Just like any other home improvement store like the rest of Lowe’s in the USA. This store is located in Porterville, California and it has plenty of parking space. It is along the 198 Highway son it’s very easy to get on and off. A very clean store. The person who helped me at the self checkout was very helpful and patient. This is very helpful especially when buying items that don’t have barcodes such as individual bolts and nuts. These items need to be looked up in their computer. I am glad that this store has my favorite Craftsman Tools. Easy exchange of tools. For those who are looking for inexpensive paint, this Lowes has returned cans of paint that were purchased and returned. Who knows, you might find your color in here. Clean restrooms. Corridors are spacious and clean. I think the quality of their wood is better than other stores I’ve visited. The price on items are a bit higher, however, the quality is better. Best times to go are weekdays not in the mornings or evenings! 😁

Employee named Wendy gives attitude towards customer over a coworkers mistake.A family member picked up a curbside order but was given another persons order, as well. I decide to take it back. I arrive for them to count the items. Somehow I get scrutinized for bringing the order back myself & not having the original customer( my family member) who picked up the order bring it back.There was no hint of appreciation for bringing it back or an apology for causing us an inconvenience.

I do not recommend Porterville Lowes to anyone for purchasing doors and installation. Porterville Lowes management lacks communication skills and does not care about their customers. If any issues arise, they pass you on to a new employee or a different manager. Lowes hires unprofessional contractors that lack communication skills. September of 2022, I started Lowes process to special ordered Pella French Doors. The process took over a year due to what Lowes said was shipping delay as well as other issues throughout the process. Lowes employees failed to communicate with their contractor when the doors arrived, causing more delays. Their contractor lacked communication with Lowes personally and me the customer throughout the process. Lowes damaged multiple orders of trim and finally Lowes damaged the special-order Pella French Doors causing me over a year later, 9/26/2023, to cancel my order and get my money back. I still have no door installed due to Porterville Lowes’ lack of business skills and bad contractors that they choose to hire to complete their work.

This is a bigger Lowe’s than my home store Lowe’s they still have the back isle which I absolutely love getting those good clearance deals they also had a huge assortment of clearance plants as well in the garden section of the store they have a huge assortment of plants inside and outside the garden section with the biggest amount of fruit trees that I’ve seen at a store around this area yet!!

Lowes is a great store to get all your home improvement needs. I only rated this store a 3 because of the customer service, I don’t ever see employees asking their shoppers if their in need of help. And another thing is having the right employees in the right department who has knowledge in what the buyer looking for. They do have great deals on selected tools at times.

Great customer service from ever employee that i encountered. The prices are great and are clearly labeled on the shelf or rack. The store is very clean and well stocked with products. Their website lets you know what is available at your local store. The employees are friendly and very helpful. The staff will go out of way to help and are always close by. They even rent Penske moving trucks until 9 pm daily. A÷÷÷ Thank you for making a customer feel appreciated.

I walked in for help with soil the girl in the garden section up front told me to look for the guy with a sun hat well I found him so I ask for soil for a succulent but I needed a small bag he pointed to the big ones that were right next to us thats when I asked for the smaller ones he pointed to a wall all the way across the garden section said they should be there somewhere I have no idea where they are and I said I cant see that far I dont have my glasses and instead of taking the time to walk me over he then says instead well I dont have my glasses either and Im blind just go look at that point Im done with this store he was so rude was yelling at me on my way out of there ARE YOU KIDDING ME THEY ARE RIGHT THERE! but I ignored him and said Im going to Home Depot. My husband and I went to Lowes yesterday and were super impressed with this store! The first thing we noticed was how neat and organized everything was. We were there less than ten minutes and had four different associates ask if we needed anything. The person who checked us out looked in the ad to see if there were any additional coupons or discounts we could use. So impressed with the level of customer service!

I do not recommend the flooring department; I regret going here to Lowes for the that. I should of taken the hint the few times I went and was almost impossible to get help from anyone in that department. I bought flooring from them and had it installed out of the box many wood stalls showed defects and uses, fast-forward a week after installment my Lifetime warranty, waterproof flooring. My issue is we paid more for that flooring because of the promises the product made, even the salesman on the floor that day assured us that was the better flooring, I called the manufacturers and was told since my purchase was so new that the claim would have to be processed thru Lowe’s. So I went in to Lowe’s and was helped out by David, who I was told was the manager of the department, turns out our flooring is not waterproof like the own boxes states and it turns out the product isn’t all it promised it would be, so he told us it was no issue that they could help us, they told us we would have to remove that flooring and bring it back for a return. Seeing as we would be losing money on the installation we decide to proceed anyway, because who was wants to spend so much on a flooring that won’t even last past a week, right? Everything was smooth sailing after that, they even came out to measure and gave us an estimate for different flooring. They told us we would could proceed to schedule an installation after it was returned and difference was paid for, we had even made arrangements with my family. The next day I get a call from David, now stating to wait that they (the store) decided to file a claim with the manufacturers, mind you I only have 90 days to be able to do the process thru the store, meanwhile clock is ticking, it has now been a week later, I have no claim number no update. I feel this has all been a waste of time for my family and resources, I feel this store is now just trying lose time so they don’t have to deal with us. We will have lost all our hard earned money we put toward this flooring. Safe yourself if you are looking into flooring, due your research first and shop around. For someone who has their competition across the street this Lowe’s has no interest and helping their consumers.

This store has the best people who work there. The associates are easy to find should you have a question or looking for something.The people here are knowledgable about their product line and if they do not know they will ask someone else. Really good customer service.They have a lot of products and if they do not have it they can order it. They even help you with your items should you need help putting it in the car.Cant say enough good things about this place.

I been here many times and its just ok. Nothing bad to say but also nothing impressive. Ive waited a long time more then ones to be helped and the employees who tried helping me had no idea of what I needed. Ive also been here for a short moment when workers have came to ask if they are of help and have helped me on my need in no time. Lol so its a hit and miss. They have ok workers and great workers. Lol the store is clean and well stocked. Let me tell you!!!!!! Joel from appliances is hands down the mvp!!!!! He was able to get me my replacement dryer quick, at first they said it was 2 months out. So I’m like eh ok I guess. I decided to call and see if we can get it sooner, he told me let me see what I can do. He called me back and and was able to get it to me within a week and not 2 months!!!!!! Well done man!!!! We drove down from hot springs to grab a fan, we knew what we went. We arrived 8 minutes before closing( according to online times) we arrived and was told, sorry, were not allowing anyone in i get that people want to close and go home..Ive been there but, thats what store hours are for. should change store hours if you want to close earlier. I placed an online order for pick up and when we got to the store it wasnt ready. It took at least 20 minutes to find our order on the computer and fill it. The cart, with our order, was then pushed into the loading area without a word to us. We then had to load it ourselves without any assistance from the numerous staff seen collecting carts and such. At least four items were over 50 lb and we are over 60. We also saw another man struggling with heavy sheets of plywood too load them himself. If it is the policy of the store that their staff not assist loading orders then I apologize.

My husband and I needed a new washing machine and we went to 3 different places here, and Lowes was the only place that had all the machines we were looking at in stock ready to go! Same visit, two people in line at cash register in lumber section, then were told the register is now closed. And to proceed to other register. Waited in line at register for another 10 to 15 minutes. All this while holding on to a 1x5x6 board and a gallon of paint. Not to worry a kind associate helped me by bringing a cart. No such thing happened. NOBODY OFFERED TO HELP. SHAME ON YOU. It wasnt until outside I was offered help.

Went to buy air filters for my AC. As i was walking in I saw a plant that i couldnt resist. I didnt want to carry the plant thru the store, I will get it on the way out I said. Went to get the filter and on the way out I wanted to go get the plant. I was trying to get the cashiers attention to no avail, so i told the people in line, Im getting a plant. I proceeded to go get the plant with my airfilter in hand. Im not even out the door yet when the cashier is yelling at me EXCUSEME!!!. I have never felt so much shame in my life. For once I tried to get her attention and she ignored me, but was NOT too busy to yell at me and make me feel like a thief. My advise to lowes is to keep all your pretty plants locked inside the store and not have any outside.

Took 3 weeks to receive my flooring quote back. In the meantime i had already found a different company to measure, quote, order flooring and install before Lowe’s even called me back. I set up a delivery and never got it. Had to make a trip down there and stary all over. Set up another delivery for the next week. Guess what, ne ver got that one either. Another trip back down there set up yet another delivery. Got that one it only two weeks to get my material. Lowes is a nice store & I find it easier to find things at Lowes than at other home improvement stores. They put thought into how their inventory is arranged. You would think they all would but I havent found that to be the case at all of them.If your looking for a part for a faucet it will be near the new faucets. I like it when things are laid out logically, instead of trying to make you wander the store to find something in hope that you will end up buying more.

As big box stores go I like Lowes its my favorite if I have time, I say that because Porterville Lowes years ago, took out all the self serve checkouts and went to cashiers only and they let the lines become excessive they will not open more registers so if Im in a hurry I go across the street to Home Depot they have self checkouts Im in an out in a flash, really nice when you have a busted water pipe also Porterville Lowes has been getting dirtier the shelves are littered with open boxes and in somewhat disarray didnt used to be that way, the shelves will be out of stock but you can see more up in the overhead but you have to go find somebody (good luck) to get it down

Great situation at Lowes Home Improvement store today I went in I asked where five things were located because I did not have time to browse the cashier and another cashier within 2 minutes told me the five Isles they were on so I got in and out within 10or12 minutes and got everything I needed easy peasy
