Plenty of easy access parking. I didnt need to get out of my car to move shopping carts. They provide an Online Shopping experience to be delivered to your car. A large store with NO empty shelves... even on Sunday. Very helpful Associates. My favorite store to date, for hardware and all home improvement needs. Bye-bye Walmart! Hello Lowes!

Lowes used to be a place that was a better home supply store not so much anymore. Empty store associates visiting with each other instead of helping customer if you can find there hiding spot. Needed some plexi cut was actually told by an employee they cant cut even though they have a cutter what a waste of time. No wonder there stocks are in the toilet.....might as well call them the next Sears how sad. This location worse then most.

Big thank you to Doreen in appliance for leaving her computer to help us just across the aisle in the light fixture. Nathan was on break, she saw us needing help and offered doing the best she could. On Thursday, January 25, 2024, I had a wonderful experience at the Paso Robles, Ca. Lowes store! I had been a loyal Home Depot fan for years, but their products AND SERVICE PEOPLE have deteriorated greatly, so I thought Ill try Lowes.WHAT A WONDERFUL VISIT!! Your employee, Brandon Rodriquez (4492149), at store #2730, was knowledgeable, helpful, knew where everything was I needed, & offered helpful suggestions. We went from department to department until I had everything I needed for my upcoming project!!I am now a Lowes fan and will come to my Paso Robles Lowes for ALL and EVERY home & garden item I need. The lady at the front who helped me pick up my stove was so nice! I just ate before going in and said I needed a piece of gum so bad. AND SHE GAVE ME ONE! Very professional and very nice. I wish I could remember her name. She also answered the phone when I called before coming in to see if it was ready. Was also very nice on the phone. Whatever she makes, she is worth wayyy more as you just dont meet people in stores like that anymore. Thanks 5 gum sharing friend, for all the help and the piece of gum. :)

Horrible experience ordering a dishwasher with delivery and install paid for as extra. Paso Robles, CA Lowes store.The installers showed up on time, but then wanted another $150 to touch the electrical, on top of the already paid $219 install fee. When I said no, the left, leaving the old dishwasher half out, and the new one sitting on the pack porch.Thats what you get when you sub contract out a service. Unfortunately, since Lowes chose the subcontractor, this is on them. DO NOT use Lowes home install services. I did get apologies from Lowes install department personnel, but that doesnt solve my problem. I guess I will install the new dishwasher myself. Its not hard, I just did not have the time.I am supposed to get a refund for the install cost. So, I guess, technically, were all even. But, what a poor experience and a waste of everyones time and money. No one has pride of workmanship anymore.

I have always had good experiences at this Lows. IDK if its because its in a small town, but I always get that small town experience there. Everyone is very attentive to my needs. We have purchased several 1000s of $ on appliances at your store. My Boyfriend went to ask about a missing item from our very recent purchase of a washer and dryers. A girl named Andrea was very rude to him about the situation. She said several comments to him that were very uncalled for and acted like he was bothering her. He had a legitimate problem. I am so disappointed with the roof installation I ordered through the Lowes store in Paso Robles, CA. The roofs on my home and my granny cottage were installed in 2019. The first rain came and the granny cottage roof leaked. Contractor came out and fixed it. Now, 3 years later, when we are actually getting rain, it is leaking again. The roof on the main house is leaking now, too! I called the customer service line, and they told me that the labor warranty is only good for 2 years and that I should call my homeowners insurance. They didnt even offer to come inspect to ascertain that it was a labor issue and not a materials issue. I wont go into the hassles I had with the contractor at the time of installation. I am so upset and angry about having to deal with a leaky roof so soon after installation. NEVER again will I hire Lowes installation services for ANYTHING! Terrible! Dont fall for their financing options... it isnt worth it! Shameful quality of work and shameful customer service.

If I could rate my experience lower I would. Briefly, I purchased 120sf of Saltillo tile recently, also a tile sealer because Saltillo tile comes unsealed. I set the tile then applied two coats of sealer and waited several days to grout. When I began to grout it became apparent that the sealer had failed, the color from the grout was absorbed into the tile and nothing I did would remove it. This required me to chisel out 20sf of tile and then scrape the thinset off to create a flat surface to reptile the area.I went to Lowe’s today to get a refund for the sealer and the tile I lost because of the sealer failure. The on duty manager (Don Goldmanner) misconstrued the sealer directions and used that as an excuse for denying a refund on the tiles that were ruined. It’s only approx. $40.00 but that’s not even considering the time and effort it took to rectify the issues caused by a product Lowe’s recommended and then sold to me. I will never shop there again.

I dont leave too many scathing reviews, but I feel like this is appropriate. First off, Lowes in Paso doesnt carry some of the most commonly used hardware for general building. For example, they dont stock any #10×4 torx construction screws. Home Depot has them all day. Those are my favorites for framing fences. Secondly, it seems like no manager in the store knows how to appropriately stack and store lumber, especially fence pickets. Unless you open up a new unit of 2x4s, youre lucky to find a few straight ones. They should go by Big Creek Lumber and take notes as to how that is done. Thirdly, I had a very bad and embarrassing experience with one of the managers last weekend. I will leave his name out, but he knows me. He knows Im a licensed contractor and a public employee who shops there daily. He had come out of the store yelling at me to stop so he could check my receipt when I was halfway to my vehicle. Apparently, he thought I was a common thief. Then he implied I didnt pay for all of my items. Once he saw my receipt, he went back in. This was in front of lots of people. It was completely unnecessary and embarrassing. I would not shop here again if Home Depot was closer. Unfortunately, it is all we have in Paso. Other employees are great. Nancy at the lumber exit is great! She always puts a smile on my face.

Went to Lowes to buy lots of plumbing supplies for my bathroom however I needed a hose for my water heater which was on Clearance when I went to the register The hose bring up at $3.08 when I asked the lady that the hose was on clearance she said I will have to go take a picture of the item and for me to do it I said no problem I will since you only have 2 registers going right now and now the register line was 10 people deep by the time I was able to go back and get the price and when I showed her the price was different she still did not change the price of the item so I got my items put him back in my cart and left the store without the items and I will never return back to Lowes again home depot and miners (Ace Hardware) your my place.....

Emilio spent so so long helping us look for a patio furniture set and getting it. He even let us know he would continue looking after we left that day and to try again tomorrow. Tomorrow came and he delivered! He found the remaining 2 chairs after we left, and we purchased them that next day. Give that guy a raise! I was actually planning to buy a different set for a lil cheaper at an online store but stuck with Lowes because it was there and the customer service was fantastic. Thank you Emilio!

Helped me with a replacement ballast. Good staff here. They will ask and help you find the parts you need. The experience started off as one of the best ever. Julie in the appliance department was excellent. She was patient, knowledgeable and helpful. She helped us buy a whole kitchen of GE PROFILE appliances on sale, fridge, stove, dishwasher, hood and microwave.We bought far in advance of our kitchen remodel so that we would have the appliances on hand after the cabinets and countertops went in. Lowes would not store them so we had to have them delivered to our house.Here is where the experience started to sour. The appliance installation company you hired would not make an appointment with me in advance of countertop installation. We wanted to make sure we didnt have to wait for a long period of time . So I arrange for my handyman to install the hood and dishwasher, and I paid Lowes an extra $80 delivery charge to come back and install the stove and fridge. Your installers were awful . They were late. In stripping a small fraction of the packing plastic around the fridge they dropped tiny pieces of plastic all over the floor and didnt clean it up. They left loads of plastic on the fridge, They didnt level the fridge. One door makes a ratcheting sound every time you close it. They said the space for the stove was too small for it and left it uninstalled. The countertop people easily installed it the next day. Overall your installers were incompetent and slovenly.Upon installing the hood, we found it to be defective, the fan hit the fan housing making a loud noise. I tried to return the hood and was refused because it was past your 90 day return policy. I explained the early purchase, lack of storage at your store and the recent installation but was denied ang given GEs phone number. Four weeks later, we still dont have a hood that works. GE sent out a repairman but he could not get the part needed. Ge sent another hood (same model) and it has the same problem. We are waiting for them to tell us what they will do next. We are worried about having no hood for Thanksgiving which we traditionally host for our family.So, the experience started very well but has not yet ended and it is very bad now.Four days ago, we got a Response from the owner, apologizing for the situation and ending in We want to ensure that youre taken care of. The 1-888 number they provided led to another automated customer service line. We did use it to schedule a repair/ adjustments of our new refrigerator, and hopefully those issues will be resolved. But, we still have a defective hood, without resolution at this point. The response from the owner seems a bit disingenuous.The experience has gotten worse.

The workers here are totally unhelpful.. I wanted a key to be made and nobody wanted to help me.. one guy only paged for someone to help me and took off when he couldve done it himself... I also spent like $200 on a vacuum and the worker is standing like right next to me at the self checkout.. like ok dude I work in retail also and I understand the whole shoplifting problem but you shouldnt make it super obvious like that when watching someone.. it made you look so dumb when I paid... Im only in paso for work and Ill be gone soon in a week so thank goodness since it seems like all workers here dont even care about their jobs and are only still employed since every business here is so short staffed and desperate... By the way, you guys should just remove the key making machine since you all have terrible customer service and have such a fit about helping customers with it... Glad Im not from this town..

This store is always clean and well organized. The knowledgable staff is really, really helpful and most kind. On Friday, December 9th, 2022 about 3:30 pm my Aunt and I went in and made a purchase. Upon leaving, my Aunt left her cane in the shopping cart. We got all the way home before realizing it. So, we drove back to the store to look for it. There was a young man outside gathering carts. I asked him if he had seen the cane. He said he saw it in a cart and told us the area where the cart was. We checked and it had already been taken. I told him we did not find it. This young man went into the store to locate the cane. In the meantime, I was standing at the Customer Service desk, waiting for the CSD associate to finish his phone call when a kind Associate (who was in the paint department at the time) saw me waiting. He then walked over to me and asked me what I needed. I told him the situation and he said he believed the cane was already found and given back to my Aunt. He said lets make sure and walked back to my car with me to confirm she got her cane back. Low and behold, there sat my Aunt with her cane already in hand. He kindly said he just wanted to make sure she got it back. The young man who we met earlier that was gathering the carts located the cane and walked it out to my Aunt who was waiting in the car!. How kind of him!I have not seen this level of excellence in Customer Service in years!! These two kind gentlemen took time out of their busy day to concern themselves with our situation. Nobody does that anymore! This kind act on their part has made me a Lowes customer for life! Lowes has proved to me that there is still a store that values their customers and is willing to show them some appreciation. I live 2 miles of another large hardware store. However, I will drive the 9+ miles to Lowes because I want to experience good old fashioned customer service from Associates that know the store and the products they represent and that expresses an appreciation for my shopping dollars. Keep up the excellent work Lowes! You have a team of SUPERB ASSOCIATES! THEY ARE A WINNING TEAM!

I frequently shop at Lowe’s and lose the quality they provide. But today when I was at the location Paso Robles, we had two employees treat us with disrespect as well as blame us for a mistake a different employee had done. We purchased bricks and were waiting 20 minutes with out ever seeing them. So we went into the store and asked in regards to where they are and the first employee argued and said we’ll go to customer service and we don’t know why you’re talking about. So we proceeded inside and asked a customer service gal and she then was being disrespectful to us due to another employees mistake of not notifying the other department. She also stated with a rude manner that we should have stayed in the other department to purchase the bricks rather than finishing our shopping and checking out at a different department. This visit sadly doesn’t represent what Lowe’s members typically are as well as how helpful. It is sad to see some who are rude.

Also very busy inside when asking for help, it depends on if you get lucky. Loading and pick up was fairly organized and helpful. Lots of parking and staging space in lot. My husband and I were shopping for pavers, retaining wall brick and flowers. Not only were all of the associates friendly, they were helpful.The gal at checkout had tips on how to help my lilies bloom longer and a trick to trap and kill earwigs (pincer/pincher bugs, to some).The selection of greenery, flowers and trees made it hard to choose but wonderful to wander aisle to aisle.The symphony of bird song made for a special treat though I know this is just a happy side effect and not provided for our pleasure by Lowes,☺️

I was assisted by Mark Ouano (kitchen cabinet specialist). He was very helpful and provided awesome ideas, suggestions, insights, information while designing our cabinets. Hands on and would show us cabinet styles and types in the show room which was very helpful. Has an excellent eye for designs. He is approachable and friendly. Highly recommend if your looking to update your kitchen, need new countertops, etc.

After going to the store only a few times over the years I moved 8 miles closer and decided to make this my new big box hardware store. I contracted with them to have my windows measured for window treatments on 14 windows in my new home. When I went in to order the blinds after having the measurements done no one knew how to place an order they told me that I would have to come back and make an appointment to come back because the order was too big. I made appointment and then went looking for two items which would have been in any hardware store and I was sent to four different locations because no one knew where they were.This is the last time I will go there. I took my window measurements from them and I’m going to take them to a Competitor further from my home but where I might be able to get competent service.

We frequent the Lowes in Paso Robles for the last 8 years, and lately we have noticed the customer service is severly compromised. We placed and order online and recieved a text saying the order was ready for pick up. When we got to the store, the order wasnt ready and there was no one in customer service. Granted we were there on a Sunday at 4:00 p.m. so maybe no managers? Then after waiting for our order to be filled, we tried to purchase a can of paint, no one in the paint area. Ugh. So I found a can in the missed color section for $2.50 and took it to the register. It kept ringing up as $16+ and the cashier couldnt override the amount. He called and the only person in the store that could override the amount was Ian. Ian was on a break and the cashier said I could wait about 5 minutes, seriously? No thanks and I left. We spend a large amount in Lowes and Home Depot and now I am thinking Home Depot may get more of our business. Totally Disappointed.

It was easy to find what we needed. And, we were quickly guided to find the one thing we werent sure of in the store. I really want to thank Lowes for supporting our Veterans. My daughter went to the Price Is Right taping for airing for Day before Veterans Day. All of the Vets and their co player received a $100.00 Lowes gift card. First time bring inside this Lowes—or even seeing it for that matter—and I have to admit, I was pretty impressed that such an enormous store could be so clean and well organized. Since its not even half the distance to Home Depot from our house as it is to Lowes, weve only ever shopped st Lowes a handful of times before and in comparison, I actually feel like in a lot of ways it was a more pleasant place to shop than Home Depot. At least compared to our local store (Seaside) which is dark, crowded a lot of the time, and known to regularly have an employee escort covertly follow you around the entire time youre shopping to prevent theft... Plus the prices even seem to be a bit lower in general! I will likely be giving Lowes more of my business in the future.

Craftsman tools are sold at Lowe’s with a lifetime guarantee. My Craftsman sockets were missing a divot to hold the sockets on. They don’t work. Lowe’s did not replace my sockets. Lowe’s gave me an 800 number to Craftsman. I spent hours on the phone and in email, and Craftsman has not even acknowledged me. Don’t be fooled. It’s not really a lifetime guarantee!

Saturday morning 9:45 at Lowes, the only check stand open is self checkout. I have lumber and misc items, no one to help me out but the self serve attendant which she has an attitude. Spend a little money staffing your store and not just on automation at checkout. You probable can automate the store manager and hire 5 more employees or he can help out on Saturday, probably the busiest day of the week.

Upon entering the store and asking Adriane in the Pro counter a quick question, I was ready to give this Lowes my lowest rating. I have never been so rudely treated by a customer service representative in any Lowes nationwide. Even her physical stance and mannerisms connote rudeness and disrespect. An overall angry disposition; someone better suited in a job capacity not interactive with customers. THEN I ran into Hallen and Don in the aisles who were exceptionally helpful, smiling, courteous and respectful. Through the checkout our cashier was smiling and courteous as well as two other employees passing by. Therefore, I give this Lowes an overall high rating.

I love that they have everything and anything you need for home repairs appliances and so forth. What I do not like is spending an hour trying to find exactly what I want or an employee to help me. It is so hard to get customer service in this store this is why I try to avoid the frustration and shop at the mom and pop hardware store down the street. Even though they are a little more pricey there is an employee always greeting you and immediately asks if he can help you.

I love Lowes. People that work there are nice and actually know what theyre talking about. Unlike the other place. I find awesome deals here all the time. They have a section with plants on clearance and I bought tons of the clearance plants in December. All (but 2 out of 30) are healthy and doing well! I live several minutes away and rather drive to Paso Lowes to get good customer service and good quality products.

Walked in stood in the electrical section Ss rat hung my head for 30 mins and the only thing anyone said to me was “hey bro we are about to close.” I go to pay for my uncertain selection attempting to use Apple Pay like any sensible person in 2022 and they only accept hard cards and cash. Today was our first and last time going to this Lowe’s. The Cashier was very rude and talked down to my husband and I when trying to check out in Self Checkout. I guess the card machines were having issues but there was no sign letting us know. Instead of politely letting us know, she was very rude. There was no reason for her attitude! I understand that times are tough but having an attitude like that is a choice and she chose to be rude and continue with her rudeness. We tried to tell the Head Cashier and got the same attitude. We will never be back!

Some employees are fabulous and will help you tremendously. I’ve found the appliance center area to be less helpful and had issues upon the delivery of appliances (I think we received 4 dented/deeply scratched refrigerators so they don’t look before delivery). With OSH gone, I wish the garden center had more variety; they sell a lot of veggies but so do Farm and Tractor Supply.

We are a pro customer of Lowes and the Orange Store. We shop at all the locations on the central coast for both companies. Service varies based on the people you talk to but Lowes in Paso Robles has been invariably courteous and helpful with everything from small purchases to pro orders of several thousand dollars. The pro desk at the Paso Robles store is second to none compared to all the other pro desks at all the other local home improvement stores. I have not been disappointed with the help weve received or the accuracy of my orders. Delivery has also been stellar. At some delivery locations I thought the delivery crew would have to drop the product at curbside and I would have to get it to the jobsite, but each time they worked with me and managed to get the product to the best location. This is the pro service one would expect and I sometimes drive the extra miles to go to the Paso Robles store rather than the Santa Maria store because the service is much better and the pro people know what they are doing. I think its because Ashley, the pro desk manager, expects the excellence she delivers from all her employees. Lowes in Paso Robles is my go-to store for pro jobs and my own honey-dos.

I wish I had seen the name tag of this employee (female, very short straight hair in a mans haircut, glasses) so I could post it publicly but I didnt. As I was leaving the self check out, she was talking to another employee and they were blocking the way to the exit. I stood waiting and she finally noticed me. She said to come on through between them, which would have put me less than a foot from both of them. I said I could wait, that I was doing my best to keep my 6 distance. Her response was to break out laughing and walk away shaking her head. So rude and ignorant. She is a terrible example for Lowes.

Very uninformed staff. Asked about when bare-root tree would be in stock, they told me that in three days (12/23/17 Friday) they would be there. Its hard to find an employee to ask for help and when you do they dont know where items are and their form of advice is reading the packaging.Go to Homedepot.

Kept asking employees where something was located. Answers were always I dont know, ask the cashier. I ask the cashier and the answer is, I dont know, ask customer serviceI had to use chat from in the store to get help.Thats so awful

Nothing is where it is supposed to be. Inventory is all off. Cashier got trigger happy and charged me for extra items.
