Wow this place has the best taco I ever ate. Staff is super awesome food it’s made right away. I had the taco special it comes with 4 taco of your choice, and a side of chips,grilled jalapeño and a drink for $10.00 plus tip

CASH only. They have an ATM that charges a $3 fee. Friendly staff and pretty clean for being next to a busy bus stop. Their tortillas were dry. Dont think they used oil. Other than that, food was decent and not too expensive.

I wish we could select no stars! Horrible food now and definitely not worth the money. Haven’t been here in a while so my boyfriend and I came, but with the food we received it’ll definitely be the last time we come here. Ordered a shrimp cocktail that was no where near fresh, had a funny taste. Our fries were soggy with no seasoning. The worse part of it was that my boyfriend noticed mold on his burger bun after we were more than halfway done with our meals. So sickening to my stomach, I am disgusted and hope I don’t have to sue. Not WORTH $50 FOR A FAST FOOD!

The service was went well. The food very pricey. Far as taste and Quality of the food could be a lot better. Nice size carne asada burrito. The french fries could be a lot better. To dry overcooked to much sodium. Hopefully the Lucys will work on quality of there food. Lower your prices. This is my opinion of the folks may have a different opinion. Nearly thirty years ago I think I had an unmemorable snack here-- at night? Back in the nineties when the parking lot was a drug market? I avoided it until Sept 23 I was on the way home and stopped to get the Ant her basic burrito (bean and rice, no cheese, occasional chix) because a)drive through and b) Mexican drive through and c) I was nearby when I realized the Ant needed grub . Very efficient service and I decided to get a hard shell potato taco -- it came in an order of three so I thought well thats a bit much but maybe the Ant can help.The first sign as I drove back east that this was better than I was expecting was the thin, flavorful, and perfectly salted chips. I dont eat this delicacy unless they are really good and these were. They didnt survive the ride home. Once home, I was absolutely stunned, being an Eastside L A Mexican food chauvinist, to find that the papas tacos were flatly some of the best I ever had. Shocking! The second superlative westside Mexican food experience in as many trips west of Western. A reminder to keep an open mind because stomach is always open. Suffice to say the Ant didnt get any potato tacos...and I ate the SECOND bag of chips, a very considerate touch by Lucy, and obviously meant for the Ant.

I love the quick service and the food is yummy. When Im broke I always opt to grab a side of frijoles and they give you plenty with tortillas, salsa and jalapenos for less than 6 bucks.

I’ve been going to this place for 15 years and I always get the cheeseburger combo because they serve a good portion of fries! Today I went to Lucy’s and this time I get THE SMALLEST PORTION OF FRIES! I was so upset. Whoever was preparing that order please make a Lucy’s og prepare it because clearly you don’t know the lucys fries portion!!! Ur lucky that I’m not giving you a one star because I still love this place I’m just upset that I got a small portion of fries which is unbelievable!!!!

The nastiest food I ever had in my life. Lucy’s used to be good but this was terrible. I had a chili cheese burger they put some government cheese on a bun with a little bean chili and a dry patty. The soda taste like beer. The French fries were not like burger stand French fries they were think and had too much seasoning. The enchilada plate was nasty and unseasoned. Honestly if they are not going to put any effort into making quality food like the other burger stands they should just wrap it up and shut down. They had a good run…

Maybe I’m just not ordering the right things but every time I come here the food is so incredibly mediocre. I stopped by to get a quick order of chili cheese fries thinking. “It’s chili cheese fries they can’t mess that up” ... low and behold,somehow they did. They gave me this roast type of meat instead of like a classic chili covered in white cheese. Now maybe to some people having this mystery roast type of beef would be an upgrade but I didn’t want roast beef mystery chili cheese fries. I just wanted some classic chili cheese fries and this is what I got lol I keep coming here trying different stuff just hoping something will be good bc obviously this place is popular but I think I’m done trying to make it work lol it’s just not good to me. Good Sonora-style Mexican food, generous portions. I wish I didnt get the chilaquiles because the chips were sooo greasy 😕 I was not offered a choice of red or green sauce, either. In my opinion chilaquiles should start with chips that were baked, or fried just once. Then they can really soak up the sauce. Some crema should be added on top, a bit of chicken, and some sliced avocado. Then the eggs. Sublime! And jalapeno carrots should be offered with all meals...its one of Sonoras gifts to Mexican cuisine.

1/18/24 it’s about 11 pm my friend and I went to get a few burritos. I ordered a breakfast burrito with bacon add sausage. The employee asked me 3 times to repeat me order. I then told him please make sure the pico de gallo is on the side. Instead of him telling me it doesn’t come in the burrito he charged me for a cup of it and gave it to me on the side. Then I told him to add sour cream. When I received my burrito there was no sour cream and I wanted more salsa for my burrito, he wanted to charge me 1.64 extra for a small salsa. He was extremely rude when I asked him could I please have more Salsa, rolled his eye and proceeded to ring me up. The people behind me told me they heard me order perfectly clear and that he was being a little rude. I don’t know if it was the color of my skin, but I didn’t like the service I received. When my friend ordered he spoke to him in Spanish and he still had an attitude. I wouldn’t recommend this place or please get another person to service people here.

“I recently visited this establishment with the hope of a satisfying meal, only to be met with an utterly horrendous experience. I ordered carne asada fries, expecting them to be delightfully crispy. Instead, I received a pile of soggy fries, drowned in an excessive amount of thousand island and sour cream, topped with watery guacamole. Beneath this mess was a scant layer of asada, barely noticeable. It’s appalling that this is considered a $15 dish, especially with no cheese. The only redeemable aspect was the side of salsa, which is hardly a consolation. This was a late-night gamble that didn’t pay off, and rest assured, I won’t be returning.”

Ok, so this place is pretty damn good... No joke their taquitos de guacamole are insanely good. I usually get the chicken ones and they are incredibly good. The salsa is mildly spicy and adds more flavor to taquitos. Theyre usually very crispy too which only adds to the deliciousness LOL. Highly recommend this place for delicious taquitos de guacamole.

They’ll show you a picture of the menu which doesn’t tell you that some items aren’t included.The woman in the register taking your order has a nasty attitude, bed temper as well lack of simple matters.Please eat some place else. Food was good but employee Carlos was very disrespectful after I ate and asked for more than the certain amount of free water cups before they charge. Thats fine, but Carlos attitude was very rude, I was waiting for the bus since my car is messed up, its cold, Im wearing shirts and a t-shirt and I asked to just chill inside, he asks How long I say about five minutes or so and he still, with attitude, says nah man, you gotta go. The food was good and so was dessert, but this was unfair treatment and for that reason I wont be coming back unless they can make it right for me.

Breakfast is a huge deal for me. Finding a spot where they sell good breakfast food can be difficult, but I found one. I always pass by this place, but never went to it, so I decided to go for a visit...and I dont regret it. They give a good amount of eggs, theyre cooked right and are buttery 😍 The hashbrowns are nicely crispy, but soft and their toast is great as well. And the coffee is soo good too XD Overall, this place is awesome! Theres also space inside and outside, so another +1. Highly recommend.

Its pricy but the food is stellar. Large portions lotta meat. I got 5 tacos for 15 bucks, it came with three small bags of chips, six small containers of salsa and tacos were fat with loaded beef. I went inside around 3am, salsa bars were closed assuming they had one, so I asked the guy for onions and cilantro and he gave me plenty. Six good quality napkins, the doode hooked it up. I forgot to ask for hot/mild sauce so remember to ask for sauces. Overall, stellar experience, Ill be back for more!

No bathroom, $14 breakfast burrito was the worst in LA so far, made with store bought hash browns and looks like liquid egg was used, had to request to have beans added. 4% tacked on to your ticket to use a debit card and salsa is good but not spicy at all. Cashier was friendly though, so they got an extra star because of him.

I went In today got a torta and a large Coca-Cola that cost $3.25 and when I went to go ask for a refill he lets me know there is no refill. There is an older lady at this location shes very rude at all times and not very helpful with the items or suggesting the items she never likes to repeat anything more than once. Because of bad customer service I would not recommend anyone because I would not want them to have that experience of a drive-through or fast food restaurants. Good service is important. I frequent this place often because my children love there food. So we will stop by here pretty much every day. Unfortunately, there is this on short Spanish lady name Dulce, who is very Rude, no matter the time or day!!! I believe she is racist, she seem to only be this rude to African Americans. Ive witnessed it countless timesI even contacted the manager and reported her before. If she is going to be nasty and rude, maybe she should not work the drive thru. We want to support your establishment, however not under these circumstances.

I recently had a taste for chili cheese pastrami fries drove to Lucys to get me some and drove all the back home to find the chilli cheese fries were a BIG disappointment the chilli was really nasty no taste at all and to top it off they put white cheese on them who puts white cheese on chili cheese pastrami fries. The corn tortilla had a bad aftertast, the beans and rice was just ok. Had a few spoons of the beans and rice before I threw it all away. The tacos came with two shells and that was not enough to keep them from falling apart. The tacos had no flavor. Had to eat it as a salad because the two shells would not hold. Did not care for the food at all. Will not go back. They use to except credit cards; but since they invested in an atm machine you must get cash from the a atm machine at the cost of 3.00, not to mention the 3 dollars you would have to pay your own bank. The food left a bad taste in my mouth, not sure if its because of using cheap oil or not. Totally unsatisfied with that meal. The salad consisted of wilted lettuce only. No tomatoes, cucumbers. We paid $150 worth for our family of 9 and food was not what we expected. We were visiting from Texas. Cashier did not explain plates correctly. Ordered 3 quesadillas for 2 children she didn’t explain they were big quesadillas and tortillas were really nasty and had no sides. 2 of adults ordered enchiladas and they sauce tasted like chili not like enchiladas sauce. 1 ordered fajitas and meat did not look like a beef steak fajitas it was more like a censina meat. They should serve their lettuce side with tomato and or onions instead of putting tartar sauce, not everyone likes tartar sauce. Rice had no flavor. Only thing I liked about it was the chips and salsa. Plates are expensive. Restaurant had a weird smell and they don’t accept cards and no worst no restroom.. won’t be going back..

I love Lucysz i been coming here for years, my review may be biased bc I stick with safe foods...meaning no meat. Cheese enchilada combo and bean and cheese burritos...I always have to heat up the food at home, and thats ok. I dnt kno wat cheese they use, but its on point. Also have cash bc the credit card fee is CRAZY. Main complaint is the number of salsas given with each entree....it should automatically be 2 to 3. The plates are large and we pay enough...just my opinion. I used to go to El huero, but this might be my only late night spot from now on.

I lived around the corner from Lucys in the 80s. (I now reside in Vegas) In the 80s, Lucys was 24/7 then, great tasting food, always freshly cooked & free pickled jalapeno condiments still given is a nice plus. Still reasonably priced, kept up, clean and fast service after all these years. I highly recommend the Machaca burrito (shredded beef & egg)... yummy to my tummy!!!

We used to come here alot and loved their food but a few times the asada meat in our food tasted sweet like if they had added sugar instead of salt so we would end up throwing it all away, over $60 in the trash each time so we stopped coming here. We decided to give it another try after about a year just to be disappointed again, we bought tortas de asada and the bread was beyond burnt, it had very little meat and they didnt put tomato or mayo on there like they used to make it. Very disappointing. The salsa is always good though.

We are super upset that they only have a 4 star review and that’s why we haven’t tried them.One day we just said we are trying “Lucy’s” and we were so mad we didn’t try this place earlier. Every burritos we had here was amazing! The fries, burgers, sandwiches, taquitos, juices, chips and the SALSA was fire! Always looking for a great local burrito place and this one hits the target! They are fast, never messed up our orders and everything is made perfectly. I am crazy picky when it comes to a certain type of burrito I want and most places have no flavor or nothing in it that makes it special.I’m impressed and I can’t wait to eat more things from there.

Like I dont usually say something after ordering take out over the phone but the man was so extremely proficient in his job that it took me back for a second! Haha! Shakes are bomb too btw. Lucys has been my go to place for burrito de lengua wet with Chile Verde and creme and lots of chopped cilantro no onions. This burrito comes with 2 sides and tortilla chips and salsa if you get the meal. I have very seldom been disappointed with this order. The service is usually prompt and pleasant. What I do not like about Lucys is its cash only policy. There is an ATM machine on the inside that charges three dollars. This cash only policy is why I did not give a 5 star rating.

My mom and I stopped in for breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised to see their huge parking lot in an area where parking is limited. Easily the best secret in Los Angeles. I went through the drive-thru around lunchtime on a Thursday, and the service was excellent. Ive had quite a few things on the menu, everything is super tasty and very fresh. Their refried beans are delicious and their tacos are divine. They use quality meat and very good toppings. The food is seasoned well - you can tell the cooks really care about how their food tastes. Wonderful chile rellenos, and of course they have great breakfast burritos. Drive-thru Mexican fare along with decent burgers and pastrami. This is Mexican greasy-spoon style stuff smothered in sauces and melted cheese. All the flavors clumsily knocking into each other in the best possible way. This is not fancy, but it sure hits the spot. Sometimes that exactly what you need.

The food is really good the carne asada fries and chili burger . The tacos are huge and delicious and so is the horchata. Just check your order before you leave theyre so busy that they usually get something wrong but its still worth it.
