06/04/2024 Update to Original Review:Its been 7 months and I needed them to look at the car. Had all the fluids changed and a new battery installed. Alex and LB Mini were very professional and easy to talk with. Dropped it off at 7 and picked it up back about noon. Really feel comfortable with the staff. Keep up the great work.11/25/2023Wanted to get an assessment of how my newly aquired mini (2018) was. Josh and David took care of me on Saturday morning. Gave me a complete description of what was going to be accomplished and a rough estimate of cost. Had a loaner car waiting and treated me fantastic. Fixed the few problems and answered and explained all my questions. I feel realm comfortable with this dealership. Oh I bought the mini from another used car dealership, and they still treated me like family!

I really enjoy coming to Long Beach BMW for all my services needs. The staffs are amazing and professional. This time around I was able to work with Gilbert in the service center. My car was due for maintenance he got back to me what my services were needed on my car and we were able to move forward quickly. Issues were resolved quickly and I got my car back in less than 24 hours. Many occasions I’m also greeted and helped by John in the loaners/service dept. John is very nice and courteous he always goes out his way make you feel welcome. Thank you and keep up the great work. You’re the best.

Everything went great! Once I was there, Alex who is very friendly helped me out. He answered all my questions sincerely. I dropped off the car for oil change and it was quickly done. And I even got a free car wash, all within 1.5hrs! When I went to pick up the car I had couple more questions. Alex wasnt around so Javier ended up helping me. Again, he was very friendly and was able to explain things concisely. Everyone was very helpful and I had a wonderful experience with them. Id definitely recommend to others and will return for next time.

Steve has been my service rep for at least a decade. He just relocated to Long Beach BMW so it was my first time visiting the dealership. I live in in the north-east foothills of the San Fernando Valley. This fact alone should tell you that Steve is so excellent at what he does, I’m willing to suffer the drive! Everyone was friendly, and most of all my Steve appeared to be so much happier than he was at the prior dealership. Everyone had a smile one their face. That tells me if LB BMW employees are treated right, their customers will be too. They definitely didn’t disappoint. I’m very pleased with my experience and interactions with the loaner rep and cashiers as well. As long as Steve is at LB BMW I’ll continue to be a customer. Without a doubt Steve makes sure I receive first class service every single time!

The process over there at mini/bmw long Beach is fantastic! I had my car inspected for a oil change surprisingly they are going a promo right now 225$ prepaid for 3 year of oil change! That was a great promo! Was asked for a loaner car at free of charge and the process of having an loaner car is incredibly fast! Went home and the next morning had a text saying car is ready, went back and the process is super quick and straightforward with everything even asked for my permission whatever to fix or not. That something we love to know being in the room with them! That something I want to come again for next maintenance visit! Alex is so super friendly and very well knowledgeable about minis! My service was great the service writer she listen to and listed all my concerns about my car,s issues. I was happily surprised that the starter had to be replaced but was covered under warranty. My software was also updated at under warranty. The car was ready the next day. I was very glad I decided to take the car into the dealer instead of somewheres else.

Long Beach BMW is an excellent service center. All the service advisors who have assisted me with my car have been very knowledgeable, friendly, & accommodating. My current advisor is Miguel Torres. He was previously the mechanic who serviced my car before he became an advisor. He continues to be very professional & has been very helpful whenever I bring my car in for any type of service or issue. Ronnie Flores was the mechanic who recently worked on my car. He, too, is excellent & very knowledgeable. Together, Miguel & Ronnie showed me what why my car was out of alignment & gave me the options for repair & repaired it promptly. My car was washed & returned to me clean & promptly. I have confidence & trust in Long Beach BMW & will continue to have my car serviced there.

Miguel Torres, my Service Advisor, went above and beyond to help me with a service issue that arose on a day I was moving. He assisted me after hours to take my car in, when my tow trick was late to tow my vehicle to dealership, listened to issues I was having, helped me process discounts and warranties available, and kept me in the loop along the way. Excellent service with my service advisor, and achieved my service appointment more quickly than expected. However, when I got in my car to drive it off the service completion area, there were warning lights for low tire pressure on my front two tires that weren’t there when I brought the car in for service, so when I got home, I had to fill my front tires up with air. I think that’s something they should’ve addressed before they gave me the car.

Another great visit to BMW in Long Beach. Miguel got me in and out with expert precision. Got my front breaks and rotors replaced and break fluid flushed. Miguel Torres! Is the absolute best!!! I had an outstanding customer service experience thanks to Miguel at Long Beach BMW. I live only 5 minutes away from the Norwalk BMW McKenna dealer but have always experienced problems and poor customer service. I’d rather drive 30 minutes to Long Beach to receive exceptional service! Miguel was honest and understood all my car needs, he kept me updated on my car progress and wasn’t pushy on what needed to be done. Overall I rate Long Beach BMW a 10! Miguel, the service advisor was excellent. He went out of his way to make sure that our X6 was serviced properly. The only issue I have is with the warranty department. We purchased a Wheel and Tire Replacement Package; however it appears that the approval department is not honoring that warranty. This if course is not Miguels fault. So overall 👍👍 to Miguel.

Went in for oil change. Advisor recommended alignment and 4 new tires. I agreed. Requested to use two online specials, which was advisor agreed. Was offered car wash, which I accepted. When I went to pickup car, both coupons were not honored (only 1 can be used) and car was not washed. Also, all rims were extremely dirty with a white gel like substance all around the rims/tires that was not cleaned. Text the advisor after I noticed all this at home the next day and was ignored. Not the quality of service I expect from BMW Long Beach. Super disappointed.

The service advisor Brian White was friendly, knowledgeable, communicative and very easy to work with. My vehicle(a Mini) was repaired promptly. Picking up the vehicle was just as easy. Mayte was extremely helpful and friendly. I was also impressed that the cost of having my brakes repaired was competitive with other auto mechanics prices. The only thing I was unhappy about was finding out that only 2 of my tires were new when I purchased the car because I was told that all 4 were new but this obviously was a sales issue and not the repair department.

I recently visited Long Beach BMW Service center after receiving a brake service alert notification on my MINIs infotainment system. I had the pleasure of having Joshua as my Mini Service Advisor. Him and the team were incredibly attentive and took the time to thoroughly explain the process and any issues that were found. It turned out to be a break sensor problem, along with a need for a brake fluid flush. Joshua was extremely friendly and professional, and took time to explaining everything in detail. I never felt rushed despite there being a long line of cars behind me waiting for their service too.Since their shuttle doesnt operate over the weekend, they kindly paid for my Lyft ride home! Joshua made sure to inform me that they prioritize meeting the wait time estimates for customers that choose to remain in the waiting area over those who choose to wait at home. I was okay with that and took the Lyft ride home. Joshua called me and provided an update about the service while I was home and to let me know when I could pick up my MINI. I felt the service was prompt and efficient.My car is now running smoothly, and I feel confident in the quality of their work. Went for tires and alignment. The car would not align and the technicians identified a compressor that was not working and got it covered under warranty. Friendly service advisor with good communication and even a video message from the technician at the end of the service. If you need dealership service, I recommend Long Beach BMW over South Bay. I’ll never go to South Bay again. Terrible manager who charged me $200 for a cabin filter ($15 part that takes minutes to install) and called it by some alternative weird name instead of what it was. Long Beach was up front and honest about everything. Go to Long Beach if you need BMW service and live in the South Bay.

Long Beach BMW came through for me. I was so worried about my 3x. It seemed to have electrical issues. It would turn itself off and go into park. Finally it wouldn’t even start. Go a jump from AAA, but after driving an hour on 405, it soon soon died at a stop. Turns out just main battery, second auxiliary was keeping lights on. No damage done, they reprogrammed car, did the tests and my car has a clean bill of health. May Villalobos kept me calm after 3 AAA attempts to tow me to dealer, and I finally arrived 30 minutes before service center closed.

My 640i was towed in at 7pm after breaking down on freeway Friday night traffic. I live 40 miles from LB and was extremely stressed about leaving my car somewhere I was not familiar. Service Advisor Miguel Torres was off and leaving, yet when he saw the tow truck off loading my vehicle he stayed to get me checked in for service on Monday morning. He was incredible and helped relieve my stress with his professionalism and calm demeanor. He even gave me a ride to car rental location. He followed up on Monday with diagnostics report and provided photos and a written report. Never pushy or ‘salesman’ style creepy. He was kind and response without being pushy. The car was ready and clean when promised. He was again helpful and kind in delivering my car upon arrival. If/when I buy my next BMW, I will return to Long Beach BMW, even though I don’t live in the area, simply because of Miguel. Thanks LBBMW!

Exceptional service. Kim went above and beyond and deserves a raise. I went in because of a check engine light. She presented incredibly welcoming, friendly and professional. The delivery for my wheel replacement was delayed an extra day. She kept me up to speed every step of the way: set me up with voucher to get ride to and from home, during the delay she did a last minute request for me to rent via Enterprise near by.Spoiler alert:I was able to rent the X7!Kim made the process so smooth even with the last minute pivots in delays.

My experience wasn’t to good. I had an oil change and the next morning I woke up to oil all over my driveway had to drive it back to get it fixed … the mechanics didn’t tighten a valve makes me a little uncomfortable on the work that they would do and sign off on. On the upside, they did see me right away to get the problem resolved In and out within an hour. Foreman manager was understanding still waiting to see if it leaks again.

Long Beach BMW has amazing techs. The appointment system is easy to use. You pull in and connect you with your service advisor. They text throughout the day with updates. They even took me last minute when I had a tire issue. I have trusted my previous BMW 328i with them and now my 330e. I’m loyal to them for they have been good to me.

May Villalobos in service is great! She is always very helpful. I use to go to BMW of DTLA and I had to follow May to Long Beach because her customer service is amazing unlike the ones from DTLA. She’s always on top of everything and gets me in and out smoothly every time. They were so kind to me since I walked in to get my car serviced. It was under warranty so the fixed it up free of no charge. They did take a little bit longer than expected so I didn’t get my car until the next day. They sincerely apologized and didn’t charge me for the inspection either! Miguel Torres, the Service Center specialist is very courteous and respectful. He only recommends what is needed to fix my X3, offer special discounts that are available to save money. In fact, I requested vehicle inspection but he stated I have only 4,000 miles and not needed. It has to be 10,000 miles and this being said, I saved more money too. He helped me get a loaner car for my trip back home also thanks to Chelsie who facilitated an X3 as I am used to driving this car. It was a very convenient and wonderful experience getting my car fixed at Long Beach BMW. Cashier Clarissa Baldoz politely explained the charges, she saved my worries on money matters. This service center is my favorite of all because I feel respected and valued.

Bought my car used through Carvana and my car was making a loud whistling noise. I called my extended warranty and was told to take it to the nearest BMW dealership. I thought I was doomed. Called in to make an appointment to get it checked out and spoke to Gilbert in the service dpt he told me not to worry that if it was the valve cover it might be covered through some emissions warranty. Historically I’ve always had a positive experience at Signal Hill BMW. All my maintenance on my previous cars were performed here and so I decided to purchase my X5 here as well. I purchased an X5 on OCT 2023. Shortly after I purchased my car I notice two child rear seat ancho covers and a cargo cover were missing. I should have visited the dealer then, however, I decided to wait when I had time. After all I purchased the extended bumper to bumper coverage (5k). Today I brought my car in and to my surprise the anchor covers ($45ea) and cargo cover ($700+) are not covered! I can’t believe the nickel and dime after paying 60k for an X5 and 5k for extended coverage. I don’t even have kids to use those anchors, just an eye soar without the covers. To add to the frustration i asked to remove the iconic sounds I purchased on connected drive ($100). I wasn’t even asking to get reimbursed. They advise that wasn’t covered as well and would cost me $250+. I asked to speak with the service mgr and to his credit he offered to reduce the price by half, but still I wasn’t going to fork out $150 to remove a $100 service. This was the first time I had a bad experience at this dealer. My other cars are due service and after this experience I’m seriously thinking of switching to an independent repair shop.

Had my vehicle towed in on a Thursday evening due to a flat tire. The service advisor called the next day (Friday) and said the tire should be in later that afternoon and they would install on Saturday. Called multiple times on Saturday and finally responded midday saying the tire wouldnt arrive until Monday. Called on Monday and was told my service advisor was off and nobody knew anything about the tire install. He finally called me on Tuesday around noon to let me know my vehicle was ready to be picked up. All in all, very poor communication by the advisor and zero planning or back up while he was off. I wasnt offered a courtesy vehicle, but thankfully we have another vehicle in the household, so I just used that. Our other vehicle is a Toyota and the service at our local dealership is great (i.e. text message updates, good communication from service advisor, etc). I sent my BMW 530i for regular oil change in 11/2023 and coolant hose fix due to some coolant leaking issue. The engine oil alert lit up after 1.5 months time while the coolant was still leaking. George Raygoza made my visit very unpleasant from first meeting. As soon as I arrived with my vehicle being towed in, I asked a porter for assistance. He led me to Mr Raygoza for assistance. Even the lobby was empty. My last visit was so pleasant and this visit unfortunately has soured my view of Long Beach BMW. I am writing to share my incredibly disappointing experience with BMW Long Beach dealership. I strongly advise against purchasing or servicing your vehicle there. From start to finish, my encounters with both the sales and service departments were nothing short of appalling, leaving me 100% unsatisfied.Just two months after purchasing a certified pre-owned vehicle, I discovered that one of the right front wheel lug nuts was loose and would not tighten at all. When I brought it to the dealership, instead of receiving assistance, I was met with incredulity and baseless accusations about the issue. It was later revealed that the vehicle had been transferred from Beverly BMW to Long Beach BMW without undergoing proper inspection, forcing them to rectify the problem. This negligence left me deeply unsettled, especially considering I regularly transport my 18-month-old daughter in the vehicle.Four months later, I noticed that the rear right door was misaligned, refused to close properly, and protruded outward—the same door my daughter sits near. Upon inspection, the dealership confirmed that the car had indeed been in a prior accident, despite the clean CarFax report. They attempted to align the hinges, but the door remained uneven. To compound matters, upon returning home, I discovered a glaring dent on the same door. Despite numerous attempts to contact the dealership, including leaving messages for the shop foreman and used car manager, I have received no response regarding this matter, even after two weeks.I spent three months meticulously searching for a vehicle in pristine condition, trusting that a certified pre-owned vehicle would meet my expectations. However, the litany of issues I encountered has left me feeling betrayed and utterly dissatisfied. The time and money wasted—driving four hours round trip each time—have been immeasurable. I implore you to take your business elsewhere to avoid the frustration and disappointment I endured at BMW Long Beach.

I’ve had my BMW X3 and i3 serviced at Long Beach BMW many times and have generally been happy with the results. After today; however, I’m not sure I’ll return as they simultaneously failed to keep their word on a prior repair and recommended a $2,000 repair as “critical” which was 100% unnecessary.This was either the result of incompetence or trying to exploit a customer who they believe possesses insufficient knowledge to recognize a repair that is not needed. I’ve had good experience with LBB in the past so I’m inclined to think it was simply the result of incompetence and that there was no malice involved. Unfortunately, whether due to malice or incompetence, I’m still left no longer able to trust in their recommendations :-(Here’s what happened…I took my i3 in for its annual service and coincidentally the passenger door handle came loose the day before, so I asked them to address that as well. The same handle has come loose before, at which time LBB assured me there was nothing wrong with it and that it only needed an adjustment. They charged me roughly $300 for the adjustment and said they would readjust it for free if it came loose again within 6 months. Here we are 4 months after the adjustment, they tell me it can’t be repaired and that both the handle and carrier need to be replaced at a cost of roughly $2,000 since they’re both too worn out to hold an adjustment. The whole thing smelled rotten so I rejected the proposed repair and took the car home.After a quick check on YouTube to learn how the handle and carrier work, I purchased the requisite torx bit for $10 and had the handle back working like new in less than 15 minutes. During the course of doing the adjustment myself, I learned not only that the proposed replacement was 100% unnecessary (the wear and tear claimed by LBB simply did not exist) but also that the reason for the handle coming loose so soon after the first adjustment is that the adjustment had been done incorrectly. Granted it is the poor design of the interface between the i3 handle and carrier that makes it possible to adjust incorrectly, but having expertise with such nuances is the main reason for taking a car to a dealership and paying the premium…at least for me.Hopefully, all this is just an anomaly and not indicative of broader issues at LBB.

I am very weary of leaving bad reviews but unfortunately my experience warranted it. I usually go to other dealerships for services but at the time they did not have oil filters and thus I ended up going to this one. For it being my first time, you can understand that I was very confused with the layout and process. I was not familiar with the loaner process as other dealers allow you to schedule ahead of time and in this situation I had to essentially plead with staff in order to get a loaner for a couple hours despite me explaining my commute and the need for a vehicle for a short period of time. Usually I am informed of all the services that will be performed, including car washes as I normally decline those given that I paid to get my car ceramic coated. In this instance I was not asked and they went ahead and did it anyways. The wash only cleaned the sides, leaving piled on dirt on both the from and rear end. It also left swirls along my paint on both driver and passenger side. I did inform the service manger of my experience but I was ultimately told that the wash couldn’t have caused that damage since they put their cars in it as well. Additionally, I offered to show them pictures of how my car was left after the wash but they did not accept to see them.

I had a wonderful experience at Long Beach BMW service center. Checking in was a breeze and the customer service with Miguel Torres was excellent. He thoroughly explained everything that was going to be serviced, walked me to the dealership lounge area to show me the coffee and snack station. I decided to wait at the dealership even though I was offered an uber voucher to get a ride home which I appreciated for the kind gesture. Now we are being told the trouble was a production problem. Long Beach BMW Service Manager refuses to fix, unless we (the customer) pay 20% of the $4,446.69 cost. Why wasn’t it fixed the first time it was brought in. Does anyone REALLY want to do business with such a company?

After 4 cars with South Bay BMW, I’m glad I took my business to LB. The experience has been more pleasant. I checked in with Joshua for a routine service. He is a great advisor; personable and thorough with explanations. I appreciate the Uber voucher so I don’t have to sit around and wait.The only con I have is driving up to the service department. This is not the first time I’ve sat. And sat. And sat while service staff looked me in the eyes, continued to walk by in conversation with each other and still didn’t acknowledge my presence as a customer. It was at least another 5 minutes of standing outside of my car before a young lady walked over and asked if I needed help. Duhhh!! By this time, my advisor was walking outside. If there’s a specific check-in procedure then that needs to be clear to customers. Otherwise, 5 stars for my experience with my advisor.
