This library is lovely and has many great collections and programs. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The back room with fireplace is quite cozy. I have been to many local libraries in Santa Clara and Alameda counties and found LG location noisiest, occasionally having rowdy children. I do wish parents with young children be more mindful of the noise their children make.

Overall good, minus the liberal indoctrination. Took my kid to the BABY section, and there are books teaching them that their pronouns can be Xe / Ze /Zie / They / whatever your imagination can hold. Why do you feel the need to create gender identity issues with young children?

Really pleasant experience!The space itself is incredibly open with many windows that give view to a peaceful street and tree-filled mountain. However, despite the openness, the setup still leaves you with privacy in order to do work in peace. Nice window seating, and nice outdoor space too (WiFi works great outside).Overall, 10/10! Great location, setup, and features!

A little bit small. The parking lot is not enough. Afternoon it is a little bit noisy. There are too many children.

Beautiful small library with a kid-friendly area on the first floor. Havent tried this yet but it looks like you can rent out all sorts of games like puzzles and crafts.Upstairs there is a tech lab, which is a conference area and there are plenty of spots to sit and read. Located near downtown. They have their own small parking area.

Very pretty library but they dont uphold library silence. Students from the school across the street flood the rooms and use this place as a hang out spot. They yell, run, and play music. Not a very good place to study

Excellent place to study! They have special areas such as quiet areas specifically catered to people who are looking for an ambient, peaceful atmosphere to be productive or relax :). Furthermore, there’s also spaces such as a “teen room” and a children’s area so that kids can be a little more “free” and it’s great because it’s less distracting! The views of the trees are especially gorgeous during rainy weather and compliments the essence of a library. I highly recommend! +very spacious and wide variety of literature.

Beautiful library with quality books. Everything is well taken care of. You can tell that a lot of thought and care goes into this place and the services offered. Nice little garden and cubby-like places for kids to sit in and read. The restrooms are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful.The friends of the library books are also in great shape or new! Will definitely be back.

My family visits this library every week. They are well-stocked with materials and the librarians are generally very helpful (we love Rachel). There are tons of computers, so its easy to find open ones. Theres also a lot of seating, if youd like to stay a while. The kids area is fantastic and even includes a small outdoor patio. Its really a wonderful place.

I love coming here because its peaceful and I can get all of my remote work done without distraction. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I appreciate them having a bookstore next door. Today there were bands playing on the grass due to the art and wine festival. Lately, since they replaced the computers with laptops, its been quieter than its ever been

Very good library. Spacious and clean. Helpful staff. Most patrons are very polite. Between 1230-130 ish and after 230 the Los Gatos High kids come in and some of them can be very loud. Super fast internet even works out in the parking lot if you want to sit outside or in your car and stream.

Ive been going here on a regular basis for almost a year now and it is the best library I have ever been to. If you forget anything like a charger or headphones they even have spares they can lend to you. Very quiet clean environment with lots of natural light.

Beautiful library but unfortunate design as one screaming kid can destroy the silence of the entire building, including in the reading area on the second floor. They need to glass in the kids’ area downstairs

Best LibraryClean, peaceful, library is a library and not a homeless shelter...sorry, politically incorrect to say that but more and more libraries are turning librarians into social workers/security guards. Nice place to pickup reading materials and dvds.

I have been in a lot of public libraries, and this is my favorite. Nicely laid out. Cozy feel. Many youth services. Teen study and work rooms for the students from across the street.

Wonderful community resource. Contemporary building with well defined areas for a variety of activities. Empathetic staff keep it mellow and welcoming. Parking is easy in two lots and on the street.

WHAT a space! Amazing resources, fast WiFi. Parking is limited, but Los Gatos is pretty walkable.I led a family music event this morning with the help of the childrens librarians, and they were AWESOME. Cant wait to be back.

This Library is so much fun. The kids section has a play area and there are work areas upstairs that are good for reading or working. There are also reservable work area upstairs.

First time to be here! Im quite impressed by their modern and artistic renovation as well as new computers for children. Library staff are also doing their jobs accordingly. Its just a little noisy in he childrens area if u want to conduct a homework session there. And therere no foreign language books like in other nearby libraries.

A beautiful facility that stands in the shadows of the former library that housed a quirky basement design -- miss it a bit. The new, is just that. Well designed with welcoming reading room that mimics a home-like setting with comfortable club chairs and gas fireplace, along with extensive selection of magazines, periodicals and newspapers. Available computers are terrific -- especially if ones own is unvailable. Can and do spend hours at a time investigating the various media. Has an outstanding childrens reading room. Would welcome a larger and varied beverage station. Staff is terrific.

It is a very nice library! Checked it on Sunday, still there was available space in parking and to sit in the library. Also, you can walk a little and have access to lots of cafes in nearby downtown.

We visited the Los Gatos Library for story time. They have story time for preschool aged kids every Tuesday at 1030am. At first I wasnt sure the time was correct as the library doesnt actually open until 11am but upon arrival I saw a sign on the front door that said to enter along the right side of the building, through the garden for story time. Story time lasts from 1030-11am and includes the reading of several books PLUS singing and dancing! Which must be why they do it before the library actually opens. Be sure to come check it out.

Library is mostly about quite zone. People and employees talking loud downstairs and you can hear their conversation upstairs. You can easily get distracted by their loud conversations.
