Aaron is an absolute GEM. I told this exact thing to my husband after working with Aaron for just a couple of weeks. They had pretty good attention to detail and communication and our loan went through with no real surprise issues.For first time buyers in Tahoe- just be aware of the likely need for California Fair Plan for fire insurance and give yourself an extra day or two prior to make sure all the insurance provider information can get to Luna Lending prior to lifting any loan contingency (and obviously well before closing!) This was an almost issue for us but everything went through just fine and was no fault of Luna Lending, just the timing and logistics of closing on a home

Luna Lending helped make my dream of buying a home in Lake Tahoe a possibility. Aaron and his team of friendly, knowledgeable, and supportive coworkers all helped me get the home I wanted. Aaron worked very quickly, answered questions at late or weekend hours (I’m not available during 8 am - 5 pm so it is crucial that I can contact outside of those hours for me). I have only ever worked with my family members when getting a loan for a house, and I was a bit nervous at first to work with someone outside of my family. However, I think it is easy to say Aaron was just as pleasant to work with as one of my family members would be. Furthermore, in a world of rising interest rates, Aaron helped protect my rate and made sure we had realistic figures on the sheets he gave me. Updated 2024. Just purchased my new home. Worked with Aaron on my first condo in 2020. Wanted a house now so I could have a garden and a yard. Found my dream home and didn’t want to lose it by waiting too long. He had me preapproved before I even went to visit the house. He takes care of everything. Honestly without the work he does, I wouldn’t be able to navigate my way through paperwork or ever even own a home. He even got me an amazing rate in this market.This post was from 2020. Hadn’t been posted yet. Last week I paid my very first mortgage payment. It was the first time in my life that I didn’t throw money away to rent or pay someone else’s mortgage. When I made the decision to look for a house, I had to go through two different people, who I thought were mortgage brokers and were not, who wasted my time; 3 months of my time. I fortuitously called Luna Lending out of the blue, being disenchanted with the whole experience and heading to Google. He answered my call and met with me the same day. I despise paperwork. Aaron sat down with me, drafted a letter and had me approved within 24 hours. 3 months I wasted, with what this man could do in a day! Between him and my real estate agent, I was in my new home so fast I barely had time to pack. He was experienced with VA loans, so much so, that he had my entire condo complex approved just for my loan to go through (the complex’s first VA loan), and I didn’t even feel any time delay. Now the entire condo association is approved for future VA loans. I have an amazing location. I got the best rate. He made it so I had minimal closing costs and made sure I was prepared for each step. Everyone speaks about how stressful and difficult buying a home is, especially your first. I was really blessed with Aaron because I didn’t feel this at all. He and Jessica Crase bent over backwards for me and let me know how much they love locals to be able to buy in our town. Buying a house is one of the hardest things I have ever done. I tried to go through a few major Banks and all of them put me on the bottom of the list I felt. When I was referred to Arron the difference was noticboe immediately as I felt I was actually treated like a person and not a file on someones desk.
