Nikki is always there for questions. Front desk was busy redirecting calls to your other location politely and kindly. One person came in without an appt and they took the time to find her one that day. You guys are always busy but not too so to help with all that office needs.

I can always trust Josue at Lopez Tax Service to prepare my taxes properly, regardless of how complex they may get (and they do get rather complex).He has always been courteous, professional, and direct.And the new online appointment option has made life even easier! I no longer have to drive to the location.I can just scan my documents, and have a remote session with him to have my taxes done.Its so easy and convenient!

If time is of the essence for you, I do not recommend you go here. I had an appointment made for 7pm on a Monday. Knowing how busy tax preparers are during this time of the year, I chose to be respectful of their busy schedules and showed up a few minutes early as to not cause any delays. Once there, they couldn’t care less about my own time. I was not helped until 7:40. At that point, her 7:30 and 8:00 appointments were also waiting in the lobby with me. I just don’t think they should schedule appointments that they cannot keep.

Have always used Lopez Tax Services notary. The ladies who assisted us were thorough & careful. Our recent visit was the opposite & due to the error by the notary, his mistake cost us $3800. Lesson learned: since the notary did not check his work thoroughly, be sure you do. We did not notice his failure to change his templates date which had an earlier date (we actually signed on a date several days after his notary date on the form he gave us; the people who caught the error were the ones who received & rejected our document with his incorrectly dated notary form attached😡. When we went back to Lopez with the documents, he could not figure out the problem. We had to explain his error to him.)

Absolute Best place to get your taxes done! I have used Lopez Tax Service for 20 yrs and not once have the screwed up my taxes. I cant say that about H & R Block, they are HORRIBLE and they charge WAY TOO MUCH. Lopez Tax Service is the BEST!!!

Niki Young has been processing my taxes at Lopez Tax Service for many years and I am confident in his tax accounting abilitiesi am unfortunately not happy that he had to tell me that my tax prep fees went up from $240 to $310; a $70 increase with no notification from Lopez Tax by email or mail. Inflation is in, but this is quite a big jump. would have really appreciated a notificationNiki was very honest about the increase; he should be supported by Lopez Tax communication to its clients.

I was referred to Lopez Tax service through a Friend and again by a Family member because my taxes were an absolute mess.I was so far out of whack I didnt think anyone could help me out. I was wrong, my Friend and my Aunt were right. Lopez Tax Service (I went to the Salinas Branch, off Laurel Drive) totally bailed me out and did it with a pretty good price. They did so well that I made them MY Regular, Annual Tax people. Thanks to them I was able to set up a payment plan with the Government that is helping me rebuild a credit line. Its just nice to not have to worry about Whos Calling (Bugging) me NOW!! When my cell phone rings.If you have been there you know that feeling, you know what Im talking about.Guess they call it TAX RELIEF for a Reason.They also have a greatTEAM there so it really doesnt matter who you go to.Oh!! And Please DO NOT JUDGE LOPEZ TAX, or ANY Other Company in that Shopping Center based on the Outside of the Buildings or how the Parking Lot looks, Hopefully the Shopping Centers Owners clean it up real soon, even a Good Power Washing and a Fresh Pain Job on the Parking spots might do the trick?Again though, LOPEZ TAX SERVICE... I have been using this service for nearly 20 years and was disappointed with the cost of the service this year. We had already had an increase in fees last year of $125 and were told it was because we added a small business for 2020. For 2021, we discontinued that small business and were charged an additional $100 to prepare our taxes. This equals a 45% increase in fees in 2 years. We will not be returning for our 2022 tax service, which we are sad to inform you of.

Went in early as a walk in as soon as the doors opened. I was told they had nothing for walk ins at the time even though there were no customers yet. Made an appointment for the following day and waited over an hour. Really disappointed in their urgency. Why have appointment if your not going to be seen on time? Ive been coming here for over 20 years and I wont be coming back.

They charge you $20 to print old tax returns and refuse to give you a digital copy. Its 2016 this is crazy.Nice people, quick work, completely outrageous prices. I always do my taxes myself as theyre pretty straight forward.A $40-$60 tax return turned into $230 cost all because they helped with a 1099-MISC. Basically they had to input information onto an extra screen so that had an additional $180-$200 cost. Completely ridiculous. There was one question I could not figure out on my taxes which is why I went here, the amount I got was the same as them.If you want to save money, do it yourself. Its not that hard.
