I did skin tightening treatment on my visit today, the skin esthetician was Jennifer. The service here was really good. They have a machine to first analyze your skin and give you treatment based on it.The shop is nice and clean. The staff here are friendly and very attentive to your needs. I highly recommend!

Cyro freezing. Hana took very good care of me. She explained the process and it was great. Everything was fine until the manager started showing me packages. I simply declined and her whole attitude went from friendly to get the hell out. I understand sales and the need for agreements, but trying to force it is a turn off. Great work Hana, but I won’t be back.

SCAM ALERT!! BUYER BEWARE!! Lola Soap Cannery Row / Monterey AKA Lilly Beauty Spa. They have multiple locations using different names as well. NO REFUNDS! DON’T PROVIDE ANY PERSONAL INFORMATION…AND DON’T SIGN ANYTHING, ESPECIALLY ON A TABLET…IT’S A TRAP!! You are signing a “NO REFUND” CONTRACT clause. Lola/Lilly will NOT give you a REFUND and you will lose any dispute with your Credit Card company! Lola/Lilly has an “F” rating on BBB with multiple unanswered complaints. Search “Lola Soap BBB Complaints” to find BBB complaints and negative Yelp Reviews. My experience happened at LOLA / Lilly Beauty Spa in Cannery Row/Monterey on 3/26/23-3/27/23. Let me state that my friend was with me on both days, so I have a witness to my experience.1) False claims – Rosie said the Introstem eye cream ($299+) was a 2 year supply and the results would last 5-7 days per application. FALSE! The eye cream worked instantly in the store, but the puffiness returned 6-8 hours later. Then you find out later about the “No Refunds” policy. I get better results from Preparation H or baking soda.2) No Upfront Pricing – The price is a moving target depending on how much you resist.3) NO REFUNDS!! This is a high end retail store with no refunds. At NO point in this entire transaction did Rice mention a “no refund” policy. She waited until we were about to leave, to slip the receipt(s) into the bag versus handing the receipts to us directly. This seemed like a further attempt to obscure the “no refund” policy, which is printed at the bottom of the receipt(s).4) I found out about the “No refund” policy when trying to return the infrared device and unopened creams within 24 hours of purchase. Rice asked for my receipt and pointed to the bottom of the receipt which stated “no refunds, exchanges within 14 days”. We also then discovered ONE small sign stating “No Refunds” HIDDEN BEHIND A PLANT.5) Lack of Customer Service – When I tried to get my refund, Rice became unprofessional and lost all sense of customer service. Since Rice refused to resolve the issue, I left the product on the counter. So now I no longer have the product, nor do I have a refund. Rice called the owner while we were in the store, but did not let me speak to him. I emailed him, but he never responded back. He has even gone so far as to deny that I am a customer of Lola/Lilly. The actual storefront is “Lola Soap” but is operating as “Lilly Beauty”.6) No Copy of “Contract/Refund Policy”. I asked Rice multiple times for a copy of the paperwork I filled out. She dismissed my concerns saying I would get the paperwork via email. Lola never sent me any paperwork. WARNING! DON’T FILL OUT ANY FORMS, ESPECIALLY ON A TABLET. You are consenting to the “No Refund” policy. You will lose a credit card dispute by signing.7) USED DEVICE - Rice HERSELF opened a NEW device and handed it to me while I was in the store…so that it became a “used” item. Then to fight my credit card dispute, Lola stated that “I” opened the device. FALSE!8) Bait and Switch – When Rice opened the NEW infrared device and handed it to me, my friend and I both realized it was NOT the same one used in the demonstration. Rice dismissed our concerns, saying it was a better version.9) No Written Warranty – The infrared device supposedly worth $10,000+ has NO WARRANTY…and NO REFUNDS When asked about a warranty, Rice said not to worry, they will take care of any issues. If the product is good, they should be able to offer a written warranty AND refunds. Even infrared devices bought on Amazon for $200 offer warranties and refunds!10) Rice indicated that I had to be approved for credit PRIOR to telling me the price of the device. I thought she was running a credit check. I didn’t realize that I was actually opening a CareCredit/Synchrony Back credit card.11) Solicit Review – Before leaving the store, Rice wanted me to write a review. I declined and I’m glad I did. Now, all I can do is try to warn others to stay away!

I won’t recommend or suggest to any to my friends!And I highly warn you that you will walk out of there with a huge credit card charge .On top of everything they push you to give a review other services right and the spot in front of them ! I cant believe the difference in the before and after using the LED machine and Introstem product. I cant quit looking in the mirror. And Rice was so knowledgable in skin care so nice. Looking forward to going out tonight. Unbelievable but it works. If your in Monterey, make sure to stop and ask for Rice and see the difference for yourself.

I am really disappointed in Lola Soap Monterey. First of all, I had scheduled an appointment on a Sunday which had been confirmed and then at the last minute cancelled for some unknown reason. I received text messages all week about rescheduling and so I did. I drove 30 minutes to my appointment and paid $30.00 for parking just to arrive and find out they did not have me on the schedule and they only had one esthetician. I had actually called and spoke to Nico to let him know I was having a hard time finding parking and he assured me that it was not a problem and that all of their estheticians were available because it was the last promotional weekend just to be told that I could reschedule again if I wanted a facial. I was in disbelief because the only reason o drove out here was for the facial that I was so much looking forward to. The reason I gave them one star was because I received a complimentary sugar scrub for my troubles. It would’ve been a lot less trouble not to waste my time or money coming all the way out here in the first place.

Rice gave me a facial and she did an outstanding job. I could see the results there in the store and she is so kind and personable it was such a treat to talk about skincare with her. Scam alert. I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately like other reviewers came away feeling scammed. Here were the issues:1) Bait and Switch. I took advantage of an internet special offer. After I came in, paid, and was in the treatment room it became apparent the treatment they were going to give me was not the one advertised, but a less expensive one. At first I was told I misunderstood the offer. When I pulled up a screenshot of the ad on my phone and showed it to them, I was then told they didnt have the equipment for that particular service but the one they were giving me was equally effective.2) Hard Sell. After the treatment, I was told to sit to discuss treatment and any questions with the manager, Rice, which turned out to be a high pressure sales pitch. She succeeded in running numbers that made sense to me and I unfortunately agreed to a package that was offered at discounted pricing and available in installments because I was a local. Also, at my first visit I was offered a significant discount if I would come on to Google reviews to leave a positive review for the aesthetician, because she was new. I said I would think about it. She asked to see my phone so she could pull up Google Reviews right then for me to leave the review. Notice how many of the positive reviews here are from people who were there for the first time that day, not people who have actually had time to see any results.3) Dishonesty. The manager said she needed me to fill out a quick questionnaire on my phone to confirm that I am local, but several questions in I was being asked for my social security number and other information relevent to getting a loan. I expressed surprise about this being for a loan and she brushed it off saying it was just to figure out my installment payments, since I am local. It turned out to be an app for a loan.4) No Results. I didnt even come back for the last two treatments of the package I paid for because there were no results, and it seemed since they were already paid for the sessions were shorter and less care was put into them. They were also frequently rescheduled.In reviewing the way management responds to any negative reviews here, there is a pattern of revealing unnecessary personal information about the reviewer, and not receiving the feedback with an openness toward improving operations.I usually only leave positive reviews, but my experience at Lola was bad enough that I want to warn others.

Jennifer was very sweet and great to work with. The treatment from the store manager was very pushy. Kept asking me to verify i am local and even tried to get me to run my credit through carecredit financing to make sure “i was local” carecredit is not a verification of my residence portal. Treatment for first time for cryogreeze was with the $100 but i would never go back for $699 treatment again to be treated in only one spot the size of a wallet. I got the tightening facial special . When you book online through the IG special they then call you to reschedule . Then arrived Thor appointment today and whom I believe to be the owner she was not very welcoming . They say a consultation is included, which is a machine taking pictures of your face to show you areas needing work. Well she did not know how to explain. Had my “facial” done which was the simplest things I normally do at home . Then when I was done they ask you to have a seat and literally tell you ok go to google and under review you can do your review and put five stars I’m like what!! Horrible service

My friend recommended me to try their treatment so I came one day. They checked me in first, gave me a consultation form, asked if I have allergies. I did the skin tightening with infraed LED light, I feel my skin is more firming and shining. And Rice suggested I could come once a month so I bought a facial package.

The spa was relaxing, clean, and prompt. My technician Korinna explained each process to me before she applied the various products. My face burns easily, and I was pleased with all products she used. The product I enjoyed the best is a lava mask. Her applications were gentle and the facial was very refreshing. While visiting Monterey my friend recommended me to come by your shop for a facial. I was nervous and while being led into the room for the facial, I was surprised how the facialist was more than friendly and professional. Korinna put me at ease right away. I came here for an appointment with their aesthetician. She was great, but the rest of my experience was not great. The staff that work in the front area are extremely unprofessional. The manager is the equivalent of the person that chases you in the mall trying to sell you skin care products from a kiosk. Beware of this if you go there. They will try to sell you their products at an astronomical price with special discounts for today only. I do recommend their aesthetician, just run out the door when you are done.

Honestly disappointed! I arrive at my scheduled appointment was greeted by two lady’s that where by the door asked if I had appointment then looked in there system and ask me to have a seat, I sat there for a good 20 minutes with out anyone letting me know that the Aesthetician was not there and was running a late, finally the person doing my facial shows up takes her a few more minutes to come out to take me back, she was friendly by the way but felt that facial really did nothing to my face she did Suggested a different treatment that they don’t offer there . Then I go out after the facial and the floor sales lady Asian lady sits me down to sell me some eye serum for $437 😒 I said ok just charge me for the facial and I don’t want the serum, she ended up doble charging me ! I told her you charge my credit card for the serum I’m not taking ! I always get updates on my phone when My credit card is used, and it’s for $437 She now has attitude with me like it’s my fault she charging me so u asked her to refund that back to my credit card 😤 so Now I’m handing her my debit card to pay for the facial that was $60 this time since she had ran my credit card with the $437 and supposedly refunded back, i get home look at my bank statement and notice she charging me the $60 and again $437 to my account 😤 now I had to call my bank stop payment and wait to call the salon the next day just to get additional passive aggressive attitude from this lady 😡 rice is what she said her name is and she gives me a call sounding Aggressive not even apologizing for her confusion, and demanded I take down my review.

The manager, Rice, went above and beyond my expectations as soon as I entered the shop. I was kindly greeted at the front door and Rice took me in right away, even though I was 15 minutes early, I didn’t need to wait. I filled out a simple clinical form, since it is a skin treatment center, and the esthetician assisted me into the room for my facial. I absolutely loved everything about it. Extremely high quality non-toxic and vegan products all made in the US with OUT-OF-THIS-WORLD technology!! Unbelievable! Basically, they had this advanced machine using some kind of laser light that was able to analyze and scan multiple structures of your face to help the esthetician give an accurate diagnostic before doing the actual facial. Never seen anything like it before! Incredibly amazing! Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. I would definitely recommend!! Go try it out for yourself!

My first time visiting Lola Soap I was welcomed in by a super friendly and professional staff. They have a variety of skin care products and organic soap. I purchased some facial products and used my wrong credit card so they gave me a refund I thought and they ran charges again on my second credit card it’s been 17 days and I yet to get a refund from Lola soap they said I would get a refund on my card and that is not happening I am having to call bank and put a claim against Lola Soap for double charges and her girls that answer the phone are rude when it comes to dealing with these types of problems I will not recommend this store or products beware if your from out of town …. Plus you can go to Amazon and get the facial products at a fraction of the cost do your homework on cost on these products. I have contacted owner several times and he assured me everything is being taken care of but I yet to see any refund 17 days later .. This is an Update on my post today is October 28th 2022 and my Bank has yet to get a refund from Lola Soap this is the worst ever store that I’ve seen who will not give customers there refunds 👎👎👎👎 UPDATE as of 06/13/2023 Lola Soap Denied to pay my Bank the refund amount so Lola Soap kept double the money don’t trust them the owner assured me he would refund and till this day I never received a check in the mail or a Bank refund never will I recommend products or this business 😡😡😡😡😡😡

My wife had a appointment at 1530hrs, while she was putting money in the parking meter next to the business to enter she gets a call that she needs to reschedule her appointment that they decided to close for the day! Hmmm 🤔 highly unprofessional and unreliable we will never go to that establishment ever again. Also you need to ask yourself why aren’t they listed on Yelp?

Went in for soap, was talked into a free eye treatment and was impressed with the product, Lionesse wrinkle filler. Unfortunately whatever was used to perform this miracle transformation is absolutely not what is in the 400.00 dollar bottle I purchased because the result after usage is not even remotely close to what I had in the store. I’m all for spending top dollar for a good product but not a bait and switch. Insult to injury I googled the product and discovered others have the same complaint at other establishments and the product is garbage. Buy the soap, skip the “free” eye treatment
