Lindsey was absolutely essential in making our huge Celebration of Life party for my dad a joyful and memorable gift to all who loved him.With 90+ people in attendance, we organized a full 4 hour party with food, flowers, slideshows, speeches, continuous music, activity stations and photography throughout.Lindsey made this process SO much easier than if we had tried to do this on our own. She was instrumental in keeping us organized, was in regular communication with vendors on our behalf, and scheduled regular meetings with us to make sure nothing was ever missed.She was always efficient, generous with her time, gave helpful insights from her experience, and just in general was such a kind and present person for our family as we searched for how to best celebrate my dad.We are so grateful to Lindsey and couldnt recommend her more.

I was able to host a joyous and memorable Celebration of Life for my late husband with the very capable skills and support of Lindsey Nickel of Lovely Day Legacies. Working with a professional event planner is a must, especially with a potential guest list as large as ours was (~250 guests). There are so many personal details to consider and they can be easy to overlook without the help of an organized and efficient planning group such as Lovely Day Legacies. And I very much appreciated all of the excellent recommended vendors! Lindseys referrals saved me the time and effort of researching qualified vendors on my own, and everyone -- from catering, flowers, graphic design, audio-visual/DJ services, signage art, and photography -- gave me the added confidence of having worked on Celebrations of Life with many other clients, and supporting the wishes and vision of the family. I did not have to worry about their ability to deliver, because they absolutely did, and far beyond my expectations! It is absolutely an investment, but well worth it.

I was so happy to have Lindseys expertise and energy supporting the luncheon we held to celebrate my mom after she passed away. She thought of every detail in advance, had good relationships with trusted vendors, and was on-site making sure everything went smoothly on the day-of. From the first site visit, she (unlike me) was alert to the fact that power at our chosen venue was unreliable, and made sure we had a back-up plan. Sure enough, the power was out for 10 hours the day before our event, which would have been very stressful if we hadnt known we could still pull it off! I highly recommend Lindsey and Lovely Day Legacies for anyone planning a Celebration of Life.

Retained lovely day legacies and Lindsey to help plan and support a celebration of life for my wife. This promised to be a stressful and emotional day for our family. We retained Lindsey to reduce the burden on the family to plan and implement the eventFirst, the event was a well attended and successful one. We occupied a beautiful room at the Claremont Hotel and there were over 80 attendees. Lindsey took care of the following : room plan and layout, catering, flowers, linens, videography, signage, memory table, table setting. She assisted with set up and breakdown of the event. She managed the schedule and kept us on track through coordination leading up to the event. Her attention to detail is impeccable and her ability to relate to our needs was very responsive. She handled last minute issues and changes with grace and understanding.Lindsey is a professional who knows her business; and in our experience, she delivered more than promised and much more than anticipated.I unequivocally recommend and endorse Lovely Day Legacies and Lindsey for your events You will be pleased with the result

The recent Celebration of Life held for my wife was a really wonderful afternoon of reminiscing and connection with over one hundred people who were special for her. It would not have been successful without the outstanding guidance and coordination provided by Lindsey Nickel of Lovely Day Legacies. Lindsey pointed me to top-notch providers for services to complement the location and caterer I had chosen and made sure every aspect was attended to and delivered on time for the event. She is very well organized and kept all the moving parts in synch, much like the conductor of a finely tuned orchestra.So many attendees mentioned how the celebration clearly carried a sense of being well organized, smooth-running and totally in control from beginning to end -- With all the right touches to make it feel really special. Lindsey helped me plan my younger brothers celebration of life - one of the most difficult tasks one can imagine. She was excellent all throughout the process! She kept me on track and organized, and was easy to communicate with. She was a huge help when I needed someone to bounce ideas off of and had great recommendations for vendors.
