I love Doctor Lum - he is so knowledgeable really excellent and listens to it I want! I am so thankful that my close friend recommended Dr Lum to me! I had extreme TMJ pain in my jaw from excessive clenching and it was interfering with my sleep, work, and daily life. I saw Dr Lum for the initial consult for Botox in the masseter muscles and he explained the entire process succinctly. I had my injections, and 3 days later I could tell the difference in my jaw clenching. Two weeks later the Botox has made an exponential improvement in my quality of daily life, eliminated my jaw clenching, and I am pain free. I recommend anyone who is suffering from extreme jaw clenching to see Dr Lum for a consult, it can be life altering!

Years ago, I was bitten by a dog in my face and had scarring on my cheek from the stitches. Hear me out! Doctor Lum is the only person I allow to touch my lips. Please keep in mind these photos are taken day of treatment so they are swollen! He has a steady and gentle hand and very professional. His office is easy to find and amazing staff. Doctor Lum also does my Botox. I have needle anxiety believe it or not... so when it comes to the sight of needles I get super scared and anxious. He walks me through the whole process and mentally prepares me step By step as Im getting treatment to calm my nerves. He also plays relaxing music for me as Im getting treatment. For a long while I was opposed to any kind of Botox or fillers - they looked fake, it seemed to take your expression away- then I met Dr. Lum and literally gave it a shot. He didn’t make me look changed, just better. Droopy eyelids raised just enough so I looked happier, more alert. A little here and there for just the right result. He’s more a sculptor than a technician and clearly loves what he does. His office is lovely and he only takes one patient at a time - - it’s very personal and focused. My left eyebrow is about a half inch higher than my right eyebrow. Dr. Lum was able to fix the problem by injecting a tiny amount of Botox to bring down the left eyebrow. I have recieved consultation and treatment for horizontal forehead lines as well as issues with TMJ in my masseter muscles. Dr Lum is extremely knowledgeable. He will educate you on the history of the types of injections, which is recommended, which is best for what, and will breakdown the doses for you. He is thorough with his communication to you to make sure you understand what procedure you are receiving and all the nuts and bolts that goes into what it is that you want to achieve. He wont oversell, nor will he pressure you. He recommends starting off small when it comes to dose injections, which I appreciate. He follows up post treatment to make sure you are happy. How we choose to age is personal and subjective. I straddle the line of wanting to age beautifully with the tools available to me (botox, fillers, good skincare) without being quite ready for surgical intervention (a face lift).I’ve been treated by Dr.Lum for over 10 years (since my 30s) and I cannot say enough about his skill, experience, and artistry. He is elegant with a needle and VERY meticulous. This attention to detail is something you want in an aesthetic practitioner. The results are always beautiful and natural.My advice to anyone seeking non-surgical treatments (botox, fillers, etc) is this:1. It’s your FACE, invest in it! This is not the area you want to bargain hunt in. Experience and quality costs money.2. Experience, experience, experience. Upon arrival to Dr. Lums office in Torrance, the aesthetic outdoor surroundings offer tranquility and a beautiful site. Once I stepped foot into the office, it was very clean and well put together. The treatment took less than 10 minutes and I was all set to go with my at home kit and instructions. I came back for a second treatment (touch up 12-8-20) and saw my before and after pictures. Seeing the results post 1st treatment, this is the best chemical peel Ive ever gotten. My skin is 10x smoother, a few shades lighter, acne scarring is gone, no pimples, and as one person stated, I look as if Im wearing makeup. I have been a nurse for several years and knew this was a direction I wanted to lead into. The last year I have been getting juvederm voluma (sorry for bad spelling) in my cheeks. It makes SUCH a difference.
