Working with Lux was such a great experience! We couldn’t be happier with our full kitchen remodel…..it is GORGEOUS. The owner, the office staff, and the crews were all amazing and so easy to work with and so respectful of us and our home. In addition, they were there for us when we had a few other home issues due to flooding and were able to also provide a new roof and fix the room that was damaged and put it back to its original condition all while working on the kitchen and completing it within the time promised. We recommend them very highly!

We worked on an extensive home remodel with Lux earlier this year. We renovated bathrooms, created a mudroom, and redid the backyard of the house. The support we received from Lux throughout the project was top notch. Not only was the quality of work very high, but the communication and professionalism was thorough, timely, and supportive. Sagi went out of his way to help us through the design phases, attending showroom visits and providing thoughtful suggestions to improve upon our initial ideas, thus negating the need to have a designer brought on as part of the project. We also made the difficult decision to live in the home throughout the months-long project and they did everything they could to support us in that process, ensuring the house remained clean and as livable as possible. We would definitely work with Lux again on the next project.

We were very pleased with the two bathrooms Lux Builders remodeled for us. Sagi and his team helped us so much with the customized design – even going with us to pick out tiles and fixtures. We also appreciated that they were always reachable when we needed something. His workers were on time and respectful. Anytime there was an issue, they developed workable solutions. It was also very comforting that they provided clear transparency on all aspects of the project from design to city permitting to materials to costs. We would definitely recommend using the professionals at Lux Builders for any home project.

We worked with Lux Builders on our full house remodel. We added a bathroom, changed the layout of our kitchen and remaining bathrooms, redid the electrical wiring and plumbing. We really care about the details and it was nice to know that Sagi and his team catered to that. The project took a lot longer than expected, but it was a large project and the many of the items were delayed - which was completely out of our control. I wouldnt be honest if I said everything was perfect throughout the whole process, but what was important to us was knowing that even if things didnt go exactly as planned we felt comfortable that Sagi and his team would address any issues or concerns that were brought up. Were extremely satisfied with the end results and would work with Lux again. I especially would like to thank Mindy for handling the day to day communication and being patient with all of my detailed requests.

Lux Builders & Remodeling recently completed a kitchen and home remodeling project for us and we are delighted with the results! Sagi Paul is patient, knowledgeable and was there for us every step of the way. With his expert design input and guidance, we removed structural walls, creating an open and spacious feel. In addition to the complete kitchen remodel, Lux installed new flooring, remodeled and updated our fireplace, and replaced our front door. Our older home was completely transformed and updated with the impeccable quality of a new construction home, increasing the value of our home tremendously! Lux completed our home addition/remodel in Redondo Beach starting with design, then obtaining a permit, and finally construction. Lux lives up to their name. We found their quality or work and service to be consistent and top notch. Lux’s communication was consistently excellent. Sagi and his front office team were always available to pick up the phone, answer an email, visit the site, etc. The construction was scheduled consistently and wisely. There were crews working on something pretty much every day during the construction cycle. Lux’s crews were always respectful, trustworthy, friendly, and hard working. Overall, we highly recommend Lux and appreciate our beautifully remodeled home!

The house had a depressing old look and feel, but I had learned to ignore it, until I had a severe water leak. After fixing the leak I had to start looking for someone to fix the paint and damage from it. After getting several competitive quotes, I chose Lux Builders. Lux seemed very knowledgeable, listened to my concerns, and the price seemed very reasonable. Lux were willing to be flexible and catered to my abilities and needs. I was very very nervous, and I was afraid that by myself and with no help I would not be able to prepare the house and do what was needed, including taking decisions if something went wrong.Start day came quickly. I received instructions on how to prepare the first room, and I was told that the teams would help with emptying my closet and I should not be worried about it (what a relief). For two weeks that was the scenario: I would get instructions and I would do the easy preparations while the teams did the heavy lifting.After two weeks during which I and my boys were able to use the house with some limitations, I now have a completely new house! I have new paint all over including doors, cabinets, new handles, and knobs, new backsplash, new electric switches and outlets, new lighting features and a completely new refreshing and happy design look and feel.If I had known that the project would be such a worry free experience I would have done it few years ago. The three main elements that made it a pleasant, stress-free experience were:1. Design plan that was exactly how I would want it. Lux Builders knew how to suggest ideas according to my taste and budget.2. The work at the house was managed completely by Lux so I didn’t have to worry about any issues while the work was performed. In many cases I Lux suggested things that I didnt know could be done, and upgraded the house dramatically.3. Luxs team were amazing--they cleaned each room as soon as they were finished with it, which allowed me to move in and use the room after they had moved to the next. When all was finished, Lux sent a special cleaning service that cleaned the house inside and out, including windows, leaving the entire house shiny and smelling great!I can’t tell you how happy we are with the results—each day we open our eyes to a completely new house.The results are amazing, and the pictures speak for themselves. After talking to a number of building contractors we chose Sagi Paul and were not disappointed. I married Heather from Melbourne, Australia in 2013. She left her beautiful house, her job, all her friends, and her family (including three daughters) to live with me in San Pedro. Heather is a fantastic cook and has wonderful artistic taste in design. I wanted to have the kitchen, master bath, and adjoining areas of our house remodeled to conform with her tastes to show my appreciation for the sacrifices she made to bring happiness to my life. After two years of enjoying the renovation that Sagi accomplished I can only say that I continue to be thrilled with the result. Thanks to Sagi, Heather now loves the house, which she considers her home too. I was impressed that Sagi has found top quality craftsmen for all stages and aspects of construction (demolition, framing, electrical, plumbing, cabinetry, appliances, windows, heating and a/c, and finish work. He demands the highest quality from his workers and they clearly respect him and enjoy working for him. The job took a bit longer than originally predicted, but we had a number of change orders as our vision changed slightly as the job progressed. Sagi kept his crew working until the job was done. Great care was taken to protect the remainder of the house from the construction dust and his cleaning crew of charming ladies meticulously removed all the remaining traces of the extensive work that had been done. LUX did an excellent job on our full house renovation and addition. Sagi and his team were very collaborative during the planning and construction of the project. They were always friendly, responsive and professional and Sagi is an expert problem-solver. The finished product is exactly what we wanted and is definitely high quality. We worked with Lux Builders to completely redo our master bathroom from the ground up. While renovation is always stressful, Sagi and his team were so amazing to work with from the design to the completed bathroom. During the initial estimate, Sagi was very clear about the process, what to expect, and when to expect it. I’m so thankful we chose Lux Builders to handle our full house remodel. We added two additions and pretty much completely changed the layout of our house. From framing to electrical to plumbing to picking out the right tile and even small things like baseboards and door hardware, Sagi and the whole team was there every step of the way. Lux has put together an amazing team of guys that worked on our home. They’re all amazing! We’re so thrilled with the way our home turned out. We knew we were in good hands in our first meeting with Sagi where he cautioned us against a bigger project that would cost more money. We knew immediately he just wanted us to be happy with the end result and wasn’t worried about his bottom line. There was a lot of stress and some hiccups here and there, but we’re so happy with how our home turned out at the end of this process. Working with Sagi, Mindy, and their whole crew on our kitchen and bathroom remodel has been wonderful experience. They are communicative and helpful every step along the way: from designing the new layout and picking out the tiles, appliances, hardware, etc., all the way through the demo and remodel itself. Both spaces turned out EXACTLY how I wanted, and I feel so confident that everything was done the right way/up to code. Let me start by saying Lux is terrific and we were lucky to have them for our project: going from a 2bed/1 bath with a garage to a 3 bed/2 bath and a 1 bed/1 bath ADU. Sagi, his core of 8 or so skilled workers, the sub-contractors, the office staff, all of them were just great to work with. We lived in our house while the work went on (which was hard, I dont recommend it if you can afford not to) and we saw these guys every day. They were always hard working and friendly, just a great bunch of guys.Before we met Sagi we thought the way things worked for a remodel like ours was you hire an architect, then the contractor. So we met with a few and they were all great, but they wanted a large percentage of our budget. Sagi said design and drawings were all part of Luxs process because they use an in-house architect. What we got was an innovative, functional design that, most importantly for us, kept the spirit and vibe of our 1942 Westchester home but brought it up to present-day standards.It all starts and ends with Sagi, he sets the tone for his company and thats a good thing because he is honest, very capable in his work, and a fun, soulful guy. Changes are going to happen and Sagi, who was on-site every day, managed them, explained them to us, and helped to find creative solutions. He shopped with us for tile and fixtures, and had a lot of recommendations for our many other purchases.The house is now done, thankfully, and it took just under a year to complete (Covid-19 didnt help the schedule). As I sit here writing this, I look around and see the before/after in my head and its great. We cannot recommend Sagi and Lux highly enough, I hope you can book him for your project.

Sagi, Mindy and the team at Lux Builders did a fantastic job with my bathroom remodeling project. From the very first Zoom call, it was clear that Sagi was very professional and knew what he was talking about. He explained the process thoroughly, the timeline and was not afraid to give a verbal rough estimate on the project over Zoom.He and his team also did the work to earn my business. I had requested numerous quotes and Sagi was the only one to go above and beyond to win the business. He was willing to come by in person during COVID and brought a folder with him that contained preliminary bathroom designs, measurements and sample layouts. Many of the other contractors wanted some sort of commitment to come by to measure and provide any sort of specs / renderings. I knew right then and there that I would go with LUX.His team was very professional. Doing bathroom remodeling requires a lot of different trades. His crew was efficient, cleaned up after themselves and showed up on time. The quality of the work is very high end. Sagi really pays attention to the details and points out minute details that he would want addressed if he himself were the homeowner. Every project comes with its challenges, but Sagi was quick to address all of them and communicated very well throughout the process.I really appreciate the work that the team at LUX did for me. The bathroom remodel has really transformed my property. Definitely give them a call if you are in the market for a home improvement project.

Our project with Lux was a huge renovation. It was an addition of a bedroom and bathroom as well as a redo of an old bathroom. Needless to say, hiring a contractor you can trust is paramount. We cannot share enough love about Sagi and his family of workers and employees at LUX. We say family because thats how he treats his clients- like family. He answers all texts, emails, and calls promptly and comes to your home at a whims notice. We always felt we were his number one priority (and still feel that way now even though our project is done). Sagi brings fantastic energy to the project and always remains positive. He is an incredible and indispensable problem solver; which is one of the most important skills when building or renovating a house because no matter what, problems come up! He and his crew have an intense eye for detail. They treat any task with incredible precision, effort, and time. LUX Builders built our house from the ground up. We used materials from far and wide that were foreign to their crew. Sagi and his workers studied the material, read up on it and always had a plan of implementation. His workers were incredibly kind and hard working. We have 3 kids and we always felt safe having them in our home. They were organized and tidy in their work too. Sagis generous and warm spirit was always present even in times of haste and stress. We are so happy with our house and get so many complements about the work that was done. Even now when things break or arent how we like them, Sagis crew comes in a days notice to fix, finesse and finish. We have been asked many times by friends, neighbors and visitors- Would you use your General Contractor again? Our answer is always the same- Without a doubt; and you should too!

Lux Builders transformed our outdated kitchen into something my family and I can enjoy for years to come! When we first talked to Sagi about remodeling our kitchen, we wanted to implement a better design that would allow us to better utilize our indoor space while making the kitchen more functional and fun! Lux Builders and Remodeling recently constructed our recent complete kitchen and bathroom remodel and we are ecstatic! We now have a wonderful, lovely kitchen that will be perfect for entertaining. Lux builders did an excellent job of essentially rebuilding my house. They did everything from foundation, framing, plumbing, electrical, HV/AC, drywall, insulation, doors, windows, flooring, tiles, landscape, hardscape, roofing, fixtures and extras like a fountain and fire pits. Sagi has collected a group of skilled craftsmen who are hard-working and honest. Sagi listens to his clients. He responds promptly to messages, emails and phone calls. We had several new ideas, and some challenges, come up during the project and Sagi alway provided good options at a fair price. Sagi has a good eye for design. He goes the extra mile to make sure that his clients are satisfied. He operates on a level of trust and integrity. I highly recommend Lux Builders to anyone doing remodeling or new construction.

We completed an extensive room addition and many areas of the house were also remodeled. One of the reasons we chose Sagi Paul with Lux Builders to be our contractor, in addition to his experience and track record, was because of his sincerity in making us happy and how well we got along, and how intently he listened to our needs during our initial design meetings. Sagi managed and executed from the early Blueprint stage through the actual building and finally the completion of the construction. We had to build quickly as I was 6 months pregnant when we started the project and needed it to be complete before the baby came. Sagi Paul met the challenge and completed quality work on time. We hired Lux Builders & Remodeling, Inc. to complete our room addition and interior home remodeling project. Sagi and his team are very responsive and are skilled craftsman. Sagi was very helpful giving us suggestions that improved our project, such as replacing a swinging bathroom door with a pocket door to save space and adding strategic skylight tubes for additional light. He also helped guide us with the many purchases that come with a remodel, from fixtures to tile to flooring. His team was always very respectful, on time and cheerful. They completely transformed the space. We added on to our home a master suite, and reconfigured the additional bedrooms and bathrooms. We replaced a feature window wall, replaced hardwood floors throughout, re-stuccod the exterior and painted the full house interior and exterior. Sagi also suggested we add a new redwood deck that is now a beautiful part of our backyard indoor/ outdoor living space. The hard work and craftsmanship of Sagi Paul and his team can be seen in every room that they worked on. They transformed our 1950s mid-century home to become a comfortable California indoor / outdoor space perfect for a busy family and entertaining. We are very happy with the results.
