointed, I love so many of your team I have Bohemian breakfast, Lucid Dreams.Childs Pose Crown Chakra and I love them all, and they all have beautiful flavoring.But this one was nothing

Three stars for the tea, 1 star for the execution. The tea is delicious, but lets face it, its tea. I indulged myself and purchased a bottle of the Queen of Tropics tea. Ive been eying the bottles for a while, and I LOVE her website. I received my shipment today, and sadly Im disappointed & unsatisfied with my purchase. Its literally the worst feeling to be excited about receiving a product, only to be let down upon receipt.My bottle was barely above half full. This bottle is huge, so for it to be half full, is very disappointing. There was a TON of paper in the box, which was beyond wasteful and unnecessary. For example, each box comes with a poster size catalog. Why? I ordered online. Im definitely not putting this poster on my wall... there was some other useless waste of trees included, but not a full bottle of tea, which is what I paid for. Lastly, and most disappointing, was the bottle. NONE of the website pictures show this ugly sticker on top that wraps around BOTH sides of the bottle. If you remove it, theres sticker residue on the bottle top. If you leave it, theres a huge ugly sticker on top of your expensive tea bottle. Save your money and only buy pouches from here. Thats all your really going to get anyway. Well see how customer service responds and I will update.***Update*** The customer service was lightning fast, and thats commendable these days. They responded within hours, I was issued a FULL refund of my order. Im happy about that, but disappointed in the overall experience. Its like false advertising at its finest. It was a disappointing hour, not a magic one.Overall, though it is very great tea, I do not agree with the price point for the bottle if its going to be ruined with that horrble sticker on top. Buying a huge bottle over the mail is porbably not as good an idea as I initally thought. Additionally, the hugeness of the bottle vs. the amount of tea given is a major disappointment. Also, 60- 70 cups per bottle is a HUGE overstatment. I will probably purchase from them again in the future because the tea is really good quality.

I was waiting until January 1st to start drinking the Bohemian Breakfast tea. Unfortunately, I had covid and everything was tasting bitter. I decided I was going to try it anyway and it was fantastic. The taste was really magical, just sweet enough and so flavorful. I absolutely recommend it. It was the only thing I had in a week that tasted great. I cannot wait to try the others!

I love the vessels in comes in, the customer service is excellent. Ive never had the opportunity to explore such a rich variety. Up until now, I was not a Green Tea drinker, but found I love every one Ive tried.. My initial dive into this richness was The Blue Pine Apple bubble tea ( still my fav). The teas are absolutely amazing. Store bought tea doesnt compare. Of the 6 I have tried so far they all have been so special each in its own way, the flavor notes are on point and powerful. Im truly grateful for this store as Ive had a hard time finding tea that i enjoyed since Teavana closed down. And Teavana while their blends were good they dont even come close to Magic Hour. Also the glass jars are beautiful and such a pleasing aesthetic to the kitchen. The jars are reusable so all you have to do is reorder a refill. So happy to have found this site.

Wow, these are absolutely the most beautiful teas I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. You are drinking Art.I gave four stars because it took so long for me to receive my order, I put my order in on November 25 and received it on December 10 I think. I suppose if you were ordering a painting or any other art it might take longer to receive but this is premade soooo...not quite the same.So far I have tried the solstice moon blue butterfly tea, absolutely delicious pumpkin spice chocolate truffle (totally recommend), and Turkish delight (not much to it so Ill add a bit more and see if that makes it better).

Customer service is horrible. Spent over 100 dollars on a gift for my daughter and will now have to spend even more money to ship it to get it to her AFTER Christmas. Website said 3to 5 days and it has been over 3 weeks. The reason they have me was they had more orders than expected on Black Friday.... But instead of letting people know (I ordered on Cyber Monday) they let me order and now my package wont arrive before I have to leave. I cannot recommend anyone order from them.UPDATE, they never sent me an email (third lie). I actually asked them to change the address back on the 20th and received no reply to my request. And as of today 12/27 I have still not received my order.

I was SO excited to find this tea. I have been searching for a replacement for my Zhena gypsy coconut chai which I adored. I thought I hit the jackpot was flat out disappointed. I paid $8 for shipping and waited & waited—sent an email explaining I would be leaving town awhile and hoped that I would receive my shipment in a timely manner; I did not. So, since I would not be back for a few months, I decided to try again. Again, I’m disappointed. The quality of the coconut chai tea is not as great as it was hyped. Couldn’t even taste coconut. It’s probably the most weakest chai tea I’ve tried. The text messages and emails are overwhelming.

I was really looking forward to my order but as soon as I got it I was disappointed. I ordered some stuff that was pretty expensive and when I got it two things were wrong and one was broken. I ordered a match whisk stand but they sent a necklace and the matcha scoop I order was chipped at the handle. I also ordered a matcha whisk which was supposed to have the logo on it (as show on the website) but it was just a plain matcha whisk. I ordered because I thought the design was cool and I can just get a plain matcha whisk anywhere.I tried to email them about these issues so that I could do a return but I just got the automated email and no further help. I’ve tried emailing them multiple times to get the issue resolved.Plus the email said I would have to pay for shipping but they weren’t even the right products. I feel for as much as I paid for everything I should get to do a return to make it right.

Received my first order of personally selected tea (shopped not subscription) and the seal was broken on the tea jar. I reached out to magic hour and they said that that can happen in transit, as the seal is so fragile. I’m taking their word for it but I’m still a bit concerned about something I ingest being tampered with. The subscription tea was delivered intact and I am in love with that. Never received the items from UPS (not the stores fault I know and am emailing with UPS). But the store sends a message saying that UPS marks it as delivered before they deliver it and give it 24 hrs and message them if you never get it. So I message them and let them know I never received it. Theyve never responded to my 2 emails Ive sent and UPS says they are waiting on the store now. So Im out $70 and have no response.Edit: after posting i finally got ahold of someone. It took a few emails. But I got my replacement and the tea is delicious. I even put in a second order and had no issues with that one. So overall their product is awesome. Kinda frustrating getting ahold of someone if needed but that tea is great.

I am so disappointed with Magic Hour Tea customer service. I cannot reach anyone at customer service with questions about my order and both of my emails have been ignored (sent over a week ago). Every time I call, I get a voicemail (and yes, Ive left message). I ordered their organic tea but when I received the pouch, the label on the tea pouch does not state organic. I tried calling them and emailing them to ask them more questions about it and they never got back to me and its been over a week. I dont like that they are not being transparent. I completely understand if something is not certified organic, but the website says its organic and the pouch says otherwise. Many companies post results of testing their teas for pesticides, chemicals, radiation, etc when their teas are not certified organic. This would have been lovely to see. I tried to resolve this privately but never was able to, so unfortunately now I have to share my experience and how disappointing this has been. Magic Hour Tea is marketing to seasoned tea drinkers, it should not be this difficult to get these questions answered.

Bohemian Breakfast tea has changed my morning routine. Starting my day with a small pot of this delightful blend is amazing. I enjoy it with no sweetener or cream, because it has such a naturally sweet, creamy taste there is no need. Just purchased the Hibiscus and Blue Butterfly. Cant wait to try them.

Okay so Ive never really been a tea person. I always loved coffee. That being said I also never have been to the physical shop but i after seeing club magic hour on Instagram and watching Zhenas videos i absolutely had to try it. Her videos, also i just love how informative they are. The best i can say is Zhenas teas are absolutely magical!!! Artfully pieced together as if she arranged it down to the last tea leaf. The fragrances are out of this world. The packaging is too pretty to open almost with their beautiful apothecary jars. The customer service is number one. I tried Crown Chakra: Lotus Mind, Ruby Moon, and i made a latte out of the bohemian breakfast with honey, nut milk, and Cinnamon. Words cant describe the experience. Every sip is a delight. Zhena has made me a hardcore tea drinker from now on. I look forward to trying more.

As a busy mom and business owner, Magic Hour teas are my super special personal luxury. If Im not brewing my favorite vanilla-y Bohemian Breakfast at sunrise or cozying in for the decadence of chocolate-y raspberry rose Soulmate tea with a book, I just walk by my violet apothecary jars and take in the yummy scents. I occasionally visit for a full-on bohemian vibe experience. Be warned though, you wont leave without buying treasures. I cannot resist her jewelry and rarely leave without a beautifully packaged gift for a girlfriend that needs a little self-indulgence in her life. Zhena is awesome at educating you about the benefits of her teas and offers tastings with appointments. Last time I was there she showed me these amazing pearls and said she loves to wear them with her silk jammies. I was all, Are you kidding me?! Now I want those pearls! haha. Perfect place to browse with your partner or a girlfriend trip for a fun and refreshing outing. Youll love it!

I had the opportunity to visit Magic Hour Tea (MH) in Ojai with my friend during our annual girls’ weekend. You could tell that Zhena, owner and founder of MH, pays a high attention to detail when it comes to not only the teas but also the branding and ambiance of her shop. She was extremely welcoming and knowledgeable about all things tea and wellness’ and you will definitely feel right at home immediately after stepping foot in MH. I will definitely come back to visit and to attend one of her workshops or events. MH is a not-to-miss stop if you are in Ojai 💫

I have been drinking and ordering Magic Hour teas for many years. In the past, if there were issues, there was a person. Customer service used to be important. Apparently that is no longer the case.I received my order this week. I ordered A LOT of tea so verified what I ordered vs what I received. My order was missing a 6oz pack of Joyous - even though it was marked as shipped.I did receive something called French 75. This is a white tea and not a black tea nor part of the Chakra group (that I wanted). Repeat - I didnt order French 75 nor was I notified that my order would be changed and I wouldnt receive what I wanted and paid for.Today I tried to call the # shown on the website. It dialed and hung up immediately - 3 times.I then tried the FAQs and was referred to a form that required a verification code. After waiting for ten minutes, I asked to resend the code. I finally received two codes after 35 minutes. In the meantime I had gone to the chat option.I was in the automated chat queue for over 1.25 hours and nada. I am now feeling like I have no other option than to let others know about how Magic Hour is not living up to their own outward face of health, wellness, spirituality, and being your best self.While the teas are truly delicious, they are expensive and Im truly disappointed in the fact that I cant receive help or support for an issue.
