Devin is very knowledgeable and was able to quickly answer legal/structuring questions and confirm information related to a condominium our daughter will be purchasing with our assistance. He then helped us prepare and file the corresponding legal documents to give effect to our purchase and financing. His fees were very reasonable, and I highly recommend him for this type of work.

I scheduled a zoom appointment with Devin in August 2023 regarding the transfer of the Prop 13/Prop 19 tax base from my mothers estate to me for the purchase of my new home. During the call he efficiently got me on the path filing the correct paperwork in both counties. He was somewhat doubtful that the timeline of the processing of the estate, sale of her house and purchase of my house would work out, but I ran down the path he pointed me on. Seven months later, I was thrilled to find a county property tax refund in the mail and the notice that I had been approved on the Prop 19 paperwork. Most of the online information on these transactions was not clear or helpful in trying to retain that tax base. My 1 hour appointment with Devin was extremely valuable to me. Thank you!

DO NOT HIRE! This law firm is the most unorganized & unprofessional business I have ever dealt with in my life. After charging us for an hour of zoom consultation we were ready to move forward with his service. However, we had one final question to clear up before signing the contract. We got the run around from his office for more than two weeks before we gave up on hearing from them. If you like being ignored and getting the run around from his employees, go ahead and hire him. I am beyond disappointed that we wasted a lot of time just waiting to hear back from them when we could have went with another firm.

Devin was the only attorney or CPA that I talked to that was knowledgeable about prop 19. He helped me complete the forms and submit them. I needed to make sure this was successful because the amount of savings behind it. Devins cost were very reasonable and he was easy to communicate with. Excellent real estate law services.

We had consulted with other attorneys before, but no-one caught onto the details like the way he did and he was very helpful. if you need someone that knows all the ins and out of real estate and notices the details and has a ton of experience. Devin and his staff were an absolute savior! I never could have gotten through my court case without him. He is incredibly knowledgable on the law, and the inter workings of attorney to attorney communication. I feel that some attorneys take short cuts, or dont put their full effort into cases because of how busy they are. Devin is the complete opposite of this. He will always be there for you every step of the process. His communication skills are excellent as he always keeps you abreast of what is going on. When dealing with deadlines that is as important as it gets, and worth his weight in gold. Id imagine that Devin utilizes all of these skills when representing clients in real estate transactions too. I really cant say enough about Devin, and the entire Lucas Team!!!

Every good thing I have to say about his has already been said by others who have reviewed and ever had the pleasure of working with him.I, too, had a complex family and real estate issue to deal with that he handled with integrity, skill, and efficiency.
