Long Beach Bartending School gives you the tools to start making as much money as you want in a very short period of time. I made back the money I paid upfront the first gig I worked, which was while I was still going through the program.All the instructors and Elvis are so supportive and really want you to succeed. This program does require you to focus and work hard, but it’s so worth it. Having worked various gigs from private events, festivals, nightclubs to dive bars, within the short period of time since graduation, I feel the program really drilled the recipes into our brains, made us practice speed and taught us how to be proper bartenders. I’ve come across so many bartenders with a lot more experience where I am so much more knowledgable in the recipes and practices.On top of that, the jobs and gigs that Elvis continues to hook us up with after graduation is gold. If you focus and work hard, there are really endless opportunities to make as much money as you want in this field.

Long Beach Bartending School has brought me so much opportunities. At first I was scared because I never bartended in my life but the school was very welcoming and help me so much to get out there as well as improve my social skills. I have done so many different events rolling loud, escape, countdown, and even the Super Bowl. This is your sign to enroll and start making your money invest on yourself because no one else will.

If anyone is looking to become a bartender I 10/10 recommend Long Beach bartending school.I signed up having no knowledge on alcohol and coming to this school has taught me everything I need to know.In a short amount of time I was given several opportunities to work for festivals, insomniac festivals, events and even got the opportunity to work the Super Bowl! This was the first step I made towards a new career and I couldnt have made a better choice!Real people, real bartenders, amazing community! Ive been a member since 2015 and let me start off by saying I had no idea how connected this school is. The place is as-you-go, so no worrying about class times or long hours. Come in on your own schedule. There are instructors on hand to give you lessons and tips. Elvis, the owner, is the MAN, hell always have your back if you want the work and you represent! Hes led me to big opportunities at awesome events such as Beyond Wonderland, LB Pride, and Beer Festivals, etc. (hes where the connections start). All of which, Ive made some BANG $$$!To this day, as the manager of a restaurant, Im still connected to the school and Elvis.Its not just a school, its a community where everyone has the same goal in mind: making that MONEY! This is what you have been looking for.

All I can say is wow. I went in expecting a basic bartending course, but discovered the value in becoming a student. Its not just a class. They provide you with the most training in the area to truly prepare you for success.I came from corporate marketing in the eastern part of the US, and Elvis managed to turn me into a rockstar bartender in just a month. Not to mention - they offer JOB PLACEMENT. I got multiple offers in the week after graduating and accepted more than one!I cant express how much I loved my experience here and how much I will utilize my lifetime membership here and around the country at their other locations - yes - you can MOVE and they still help you in your area.Best money Ive ever spent.

When signing up I was exited to start on this new adventure of bartending. When attending the classes it’s first come first serve on who gets to practice on the bar so unless you come at opening time expect to wait at least an hour before actually being able to practice. Another thing that happened was one of the instructors drinking while teaching. Showing the level of professionalism this place really has. I called the manager wanting a refund for my money but was denied a full refund due to the unfair contract made by the school which makes it impossible for anyone to actually receive a full refund. Fortunately I was able to get half of my money back but was given disrespectful mannerism when requesting more. as well when signing up I notice they give students different sign up prices. Overall this place isn’t bad tho. If you put in the time and effort some of the instructors will work with you. I say if you are looking for a long term career in bartending than this would be a good start to have. Although my experience here was not a good one I am not slandering this business rather giving Some constructive criticism I hope this place takes in consideration to get organized with themselves and to make sure to hire instructors that will take their job seriously.

Hi All!I am currently a bartender, and with the help of Elvis from Long Beach Bartending School, I have been able to secure so many job opportunities that I never thought I could be a part of.I am a graduate of ABC Bartending school, but due to the nature of the efficacy of their job placement, I was unable to find the work that I aspired to be a part of. Not only has Elvis been able to secure me lucrative VIP bartending gigs, but he has enabled me to connect with the amazing grads from this esteemed school.I am so grateful for Elvis’s tenacity towards job placement. Joining this school is definitely one of the best investments I’ve made. The course itself is very personal and hands-on with some of the most personable instructors I’ve ever met, as they cater to your trouble areas and help you hone your talents and your craft. Yet what really drove this course home for me was the graduation process and the way you are treated like FAMILY. I don’t say that lightly at all either. Upon graduating this course, I was empowered to lift myself out of the dead-end situation I was in and change trajectory in life. From the moment I spoke with Elvis over the phone I already had a great feeling about this school. The course is so easy and fun, and whats best is its designed to work around your personal schedule. Its the best decision Ive ever made for myself, I would recommend anyone whos looking to get into the bartending scene to start at this school. Elvis has hooked me up with so many connections and great people to work for, and the money is great! I cant thank him enough for all the help hes provided me with. Ive known Elvis since before he started at Long Beach Bartending School. He was my instructor when I broke into the industry. I consider myself very lucky to have had a strong mentor that follows through with his lessons and students and is very determined to help anyone with the drive to succeed. To get ahead in the world of bartending takes having a unique edge and Elvis is a great example. He is very knowledgeable and a lesson with him is never boring, but he always highlights maintaining a professional demeanor when behind the bar. All in all I am very grateful to have had the meticulous instruction that prepared me for an industry in which I have to potential to make insane amounts of money and enjoy myself while I do it.

So I’ve been bartending for Elvis and his management staff for a couple of events this last year and a couple this year so far. A lot of our staff at the events are former students of this school. Just want to say how much of a blessing it is to work with everyone. I’ve bartended at a few different restaurant bars for a few years and I make more in one night at one of these events than I have all month at some of the places I’ve worked previous. I’ve made over $2k in just 1 one-night event. Most events around $1500/night. The management staff makes sure you’re super successful with or without a lot of experience. The extra money right now is such a blessing. I highly recommend working with these people!

However, after not being able to secure job opportunities for my primary interest in event bartending, my friend suggested and connected me with Long Beach Best Bartending!They are a group of friendly, kind people who are big on helping one another out...I highly suggest attending Long Beach Bartending!!Definitely worth attending this school and learning from Elvis to receive your bartending certificate...And securing amazing job opportunities you wont find anywhere else!!

I started on the old program a week ago and felt so overwhelmed (way too much info at once)... So the new owner (Elvis) let me switch over to the new program. Its day two and Ive already passed 3 lessons and speed test. Its SO much fun! Having a great time and meeting new people. The one on ones are great and necessary especially if youre coming in part time like me.This is the place to come to for all your bartending training! Elvis and Mallory are so great! And the new hours are even better.

Awesome experience! Very friendly and knowledgeable instructors. The man in charge of the new job placement program is Elvis. He helped me out with some job leads and I got an interview the following day. Today an agency which Elvis referred me to called with another job opportunity and I start tomorrow. I would definitely recommend this program to a friend. In my experience this is the first job placement to get me an interview the next day!

I am the kind of person that has probably never written a review in their life, but when it comes to National bartending school in Lakewood i just felt like i had to stop and give credit where its due. This school has literally changed my life, and for a very little tuition enabled me to transform the course of my career. The course itself is very comprehensive and instructors are very flexible and attentive. Hats off to Elvis for doing a great job graduating many students on daily basis and for being a great tutor as well. I went to this school even though there were several options. They just sounded much better than everyone else but their price was a little bit higher. I cant begin to say enough about Elvis and Mallory. They really care about their students. Before I am even a graduate I worked the hard summers night music festival and I made the fee I paid to go to the bartending school plus two times the fee. I should have made this decision a long time ago. Elvis has jobs lined up for anyone in need and I was in need. $1200 in two days (long days but just two) I have never made $40 an hour before so Im excited to see what they have in store for me next. I highly recommend this bartending school!

I had the BEST experience at The National Bartending School In Lakewood! It has a great atmosphere, and I had the best time learning all sorts of recipes. Everyone is friendly and I made a few lifelong friends In the process . This is the best bartending school around! While going here I learned more than 200 drinks all while having fun! The teachers, Elvis and Kris made learning so easy! I had an incredible experience with the Long Beach Bartending School! The staff were very friendly and knowledgeable and taught me so much about mixology and the rich culture that surrounds alcohol. They made sure we were all well versed in each lesson and did not move on until they felt we were proficient to perform in a fast-paced, high-volume establishment and even helped with job placement DURING, as well as after completing the course. I would recommend this course to everyone who is interested in bartending! I took the two week course at Lakewood and still felt like I needed more because there is SO much to learn. I guess the place was sold to a new owner that changed up the course to an open course(100 Hours) and Im two days in and Ive learned SO MUCH SO FAST Im shocked!! And having fun. I highly recommend this school! Itll make you confident behind the bar.
