I was lucky to have this very fine coffee shop just down the street from the place where I stayed with my family while visiting universal studios. The place had a great atmosphere, a great selection of coffee and latte specialties, and plenty of those pastries to choose from.Plenty of nicer on the wall, see the book inside and outside. The style of seating was quite buried with a small upper loft area, and a lower area next to the very studies, and various tables outside both in front of the shop and along the side.The baristas seemed very friendly and attentive, and readily gave advice on the choices that they had to offer. The strawberry latte I got was quite enjoyable, which I enjoyed along with a little gluten-free loaf - quite tasting with pretty star sprinkles on top.I went here twice over the weekend not bothering to look for another place because this one was just what I needed. If you are staying in Studio City, I recommend a stop by here for your coffee here

It is NOT easy to find a good cappuccino in LA but this place is amazing! The coffee is way above the average espresso bar, I found it delicious. Great place to sit with a laptop. I’ll definitely be back soon.

Just moved into the neighborhood and this has become my go-to spot for coffee and a bagel before work. ☕️the lavender honey lattes are delicious! Friendly and helpful staff who welcomed me. And the wait is not long at all. During the eclipse they had glasses so I was able to see it 😎🌔

I had a great cup of coffee in a fine mug at M Street Coffee. That’s all you really need sometimes…a great cup of coffee, perfectly strong, served in a comforting real mug. This was my experience on a packed Sunday morning where the upper-deck was filled with lap-top users who looked like they’d staked out these tables months an advance. (You could almost see the proprietary flags waving.) I had a comfortable seat on the couch near the drink pick-up area. I enjoyed the pumpkin scone I had…it was perfect accompaniment to the house brew drip coffee and a very generous size. It’s cool that you can get drinks in real mugs, though there aren’t refills (which many places do on drip coffee) and you will be given a mug / serving size corresponding to the size you choose.They’ve also got local artists’ work on the walls (and actively encourage you to submit a query on their website about hanging yours.)There were some drink specials available that you won’t find on their website too.And the best part, really, was how friendly the staff were…Despite it being super-busy with a very long line, they seemed genuinely loving and engaged with every customer who stepped up to the counter.M Street Coffee is a great local alternative to any chain coffee place where you’re sure to get a fine cup of coffee and a smile.

You know how you always go to Starbucks and nothing ever really seems original or unique? I mean, it’s a chain, so it’s expected, that’s not to say that it isn’t good, it’s just missing that “something”. I really didn’t know anything about this place and came on a whim with friends because they were interested. We’ve been going around to different coffee shops looking for good coffee and I’d have to say this place is definitely a find.I’ve never had macadamia milk, but it’s pretty delicious. I got the M Street Mocha, Kris got the Caramel Royale, and Ron got the Nitro Cold Brew and wow.... Normally, I don’t drink coffee straight and black, but wow, the Nitro Cold Brew was amazingly smooth. I definitely recommend it if you ever come here.

One of my favorite feel-good spots. The service is always pleasant. Their espresso is so incredibly creamy and tasty (although it could be calibrated to have a little more water). The ambiance is very nice. I absolutely love the fact that they support local artists and display their work on the walls. The outside seating area is nice and it is a great neighborhood hangout.

A delightful little NON-CHAIN neighborhood coffee shop. Three of us were exploring the Los Angeles area and stopped in for an afternoon break. Friendly, helpful staff - I enjoyed seeing the lady behind the counter recognize and greet one of her regular customers. We took our coffees outside and sat at little tables next to the building watching folks come and go and just enjoying the fresh air. A sign inside said they were celebrating 14 years - I sure hope they are there for at least another 14 years. Definitely worth a return visit when we are back in the area.

Went for the first time for a morning coffee on Sunday morning. Had quite few people in front of us at 10am, but the wait wasnt too bad. Got cappuccino with almond milk. One of the best Ive had. Decent price, too, at least for the quality. Will probably make it my go-to coffee shop. Good thing we moved close to this place :)

M Street was highly rated, and after 1 visit we can see why. Excellent service, you can tell these people understand that each individuals coffee preference is unique, and they care about getting it right.I love their ice blended drinks. Lots of other places dont fully blend their ice and you end up drinking chunks. At M Street its smooth from top to bottom.Update- second trip is even better than the first. Keep in mind that this aint no Sbuck, their flavors are better, less choked-with-sweetness. It will take a trip or two to learn the balance that works for you. Trust me, theyre worth it.

I just called to check if they had a public restroom because so many places have not reopened a public restroom since the pandemic I understand but if you’re serving beverages I don’t understand how that’s gonna work I’m leaving this review because when I called the Young person (possibly female, don’t want to assume!) on the phone answered in such a delightful way and it was very refreshing!

The pastries are limited to few goodies with nutritional information available upon request.Finding street parking is easy at this place, and it’s a great place to get school work done, meet up with class/workmates, or grab a quick coffee on the run. It’s usually busy and seating can be really difficult to find at times. Wifi usage is limited to two hours with a WiFi code password that is provided with a purchase. If you’re open to sharing space and limiting your web time to a couple hours and you desire the ambiance that comes from other people working and quietly chatting then this is the perfect place to be.

The BEST coffee option in the valley, and quite possibly all of L.A. Staff here clearly love what they do, relaxed, happy, and proud of the coffee they make for us. Tip - buy the $25 credit/gift card there if you plan to come back - includes a free bonus drink of your choice. Seating is kinda tight. Reasonable limits on free wifi, need to buy something each 2 hrs. M Street Latte is THE DRINK to get here, but all actually are delicious. Limited pastry menu.

A great specialty coffee shop in an area with not a lot of great coffee.The line out the door IS indicative of how good this place is! But dont worry, they are quick enough to get you through in a reasonable amount of time.The coffee is great - all the regular fare of a trendy modern coffee shop as well as flavored fun drinks all served in eco friendly cups (YAASSS). The pastries are tasty (cherry almond scone all day) and they have some healthy packaged snacks available also.The place is usually full, even if theres not a line. Ive literally never sat down here because its so busy.The bathroom is always clean, the staff are always friendly, engaged, and obviously are having a good time.Their iced vanilla latte is so smooth, sweet, and delicious that it makes me suspicious that theres something more in it!

Every single person behind the counter made eye contact and smiled at me. All the friendliness was genuine. This was especially impressive, because they were busy.The crowd was mostly middle-upper class professionals or, at least, appeared to be. Overheard conversations about business. This is not to say that the patrons were rude, rather focused on meetings or whatever they were working on. Nice goal-driven atmosphere. Cute coffee shop that has the standard coffee options, I got the Americano (good but nothing out of the norm) I was also presently surprised that they had gluten free & vegan (dairy free) coffee cake. I got the blueberry lemon it was outstanding. Love going to local coffee shops rather than the chains because they usually offer more than the standard (coconut, almond,soy) milk alternatives. One of the best coffee shops in Los Angeles, PERIOD. Its located in a beautiful Sherman Oaks neighborhood and theres plenty of accessible street parking. The staff is one of the most attentive, friendly, and accommodating group of baristas around. My drink of choice is a cold brew, and theirs is FANTASTIC. Its full-bodied and smooth with no acidity. And it has an almost chocolatey after-taste. Plus, its only $3.50!!!! Thats incredible, and well under the Los Angeles average of $4.93 ($4.50 + tax). I love this place and I cant recommend it enough!

We met with our DJ here. This place is rated best Coffee in L.A. It was a nice little shop and unfortunately I did not get coffee. I did get a ginger peach tea. It was heavy in fresh ginger, which was nice and refreshing and spicy, but it completely overwhelmed the peach.Im giving it 5 stars for the people watching. There was a woman here dressed with an easter egg necklace and a hat 2x as wide as her body that included a complete stuffed rabbit. Talk about awesome! I want to be here when I grow up.

The coffee they serve there is the absolute best. Im especially fond of their frozen ice blend mocha and would consider that a must try if you walk in and are unsure what to get. Conner who is one of their baristas is also extremely nice and knows how to chat up the customers. There are even places to sit and free WiFi if you are a student and need to study. So I say go on ahead and walk in and give it a try I promise you wont regret it.

M Street is a very special place- its a neighborhood staple with staff and clientele who enjoy great coffee, tea, baked goods, smiles, and dogs!Practical notes: the restroom is clean, the wifi is free with purchase and fairly good, there are electrical outlets, and a few seating options to choose from (inside, outside, bar-level, couch, cozy chairs, and normal chairs/tables.) Prices are reasonable and there are vegan and gluten-free baked goods, kombucha, and other neat things.If parking seems difficult, I recommend looking on Atoll Ave. (one block to the East) and walking the block.Cheers!

The chai tea and the coffee are freshly brewed and roasted right in front of you here. The atmosphere is nice and quiet, and they have a way to get rid of people piggybacking off of their wifi for hours and hours. This is a great place!I didnt really talk to a lot of people here when I came for the first time, but the atmosphere and indie art on the walls is really nice. Plenty of tables and chairs to sit, with options to sit outside as well.The gluten free peanut butter bars they have are really great. I also enjoyed their chai tea while hard at work on the computer. Keep in mind you have to buy something in order to use their wifi, rather than just sit in there and use their internet all day. Theyre independent, so support!

They are roasted a tad darker and have a rich deep flavor that ends in a bit of chocolate and hazelnut.The milk is average which is fine. It has a decent richness to it (if you ask for whole milk) and no off tastes. They didnt lose points for the milk, they lost the 2 points because although they can steam well, they can be inconsistent on quality of their foam. Never terrible but i couldnt honestly give a perfect score.Wonderful location and well decorated interior with local art that rotates regularly. Has a few bubbles in the paint and a couple scuffs. Nothing very noticable, just not perfect.Friendliest people youve ever met. Very welcoming and quick to remember a face. They are helpful at the register and can make small talk without starting a 10 minute conversation. It wouldve been perfect but i am fairly certain that although they know my face they dont know my name.Very clean and kept up. Very rarely ill notice a small mess of the condoment counter.Pricing is within reason and they are similar to other shops in the area but for better quality.

Came here to cool down after an eventful Sunday Mimosa session. While this place has no more seating than your medium sized Starbucks, somehow popularity taken this place to no seats available heights. There are some guys standing around looking for a place to sit. One dude has succumb to sitting on the floor to read his book. Looking around, some of these apartment neighbors must be stoked to have a quality coffee shop near by, while some may just dread the street parking being taken up. WiFi passwords are given in 2 hour increments per purchase, which you think would clear up some tables.-=-Caramel Royale-=- Think caramel latte and not overwhelmingly sweet (super plus in my book). Frothy goodness in all our cups. I especially enjoyed the milkiness of my warm delight. She got the cappuccino with almond milk, another frothy triumph. I dont think I would go out of my way to experience this coffee, but really if you are in the neighborhood, there is no need to not reward yourself with a warm cup of joe. Lucky enough to snag an outdoor table here, I consider that the luck of the Irish.

M street Coffee not only has a delicious selection of coffees, but they also have a wonderful assortment of teas and tea lattes! (Not just the token chai latte of most coffee shops). Everything Ive tried from drinks to food (chai latte, red tea latte, lavender chai, coconut latte, scones, croissants +) have been phenomenal and reasonably priced. There is convenient parking in the neighborhood and the staff is super friendly and helpful!

The selling point of this coffee shop is that they make their coffees and espresso drinks with organic beans. But I noticed today they are using milk for their espresso drinks that are not organic. Why bother making a latte with organic beans if you’re going to add a cup of milk from cows fed antibiotics and gmo corn? It just seems like a waste. I would have given 5 stars if not for this glaring misstep.

I love +M Street Coffee. After living in Sherman Oaks for three years, this is my home a way from home, literally. Andrea, the owner, is a fellow Midwesterner, and we enjoy reminiscing about the seasons, and the occasional Parks and Rec episode, or Up All Night (which filmed here btw). The coffee is organic and specialty drinks range from a Dirty Chai to a Honey Vanilla Latte (you can order each with almond, soy, or rice milk, if you stay away from dairy). My drink choice is oftentimes the iced white peony tea, which I only have to walk in the door, and they start to brew it.Once a month, they host an art exhibit for local artists which are then on display, and theres free wifi for two hours, or until you buy your next drink, which, is very likely.
