Back in Cali, visiting home for few days. Great impromptu Thursday lunch. No wait, plenty of parking across the street.California Mexican food is the best! My burrito was delicious, full of flavors and right size. Kids loved their churros.Service could improve a little as kids had to wait for a long time for their kids meals. Instead of chicken nuggets, they got the. Cheeseburger so it had to be re-done. Server did apologize and offered comp churros for kids.Also water refills got to be better.But all and all - solid 4+

I finally decided to give this place a try and I was disappointed. I sat outside on the patio during lunch and things started off well with their complimentary chips and salsa and bean dip - all which were great. The problem came when I ordered my main food. Whenever I go to a new place I like to try a bit of everything so I ordered the COMBO#5 w/Enchilada, Chile Relleno & crispy (beef) Taco. What I got was some of the worst tasting Mexican food I’ve had since moving to LA. The sauces for both the enchilada and the chile relleno were inedible and the crispy beef taco was void of any flavor. I’m usually a fan of sweet corn mash at restaurants but I made a terrible mistake ordering it here - I don’t know how corn could taste like uncooked cake batter. Skip this place - there is so much better Mexican food available in the area. Almost any street vendor has food with better flavor.TLDR - GOOD (chips and salsa and bean dip)BAD - the enchilada, Chile relleno, crispy beef taco, corn mash

The food was good and tasted like a real Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was awesome, and there were lots of locals. Great place to hang out and get a beer. Down side, we had to wait longer than usual to order.

Really good Mexican restaurant! Glad I came by, the food was great and the staff was super friendly. I normally dont see Enchiladas con Mole at other places so I was surprised when I saw it here and had to order it. Will definitely be back.

If you find yourself dining in, you will not be disappointed. However, if you order takeout, prepare yourself for a potential wait to be acknowledged by the wait staff. The food is worth the it, but waiting 3-5 minutes at the podium when there are no other customers is less than ideal. On the whole, I would still highly recommend Los Amigos.

This place has some of the best guacamole Ive had in a long time, great service and really good food I keep coming back cuz its so delicious parking is pretty easy out front and with the current situation we had to eat on the patio which was great. Except for the loud talking lady.The mole is amazing, I havent tasted better in a while. Its got a very nice chocolatey semi-sweet flavor to it, we got mole enchiladas and they are so good! I really dig this place!

My husband and I went to this restaurant for the first time on Our wedding anniversary day, it was fantastic the delicious food and drinks, employees are welcoming and friendly, the environment was fantastic, we want to thanks for the great services and also special thanks to the guy who serve the drinks, ( Alberto, I hope I spell his name correctly) he’s so fun! Wow! So delicious!! I ordered the chicken and flautas and a salad. The salad was bright and refreshing. With the best dressing and fresh avocado. And of course, my favorite, flautas!! Really good place. Bartender was friendly as well as the locals sitting at the bar. Margaritas are very good with real lime juice. Chili relleno is tasty and slightly spicy. Red enchilada sauce is darker the normal and very rich; super tasty. House salsa has a little spice to it too. Parking lot across the street.

First time here and it was pretty good! Went with some friends for their last night here in Los Angeles and I was impressed!First-The location is a decent sized restaurant with outdoor and indoor seating that’s comfortable and spaced good. I didn’t see a parking lot so we had to do street parking which wasn’t hard to find right down the streetSecond-The food was pretty good. They have a good happy hour margarita for only $5 and it was strong and good! For food I got the carnitas burrito wet with Chile Verde on it and a tomatillo soup. It was so good for a windy night! The prices and the quality of food is worth stopping in. Definitely a good recommendation

We came here for a late lunch. We liked the outdoor seating. The free chips salsa and bean dip were great. One of the few places that had bean dip. The bean dip was delicious. We definitely had refills of the chips, salsa and bean dip. I had the burrito de carne asada. The burrito was wet covered with cheese. Next to the burrito were mexican rice, salsa, gaucamole and sour cream. I would say the burrito tasted good similar to a chain mexican restaurant but a tad bit better. My friend had the steak and shrimp. The shrimp tasted great. Staff is friendly. They have a parking lot across the street.

Excellent Mexican restaurant location. Had a late lunch with our union board. Very comfortable atmosphere on this quite part of the day. The food and service was exceptional. Our waiter continued to keep our soft drinks, chips and salsa filled. Our plates were a sizable portions. TV screens around the bar area. Great place for meetings, family and friends.

Every time i go here, i have always had such a great experience. Unfortunately, this time when i went, it wasnt great at all. I ordered the Plato de Fiesta appetizer & everything was great until i started eating nachos & there was a huge piece of plastic i was chewing on, thinking it was cheese. They did offer to give us another new one, which i did take, but when the waiter came with it, i went to grab the plate because my toddler was sitting next to me & there wasnt room for the palte at that very moment the waiter tried to set it down & he had no problem lettung me grab the plate not advising me it was SUPER HOT. I burned my hands & told him omg that was hot! His response was, What, hot, meh, come on, its not hot. I had literally burned my finger from it & a moment later, i had to ask for some ice for my finger. I let my other son finish his food & then asked for the check to get out of there. I was so mad already from the experience that i forgot to ask for the manager before heading out the door. I didnt appreciate the waiters response when i burned my hand. It was like he didnt care because i had just complained about the plastic in my food. But, if it had been my toddler finding that, that wouldve been a whole different situation.

So glad we came here. The food was incredible. I got the fajita chicken salad bowl which was assembled in front of me, and Cruzs margarita which was well worth the money. My salad tasted incredible and the margarita was hefty and got the job done 😉 To top it all off the staff was very sweet and friendly. I couldnt recommend this enough.

Surprisingly average Mexican American restaurant.The menu is your typical Mexican American cuisine affair. The catchy dated atmosphere mirrors the dishes served. Flavors are on the bland side and maybe a hair under seasoned, but this is far better than overly seasoned and pretentious.The drinks are also surprisingly average. There is a happy hour pricing option, but be aware they may be for what they consider house drinks. The made-to-order table Guacamole is excellent, but also felt under seasoned. Medium spicy is really not very spicy.Friday and Saturday evenings are filled with karaoke fans, so ask for outdoor seating if you dont need the bombardment.The staff is exceptionally friendly and the service is very good. Los Amigos is a good value Mexican American restaurant. Most Entrees are priced under $20

Everything was really good and if they just had handmade tortillas, I would give 5 stars. The spicy bean dip was a nice surprise to a company the chips and salsa. The molcojete was great, although I wasnt too big of a fan of the salsa they down the meats, cheese, avocado and nopales with. Be careful, it is hot. Let it cool down before digging in.

I used to have a 5-star here but had this bad experience today. I bit into a few sharp, wooden shards in my first bite of taco. I checked out the rest of it and there was no more. I was hungry so was careful & kept eating it; the rest was fine. I didnt want to complain, wondering if anything else bad would end up in the food. Glad Im a slow eater, otherwise these wouldve gotten stuck in my throat. Dont want to go back though. 😞

This is legit one of my favorite spots when it comes to Mexican food. The food is always super tasty, they have plenty of options to choose from, and if they had more than 1 mole, i would probably be spending twice as much time there. One of my go to places right around the corner for happy hour. My last experience wasnt pleasant because of the terrible manager. We ordered specific tequila and got served something else. After mentioning it, the manager intimidated his own staff by going through all video cameras. He didnt show us the videos and told us to pay and leave. I like the place and all the staff is awesome, but the manager seems to be a nightmare. Accident or not to serve cheap tequila, thats not how you treat customers.

This place is a gem! Stopped through on our way out of North Hollywood and super glad we did! From the time we walked in we were greeted and sat! Considering it was at noon and quite busy I was impressed. Server was amazing and on top of all of her tables! Did not have to ask for anything! Food was amazing and very reasonable on price! Food was brought out within 7 minutes of sitting down! Hot and fresh! Ranchero sauce on the enchiladas was the best Ive ever had! We do alot of traveling all the way to New York to Florida and all over California and this was the best mexican food I have had! Highly reccomend. Will be going back when we travel through again!

The Chili verde burrito was a big disappointment. It was more refried beans than pork. The few chunks of pork were tender and flavorful. My wifes BBQ chicken salad was overwhelmed with sauce. She couldnt even finish. We had to wait an extra 20+ minutes because they gave our takeaway order to someone else. My son likes this place but I wont be back.

This place used to be our favorite neighborhood place for happy hour. We live 2 minutes walking from here. Unfortunately we had a really weird experience the last time we went. It was Taco Tuesday, so we ordered tacos, a few drinks and a round of shots of Casamigos, our favorite tequila. The night was wrapping up so we ordered one last round of shots of Casamigos, however, once we tasted them, it was very obvious that this round was not Casamigos. We politely mentioned it to our server. He reassured us that it was in fact Casamigos. We honestly didn’t believe it was. The second round of shots tasted completely different (disgusting). So our server brought out the manager. As someone who worked in the service industry for years, I thought his way of handling this situation was completely unprofessional. The manager was immediately defensive, bringing out their liquor license and arguing with us that we were wrong. He said he could even prove it by looking at the security cameras. He took a very long time in the back trying to “recover the camera footage.” My husband and brother in law ended up staying nearly an hour there waiting/arguing with the manager. After no resolution and a lot of frustration, my brother in law ended up paying the whole bill. The whole experience was really weird. We’re sad to say we will never go back.

The servers were very attentive and helpful. We were all vegetarians so they made to double check everything we ordered while also letting us know what food to order in the future to make sure it doesnt have lard!They checked up on us multiple times throughout and were really nice. Food that weve had, has been great. Drinks taste like syrup but if you havent eaten all day, you can get a very small buzz after about two of them. I tried two to see if there was a difference, sadly, the second one, a completely different drink, also tasted like syrup. But weve been back several times for the food, its great! The drinks are the only reason for four stars and not five. Even the agua frescas taste watered down. Service is great as well.

Mediocre Mexican but cheap price. We ordered it for delivery because it was late at night after most restaurants had closed and other places near us were outrageously expensive. Don’t go here if you’re expecting amazing and authentic Mexican, but it is good if you want something tasty and filling at a cheap price. Our server never refilled our waters, as we had to ask 3 times to please refill our water. Our mouths were burning. After the 3rd time asking, he finally gave it to us, shook his head & ran away. He forgot to give us extra napkins & he said that we could only have 1 basket of chips. No refills on the chips. I didnt know we had to pay for chips. For 2 people the bill was almost 60 dollars. I wonder if I would have liked this place. Waited to be greeted and sat for so long then Asked for help and the worker didn’t seem to understand how seating worked. I said how longs the wait he didn’t know I asked if we are Supposed to seat ourselves and he literally responded “I don’t know what’s happening tonight.” This is the person at the front desk telling me he doesn’t know if we can sit when we can sit or how seating even works. Cruz gave us a warm welcome and chatted about our options as we waited for a table on a very busy Friday night. Mario was an extremely attentive server and happy to discuss the benefits of each menu choice we considered. Despite the crowd, we received plenty of attention from the staff, and both Cruz and Mario checked in to see how we liked the meal and invited us to return. We were first-time visitors, but we were treated as honored guests. The food was quite good -- both my beef tamale and chicken enchilada verde definitely had a kick, as did my husbands steak tacos. Our child enjoyed his two beef tacos as soon as he picked off the lettuce and tomatoes (although he liked lettuce two weeks ago), and I loved the sweet corn cake that finished the meal. The guacamole was FABULOUS. I saw the table next to us get what looked like ultimate nachos and now I want to return to try them. Kudos to the staff for really outdoing themselves. Note: Street parking was difficult to find, so we parked a block away and walked back -- but we missed the dedicated Los Amigos lot across the street. The one drawback to our experience was the foul-mouthed young man seated next to us. He was a loud talker who dropped repeated F-bombs despite the small child (ours) seated six feet away. Thats not the restaurants fault, but it definitely detracted from our experience in what was otherwise a family-friendly spot.

This place is awesome. I have this issue with finding consistently good Mexican food restaurants. So I just quit trying to find other places and keep on going to this one. Super nice staff. Always an attentive, friendly waiter, great food quality. They also have a really nice full bar. My personal favorite is their Carne Asada. Definitely give that a shot. One thing I will say is that if you are sensitive to loud noises, you should check and see what days theyre having live entertainment because they had something going on a couple times we were there. That didnt really take away from the experience. We just sat outside. 5/5 stars from me.

Calamari was NOT good but the tamales were an 8 out of 10. Short staffed but very pleasant. Easy atmosphere to relax and be yourself while enjoying good margaritas. I will be back.

The staff is extremely friendly, the food is quite good and the prices most reasonable. Only problem I had was the karaoke....it was hi-jacked by a group of young teen girls....ruined the evening for my friends and me. Should be an age limit for this sort of thing.

Elida attended us very well. I definitely had a great experience and would recommend this place on costumer service alone. The food is a whole other thing i can recommend. Great flautas the dish was very satisfying and had great flavor.

Food was decent..quantity was smaller than I expected. Couldve used a little more spice. Happy hour was jumping and they offer margaritas w house tequila for $5 during that time.

Been going since it was Michaels. Great food, affordable drinks (for Burbank, anyway) and Karaoke is a blast! Regular customer, and could not recommend more highly.
